The Dragonsoul Amulet, which was thrown into a lava crevasse in the deepest dungeons of Moria in a hugely powerful ritual to destroy it for once and all— a ritual that apparently hasn't worked— is somehow not cursed anymore?” “We uncursed it! Promise!” Uraraka says.

Being the only normal person in a world full of magic can get a little troublesome, sometimes. But it's worth it in the end.

1. BNHA—Fuyukoto

Look, Fran basically already covered Tddk, and while they’re my OTP, this is the kayak I have built with my own two hands and I WILL get more people on board it if it’s the last thing I do. Have they met in canon? No! Do I still have shit to talk about? YOU FUCKING BET.

First off, they have the same goals for a relationship—on Fuyumi’s end, I think it’s pretty clear that what she wants is domestic stability. Makoto, meanwhile, has explicitly stated that her ideal partner is someone “ordinary”—someone down-to-earth and steady to balance out the glitz, glamour, and chaos of her professional life.

She’s also extremely assertive in a way that I think Fuyumi needs in her life—someone like Makoto backing her up would probably do her wonders. Plus, giving Endeavor a daughter-in-law who has blackmailed a pro hero and gotten away with it would simply be excellent.

Speaking of in-laws, this ship would also make Naomasa and Touya in-laws. This is objectively funny.

2. Free!—Reigisa

I have such a soft spot for these silly little guys. You know that one post about being a sitcom b-plot character? These two are the fun little b-plot romance to Makoharu’s pining and drama. I love how ridiculously persistent Nagisa was in getting Rei to join the swim club, and I love the scene where Rei scoffs at the idea of him being affected by “something as illogical as love” like it didn’t WORK.

They’re hilarious, they’re adorable, they’re opposites attract, they’re absolutely whipped for each other. I love them.

Also, the water gun fight. The fact that Nagisa successfully ambushed Rei, then proceeded to walk into the trap he’d set earlier, was comedy gold.

3. Lego Monkie Kid—Dragonfruit

I was on the fence about this one until the Samhedi Fire scene. Look, I’ve spent five years and counting in the Tddk community—you give me fire and an “It’s your power!” and I’m gone.

To be clear, when I say “on the fence” I mean I was deciding whether or not I shipped them—they were luring me in, that just sealed the deal. I love the scene were Red returns Mei’s dragon plushie, I love their dynamic in general, and the fact that they were cuddling after the battle got me in the heart.

I’m not as deep in this particular fandom, so I’ll leave it at that—they’re cute, they got me in my weak spot, I like them!

4. Fairy Tail—Nalu

Is it even really a meet-cute if you don’t end up running from the cops?

These two actually hold the honor of being my first anime ship—Fairy Tail was my gateway anime, and Nalu was my first ship from it (thanks, Faun on both counts!)

I like how there’s hints that they could be a couple right off the bat, like Natsu’s arrival snapping Lucy out of the love spell when none of the other girls under it were affected, but that it isn’t fully a romantic subplot immediately. The focus is more on developing their friendship, and even though they’re not together by the end of the original manga, there’s not any question of why they WOULD fall for each other at some point in the future. Time and time again, they’ve saved each other, been there for each other, and just enjoyed each other’s company. I like a good friends-to-lovers, what can I say.

Also: THE FUCKING TREE. NATSU UPROOTED A GIANT RAINBOW CHERRY TREE AND FLOATED IT DOWN THE RIVER JUST SO LUCY COULD SEE IT. THAT’S REALLY FUCKING CUTE OKAY. Especially because, for those unfamiliar, he did in fact put the tree back afterwards.

And finally:

5. Superwomen in Love—Honey Trap and Rapid Rabbit

This is mostly an excuse to talk about this manga, because it is a LESBIAN SUPERHERO ROMCOM and more people need to read it.

Honey Trap, a villain, defeats Rapid Rabit, the heroine, in battle, gleefully removes the helmet of her costume… and is immediately smitten. As a result, she lets her get away, gets kicked out of her villain org, and ends up as Rabbit’s roommate, because Rabbit is the sweetest person in existence.

Fun superhero battles ensue as they try to take down the villain organization Honey used to be part of, while meanwhile Honey tries her hardest to get Rabbit to fall for her, and there’s a healthy dose of “and they were ROOMMATES,” which is always a fun time! Plus, one thing I specifically like about this manga is that the fact that they’re gay is a complete non-issue—the only “how can two women—?” of any kind is when Rabbit is (understandably I think) baffled by a different lesbian couple in the story having what’s essentially a biological daughter.

