Some of my ideas in my " Lila the evil" au.

Anyways.. there's Lilix/felila on my " Lila the evil" au lol

I have so many other ideas with my au, that it's straying very far from the original concept. So I'm gonna talk about some of it, because, I felt like :) and I will eventually draw it. So I'm just gonna be rant about my ideas, at least the ones I'm not too lazy to write about lol.

So a bit of a rant below:

Mostly of Felix x Lila

And some spelling and grammar mistakes.

Anyways, Felix's design is all over the place in my head. But he's supposed to be looking like Lila's superior ( because he is. ) He's still gonna be wearing so much black lol.

And I fully intend on making Lila Italian. But she just was raised in " empire". Many people notice that she looks a lot different than what the other people did, but she didn't seem to mind too much.

Basically, Lila is an orphan. She didn't know who her family was, and what was even her name. So, she often traveled around the desolate streets in search of money or something. Many people helped her out ( cute kid duh), they were shocked that she didn't even have a name and named her all sorts of different names. Each name didn't mean much to her, and she just used it lie.

( I also have a reason for why she names herself as " Lila" but it's somewhat edgy, and I'm planning on making a short comic about it.)

Anyways, long story short she's an orphan. She lies about that to everyone though. And often claims that she's from a small yet noble family. Most people believe her ( *cough* kagami), except Felix. He's kinda done with her lies, but stays with her. The formal reason is because his dear uncle asked him to look after her.. but really he's curious about her.

I'm planning on keeping Felix, kagami and Adrian as sentimonsters. But have Felix and kagami be at least somewhat aware. All his life Felix has always been by the books, and following whatever order his father or superiors tell him. He's gotten so good at obeying and killing it's second nature to him. ( And I feel like he would be a sniper guy lol) It's a breath of fresh air, when he mets Lila.

Lila finds a way to bend the rules and commands in the most perfect way so that they would benefit her, and if it doesn't she simply won't do it. That's something Felix never really seen, since his most close friend other than his mother or Adrian is kagami who is exactly like him.

In this au, due to how perfectly " obedient" Felix is. He's called the " empire's dog", which is supposed to be a menacing title. But Lila takes that opportunity to make fun of him, and make "dog" jokes.

Since Lila was an orphan living in the slums of a war like country, she's had absolutely nothing to lose. That's why she's such a monster in that au, and why she likes to screw with Felix. Sure she's a complete Liar, but she's not just lying to be popular. She's doing it to live comfortably.

Felix is very good at observing, and he notices how her lies don't match up. Like how she claims to taste very fancy food, yet fawns over every dessert they have. Felix can tell she's.. not what she's saying she is. But doesn't expose her.

I made this romance not only because I like the ship, but it works well enough in my au.

Felix is somewhat relieved that she doesn't confuse him with Adrian ( they never met lol), and finds her fascinating and somewhat adorable.

While Lila never had actual friends before, or even a real family. But every time he protects her from certain death ( with how much Lila provokes people, it becomes way too common ). And genuinely sees her, as her. He sees past her lies, and sees.. well her. All her life she makes sure to give everyone what they want to see.. so it's very unnerving and interesting Felix is to Lila. Since no matter what lie she makes, Felix finds a way to prove the truth.

They're both monsters, yet they find a sense of care with each other. They both have committed heinous acts, each with a reason why. But they both know that their sins won't be forgiven so easily. So, they enjoy it while they can. The power and the luxury, at least that's what Lila plans to do and Felix will follow.

Sure they're not entirely sure how loyal or likely each one is to stab them it the back. But they find solitude with each other. Knowing that they can be monsters together.

There's more but I'm about to pass out lol.

Thanks for the ask and damn I'm always so excited when it comes to these so ofc I don't mind, also warning I'm about to kinda go off. It's a pretty long list so I'll only talk about the ones that left the biggest impression on me.

Warning for mentions of twincest, incest and age gaps.

Starting off with the ship that indoctrinated me into the bl life style *drumroll*

Draco Malfoy/Harry Potter (aka Drarry); enemies/rivals to lovers, blond x ravenette, they basically set the precedent for every ship I pick up like a stray cat these days.

