Tumblr media
Being Tony Stark's daughter really did have it’s perks, one of them using your superior intelligence to build anything that your heart desired. You usually built things to help your boyfriend, Elijah, defeat his enemies. He always knew you were something special but he didn’t quite understand until he seen you one day in your dads lab working with JARVIS.
“JARVIS, bring up the blueprint.” You sat on the edge of the table, just like your dad does, and studied the design you had created. You then moved that away with your hands to bring up a template of a vest that would protect Elijah against the White Oak Stake. You planned to make more to protect the rest of the Mikaelsons if you were able to actually successfully make it.
Elijah rolled up to the mansion and politely knocked on the door, expecting to see your beautiful face when the door opened, but no answer came. He cocked his head to the side confusingly before taking the spare key you gave him and unlocked the door. “Y/N? Where are you?” Elijah closed the door behind him and walked through the mansion and stopped at the stairs leading to the basement when he heard your voice coming from below.
He slowly descended the stairs, stopped halfway and smiled when he seen you working with the AI. He always knew that you had a special knack with technology but he hadn’t put the pieces together until now, you were Tony Stark’s daughter. An idea struck him hard so Elijah abandoned the surprise plans he had for you, went back up the stairs and set to work on his new idea.
----------------------
You got a call a couple of days later. Looking at your phone, you smiled when Elijah’s name lit up the screen. “Hi, stranger. I hadn’t heard from you properly for a few days. I was beginning to get worried about you.” A small chuckle came from the other end, causing your smile to widen. “You can’t get rid of me that easily, my love. I do have something for you though.” “And what would this surprise be, Mr Mikaelson?” “Come over here and I’ll show you.”
Saying your goodbyes, you quickly ran to get your keys before leaving a note for your dad. He always worried when he came home and you weren’t there. Being a world famous superhero, he had a lot of enemies and he always worried. Running towards your car, you turned the key in the ignition and started on your way.
The familiar lights of New Orleans lit up the street as you parked outside the Mikaelson house. Elijah, as always, was already outside waiting to greet you. You ran into his arms as you got out, inhaling his familiar scent of wood and whiskey. He nuzzled his nose into your neck and squeezed you tighter against his chest.
“I have missed you, Y/N. So much.” You looked up at him, pecking his lips. “So have I. Missed hearing your voice every few hours, nagging me to get away from the machines.” He chuckled and took hold of your hand, leading you inside.
The Mikaelson house wasn’t as big as the mansion but it was much better decorated. You knew that the Mikaelsons were more classy than your dad which allowed you to have a taste of both worlds. Elijah led you through the main hall towards a hidden door to the left. “Where are we going? I’ve never been through here before.” Your voice broke at the end of the sentence, causing Elijah to squeeze your hand comfortingly.
“Don’t worry, my love. What’s behind this door will make you happy beyond belief, I hope.” He opened the door and switched on the light before leading you down the stairs. Elijah stood at the bottom, stopping you from going any further. “Close your eyes for me.” You raised an eyebrow questioningly before slowly closing your eyes.
He led you into the room and stopped in the middle, making sure you weren’t peaking. He stood back and smiled. “Open your eyes, Y/N.” You didn’t expect what you seen when your eyes fluttered open. Elijah had managed to build you a lab, a whole lab, in the basement of his home. All of the up to date technology and machines were standing in front of you.
“You-you built me a lab?!” You looked over at him with tears in your eyes. He nodded his head. “Do you like it?” “Are you kidding? I love it!” You closed the distance between you both and placed your lips on his. “Thank you. But why?” “I seen you in your fathers lab a few days ago and you looked so happy, so at home, and I decided that you needed your own.”
A happy tear slid down your cheek. “This is the best thing that anyone has ever done for me. I finally have the means to finish the vest I’ve been working on.” You kissed him once more before getting to work, testing out all of the new gadgets whilst Elijah sat back and smiled, pleased that he had made you happy.

The Crossover
I have told this story only to one person before. Anyone else would think I was crazy. But you… I can trust you. I know you won’t tell a soul.
It all started with a severe case of burnout. Apparently, that is what is bound to happen when you are a medical professional working 20 hours a day during an epidemic. Or, the C-19 Pandemic. That’s what we called it back where I came from. Maybe I will tell you about that place one day. The bottom line is, we made it through somehow, even without insufficient funding and understaffed hospitals. It left me exhausted, both physically and mentally, unable to function properly, and so I was prescribed a lengthy leave of absence.
Remember when I told you stories about my Nana, the sweetest person in the entire world? She passed away sometime before the end of the pandemic, leaving me her little cottage. Her solicitor gave me a thick brown envelope with my name on it. Inside, there was a letter and a key. I had to blink away the tears, reading my Nana’s last words. Her farewell.
… this key. It opens the green door – the one I have never allowed you to open when you were a child. It was not your time yet. But now… you will know when the time comes. This is my last gift to you.
I will be watching over you, my dearest girl.
Your loving Nana Chiara
I knew exactly what door she spoke of. It was in the basement of her cottage and my 8-year-old self spent countless nights fantasising about what could be behind it. I looked at the large, heavy key in my hand. It was made of brass and felt ancient. A piece of green paper was attached to it with the word “The Crossover” written in Nana’s elegant hand.
You can probably guess what happened next. Roughly a week later, I found myself facing that green door, every fibre of my being pulling me towards it — and beyond. Since I took that key into my hand, strange dreams visited me every night. Dreams of people and places I had never seen before. They were accompanied by a strange feeling. It was as if something urged me to put the key into the lock and turn it.
It had to be then or never. My fingers tingled.
I don’t remember how the key found its way into the lock. The first thing I saw when the door opened was a large chamber carved out from stone. It looked like something out of a movie set in medieval times. On a beautifully carved canopy bed lay an impressively-looking man and around him, a number of people were gathered. Most of them looked like warriors, the others – like ancient sages. Most of them had lush beards. Some cried, some tried to help the man in the bed and stop the bleeding from a gaping wound in his chest. As soon as I saw it, my trauma team training kicked in. I grabbed my emergency backpack and crossed the threshold. I felt a pang of dizziness, but I ignored it. There was a life I had to save. I must have shouted something because all the men froze, wide-eyed, and some of them moved aside.
My hands worked as if I were in a trance. With his breathing stabilised, I performed an emergency surgery in a record time. I know you had problems sleeping last night, so I will spare you the details. This does not make for a good bedtime story, believe me. But don’t worry, this story has a happy ending.
“And a kiss?”
Yes, there will be a kiss too. I don’t remember how long it took, but when I finally managed to stop the bleeding and close the wound (thank heavens for my surgery tools), I was exhausted. A couple of those strange warriors helped me bandage the man, a large, grumpy-looking tattooed guy…
“Dwalin!”
Yes, that’s him! And the other one had a bushy red beard with golden beads.
“Glóin? Or Gimli?”
It was Glóin. Gimli arrived later. And then an elderly guy with a forked grey beard patted my shoulder and offered me rest and food.
“It has to be Balin! He always asks if I’m hungry.”
Right again! I was hungry too, but I refused. The patient had to be watched closely, so I stayed.