Superwomen in Love!!! Go read it, it’s fun!!!

Shouto was a quiet person for the most part, which means people don’t always notice when he’s around. On the flip side, Shouto notices almost everything, though he doesn’t always understand it.

He enjoys going unnoticed because he enjoys people watching. For so many years his social life was limited to his father and his siblings, and even then it wasn’t a whole lot of contact. His father would train him, and Natsuo would sometimes try and help him heal up or maybe bring him some food. Fuyumi didn’t do much but sweep it all under the rug. So you could imagine why he likes seeing others interact, even when it’s not with him.

Bakugou Katsuki was his favorite to watch. From his past most would think that’s the opposite of what he would want, because he endured so much violence and aggression from his father. Shouto thought differently. His father wasn’t kind like Bakugou is. Bakugou may be aggressive, but he’s always taking care of everyone around him and Shouto found that interesting. Well, more like he found it interesting that others didn’t notice.

Shouto’s body clock always had him awake early, but not necessarily coherent. He’s been told he’s a zombie. But he goes downstairs nonetheless. He likes to get food before the kitchen is crowded, so more often than not he ends up sitting at the counter quietly while Bakugou cooks. He’s always in the kitchen at this time and he always makes food for more than one. Bakugou is silent in the mornings, when he cooks. He never said a word and Shouto assumed he didn’t notice him. Until one morning when Shouto came downstairs a little later than usual.

Shouto walked through the kitchen and to the pantry when he heard a quietly grumbled, “No.”

He turned to see that the voice had come from Bakugou. He just looked at him confused but Bakugou stared intently at his task over the stove, before he lifted an arm to point at the counter. He was pointing at the spot Shouto usually sat, and instead of it being empty he saw that there was a plate of already prepared food for him. He opened and closed his mouth, searching for words but didn’t need to speak before Bakugou told him to, “Shut up.”

So Shouto did as he was told and quietly walked over to his seat and began eating. It was the only change in their normal morning routine, the two of them continued to sit there in silence until the rest of their classmates filtered in.

That was the first time one of Bakugou’s good deeds was directed towards him.

The next morning he came downstairs on time, but Bakugou still made food for him. Shouto didn’t ask why.

This continued for a long time, and became their new routine. One day, after Shouto had pulled an all-nighter studying for a test he wasn’t entirely confident on, he finally asked Bakugo, “Why?”

This was the only time Bakugou’s eyes ever left his task. He looked Shouto up and down before speaking, “You’re awake.” He seemed slightly surprised, but it didn’t show in his tone.

“I usually am.” Shouto said plainly, as he walked to his seat and picked up his chopsticks.

“Bullshit,” Bakugou scoffed, “You’re never this fucking coherent in the mornings.” His eyes remained attached to the stove once again, and Shouto found himself longing to look into them.

They continued their morning in silence once again.

After this day, Shouto found that watching Bakugou had become another part of his routine. Especially when they had time to themselves, which, in a dorm filled with so many other students, is hard to come by.

Shouto would sometimes leave the building to escape the noise during the free time they would get, so he didn’t notice that Bakugou was never in the commons. He had assumed he would stay with his group, because as much as Bakugou pretends otherwise Shouto knows that he enjoys being with his friends.

So the next time Shouto spent his break outside, he went on a little search for Bakugou. If you were to ask him then he wouldn’t have said he was looking for bakugou, as it wasn’t a conscious decision. But when he moved around the outside of the building to the back, he found Bakugou sitting on a little porch he’d never seen before with a book in his hand. As he got closer he recognized the title as a popular Manga that he’d read himself not long ago.

Shouto approached the porch and just sat down next to bakugou. “I liked that book.”

Bakugou turned to him, “what the fuck are you doing here icy hot.”

“Sitting”

“No shit,” Bakugou growled, “Why are you here.”

Bakugou seemed more tense than usual and Shouto came to the conclusion that he was trying not to blow up the book.

“Do you want me to hold that for you?” Shouto spoke

“Why the hell would i-” Bakugou stopped short, exhaling and letting his head fall back against the wall.

“You look tense. I figured the reason you set off so many explosions when you’re worked up is to let off some of that pent up energy.” Shouto spoke as if this was common knowledge, “And i think you don’t want to do that cause it’d ruin the book, so i’m offering to hold it for you.”