Bakugou Katsuki/Midoriya Izuku (Bakudeku): Enemies to lovers, plus constantly on each other's mind as a motivation in one way or the other. I love them so much.

Mikage Reo/Nagi Seishiro (NagiReo): one of my current hyperfixations, mainly cuz they're one of the few ships I have that wasn't introduced as rivals from the start as well as being extremely close canonically. They click so well despite their miscommunication (more like no communication but I'll probably get to that another day).

Gojo Saturou/Itadori Yuuji (GoYuu): Most of my blog will you a clue already lol.

Sukuna/Itadori Yuuji (SukuIta): Number one toxic ship rn, but would you believe I prefer their siblings falling in forbidden love trope?

Mikaela Hyakuya/Yuuichiro Hyakuya (MikaYuu): Found family lovers that will give anything for each other? Sign me up.

Tyki Milk/Allen Walker: I walked into the D.gray man fandom late and I will never not regret it, I need more people that at least know who they are (〒﹏〒)

Eren Jeager/Armin Arlet & Eren Jaeger/Levi Ackerman (Eremin & Ereri): Getting these two out of the way at the same time cuz while I think Eren is undeniably his best self a lot with Armin, I love the thought of Levi being there as his inspiration.

Itoshi Rin/Itoshi Sae: Their beef is adorable but they need to fuck.

Roy Mustang/Edward Elric: I love their banter and they've both been through way too much together.

Bruce Wayne/Clark Kent (Superbat): one is batman the other is superman...Need I say more?

Dick Grayson/Tim Drake: I watched Titans and they had me.

Luka/Adrian (Lukachat): I stopped watch Miraculous at like S3 but these two are the only salvageable treasure from that mess to me.

Sherlock Holmes/William James Moriarty (Sherliam): From Moriarty the Patriot not any other adaptations please. There was that one movie tho. I love how they're constantly teasing and trying to outsmart each other like yeah babes, burn that city down to get his attention.

Kageyama Tobio/Hinata Shoyo (Kagehina): I haven't finished Haikyuu S2, spare me.

Kagami Taiga/Kuroko Tetsuya: what's with sports anime and K names, that aside, I don't know but their separation leaves me in tears everytime.

Yukio Okumura/Rin Okumura: Rin cares so much, Yukio stop being a yandere you closeted brocon! I know you!!!

Wei Wuxian/Lan Wangji: I have a thing for broody possessive tops and oblivious bottoms and they were my awakening.

Hideyoshi Nagachika/Ken Kaneki (Hidekane): Receiving Tokyo ghoul spoilers of how things ended kept from finishing the show or starting the manga, what even is the point .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·.

Draken/Mikey/Takemichi & Draken/Mikey: DraMiTake is something I'd consume if I find it cuz I read this one precious fic I will forever cherise but DraMikey has way too much angst potential on its own. Tugs my heart to know Draken keeps Mikey grounded.

Baji Keisuke/Chifuyu Matsuno: Kazutora I will never fucking forgive you.

Hanma shuji/Kisaki Tetta: psychotic boyfriends, we love to see it (✿ ♡‿♡)

Reinhard Van Astrea/Natsuki Subaru: They are literally my banner plus he's one of the few people that doesn't give Subaru a hard time (I only watched S1)

Sebastian Michaelis/Ciel Phantomhive: Butler x master, what else do I need to add. I do absolutely adore the thought of Sebastian being cheeky when putting his young master in his place. I also love soft Sebastian, go figure.

Carnegie/Jonathan Sterling: No one remembers Darkside so I won't even dive into it. These two are the reason I'm trying to finish the series right now, book girlies, read Darkside by Tom Becker and come find me please ಥ‿ಥ

Dante/Vergil: It just makes sense ngl.

Miraculous Future (2)

After the Picnic/Saturday afternoon

Marinette and Adrian managed to work together to get all the kids, Chloe, Kagami, Nino, Nathaniel and Alix into the two large cars Alfred and Jason had driven.