At last, I had a moment to look at his pale face. He had proud, handsome features, a noble, aquiline nose, pronounced eyebrows, and a short beard. The white pillows contrasted with his long, wavy hair. It was much darker than your hair and I wanted to run my fingers through it. It is funny what things you remember. It has been years and I still feel it as if it happened yesterday.
“And then? What happened later?”
After a week, I was sure that my patient – his companions called him Thorin – would return to full health. Would you believe that they were utterly shocked when I flat out refused to leave his bedchamber until he was well enough to sit up on his own? And when it happened and I was ready to leave him in the capable hands of one elderly gentleman called Óin, Thorin’s electric blue gaze rested on me. He asked me for the honour of my visit on the next day. Would you believe it? That stubborn oaf was barely alive and yet it didn’t stop him from being courteous and gallant. Ah, but it shouldn’t surprise you. You have probably already noticed it yourself. It’s the way he and his people were raised – every woman is treated with the utmost respect, no matter the circumstances. And so are you – but it is not only because of who you are. Anyway, I can’t say I was used to this kind of treatment… but that is a story for another time. Let me just tell you, since that day I checked on him every day. It was my professional duty, after all. Thorin has probably already told you that it was thanks to his charms, but in the beginning I treated him as if he was any other patient. Or at least that’s what I kept on telling myself.
“But what about the green door?”
That is a good question. I’m not sure about why and how it brought me here. I asked Balin about whether he saw the door, but he said that they had just seen the tapestry on the wall and nothing more. For him and the others, it looked as if I materialised in front of them. They thought that I was a wizard of some kind, Gandalf’s friend who came to help, and that was why they allowed me to treat their king. It took me a while to convince them I knew nothing about magic nor about the place I found myself at. And yes, this is the exact place where it happened. The Lonely Mountain. My new home. Our home.
I missed some parts of my old life, but at the same time, I finally felt I was at the right place. Somewhere I was meant to be. Yes, I know how funny it sounds. It took me a while to learn the ways of this strange, new world, but I had a good teacher. Thorin. I don’t know when I stopped thinking of him as a patient. He became my friend and guide into the Dwarvish culture. We would meet every other afternoon and spend time together. He even taught me Khuzdul. That is why I speak with the Ereborean accent, like you, and not with the Blue Mountains’ accent, like Bofur.
“Was that when you kissed for the first time? When you learned Khuzdul?”
No, not at all! We kissed much later. As I got to know Thorin better, I realised what a honourable Dwarf he was. Kind. Brave. But I think I fell in love with his sense of humour first. Either way, I couldn’t tell him about what I felt towards him. I kept quiet and pretended I wasn’t madly in love with him.
“Oh no! Why?”
He was the king. He was supposed to marry some noble Dwarf lady from far away and make her his queen. I was a nobody, I wasn’t even a Dwarf myself. The only thing I could do was to help Óin with the infirmary and exchange our medical knowledge. I thought that by working hard I would forget about my feelings.
Little did I know that Thorin had feelings towards me too, but he made himself busy with rebuilding his kingdom, thinking I was not interested in him. We even stopped seeing each other, except for official occasions. What a mess it was!
“So when did you kiss?”
We’re almost there! One day, I heard news that Thorin’s betrothal was cancelled. No one knew why. When I came home, there was a message waiting for me. Thorin wanted to meet me over a formal dinner. Just him and me. It had been a while since I saw him, so I was very nervous. When I came to his rooms, dressed in my best gown, when I saw him… I tried not to faint. He looked like the most handsome man in the world in his elegant royal robes. And he smiled softly with that little smile he has just for me. I somehow managed to not embarrass myself by fainting. We started talking and it was awkward at first, but then we eased back into our friendship.
“Was that when you kissed for the first time?”
You are an impatient one, aren’t you? I wonder who you got it from. Okay, okay, stop chuckling! Very well, I’ll tell you. Yes, it happened on that day. He told me he had missed me and when I admitted the same, he said: “I did not miss you only as a friend. What I feel for you is beyond friendship.”
I thought I was hallucinating when he explained that he refused to marry that lady who had been chosen for him because he loved someone else. Me.
“If you wish to remain friends, say only a word and I will never speak of my feelings again,” he said.
“Can I say four words?” I asked. He agreed.
“I love you too, Thorin,” I said.
“That was five words,” he replied with a smirk. And then…
“And then you kissed?”
Yes, then we kissed. And then he asked me to marry him. I was so happy! Thorin gave me this ring, yes, this one. He made it especially for me. Do you see the sapphires here? He said their colour reminded him of my eyes. I will let you in on another secret. Your father is a great romantic at heart. And I couldn’t say no to him, it was like a dream come true. I couldn’t believe his people would accept me as his wife, but apparently they appreciated the fact that I saved his life. We married and two years later, you came to this world and made us even happier than before.
“I love you too, mommy!”
Give me a big hug, sweetling! Yes, that’s a perfect hug. And this time it’s really bedtime. No more stories.
“What about the story of your wedding?”
I will tell you all about it tomorrow evening. Deal? Great. Sweet dreams, my beautiful girl.
I cover with your fluffy quilt and then stay with you until you fall asleep. Then the door creaks and Thorin quietly walks in, still dressed in his formal attire, straight from those awful negotiations. He offers me a tired smile and then gives you a gentle kiss on your forehead. I see the tenderness in his eyes when he looks at you. I take his hand and we leave your room without a word.
It has been a long day and I’m grateful it is finally over. I stifle a yawn and climb into bed — the same bed I saw Thorin in for the first time — and I take a glance at the tapestry on the wall. As so many times before, I notice the ghost outline of the green door across the heavy fabric, but it seems that I am the only one able to see it. I have no idea how I know this, but I am sure that if I tried to touch it, the door would become solid in the blink of an eye. The brass key lies in my desk drawer and I am aware that I could cross over if I wanted to — even at this very moment. But I don’t want to. I found home, love, family, and happiness in this place. It is more than enough. When the time comes, I will give the key to you, my little girl. Your heirloom. I am sure that you will make the right decision and follow your heart, just like I did.
Thorin joins me in bed a moment later and wraps me in the reassuring warmth of his embrace. He gives me a goodnight kiss and presses his forehead against mine.
I whisper to him, “I could stay like this forever.”
And so I do.

If i were to write an FMA Assassins Creed crossover, WHICH I'M NOT! IF LIKE TO FOCUS ON THE FMA EPIC I'M ALREADY WRITING, THANKS!, It would look something like this:
Xerxes would be analogous to the Isu. Both societies are considered ancient history, they both had slavery, there was epic scientific powers we cannot comprehend, both vanished completely in the space of a night marked by cosmic event that happens according to a solar cycle. This makes Ed and Al half Isu-adjacent, but they don't find out until they meet Father...
Trisha was an Assassin for the brotherhood. She wasn't super active with two rambunctious, supernaturally gifted alchemist boys to raise, but she didn't hide it from them either. She taught them the philosophy of the Assassins, if not the actual work.