Bakugou stared at him for a moment, not saying anything. He was amazed at Shouto’s ability to just know things and say them out loud like it’s nothing. He just said what he thought and saw nothing wrong with it. It was something Bakugou admired, and at this point he was too tired to filter his own speech. It’s not like Shouto would care anyway. “What are you doing here?” he asked.

“It's loud inside, I'm usually outside.” Shouto explained simply, “I just decided to look for a different place to sit this time.” He searched Bakugou’s eyes and found he wasn’t able to read anything, as the blonde boy didn’t want him to.

Bakugou allowed him to search his eyes. If it was anyone else he would have already started yelling, but there was something different about Shouto. He didn’t follow him around like he worshiped him, but he didn't look down on him. He was just there doing his own thing. It wasn’t what he was used to, and he’d never admit it, but he liked it. The silent respect that shouto showed him was something altogether different.

“You’re staring at me.” Shouto spoke, once again plain and honest.

“Really? I thought I was staring at a toad,” Bakugou rolled his eyes.

The corner of shouto’s mouth quirked up, “How come I'm the one with a resting bitch face and you’re the one with an attitude.”

Bakugou froze for a moment. He doesn’t think he’d ever heard Shouto’s curse. He almost laughed, but stopped when he caught shouto’s eyes again. This time he was running them over every visible inch of Bakugou’s body.

Bakugou, not being a dumbass, raised an eyebrow.

“Don’t worry, you’re still a Pretty Boy.”

A search tip for the rair-pairers out there on ao3. Use "search within results" and search for one of the ship in the summary. E.g. summary: Fuyumi. (and yes you might have to go through various first names, last names, nicknames, superhero names, etc.). Generally, I have found (for non-main character ships) that you are much less likely to get the ship as an aside if one of the characters is actually mentioned in the summary.

Another fic rec list

This started as a rec list for “well-written fics with feral characters”. It kinda got out of control, and I started questioning “what even counts as feral in a characterization sense”, but hopefully some of these hit the mark. They are all fics that I love a lot and recommend more generally! All of these are gen and mostly rated T, unless noted otherwise:

A Dark Night in Ba Sing Se: ATLA, 20k words, first arc complete, on hiatus. Zuko gets arrested for taking the guard’s swords when he fought Jet at the tea shop, but he will not stay arrested, and further shenanigans ensue. Sweet, funny, excellent characterization, many delightful OC’s that really fill out the world of Ba Sing Se.

Towards the Sun – ATLA, 57k words, first arc complete, on hiatus. Same author as the previous (muffinlance). Zuko becomes firelord in rather worse circumstances than canon. TBH the “feral” part doesn’t really come in until near the end, when it turns out that trying his hardest isn’t enough, so he tries something else. Same author as the above, with really excellent characterization, a humorous kind of narration that will keep you laughing through the tension and heartbreak. Beware the angst in the middle but it gets better!

There May Be Some Collateral Damage – Bleach & HP, 60k words, complete. Ichigo is sent to bodyguard Harry for the 5th year, everything is delightfully chaotic and hilarious.

“I don’t take things from people,” Ichigo corrects her indignantly. “I mean, sometimes I chop them up and set them on fire, but I don’t take them. Stealing is wrong.”

Trust Me, I’m an Alchemist – FMA & YOI, 55k words, complete. Also by metisket. What if everyone in Yuri!!! On Ice had to deal with Elrics instead of Yuri Plisetsky? The answer is mafia connections and secondhand trauma but also more friendship and general shenanigans! Incredibly crack-y premise and the beginning to set it up is a bit weird and confusing but I promise the rest of the fic is 100% worth it. So funny, so wonderful, I re-read my favorite bits of this at least once a week. Technically lots of shipping (this is YoI after all) but it’s all played for laughs/characterization, not particularly romantic. I would post a favorite quote like for the above but I couldn’t choose just one.

Play it again – Teen Wolf (but no familiarity required), 63k words, complete. Same author as the previous two (metisket). Dimension-Travel fix it, Stiles is 200% chaotic but he has a plan and it’s gonna work. The Hale family is alive and so much fun, especially Laura. Also very funny, some romance at the very end but it’s pretty low-key.