“Alfred, do you know if there will be baby necessities where we’re going,” Marinette asked as she made sure the kids were settled into seats. There was no car seats for a toddler in either of the cars.

“We do not have anything for older babies,” Alfred sighed.

“Hold him,” Marinette said passing the toddler to Jon, “keep getting everyone organized.”

After giving directions she ran through the park and across the street to her parents bakery. She ran right past her mother who was helping a customer and up to the apartment above the bakery. In her room she found the diaper bag she was making for Bruce and Selina’s new baby and packed it with a few of the diapers, wipes and other items she kept at her place from when she babysat the kids of her parents friends.

“Marinette what is going on? Mr. Wayne called and said something about an incident and children?” Sabine asked as Marinette made it downstairs.

“Somehow children from the future are coming into the present.” Marinette made a face, “including six that are calling me mom.”

“Six!?” Sabine exclaimed.

Marinette shrugged, “We’re working out what happened and hopefully we can send the kids back to their times. Since classes are over after today, can I stay with Mr. Wayne and the others until this is resolved.”

“I think they’ll need the help,” she said holding up the diaper bag she carried as proof.

“Mr. Wayne has already suggested having you and your friends come help with the children if you’re willing.”

“I’m willing,” Marinette immediately said.

Sabine smiled, “he offered to pay for your father and me to go with you but with the orders we have to finish this weekend...” she trailed off.

“It’s okay Maman. It’s the end of spring and the wedding business is booming.” Marinette shrugged as if it didn’t bother her.

“Thank you Maman,” she said kissing her mothers cheek before running back to the waiting cars.

“Thank you for waiting Alfred,” she said as she slid into the car. She accepted the baby and did her best to hold the boy in her arms as safely as possible for the short drive to the hotel.

“I hope we can get you guys back home soon,” she said a little worried about what they would have to do to keep them safe if that wasn’t the case.

“It’ll work out somehow Bug,” Adrian said and smiled at the twins snuggled into either side of him.

When they arrived at the building that held the French branch of Wayne Industries, Marinette was less than surprised. Even the men waiting for them at the curb didn’t surprise her.

Damian opened the door closest to Marinette and the children upon seeing him and Luka started calling out greetings for their ‘Papa Luka’ and ‘Baba’. Like when he saw Marinette the toddler practically leaped into Damian’s arms. Marinette, not expecting it, nearly dropped him but Damian caught him and shifted the baby into his arms. The baby, once settled, just babbled at Damian and patted his hands on Damian’s cheeks.

Marinette had to stifle a laugh at Damian’s deer in the headlights look and quietly snuck a picture using her phone camera. Dick and Tim helped Nino, Nathaniel, Alix, their future kids and the future teens out of the second car before both groups were being shepherded into the building. Bruce Wayne himself met them inside and escorted them further into the building.

“Thank you for coming,” He was saying to the group. “For whatever reason this phenomenon is occurring across the globe the heroes affiliated with the Justice League are escorting the children to local access points where we can transfer the children to a safe place they can be protected while they get to the bottom of this. We were told the Batman would be escorting your children himself from this point.”

The door Bruce led them to opened to a conference room where he ushered them inside. “You can wait in here until he arrives.”

“Thank you dude, I mean, sir,” Nino said before walking into the room with his three kids from the future.

“Thank you,” Alix echoed before entering with her boys and Nathaniel and his girl saying thanks in passing.

Once everyone was seated around the table he said, “Considering that these children are from the future, members of the League will be asking you for information to help identify possible causes that led to the children being displaced. Since they are technically underage, we would need parental consent to speak with them. But given the unique circumstances we need to know if you would qualify as an adult that could give us that consent?” He asked looking at the teens in the room.

Nino, Nathaniel and Alix nodded. They had all had their 18th birthdays during the school year. Marinette’s birthday was last month as well, however having skipped a grade when she was younger she was only 17 years old.

“I’m not,” she said.

Bruce nodded. “I did speak with your mother and she said they would support any decisions you made. Additionally your future children will have a second parent involved and we’ll need to identify who that is, if we’re to have all the information available to us to help solve the mystery they present to us.”

