Izuku almost shattered a window when Katsuki first told him.
They'd been reminiscing about their early UA days, about how different their strained friendship (toxic rivalry? It was hard to describe, sometimes) had been compared to now, when Bakugou leaned back in his chair and said, “I still get kind of freaked whenever a villain tries to cuff me, ever since the Sport's Fest. That crazy chick with the chain quirk took me down last week and I almost keeled over. Would've gotten a serious beatdown if Red Riot hadn't been there to bail me out.”
Izuku's neck creaked as he slowly turned towards him. The chatter in the bar paused briefly before quickly picking up again, the usual patrons having a sixth sense for when something was absolutely not their business. “Excuse me?”

Aizawa's confusion quickly grew into concern. “Kid?”
“I'm just—” another series of crashes, a muffled yelp, and then Izuku was throwing the door open.
They stared at each other for a moment, Izuku wide-eyed with mussed hair and Aizawa squinting at his face.
“Hi,” he said, trying for nonchalance and failing.
“What,” Aizawa dragged his gaze pointedly towards the thin, shallow scratch on Izuku's cheek, “was that.”
“That? What ‘that’?” Izuku patted his hair down, a shaky smile on his face. “There's no that.”

Alright, this is the last sock post for a while. For real this time!
Very confused by the way that 2 balls of mass produced yarn from the same dye lot turned out so different, but I'm not mad at it.
This pattern was super fun! Shortly after finishing the gusset on the second sock I lost my 5th dpn, so here's hoping that I find it again in a way that doesn't involve impaling myself.

Tim glanced up, indignant. He was ten-and-a-half (so, basically eleven), not a kid. “I’m busy. And I’m not a chil—”