What Goes Around – Teen Wolf, 71k words, complete. Kate kills Sheriff Stilinksy as well as the Hales, so Stiles and Peter team up to take out hunters like her in revenge. Unlike most of my other recs, this one is not funny, but it is interesting, and while they’re very methodical about it I think the way it handles “serial killers hunting serial killers” definitely counts as feral. Also this one is rated M rather than T and has Stiles/Derek at some point but I forgot the details.

Subject: A Comprehensive Report – BNHA, 83k words, updates very sporadically. Izuku remains quirkless but becomes the scariest damn researcher. I would call this “feral about investigating.” I love the multi-media formatting of this work and the expansive, in-depth worldbuilding the author contributes to explain how the hero system of canon came to be.

Something Borrowed – BNHA, 130k words, abandoned (for now at least). AFO!Izuku, who personality-wise is pretty nice, but when he goes all-out with his quirk he goes all out. I REALLY love the creativity the author brings to exploring and combining quirks, and how the characters work together to figure these things out.

Mr. and Mrs. Todoroki’s Excellent Day at Hero-Con – BNHA, 5k words, complete. I love “hero cosplays at fancon, trolls fans” as a story genre, and for some reason I haven’t really seen that outside of BNHA? Anyways this is one of the most chaotic and fun versions of this. Features Izuku and Uraraka trolling the entire world and especially Todoroki with utter panache. It’s Izuku/Ochako/Shotou but the shipping is pretty low-key.

Looping Back to the Beginning – BNHA, 10k words, complete. Class 1-A is caught in a time loop so they have fun with it. Featuring pranks, taunting villains, general shenanigans. Probably more “chaotic” than “feral”, but it’s a lot of fun!

Yesterday Upon the Stairs – BNHA, 424k words, complete. Look if you read BNHA fics you don’t need me to tell you about this fic, but suffice to say I think it’s status as the most-read English language work on AO3 is entirely deserved. Izuku is particularly feral in Ch. 7-9 (USJ attack), Ch. 26-27 (final exam), Ch. 34-40 (Kamino Ward), Ch. 50-end (Nighteye internship – esp. 57-59 for the showdown with Overhaul).

Twin Swap – BNHA, 55k words, two complete arcs. Fuyumi and Touya get body-swapped, shenanigans ensue. This is funny and cracky and endearing and more towards “found family feels” than feral escalation, but I’m putting it on here b/c Fuyumi is so done with everyone’s shit, and Dabi is, well, Dabi. Background Dabi/Hawks and Fuyumi/Miruko.

Abolish Private Property - Naruto, 27k words, sporadic updates. “The raging communist SI/OC that no one asked for, or really, deserves.” It’s, uh, very cracky but pretty funny. TBH I much more enjoy the sister fic Sanitize but that is the opposite of feral. Yui suffers no fools but she’s here to bring the wonders of modern medicine (what she can of it) to a preindustrial society wracked by war.

Several Yelp! Reviews of the Bridge~Port Brew Pub – Leverage, 900 words, complete. Parker is just always feral but this is my favorite Leverage fic, it’s fun!!

…and I didn’t end up with any FMA recs on here did I? woops. Uh, I recommend going through metisket’s and silentwalrus’ author pages, they both write great ridiculous Elrics. Mind the tags.

How Synonym and "Background" Tags Work

Ok so, let's look at Fuyumi as our example

Let's say, hypothetically, you like Fuyumi, but are sick of all the fics in her tag barely having her in it. You tell others to just use the "Background Fuyumi" character tag, so you can filter it out. You, my dear reader, would be wrong- that will not help you see filter it. It may help you in other ways, if you go to the fuyumi tag, scroll through stories and see the ones with that Background Fuyumi character tag so you can ignore them, but it won't do more than that. But what can you do?

I'll answer that with some tag diving.

Wow, now we're in the tag information page!

Look at all that information.

Ok, you see that "tag with the same meaning" thing?

See the "Todoroki Fuyumi (Mentioned)" tag on the list? Let's click it.

Ah, another tag information page- but it tells us that all fics with this character tag will show up in the main Fuyumi character tag. These are synonym tags! And we cannot use the filters to separate them!

The same holds for ship tags. If an author specifies in the relationship tag that it's background, it'll still show up in the main ship tag- or it will, when the tag wranglers add it to the synonym tag list.

This isn't to say an author shouldn't use the relationship tag place to mention that its minor, but it is to say that it won't let you filter. It can still be useful, but not for that.

But is there a way to let you filter? Yes.

The freeform tags, which authors will know as the "additional tags" section.