“We could probably tell you all that,” the male teen, McGinnis the girl had called him, offered to them. “Marinette, future Marinette that is, had all the kids tested to identify the bio dad because they would have unique family medical histories depending on who they are.”

“Very well,” Bruce acknowledged, “but the testing will still need to be done to verify and to be put in the records.”

“Okay,” Marinette agreed.

“Let’s begin from oldest to youngest. Can you give us your names and ages. Then the names of parents,” Bruce said and looked at the two teens.

“Oldest would be me,” the boy said, “I’m Terry McGinnis, 17 years old. My mom and dad are Warren and Mary McGinnis. There’s more to process with my genetic information but that’s something I’d prefer to go over later B-Man.” He finished with a significant look at Bruce.

Bruce nodded before turning to the girl.

“Helena Wayne, 15 years old, daughter of Bruce Wayne and his wife Selina Kyle. Hiya dad,” she finished with an impish grin at the shocked man.

“Let’s get the rest of you done in batches,” Dick tried to pick up where Bruce had stopped in his shock. He looked at the kids with Nino.

“Dahlia Lahiffe, 13 years old, my mom and dad are Alya Cesaire and Nino Lahiffe. My sisters are Lacy and Julie Lahiffe, 7 years old, their parents are Stacey and Nino Lahiffe.”

“I break up with Alya?” Nino asked.

“Mr. Lahiffe, it’s difficult to say what the future holds. Even with these children here in front of us, it’s possible that their very presence has changed our futures and what happened to result in their world may not happen in ours,” Bruce finally pulled himself out of his shock and addressed Nino’s question. “The best thing we can do is to live our lives the best we can.”

Nino nodded before attention turned to Nathanial who in turn looked at his little girl.

“Mary Kurzberg. I’m 4,” she said holding up five fingers. “This is my daddy,” She added hugging Nathaniel. “I don’t know where my papa is.”

“Is this him,” Nathaniel asked showing her a picture on his phone.

“Papa!!” The little girl exclaimed holding his phone and hugging it.

“It’s a picture of my boyfriend, Marc Anciel,” He told them. “He hadn’t shown up to the picnic yet when the kids appeared. I can text him to meet us here.”

“Please.” Bruce said.

“I guess that leaves you munchkins,” Alix said looking at the boys with her.

“I’m Rolland Kubdel. I’m eight years old,” one said.

“I’m Theo Kubdel and I’m six years old,” the younger one interrupted.

“I’m talking poop head,” the older boy said hitting his younger brother on the arm.

“Ow,” the younger yelled, “mama Rolland hit me.”

“Stop it. Didn’t we go over this in the car downstairs,” Alix asked, “no hitting each other.”

“And your parents,” Bruce asked getting the kids back on track.

“William and Alix Gavroche,” the older finished.

“Okay, that leaves you and your group, Marinette.” Bruce turned attention to their group.

Marinette blushed because she had some suspicions based on how the kids interacted with their future adults what their responses would be but listened as the oldest girl interrupted.

“You should do Sakura first. It’s only her and her mom’s. We have a lot more in our family.”

The adults agreed and turned to the little girl.

“My names Sakura Bourgeois-Tsurugi. I’m six years old and my mothers are Chloe Bourgeois-Tsurugi and Kagami Tsurugi-Bourgeois.” She frowned thoughtfully at her mom, “I don’t know who my dad is.”

“You’ll want to test me just in case,” Adrian said, “but I don’t think it would have been kept from her if I was the donor.”

Chloe nodded in acknowledgement of his words but didn’t add anything.

“We haven’t ever heard anything about her dad,” Terry said, “just that Kagami and Chloe are her moms and that Chloe was the one that was pregnant.”

“And we’ve spent three weeks every year during the summer holidays at their madhouse since I was seven,” Helena added. “That was a fun year too, since both Marinette and Chloe were pregnant.”

“We’ll test just in case but we’ll rely on the two of you to make decisions based on the information we have,” Bruce made a note in the file he created for the girl.