Technically 2b on my paper, but I'm on mobile and don't know how to indent things. Altaïr is in his post mentor phase at this point, because this is a world's coexist crossover, not a rules of one within the other crossover. So he's doing the travelling sage thing, checking in on otherwise isolated Assassins and meeting their kids, studying Xerxesian artifacts, meditating. He mediates a lot. Primarily on Alchemy, in ways lost since the fall of Xerxes. He does this so hard he becomes capable of (some) circleless Alchemy.
2c. The Auditore family also exists. They're mostly engaged in background politics in Central. Ed and Al love visiting their 'cousins' whenever Trisha's work had them in Central.
2cii. They still put their trust in the wrong people, get framed for treason and semi-publically executed, though. Because this is a merger, not a fix it.
3. Roy Mustang is still Roy Mustang. Independently ideological and trying to change the system from within. He knows nothing about secret orders of Assassins or their enemy organisations.
3b. Madame Christmas, on the other hand, is deeply entrenched. She's an Assassin herself, running her brothel as a safe place and information exchange. It's her who helps smuggle Ezio and Claudia out of Central.
3c. Riza, also, is hiding the existence of Assassins from Roy. She was offered a place with them, but she decided watching this crazy apprentice of her father's was more important.
4. Ed has no compunctions against 'disappearing' corrupt officials. He's got a pocket watch that says he's allowed to do it and everything. That's how that works, right?
As an aside, Ezio's off doing his running around the countryside thing. Turns out the guy who framed his Dad was working for this 'forth Prince of Xing' who wanted an artifact they were keeping safe for Altaïr. It's not the key to immortality, but he's going it will be enough to win the emperor's favour.
4c. Ed totally kills those brothers in the armour in lab five. Yes, they're human. That hasn't stopped Ed yet and he's not going to start hesitating for a couple of death row serial killers.
Actually!
Ed and Al have a different set of values in this, don't they. "We work in the dark to serve the light", "stay your blade from the flesh of innocents".
As much as they miss Trisha, she would probably string them up by their ankles or something if they resurrected her. No human Alchemy attempts for them!
This means that Ed can't do circle Alchemy...
He can fake it, though.
Two people he looks up to can do it, his Teacher and the Mentor, so he knows it's possible. So he hides circles in his clothing, claps to activate them, and tada! Mystery alchemy, a la Kimblee. He's going to kill that guy first chance he gets.
As for Roy, he just happens to walk in while Ed's down an arm for unrelated reasons, Al's experimenting with Xingese remote alkahestry, and there's a mildly suspicious array and blood splatter in the basement. It's easier to let him believe they attempted the taboo than tell him the truth.
(the brotherhood sent him and his assassin master on a recon/training mission to a desert town in the east. They ended up in a fight with a hack of a priest and his hack of a chimera. Ed's arm got mauled and the senior assassin prioritised getting the rest of him back to Pinako over the festering wound in his own gut. The death rites were held in the basement only hours before Roy showed up)

What is it about summer evenings?
Crickets were going wild in the flowerbeds. The last vestiges of the sunset were just visible behind the humanities building. Clouds scudded across the sky, lazy and free. I felt weightless, like if I skipped a little bit I might just ascend into the heavens. Keys jingling in my hand, I hopped once, just to try it. No luck.
Campus was sparsely populated. Summer semester had a different kind of energy, plus it was Friday night. Most everyone was in their dorm or at a party, only a few unfortunate souls like myself wrapping up their summer jobs. Once I passed the library, I was alone.
Well. Almost.
The hairs on the back of my neck prickled. My eyes swept over my surroundings. I didn’t see a soul. I slowed, turned to look behind me, walking backwards.
A shadow ducked behind the corner of a classroom building about fifteen meters away.
I narrowed my eyes, trying to spot them again, but saw nothing. Best not to take chances. I turned and changed direction, circling around the west side of the engineering building instead of my usual path to the east.
Ahead of me, the buildings fell away to make space for the green, wide open and dotted with old sycamores. My head was on a swivel as I moved into the open space. The lamps that lined all the pathways on campus switched on automatically as the sun retreated below the horizon. I suddenly felt very visible, a rabbit realizing it has wandered into a clearing.
Movement in my periphery. I snapped to attention. A hulking figure lurked behind a tree just outside the reach of the wan lamplight.
Shit.
I took off sprinting without a second thought. Keys gripped tightly in my hand, sneakers pounding the sidewalk, the night air rushed past my face and I hit a comfortable stride. I loved to run and it had carried me all the way to the college on a track scholarship. The green whizzed past, the wind picking up and rustling the trees. Maybe I could fly after all. Stranger things, you know?
I ran past the law building and rounded the corner. There was a stairwell leading to a basement door surrounded by a brick wall and I scuttled halfway down, crouching in the darkness, barely panting. I kept a tight grip on my keys to keep them from clinking, eyes locked on the top of the stairs.
I counted to thirty before creeping up the staircase on all fours, peering around the wall, staying low. The big guy had passed my hiding place and was pacing slowly down the walkway, scanning for me. The bold white number 13 on the back of his jersey practically glowed in the evening blue.
Carefully, quietly, I maneuvered myself to the second stair from the top and looked for that first shadow. I couldn’t see him anywhere. I wasn’t going to move until I knew where he was.
There – prowling around the far building. No mask yet, not on campus, but from this distance, I still couldn’t make out who it was. There was no telling if it was the same one I’d seen before, but I didn’t want to hide for too long. I double-checked that neither of them were looking my way and snuck out of the stairwell, back the way I had come.
Once I was out of their sight I started running again, along the edge of the green, towards the west side of campus. The house lay to the north, but my plan was to head for the football field, cut through the woods that bordered the school, and then beeline for home. Seemed like a good route – not too direct, but not so far out of the way that they’d have a chance to cut me off.
I left main campus behind and saw the football field up ahead, floodlights blazing, attracting every moth within a square mile. The surrounding parking lot was nearly empty, nothing like it was in the fall. Again, I felt exposed, but I slowed to a brisk walk to conserve energy. I spun in a circle as I walked, keeping an eye out for anything moving. I saw nothing. This was concerning.
Should I take the long way around?  It would take longer, and the far side behind the visitors’ bleachers wasn’t well lit. Easy to get the drop on someone over there. But I’d be in the spotlight on the field.
I took a deep breath and decided to run it. It was just 100 meters. I could do 100 meters in 13 seconds.
The edge of the field was approaching. My adrenaline spiked. I could feel it in my chest, in my legs. Showtime.
The second my toes hit turf I exploded into a dead sprint. The fake grass was firm and springy under my feet, rustling with every step. I crossed the yard lines one after another, approaching the 50, and then the sound of footsteps behind me, fast.
“Get back here, bitch!” came a gleeful yell.
I screamed, knew who it was without looking, dug deep and tore across the field. My keys were digging into my palm, slick with sweat. The floodlights were blinding and I almost missed the second shadow racing out from behind the home bleachers.
“Surprise!” A gleeful grin, the glint of a knife.
I practically skidded on the turf, nearly lost my balance, wheeled to my left and narrowly avoided the blade. “Nice try, motherfucker!” I sprinted off the field, crossed the street without looking, and darted into the trees.