Let's go to the "tag search" under the search drop-down in the tool bar

And let's just look at Fuyumi tags that aren't relationship or character tags, because now we know that those are all linked together

So the tags in bold are considered "canonical tags", which means you can filter with them. The nonbolded ones are 'unofficial tags'. You can do click each of them and see the list of works with that tag, but you can't filter them yet.

Let's click the checkmark by "canonical" so we can just see those. Now that we have the list of tags we can filter with, look! A "Minor Furumi" tag, (and a "mentioned fuyumi" tag). These effectively say the same thing the background character or ship tags did... But they're not synonyms with the main character or ship tag! Let's click that minor furumi one.

If you click it, you see the tag information page, just like the other tags. If you click on "works"... You can see the list like the others too!

Look at that, how nifty. So if this was your notp, you could filter out furumi in the ship tag AND minor furumi in the additional tags catagory, and you wouldn't see this fic or anything else on the list.

Now, here's another fic in this list of 31 fics in the minor furumi freeform tag:

It's got the tag in the ships and freeform section! That means if you wanted Furumi that wasn't in the background, and filtered out the minor furumi additional tag, this fic wouldn't show up!

Now, what should you do with this information? Whatever you want, but please recognize that this means that telling someone to put "minor/mentioned/background/implied" in the ship tag will not let you filter it out! It'll give you more information when you're scrolling, but that's it!

If you are a reader and you want to avoid more of the "background" stuff for your favorites character or your notp, you do have other options than just filtering out the freeform tags.

You can use the "otp:true" method in search to only get fics tagged with your ship, or the "Character-centric" freeform tag to get works the author says is all about that character.

Writers, you have options too!

1- you can just put "background" in the ship or character tag, aknowledge that it will come up in the main one, and decide that you are alright with that because you informed the readers beforehand that it would be in the background.

2- you can just put the "background" in the freeform tags, aknowledge that this means people in the main tag will not see your work, but you're alright with that because that's probably not the audience you were looking for anyway and if anyone super doesn't want to see that character or ship at all, you did inform them beforehand they'd be there in the background.

3- you can put the "background" stuff in both the ship or character tags AND the additional/freeform tags. This will allow your works to show up in the main tag but also be filtered if readers so choose. Since writers may consider this the best of both worlds. It does mean using more tags though, so whether you decide to or not may depend on how many other tags you're already using.

4- you can use the additional tag "character-centric" or "ship-centric" to clarify who the story is mostly about. The more writers use these, the more helpful it is for readers- the same applies to any of the freeform tags. More usage means more likely to be canonized, and more readers figuring out how they work. But if you don't want to, that's fine, you're a writer and not a contractually obligated tag promoter. Use what you want.

That said 1- you better tag warnings properly or use the ‘chose not to use warnings’, and 2- don't mix platonic and romantic ships in a single tag they literally do not work that way

Ships visualizations on AO3 (BNHA)

I wanted to visualize what are the most popular ships on ao3 and in general how the works are distributed, so I collected some simple ao3 data as a start. I definitely will try and look more into it, but for now this is some preliminary stuff.

There are 164620 works on ao3 in the BNHA fandom and this data has been collected the 7 April 2021.

All the numbers are in percentages.

Almost half of the stories are in the M/M category, as expected by a Shounen anime. F/M fanfics and Gen fanfics have comparable numbers, with F/F having the least amount of fanfics (just 6.01%)

The first 10 most popular ships are nothing unexpected, but keep in mind that many of these ships have such high numbers because often tagged as secondary ships. I’ll add something more about this when checking the F/M fanfics, but just know that here Izuocha is the most popular F/M ship, but mainly because it is tagged alongside other ships (probably M/M, and probably as a secondary ship of the story).

Top 3 ships overall: Bakudeku is the most popular ship in ao3, with 21% of the fics in the top 10 ships category, followed by KiriBaku and Tododeku.

(click here for bigger pic) When comparing the whole of the BNHA works (164620), Bakudeku is the tag in 22914 of them (1.39% of the total BNHA works, and still the biggest ship).

When investigating only M/M ships I selected for the M/M tag and then taken out (EXCLUDE) all ships that did not fall in the category, until I could list only M/M ships.

The top 10 M/M ships are distributed as such:

You can see here the percentage on the total of the works tagged for one or more of these 10 ships. Bakudeku is confirmed as the most popular M/M ship and there is no big surprise here, but half the fanfics are composed of ~ Bakudeku, KiriBaku and Todobaku.