“I’m Emilie Kent. Ten years old, and the eldest of Marinette Dupain-Cheng-Couffaine-Wayne and Adrian Kent.”

Adrian was pleasantly surprised at the information that this was his daughter by blood and that he and Jon would be married in the future. Jon looked confused by her introduction though he was a bit happy about Adrian marrying him too.

“I’m Thomas Couffaine-Wayne. I’m the 8 year old son of Damian, Luka and Marinette.” The boy said with a stubborn cross of his arms.

“Damian’s his bio dad but he’s always been pretty stubborn about the fact that he has two dad’s,” Terry said.

“Shut it, McGinnis,” Thomas turned on the older boy.

“Make me, kitten,” Terry said tauntingly to the smaller boy.

Marinette pushed the small boy back into his chair when he growled and stood up. She didn’t feel like separating them if they did actually get into a fight like she’d seen Damian and Jason do on occasion.

“I’m Emma Couffaine-Wayne,” one of the twin girls said next.

“And I’m Jane Couffaine-Wayne,” the other girls said.

“And we’re 6 years old,” they finished together.

When they didn’t say anything else the adults looked at Terry and Helena.

“Luka and Marinette,” Helena answered.

“I’m Guy, and I’m five years old. Mama is my mama and Baba, Dad, Papa Adrian and Papa Luka are my dads.”

“Guillaume Kent. Jon and Marinette,” Terry inserted before the adults could ask.

“And last is little Louis Couffaine-Wayne, he turned two a month ago and he’s biologically Luka and Marinette’s,” Helena answered for the baby who was really too young to say much of anything understandable.

Bruce finished the last of the notes before putting the paperwork aside.

“The next steps are going to depend on what you agree to,” he started. “The League are going to need to see the kids to do their tests and to ask additional questions but that will be in the smaller familial groupings and will take a day to get through all the children that have arrived here in the present.

“They are setting up quarters for the future children to stay in while they are in the current time. Whether you stay with them or just arrange to visit them while they are here is up to you. It is inadvisable for them to go to your current homes because of the circumstances of their presence here in their past present to them.

“If something should happen then most medical personnel would not believe that you have the rights to approve treatments. Additionally if any currently active villain somehow got ahold of them they would again be in distress as because they theoretically do not exist yet.

“Yes they are here. We can see them and talk to them, but legally, they are non-entities and we can’t change that.”

“What are you recommending sir,” Nino asked.

“The League wants to take responsibility for the children while they are here to protect them. There are a few secure locations that the children can stay at and visitation can be arranged or if you prefer it can be arranged for you to stay with them.”

“I think I’ll stay with them sir,” Nino said and looked at his oldest girl. She smiled at him which he returned.

“Me too, but could Marc stay as well,” Nathaniel asked.

Bruce nodded. “If he wishes to of course.”

“I’ll stay as well,” Alix sighed with an exasperated smile. “Someone is going to need to keep these two from killing each other,” she said as she broke up yet another silent fight between the boys.

Chloe and Kagami were quietly conversing with Sakura so attention turned to Marinette, Luka, Damian, Adrian and Jon.

Damian was quick to insert, “Couldn’t we arrange for this group to stay with us at the manor father? It’s as safe as any of the houses that the League has available and I think they’d be more comfortable in familiar quarters.”

Several ‘Please grandpa’s’ followed his suggestion from the kids before he added, “And I think Ms. Bourgeois, Ms Tsurugi and their daughter might be more comfortable there as well.” When little Sakura had started pleading to grandpa right along with the Bugs.

“We’ll speak with the League and if Marinette and the others agree, I won’t mind hosting them,” Bruce answered to the children’s cheers.

What I’d like out of the next ML season is a few things

Good Lukanette/adrigami content

Each ship realizing that they were better as friends. I want this to happen at different times so marinette doesn’t just tuck back to Adrian.

