Bro is so fucking majestic, I can actually feel the tears gathering in my eyes 🥹
AND they look so shocked, which is very valid. Last time they saw each other ALIVE, Izuku was taken through that portal by Toga. Then, Izuku got back but Katsuki had his heart blown up.
Izuku’s pupils being dilated as Katsuki is in sights, bcuz last time he saw him he was dead, is so wonderful to me.

Rain patters against your bedroom window, encompassing you in a cage that feels a bit too cold for comfort, winning against the lost warmth of tear-stained covers.
It's dark outside. The midnight moon silently crying off in the distance, illuminating just enough for you to see the murmuring silhouette of cars driving through the dampened roads.
"I just wanted to hear your voice," His voice is rough, and that oh so familiar gruff that resonated under the loving tone he used with you, yeah, you couldn't help but feel bittersweet, "it's stupid, but I miss you a lot right now. Don't go telling that shit to the others, shitty hair wouldn't shut up about it last time."
The corners of your mouth tug up, "you know I love you right?"
Instinctively, the tips of your fingers trace over the circle of dainty silver that hugs your index comfortingly.
"I know I don't say it enough, and that I can act like an asshole sometimes." He scoffs at himself, letting the smallest chuckle escape from his lips, "But you deal with me so well."
It goes silent for just a moment, and the muffled sounds of traffic start to fill the room.
"Thank you.."
Stupid Katsuki.
"I need to go soon,"

Why wasn't Jin's love enough to change Toga's heart?
So in chapter 395 Toga said the following:
I just wonder why her relationship with Jin/Twice never inspired these feelings. Didn't she find familial love with the LOV and particularly with Twice?
Twice really loved Toga (like family) just as she was. He never demanded anything from her and even saved her life. Why wasn't Twice's love enough to illicit these same type of feelings of wanting to give blood rather than take.

Watching/ reading MHA and getting a better understanding of these characters just makes more of a bkdk shipper.
The ship-whether if you view it platonically or romantically-has so much depth, complexity, layers, and it is genuinely a perfect ship.
To Deku still caring and trusting Bakugou despite there past from Bakugou physically AND verbally admitting his mistakes and apologizing directly to Deku, the two are like soulmates in my eyes. Always meeting each other in the middle somehow.
To Deku saving Bakugou in the first few volumes from Bakugou straight up doing the exact same.
Over and over again, they find some way to protect one another. Some way they find there way TO one another
Horikoshi may not make them canon, but he sure as hell made sure that we knew that they are going to be there for each other, no matter what.
Love that for them 💚🧡