“C’mon man, that was it!” I heard one of them whine.
“Don’t give me that shit, come on!”
As soon as I knew I wasn’t visible from the road I started to zigzag through the foliage, trying my best to be light-footed and avoid cracking every stick on the forest floor beneath my sneakers. The ground rose into a low hill. I was panting, heart thundering a runaway beat.
Hopefully the big guy hadn’t made it this far; nobody knew these woods like he did. I hadn’t even seen the shape yet, but that wasn’t unusual. He would almost certainly be waiting near the house. The last leg of the chase was his favorite part.
Near the crest of the hill, I decided to risk a feint. I ducked behind a large boulder, breathing in through my nose, exhaling out of my mouth. My palm felt almost permanently etched with the imprint of my keys. I stuffed them in my pocket, ran my hands over the surface of the boulder, found a small ledge.
With a soft grunt, I pulled myself up, shoes scuffing on the rock, clambering all the way to the top. The night was dark, the full moon still low on the horizon. I pressed myself flat against the boulder and watched my two pursuers pick their way through the trees.
Their banter had ceased. They were hunting. One of them had donned the mask already. I watched the other pull it from his back pocket and slip it on over his head. Each of them gripped a hunting knife. They moved like wolves, always just outside of the other’s sight, covering the most ground possible.
I pressed a hand over my mouth as one of them circled the boulder. His head was just a few inches below me. He didn’t look up.
I considered throwing a rock as a diversion, but I didn’t think they’d fall for that. Instead I waited, measuring my breathing, sprawled like a spider in the darkness. When they left my sight, I tracked their movements with sound. They were quiet, but not silent. Eventually, they were far enough away that I could no longer hear them.
My plan now was to follow close enough to see where they split off to hide and wait for me on our street. That way I could avoid them, and then – provided the big guy hadn’t made it all the way up here yet – I’d only have one killer to contend with.
I slid down the side of the boulder and managed to land without making too much noise. Half-crouched, I moved in the direction they had gone. I caught up to them quickly, hung back where I could keep them both just within my field of vision. My eyes were trained on them, my ears straining for the sound of anyone approaching behind me.
My mistake. The shape didn’t make a lot of sound.
A hand seized the collar of my shirt, yanked me back. I barely had time to gasp before I was flung to the ground, pebbles and sticks biting into my palms as I threw them out to catch myself.
I tried to scramble away, clawing at the forest floor, but he grabbed my shoulder and flipped me onto my back. His silhouette loomed, black against the trees, and I shrieked. He dropped to his knees, straddling me, gripped my throat and choked off my cry. Instinctively my hands flew to his wrist, squeezing, trying to pry him off.
In his other hand he held a huge kitchen knife. He raised it high. I struggled for breath. The knife plunged down, pierced through the left side of my chest at an expert angle. I could feel my heart beat around the steel of his blade once, twice, and then my vision tunneled around his blank, pale face, and I fell backward into that place that felt like sleeping.
It didn’t take me long to come to. It wasn’t like waking up. There was nothing gradual or gentle about it. One moment, oblivion; the next, breathing!  Thinking!  The residual clench of pain in my chest.
“Look who’s up,” Stu said. “Welcome back, living dead girl.”
“Thanks,” I muttered, sitting up, rubbing the place where Michael had stabbed me. “Goddamn, Mikey. I never saw that coming.”
He was wiping the blade of his knife on his jeans, smearing my blood across the denim. His mask hung from his free hand. “I know.”
“Where the hell were you?” Billy demanded. “Stu and I walked right through here.”
“Like I’m gonna tell you,” I scoffed.
“Come on, you gotta,” Stu said.
“No way. Four against one is plenty, I don’t need to be giving you hints.”
“She was on top of the rock,” Michael said helpfully.
“You bastard.”
“I knew it!” Stu clapped his hands. “I told you Billy, I could sense her!”
“You could not,” I said. “I watched you walk right past me. I could’ve pulled the mask off your fucking head.”
“Why didn’t you then?” he taunted.
I tugged at my shirt, examining the damage. The blood blended in with the black fabric, but the tear was pretty big. The clothes in my closet were lucky if they lasted a week. “Where’s Jason?”
“Here he comes,” Billy said.
The big man waved lazily at us as he climbed up the hill. He had donned his hockey mask somewhere between here and the green and he slid it off as he approached. Who won? he signed. Michael lifted a hand. Guess that means we’re going to the burger place, huh?
“We just went there,” Billy groaned.
“Hey, if you’d just win for a change, we could hit up that taco truck,” I said.
“Shut up.”
“What’ll it be, Mikey?” I asked.
He shot Billy a smug look. “Milkshake sounds good.”
“Burgers it is.”
Billy groaned and rolled his eyes.
“Hey, you need to change?” Stu asked. “Maybe opt for the topless look?”
“Nah, I’m good. Barely a scratch. Nice try though.” He winked at me and clicked his tongue. I got to my feet, combing leaves out of my hair. “Man, I need a beer.”
Maybe we play Kings when we get back to the house?
“Hell yeah,” I said.
“You in a rush to lose again?” Billy said.
“You’re one to talk.”
“If you die drunk, would you come back sober?” Stu wondered aloud as we made our way down the hill.
“That’s a good question, I…don’t actually know.”
“Well let’s test it out.”
The woods fell silent behind us as we headed towards town. Just a group of college kids on a Friday night. A veritable pack of nightmares under the moon.

Snippet from Corruption: TMA x Malevolent crossover
Tim opened a book he shouldn't have, and now has the last remaining god in the universe stuck in his head.
In the process of dealing with that, he was marked by the Desolation - a Fear entity, based on rage.
Elias Bouchard is supposedly helping out, but he has SOME sort of plan going on - and as Tim has manifested the unexpected ability to tell when someone lies, the whole situation has gotten a weeeee bit tense.
(As always, snippet is unedited, tenses are screwy, etc. Still fun!)
-----------
Elias hadn’t lied; it’s a neat little space down there, in the Archives.
Well. It’s a mess. But the living quarters are definitely neat.
Gertrude Lara Croft Robinson is down there already, eyeing them, visibly daring commentary on the stacks of mismatched files, the open cardboard boxes balanced precariously against each other or on chairs, the truly heinous amount of cobwebs in every corner, between every shelf.
“Uh,” says Tim. “Nice haunted house you’re running here.”
“Mm,” says Elias.
Gertrude gives Tim a skewering look.
“No, really,” says Tim, stepping over six sagging boxes and around two piles of unsorted papers. “Get a fog machine down here and you’ll clean up.”
Heh, heh, heh.
“Yes, well, Gertrude insists there is a reason for all of it,” says Elias as if his kingdom is of no concern, and waves a hand to indicate all of it.
Gertrude says nothing.
Tim suddenly wonders if she’s hiding weapons in the paperwork.
The little living area is, happily, free from nonsense. A very tiny kitchenette, a small cot sharing space with boxes and office supplies, and a bathroom with a cramped toilet and sink.