Also want it to happen first because I want marinette to start seeing Adrian as more human (and maybe start noticing some similarities to a certain cat boy)

Adrian and Marinette being best friends

Chat visiting Marinette because I’m Marichat trash (and because I want them to slowly start falling for what I think I’d the more real versions of each other. Each side of them is THEM but marinette and chat are less perfect)

A reveal because Mari is the guardian now and I think she needs to know who chat is and vise versa

No immediate relationship, but a strong ass bond

I want something bad to almost happen to both of them and it clicks for them “I love them”

And that’s about it. Probably won’t happen. I don’t know how they will end the lukanette and adrigami but since the square is endgame it’ll happen sometime. I think those friendships are good for them so I don’t want it to be a bad breakup. I kinda like the Lukagami ship. I’d like to see them interact more to see if they’d be a good pair.

@annoyinglyshinycherryblossom re-opened my door of Miraculous Ladybug ships and I for one realized I haven't really did art so

But there's the main ship I do love a lot I want to go back fleshing out AND a new ship that I had hidden for three to four whole years~

Marionette x Adrian x Kagami x Luka is the main poly ship I will FIGHT until my final breath is a thing, I know the newer seasons lowkey ruined it but I'm willing to start up my MLB re-write series kind of in the universe of that one stormy fic I did of them on here, here it is btw

BUT!

Marionette x Adrian x Kagami x Luka WITH Nathaniel x Marc

HERE ME OUT BEFORE THE ARGUMENTS HAPPEN!

I had a very old poly ship years ago in season 1 grounds with Adrian, Marinette, and Nathaniel as I thought the ship was really cute. Then Luka came around, than Kagami, then Marc and I kind of just lowkey abandoned ship and it honestly broke my heart I started to heavily ship them away but over time after Hero's Day Part 2 I kind of had a random brain bubble of "Wouldn't it be lowkey cute if Nathaniel and Marc join the ship mobile?"

The season 3 happened and I kind of got sidetracked of my actual OT4 happen and in random I drew a bunch of old doodles I will NOT show of this OT6 in-between ships

I really want to flesh this ship out a bit and if you don't like it or the OT4 then by all means you don't have to, but I would really like some asks related to this ship and possibly today and tomorrow I'll draw a bunch more of them with the fanart winner of the poll, maybe some fics and headcanons of my own, and at one point I even will try and plan out how to show off some ideas for my MLB re-write!

I have just watched the Miraculous Ladybug season 3 finale and I have got no words. To be honest, I'm quite disappointed because of the 'huge' change at the end of the episode. I claim that Marinette and Adrien is the perfect couple/duo etc. even if I think that Luka is cute ( I wouldn't like to talk about Kagami, she's just ehh for me). So I hope that their love interests will change during the 4th season, because they simply belong together.

Quiet Warmth

Genderbend: Michelle, Ariel, Tonya, Loyde, Kage (Marinette, Adrian, Tom Dupan, Lila, Kagami)

Michelle is up at 5 in the morning baking bread. His friend and pseudo-adopted daughter, Ariel, has a fencing match today and he wanted to make her a snack.

He fills some of the croissants with chocolate and some with raspberry cream.

“Son, you’re up early? Are those croissants?”, his mother perks up from where she was at the door.

She tries to take one but he snatched the tray away. He waves his finger at her in a light hearted manner.

“Mama, no! This is for your granddaughter. She has a match today.”, he chastised.

“Awe.. I want to make her something too. Mind if I help?”, his mama said.

“You’re help is a blessing in the kitchen mama.”, he said.

They spend the next hour making a entire meal and then some for their most precious member of the family.

“Be honest, if she was my sister she’d be your favorite. I mean, she’d be my favorite too if she was.”, joked Michelle.

“Oh sweet tart, I could never take her a way from you. She’s your kid, you claimed her.”, said his mama.

“Nina would argue that she saw her first.”, said Michelle.

“Then we’d have a duel on our hands.”, his mama lifts up a controller.

“That reminds me, tell papa that I need to borrow the motor bike tomorrow. I have a few commissions that live on the other side of the city.”, he said.

“Sure thing, my sweet tart.”, his mama said.

Michelle arrives to school on time as usual. He walks up stairs, but halfway up he bumps into the guy that’s getting on his nerves more than Cecile ever did, Loyde.