The top 10 F/F ships are distributed as such:

In this case, MomoJirou counts for almost half these top 10 F/F’s fanfics alone (44%). So there is a lot less variety than F/F. It is also pretty interesting to see that Miruko/Fuyumi is among these 10 F/F ships, even if the characters never interacted.

The top 10 F/M ships are distributed as such:

Kacchako, Izuocha and Todomomo takes a little more than half of all the top 10 F/M ships. Admittedly I was pretty surprised KamiJirou is just 10% of F/M top 10 fanfics.

Now, there is another surprising percentage here, which is the flip between Kacchako and Izuocha. In the general top 10 fanfics, we have Izuocha being the most popular F/M ship, while here we have Kacchako at 29% (of the top 10 most popular F/M ships) and Izuocha at 22%.

Looking into this, I went to the tag IZUOCHA. There are 5435 works. A quick glance at the first page confirms that some of these works have Izuocha as one of the many side ships, instead of a main ship. This might be one of the reasons for this discrepancy.

I was a bit curious to see how many “single ship” fics are there and what is the difference between ships that are tagged only Izuocha or only Kacchako. I checked these two ships and excluded all other ships, so I went to look at the pure numbers of fics with Izuocha as the only ship tag or Kacchako as the only ship tag. I continued until I encountered an error, so this is an estimate that could have +/- 6 (mostly related to non BNHA ships from crossovers).

The results are Izuocha 1392 fanfics and Kacchako 2458. I think this confirms that Kacchako is the most popular F/M fics.

READER/BNHA CHARACTER

There are also a bunch of fics dedicated to ships/interactions between the reader (a self insert character) and BNHA characters. To check the percentages within the top 10 of these reader ships I checked the tag “Reader”.

Bakugou is the most popular character in these Reader/character ship, followed by Hawks (11.03%), then Aizawa and Todoroki with minimal differences.

I was wondering if this follows the order of popular characters in general, but it looks like while the TOP 10 for the Reader/Characters are: Bakugou Katsuki/Reader (1580 = this is the total number of fics) Takami Keigo | Hawks/Reader (811) Aizawa Shouta | Eraserhead/Reader (788) Todoroki Shouto/Reader (784) Dabi (My Hero Academia)/Reader (762) Midoriya Izuku/Reader (714) Kirishima Eijirou/Reader (527) Shigaraki Tomura | Shimura Tenko/Reader (465) Yagi Toshinori | All Might/Reader (462) Shinsou Hitoshi/Reader (457)

The TOP 10 characters in general actually are: Midoriya Izuku (83020) Bakugou Katsuki (79728) Todoroki Shouto (49553) Kirishima Eijirou (44463) Aizawa Shouta | Eraserhead (40874) Uraraka Ochako (33438) Kaminari Denki (30907) Yagi Toshinori | All Might (27666) Ashido Mina (22905) Dabi | Todoroki Touya (16894)

The main difference is definitely Hawks who is a popular character, but not popular, but is not as “ship popular” as other characters, while still being incredibly popular in the reader/hawks category. I suspect this might be because of the influence of Yagami Yato’s popularity.

Learning to Let Loose

Rating: T Paring: Fuyumi/Tensei Summary: In the aftermath of the war, Todoroki Enji is doing his best to put the pieces of his disheveled country back together, but as it always has, his family has suffered for his work as a Hero. Tired, confused, and sticking around out of obligation, Fuyumi doesn't know who or what to turn to when she finally seeks out the support she's been giving to everyone else for years. Enter Iida Tensei: a forcefully retired Hero who has quite a few things to say about his own family's secrets. Author's Notes: This fic is a gift for my very good friend who has galaxy brained ideas about basically every fandom they're in and BNHA is no exception. I never put a lot of thought into how icky the Iida family probably is when it comes to high-expectations placed on their sons and how their family is DEFINITELY a bunch of Quirk breeders until Jas sat down and started talking to me about it. And they REALLY wanted Fuyumi and Tensei to sit down and talk about it. I gotta say, I never really thought of these two as a ship before but writing this was a LOT of fun and the dynamic, especially post-war, is peak. I really had a lot of fun writing this. I probably should have gotten an earlier start to be able to make it longer or a little bit more detailed, but Jas, I hope you love it anyways, and I hope the rest of you enjoy it too!