“There is a shower upstairs,” says Elias, “though it is in my office, and you will need to arrange time to use it.”
“Weird,” says Tim.
Elias shrugs. “It is a very old building. James Wright had it installed, so I am to understand, but what he was thinking doing it there… well. I have no idea.”
A lie.
Tim peers at him.
Elias smiles and it is a bright, sharp thing, like light glinting off a blade. “Oh, you are good at that, aren’t you?” he murmurs.
“What - was that a test?”
“It was. Over something I think you can agree, at least, is harmless.”
“Hard not to be insulted,” Tim says.
“Of course - but I had to be sure you knew on your own. I can clearly see Lord Hastur did not clue you in.”
“He wants to be called Yellow.”
It’s fine, Tim, says fucking Lord Hastur.
Tim rolls his eyes so hard they hurt. “Subject fucking change. Anyway. I don’t have my stuff, I just realized. That makes this a little bit rough.”
“Yes, I’m aware. I will send you home - during daylight - with help to gather your things and return here before darkness falls. All right? Just give me some time to make a couple of arrangements.”
Truth. “Okay. I guess. Fuck, this is… Am I really kipping in a haunted basement to hide from maggot gods?”
“I fear before all of this over, you will experience far stranger things than this,” says Elias. “Now - do try to get comfortable. I will fetch you a key, as well as the code for the alarm.”
“Elias!” snaps Gertrude.
“He is officially under our protection.”
And there, right there, is the most real Elias has been this whole damn time, because that hardly sounded like the same man.
Even the smarm is gone, replaced with a frankly terrifying hardness, the kind that makes Tim think he could shoot a guy in the face and walk away without a second thought.
But maybe it’s necessary to corral someone like Gertrude.
She looks positively raucous for a moment, then glances at Tim.
He holds his hands up. “No quarrels with you. I’m just trying to stay alive.”
“I reserve the right to kill him if he tries a ritual inside the Institute - whether or not he knows what it does,” Gertrude snaps.
“Fair,” says Elias.
“Sure?” says Tim.
Yellow sighs.
Oh. Apparently, he had plans. Oh, well!
Gertrude nods as if her head is an axe and marches away.
Elias sighs. “I really do apologize for her.”
Will she honor your command?
Tim snorts. “Nobody talks like that, just so you know,” he mutters.
“For a while, anyway. Her focus is ‘protecting humanity,’ whatever that means, so as long as Tim provides no such active threat, he will fall off her radar.”
“So it sounds like ‘protecting humanity’ is funny?” says Tim. “Which it kind of isn’t, so much? And I don’t know how to take that?”
“In the name of saving the world, she sacrifices people,” Elias says coldly. “It makes one wonder what the value of life is to her - and is also why I will no longer provide her with assistants.”
So that’s a whole host of unspoken stories. “Wow.”
“Indeed. I’ll send help down with a key and all shortly. Rest, Tim. As best we can, we’ll keep you safe.” Elias smiles (and, oddly enough, was telling the truth), and leaves.
Tim flops onto the cot.
It squeaks.
“That’ll make masturbating awkward,” he says without thinking.
Yellow laughs.

TMA MAG 56 - AHHHHHAHAHAHAHA
TREVOR IS BACK!
I love him so much. You go you funky little vampire hunter.
I'm gonna be honest since he was a teenager(?) in his last statement I thought he'd be only a little older in this one, and didn't realize until he referenced "the 80s" for the third time.
I know the timelime doesn't work out but I'd love a "crossover" episode with Trevor, Gerard Key and Melanie? (the youtuber) teaming up to hunt spooky shit. Bonus points if a completely normal, random and unrelated person gets caught up in their shenanigans, so Jon is sifting through this random statement where the "weird shit" appears to be three people who all seem to be familiar? But it couldn't be, could it, last time we saw Gerard Key he'd been in italy, and they all work alone and - then Melanie posts an episode about them on her show and the entire Archive office just sits around the monitor, having their headcanons about these horror hunters entirely destroyed by them making funny faces into the camera before they start murdering people and hunting books (not necessarily in that order). (Damn I don't want to write fic before I'm done with the show but I realllllly want to write this fic now).
Anyway. I love, love his story.
This episode is also fuel to the "Everything is Connected" Board, since Trevor managed to take out one of the Jane Prentiss-like bug hives, and I'm glad Jon has finally gotten around to admitting that Trevor may have been on to something. I know Jon was largely pretending to be a sceptic in season 1, or so he claims, but Trevor was THE stand out "unreliable narrator" back then. Addicted to several drugs, homeless, young, traumatized, one would not run out of excuses to claim Trevor was a lying murderer. And that there was NONE of that this episode, even though the entire first half of it depicts Trevor murdering an innocent man by his own account! That's huge! I love this shift in the narrative. Back then the question was "Is there something going bump in the night?" but by now it's "How are the things going bump in the night connected to the spooky shit in our basement?". I have a feeling the point of escalation will become "(How) Can we kill the thing going bump in the night?" and if Jon's and Sasha's ... "corruption" arcs are any indication, "Are we the thing going bump in the night? (And can we still kill it anyway?)"
Apropos of Jon's "corruption" arc.
"Everyone in this place has so many goddamn secrets and I can’t trust a word you say."
Do they, though, do they?
Yes, Martin has been keeping a secret. Like I called, it's completely innoucious - or at least, unrelated to the murder case (vindication!).
Yes, Not-Sasha has been acting strangely except Jon didn't pick up on most of the actual strangeness and instead focused on - for example - her lunch break dates. Which sure! Could be fake! Or she's genuinely found a friend and is comtemplating life in a wax museum, who am I to judge. (I am finding myself getting fond of Not-Sasha, which is uncool, since I fully expect her to turn out evil by the end of the season the latest). None of which, btw, link her to the murder mystery.
Jon has absolutely NOTHING on Tim and Elias. Elias is as much a murder suspect as any of them simply by proxy (and having had arguably the most opportunity (and motivation, should my 'the institute demands human sacrifices to the horrors' theory be right, but that's pure unfounded speculation)). The only mystery Jon has on Tim is his goddamn work motivation.
Jon. Jon. Someone's birthday is not considered a secret just because you refuse to ask them about it. It's frankly insane that Jon is willing to go so far as to stalk his coworkers instead of just asking them basic and inane questions about their lifes! Yes sure, they could be lying, but you're not even giving them any opportunity to lie to you, since you refuse to talk to them! Nevermind that you've been lying too between the stalking and the pretend relationship and the increased paranoia.
Yeah so, I don't think it's a coincidence a good chunk of this episode is dedicated to someone convinced that they are doing something right just to realize they have been tunneling badly and are actually wrong. Trevor didn't realize until his victim was dead, whereas Jon did finally manage to just ask and get out of this one bad tunnel. I have a feeling that's not the end of the spiral for Jon, though.