“Hey careful!”, said Michelle.

“Oh, I’m so sorry! I didn’t see there, you just look so natural in the background; but I’m not saying you look plain or anything! Really!”, said Loyde.

Michelle huffed and gave a half glare. Loyde sneers at him. Michelle walks a way with Loyde still sneering he may have also looked at his butt. Loyde may have height, but he doesn’t look terrifying when he’s angry or hot.

Michelle looks for his daughter and finds her talking to Nina. Ariel notices him then and quickly ends her conversation.

The seating arrangements changed some time ago. Ariel now sits in the middle with Rain. Michelle sits across from them and next to Julien.

(Nino - Nina, Chloe - Cecile, Rose - Rain, Juleka- Julien)

“Michy! Is that for me? Are you coming to my match?”, asked Ariel as she jumps in excitement.

“Yes to everything.”, said Michelle.

Later that day, Ariel and Michelle are in the school courtyard. Michelle sits on a bench as he watches Ariel practices her forms.

He joined by Kage, a new friend and a member of the fencing team. Kage has confessed to both Michelle and Ariel and has been rejected by both at the same time.

Kage holds Michelle’s hand without a word. Michelle glances at their hands for a moment. Kage has a light blush.

“Are you ready?”, asked Michelle.

“Yes, I will win… May I have a good luck kiss?”, asked Kage.

“No, but you can have a pat on the shoulder.”, said Michelle.

Kage casually accepts and goes to correct Ariel’s form. Michelle still has a subtle, warm tingle on his hand. He resists the urge to touch his hand.

Kage and Ariel pretend they don’t see him smile into his other hand. Ariel goes through the motions with Kage. Michelle is no longer paying attention.

“I’m saying it now, the answers no.”, muttered Ariel.

“You don’t know that.”, Kage changes her stance.

“You know he’s afraid.”, said Ariel.

“I will conquer that fear.”, said Kage.

“Just like you’ll conquer him?”, accuses Ariel.

“Ari, please don’t misunderstand. He is not an object to me. It’s not a game for me to win, you know I take everything seriously.”, said Kage.

“Chances are, you’ll be my brother.”, said Ariel.

“If it is so, I will accept, but as it is now… I have an odd. The odds are not big, but it is there.”, said Kage.

“We will see then.”, said Ariel.

They finish their warm ups and the matches begin. They sit next to Michelle when it’s not their turn.

Kage and Ariel comment and take notes as Michelle listens in between them. Then it’s Kage’s turn, Michelle and Ariel giggle and point out things they’ve noticed. They share snacks.

Ariel’s turn comes and Kage takes his place next to Michelle. Ariel puts all her focus on her opponent.

Kage entwines his pinkie with Michelle’s. Then they exchange glances. Michelle turns a light red.

In the silence, Michelle leaned his head closer to Kage’s shoulder. Kage makes a quiet swallow.

“Ariel’s gotten much better.”, whispered Michelle.

“She trained diligently, it was no surprise.”, said Kage.

Michelle hummed as he caressed Kage’s hand with his thumb, their pinkies still locked.

“Kage…”, Michelle trailed off.

Kage braces himself, no hint of nervousness only acceptance.

“No flirting, courtship is saved for after all matches are over!”, interrupted a teacher.

Michelle’s lips begin to form a smug smile as he moves closer to Kage. His hand slipping to touch Kage’s cheek.

“Oh, like this?”, chirps Michelle mischievously.

A nearby student takes a dry spit in an attempt to stop them from bursting into a laugh. Another student did laugh and collapsed to the ground.

Ariel finished her match unaware of what led to her dad openly cuddling Kage, but the chaos it caused bring her joy.

“Well, now that we’re done- I won by the way- let’s get ice cream and pizza!”, exclaimed Ariel.

“But I made you lunch…..”, said Michelle.

“I never said I wasn’t going to eat it with the ice cream and pizza.”, reassured Ariel.

“Fine, but only if you can eat it all.”, said Michelle.

She could not eat it all. Kage and Michelle had to eat what she couldn’t.
