Fen has literally no link to china or chinese culture, and I have to keep reminding myself of that when I find really pretty chinese-inspired and qi lolita dresses to put him in. Like:

#To be clear I'm not whining about not being able to do cultural appropriation here #The second one might be a proper Tang or Ming Dynasty style hanfu? I'm actually not sure #But the others are clearly fantasy and stylized garments which take inspirations from various elements of traditional chinese garments #The bottom two especially seem to be combining the look with lolita fashion due to the shape of the skirt #And the top one is actually from a chinese mobile game called The Tale of Food #The point is that Fen is meant to have primarily russian and slavic inspirations to just in terms of his character's theming #it isn't very fitting to put him in these chinese inspired clothes #but he'd look SO PRETTY IN THEM UGHHH #fen tag

I do love meat but I cannot stand dishes where the point is a slab of meat. Why would I eat straight up steak or pork loin where are all the other ingredients. shit is so boring

as a rlly picky eater i feel like a lot of the "oh, you learn to like foods as you get older" is a lot more "you are now capable and willing to try foods that you hated in a different way bc it's more accessible to you now and bc you can personalize it" than "your body changed"