I dare say Martin could be a potential alley for Jon in all this, since he's the only one Jon still willingly talks to (oh how the turns have tabled!) and hasn't - somehow - completely alienated with his bullshit. Although I believe Martin will struggle on whether to side with Jon through his mania or with his coworkers - or maybe even with himself, and finally standing up to Jon's bullshit. I'd love to see it. Did he always say "sorry" so often? I think he apologized four times this episode, which is incredible considering his short screen time. I think he may be genuinely intimidated by Jon. Although that could have just been because Jon was onto him, I feel like Martin seems to have... curled up on himself a bit this season. I remember him not taking quite as much of Jon's shit in season 1, but these days he's really just ducking his head.
Which brings me to the last point of this: Martin's secret: ahahahahahahah I love it so much.
As funny as I think it is - and I think it would have been even funnier if we knew what age Martin is pretending to be in the first place - his story gets sadder the more you think about it? He admitted his mother starting having problems and he dropped out of school to support them - considering that was apparently 12 years ago, and I assume his mother's struggles were health related somehow - I feel confident assuming she is indeed dead.
Martin was writing venty letters to his dead mother while he was trapped at his place of work because he was being stalked by flesh eating worms but also terrified that said place of work would find out about his real identity, probably throwing him back into poverty again with even fewer prospects - especially if they'd reported him to the police. No wonder he doesn't seem to have a social life, either.
Yeah okay, I'd feel meek under these circumstances too, and considering how put-together Martin seemed in season 1, I'd say he's officially a certified badass.
Man, if I had a nickle every time there was a main character who was once under siege by a supernatural entity trapping him in isolation, and who faked his paranatural work credentials and kept lying about it to his coworker, who happens to be a bit of an anti-social shut in, I'd have two nickels.

Chapter 6 of my Harry Potter/Detroit Become Human crossover is up here now:
https://archiveofourown.org/works/40944147/chapters/102608418
- The first years try wizarding cuisine - Daniel and Gavin have a discussion about house elves and Sherlock Holmes - And Connor with his fear of heights can’t wait for flying class tomorrow
Excerpt:
Meanwhile Daniel and Gavin had set up a couple of additional wards and Kara had contributed the wake-up alarm. Daniel had encouraged the teenager to cast it, under the assumption that sleeping in in case of a botched Galli Cantus spell wouldn’t endanger the children. Daniel had watched Kara casting, found no fault in incantation or spell and told the teenager so. But he still hadn’t the first idea about how to teach children…
“Alright, Phillips, the midgets have hit the hay and we’ve set up protective spells. Time for us to call it a day, too!”
“Yeah, it’s high time.”
Side by side the two wizards walked down the stairs and towards the far end of the basement floor. The door here didn’t seem to lead to a guest room. It was two-winged and much higher, as if to allow large crates to fit through. A hamper was standing in the corner and above the basket an ornate board inscribed with an equally ornate script hung on the wall.
Gavin took out a key ring that he tossed into midair. In quick succession the wizard pointed his wand at the door lock, called out “Prex Clavis!” and moved the tip of his wand towards the keys that were descending much slower now than they ordinarily would have done. The keys arranged themselves in a way that the correct one stood out. It gently glided down and Gavin only needed to grab it with his left hand.
“All of that to save you five seconds of fiddling?” Daniel commented. “A formula of Kamski’s, I’m positive!”
“Yeah. That man is a two-legged sloth, but also a genius. One of these days he’ll invent a spell that invents spells for him. Okay, let’s see where this gets us!”
“Well, it literally says “staff room” on this board here. That doesn’t leave much to imagination, no?”
“Wait, you can read that scrawl?”
“Sure can!” [...] “The tablet states that the library’s house elves lived in this room, before Carl Manfred bought Britechester Hall and set them all free!”
“And now he wants us to sleep in there? The nerve!“
“Well, all other rooms are taken already. It’s either the staff room or the floor - what is a traditional house elf option, too, just saying.”
Gavin took a step back. “Some of the armchairs upstairs looked comfy enough. We could enlarge them and be set.”
“In this case – key, please! I’m not going to sleep on the furniture like the house cat!”
Daniel had crossed his arms, so Gavin carefully placed the keys on the hamper. Doing so, he noticed a sheet of paper that someone had pinned to the lid. Most of the space was taken up by a neat newspaper font, albeit littered with handwritten comments along the lines of “Yay, it really worked!”.
“Hey, look, Phillips! It says here that visitors can leave clothes in the hamper, that may then find their way into house elf hands to set them free. Donating here is believed to bring good luck.” Gavin looked up. “I could toss in Connor’s jacket!”
“No, that would be theft. - But, hey, I didn’t know you were in favor of house elf rights?”
Gavin Reed had been ready to donate Connor’s jacket for real. If the almost-pureblood was adverse to the idea of freeing a house elf, he wouldn’t have suggested tossing in the garment even in joke, right?
Gavin grinned. “I enjoy watching the little buggers zip around! They’re adorable!”
“Elves are… adorable? Not the first thing that would come to a wizard’s mind when he thinks of house elves…”
“Maybe, but then again, most wizards haven’t seen my Tina! The moment I’m finished reading a magazine, she goes at it with her scissors and cuts out photos to fashion into body wrappings.”
“Let me get this straight, Reed: You own a house elf whom you let run around dressed in newspaper-clippings?”
“Magazine-clippings, Phillips! The colors make all the difference. What are yours wearing, ey? Oh, I forgot, you’re a Phillips - maybe you like to look at naked house elves…”
“What in hell gives you the impression, I might own a house-elf?”
Scratching the back of his head Gavin recounted Daniel’s post-Hogwarts biography: “Ah, right, four years undercover in the Muggle world… and Azkaban before that… but now that you’re back, you’ll want one! Mind you, they’re hard to come by nowadays. Not just because of the freeing campaign. With everything an elf might eavesdrop about their masters’ secrets, people think twice about selling one of theirs.”
“Reeeed…”
Gavin didn’t get the cue. Enthusiastically he continued: “Me, I got lucky! The Madams Kamski gifted me Tina upon graduation. She’s a couple of years younger than me, a daughter of Elijah’s Chloe, and originally was called Chloe, too. But the Kamskis name all their house elves Chloe, so I changed the name.”
“Oh, will you shut up already, asshole!”
Shouting now, Gavin went at Daniel: “No, I’m NOT going to shut up about my house elf OR my cats! They’re mine and they’re adorable and I fucking don’t care what the polite society talks about these days, cuzz this wizard thinks for himself! I’d part with my WAND before I’d let anything happen to Tina!”
“Really?”
Gavin gasped for air, then continued less violently:
“Of course! What’s so special about wands, ey? Every random mudblood can simply buy one, and even powerful ones. But owning your own house elf is undeniable proof that you’ve made it into a better class. I thought YOU would understand! You’re part elf and not exactly swimming in favors from the ministry either.”
“Okay, that’s enough. I won’t comment on anything you said. Just this much: Were we married, you’d sleep on the couch tonight.”
“You don’t like house elves, then?”
Wordlessly Daniel picked up the keys, unlocked the staff room door and marched in, but he left the door open, so sleeping on the couch probably wasn’t a hard-locked verdict.
“What a stone-hearted bastard”, Gavin muttered to himself while following Daniel the “house-elf hater”.

Part 1?
Small supernatural and stranger things crossover cause im bored at work. Basically the 2nd episode of spn but my oc and the gang.
They're kind of a self-insert. They go by Mouse
________
"It's a Wendigo of course it's a fuckin Wendigo," Mouse muttered angrily while rummaging around in their basement of weapons. One this far down was bad and needed to get taken care of immediately. Although unknown to Mouse a group of people had different plans.
Steve, the kids, Robin, Nancy, Johnathan, and a reluctant Eddie trudged through the woods to their camping spot. They had only planned to be out for a night so they decided to set up camp near Hoppers cabin. The area was well known to most of the group so they figured it was the safest place to camp.
__
Mouse carried their duffle of weapons to their car carefully setting it in the trunk and slamming it closed before getting into the drivers seat and tearing out of the driveway. They knew kids tended to wander the forest and wanted to take care of the danger before anyone was injured. Mouse pulled up on a partially destroyed building and sighed heavily seeing another car.
"Fuck," Mouse turned off the car shoving their keys in their pocket and quickly looked through the window of the other car seeing if the owner was inside. Much to their disappointment the car was empty.
"Alright let's do this," Mouse hyped themself up and grabbed their duffle from the trunk and trudged into the woods. They followed the tracks left in the mud which thankfully looked fresh. They could hear echoed conversations in the distance and picked up their pace, the wendigo shouldn't be hunting for a little longer so they had time.
Steve and the gang were working on camp. Some of the boys had spread out collecting firewood, a couple others were pitching tents. Robin bounced between talking to Steve and talking to Nancy and Johnathan filling the forest with sound.
"It's a bad idea to be out in the forest right now," Steve jumped and spun heart racing. The newcomer had long brown hair, wore dark clothing with a flannel around their waist, boots, and a large duffle.
"Then why are you out here?" Johnathan asked somewhere behind Steve.
"None of your concern but as of right now you and your friends need to leave," they took a couple steps closer before looking around. In the distance they could hear screams.
"Fuck. Stay here. Get a fire going," Mouse dropped their bag and rummaged through it pulling out a sawed off shotgun and a flashlight before running into the forest. They easily found a couple kids who were panicking.
"If you guys are with the others I found setting up camp head there now. Even if you're not," Mouse pointed towards the light in the distance.
"Go that way and stay with the adults," Mouse quickly rounded up the kids and double-checked no one was in the area before returning to the group. By the way the group was yelling Mouse could tell someone was missing.
"Shut up!" the group turned to Mouse. "Who is missing?"

#Insidious the last key movie a telecharger gratuitement series
The first Insidious utilized Elise and her crew as supporting characters, and the series gradually brought them to the foreground, which is a smart move, since they’re what makes this otherwise generic PG-13 ghost franchise feel unique and interesting. Their goofy humor tends to be a bit much, especially when it comes to some unintentionally uncomfortable moments spurred on by a running joke where they awkwardly hit on a girl half their age, but some levity is welcome than none at all. Rainier also comes with her own set of comedy sidekicks, a bit of levity that’s sorely missing from The Conjuring films, in the form of two obnoxious but well-meaning techie ghost hunters named Specs (longtime James Wan partner-in-crime and screenwriter Leigh Whannell) and Tucker (Angus Sampson, who was terrific in Season 2 of Fargo). Elise is as adept at utilizing her paranormal gifts to connect to the spirit world as the Warrens, yet she has a relatable frailty about her, as if she’s using her services to help other people with their pesky ghost problems to deal with her own demons, literally and figuratively. The Insidious films, on the other hand, have Elise Rainier, played with subtle humanity and compassion by veteran character actress Lin Shaye. (The fact that the real people they’re based on are proven con artists doesn’t help matters.) Despite being played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, the characters are rarely written with much depth for the actors to sink their teeth into. The Conjuring universe has Ed and Lorraine Warren, whom I find to be entirely too self-serious, a bit smug and fairly interchangeable. The most important element to keep in mind while doing so is the paranormal expert characters themselves, our conduits into the spooky world that these movies inhabit. Hey, the formula obviously works-why mess with it, right? Since that’s the case, I don’t see much of a choice but to analyze the narrative and characters that surround those set pieces as the main approach to gauge the difference in quality between these films. At this point, after a significant number of entries in both franchises, it’s clear that we can’t expect the set pieces themselves to offer anything new and exciting.
#Insidious the last key movie a telecharger gratuitement movie
These demons rinse and repeat this plan in mind-numbingly episodic fashion, until they realize that the movie they’re in is reaching its second act break, which propels them to pull the cutest and most likable kid into the spirit world, forcing the experts to go into an afterlife that curiously look like a generic Halloween haunted house tour in order to save the poor rascal. They are both about a team of paranormal experts who help families get rid of evil spirits that have nothing better to do than lure unsuspecting, none-too-bright kids into dark rooms and basements, wait a ridiculously long time hiding in order to raise suspense as if they’re trolling their victims, before popping up to scare the bejeezus out of them before the screen cuts to black. In fact, I’d be fairly surprised if a crossover flick doesn’t happen sometime soon. As far as the general premises and overall technical moods of these films are concerned, they’re really not that different from one another. After popularizing torture porn with the Saw franchise during the early 2000s, Wan is now responsible for getting underway not one, but two PG-13 jump-scare ghost horror franchises: The Conjuring cinematic universe and the Insidious series. Any studio looking to kickstart a surefire horror franchise knows to hire Australian genre wunderkind James Wan and let him do pretty much whatever he wants.

@musesfromthefifthdimension sent:
There's a little man in a black-frock coat and wearing a black, broad-brimmed hat at the mortally injured Erwin Smith's side. He takes a vial of something from his coat, and offers it to the bandaged man. "Drink this," he says, "it will stop the pain." (Fate)
Tumblr media
Commander Erwin Smith-- 13th Commander of the Survey Corps, hailing from Wall Rose, was not your ordinary man. Charismatic, fighting for the sake of Humanity within the Walls or so he says, a man that was able to make the tough choices that no one else could make. A man that refused to lie to his soldiers of their fates... all as they had to come to terms with the fact that on this day, they would die to the Beast Titan. At least, Erwin believed he himself would die with them. The first to be struck and killed, in fact. But... he survived.
Left alone in Shiganshina, surrounded by death-- there weren't enough horses to bring the dead back to Wall Rose. And they couldn't bring back Commander Erwin. Lying there on a bed in an abandoned homestead, placed there by his loyal soldiers, Erwin gasped and trembled like a fish out of water with every moment he attempted to breathe. His organs nearly fell out of him-- the bleeding was only just barely stopped by some remaining Scout that'd survived the Charge that Erwin led... and, for some reason, they believed it right to tend to him. Something he could barely understand.
The bandaged fellow was barely able to acknowledge Mr. Fate's presence-- his breathing was labored, his eyes lidded, lips barely able to part to give his answer. He couldn't even lift his own arm to try to reach for the vial.
... but, he did seem to notice Mr. Fate. It's just that-- Erwin Smith, Commander of the Survey Corps, didn't realize that if he were speaking with Mr. Henry J. Fate, then that meant he was taking his first steps... into the Twilight Zone.

Note
After gratefully consuming your update I have come to ask if you have any Danny phantom fic recs whilst I am now in the mood for DP
OKAY. LET'S DO THIS.
(2 hours later)
Here is a list of my favorite DP fics! Most of them are not particularly recent, because I am Behind On The Times. For example, I still haven’t read “A Snapping Sound”, so it’s not included here, but I understand that it is very good. You may have read most of these already! But on the off chance you haven't, please enjoy perusing this lovingly hand-selected and alphabetized list.
*I haven't put Cordria's stories on this list. Everything by Cordria is amazing. Close your eyes and point at one, and you won't be disappointed.
**And if I had to choose 3 particular favorites from this list, I would say “Beyond Beasts”, “Exposed”, and “Shift” (by CaptainOzone). As in, these stories are going to stick with me forever. Please read them.

Spellbound - Iymea Summary: "Maybe coming to England wasn't one of my greatest ideas." A stupid mistake lands Danny in the custody of Albus Dumbledore. With so much time apart, the question sets in: who has more right to exist if Fenton and Phantom are no longer fragments of a whole? Character Study. Established Gray Ghost, slow burn Pitch Pearl [ongoing]
they say this place is haunted - LittleBlueArtist Summary: Danny Fenton is in college. He's left Phantom behind, and Amity Park with it. He's onto a better life now. A college degree. A daily routine that doesn't involve ghosts and fighting. That is, until someone from his past comes roaring into his present, and he might've taken all the wrong parts of Amity Park with him. [ongoing]
Trust Your Instincts - peachdoxie Summary: A new kind of danger threatens Amity Park. With no other leads, Maddie Fenton turns to the one individual that might be able to help: Danny Phantom. Meanwhile, after a near death experience, she begins to question everything she knows about ghosts. [ongoing]

Winterhawk ficlet: “But I’m supposed to be the witch in this relationship!” + Vampires + Marvel x DC crossover + eventual possible Clint/Bucky/Jason Todd wc 850 —
Clint steps into his house, tossing his keys in the general direction of their hook. A tiny purple puff of smoke, invisible to all but other magic users, ensures that the keys land exactly where he wants them. He shrugs out of his jacket, putting it next to Bucky’s. Nice. His boyfriend must already be here, though Clint coulda sworn he wasn’t gonna arrive until after dinner.
Not that he’s gonna complain about Bucky showing up early, it’s just that Clint’s really hungry. He was looking forward using his magic to reheat his leftover pizza to that perfect balance of crispy and melty goodness that he can never quite achieve via normal, human methods like microwaves or ovens. Even though Bucky’s just regular dude, not a speck of magic in him, Clint’s learned the hard way to never use magic in front of others if they might pick up on its effects.
“Hey babe,” he calls out. “Glad to see you’re using that key I gave you. You get off work early?”
Rather than an answer, there’s a crash from somewhere deep in the house.
Clint’s instantly on high alert. He puts his thumb to the ring on his middle finger, activating the sigils that give him access to his power stores. He walks through the kitchen, one hand in front of him. “...Babe?”
There’s another crash, then, a quiet ‘shit’, a pause, then, “In here!”
“In where?” Clint asks, concerned.
“Basement!”
Clint’s breath catches in his throat. Bucky shouldn’t know about the basement. It’s warded against sight and detection. Even Nat approved it, said her magic didn’t so much as itch when she came near it before he adapted the wards to recognize her. Fuck. “Don’t look in there,” he says hurriedly, sprinting for the stairs. “Everything in there is uh, a prop? It’s all, uh, parts of a play. Yeah, okay, you remember, I was a nerd in school, did ren fests and things and —”
He reaches the door to the basement, winces at the broken wards as he passes — he should have felt them break — slams it open. “I mean, not that ren fests are just for nerds, or that being nerdy is a bad thing, it’s just —”
His voice dies in his throat.
Bucky’s standing in the center of the room, one hand extended to his side, where a red flame flickers, swirling bright crimson smoke into the air. The other stretches forward, fingers flexed upwards, palm flat towards a man that’s bound to a chair against the wall.
Well, no, not a man — a vampire.
Silver chains wrap around his ankles and wrists, keeping him tied to the chair. Three crucifixes make up the back of the chair, and thick ropes anchor him in place. A vat of holy water is suspended in midair above him, poised and ready to drench his unruly hair and ruin his leather motorcycle jacket.
“Hey, Clint,” Bucky says. “Sorry, this was the closest warded and supplied place I could take him, and the silver in my car wasn’t holding up.”
“The silver in your car?” Clint echoes weakly. He blinks, rubs at his eyes. Yeah, nope, that’s his totally human, totally non-magic boyfriend trapping a vampire with what looks like a pretty damn powerful purification spell in progress.
The vampire jerks his head back, twisting his face so that he can spit the gag out of his mouth. It’s a pretty mouth, fangs aside. “Ren fests are totally for nerds,” he says. “I bet you both are regular attendees.”
Bucky sighs. “Sorry, thought I had that tighter.”
The vampire winks. “Looks like someone needs to practice on their knot work, though— ,” he flexes strong biceps against the ropes, then smirks, “— seems like you’ve got at least some practice tying people up.”
Bucky rolls his eyes. “You’re relentless, Todd. I cannot wait until this spell goes through and you’ve got your gods-damned soul back. Maybe then you’ll be a little less annoying.”
He waves the hand that’s extended in front of him, and a flicker of red flies from the flame above his other palm, shooting towards the vamp.
Before it arrives, the vampire chuckles. “Oh, sweetheart. As if having a soul is gonna make me keep my mouth closed.” The flicker of red yanks on the gag, pressing it through his lips, behind his teeth. His chuckles continue, and there’s a glow in his eyes that makes one hell of a promise.
The red flicker flies back to rejoin the flame over Bucky’s palm. It’s an effortless display of strength: one spell cast in the middle of at least two others, the animation of two inanimate objects, multiple targets held in concentration at the same time. Gods, the level of focus required alone — Clint hasn’t seen anyone this strong since, well, himself.
Holy shit, and Clint thought Bucky was attractive before? He shifts on his feet at the sudden discomfort in his jeans. He steps forward, letting the door to the basement swing closed.
“But,” he says, mind still skipping like a broken record, “I’m supposed to be the witch in this relationship.”
“Yeah,” Bucky says, “about that.”

Better Than Anyone Else - Castiel Imagine (Supernatural)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Title: Better Than Anyone Else
Pairing: Castiel X Reader
Requested: by @zizzlekwum
Word Count: 1,306 words
Warning(s): cussing, kidnapping, insults, Dean can't really keep his mouth shut
Summary: (Season 5) (Y/n) and Castiel are taken hostage by angels in the hopes of getting information on how the Winchesters plan on stopping the apocalypse. (Y/n) finally reaches their boiling point with the angels that try to make Cas feel like shit.
Author's Note: I swear, Cas is one of my favorite characters to write for.
Hey! I did a rewrite of the ending of Supernatural. It took a really long time to complete, so it would mean a lot to me if you check it out. Here’s a link! (it’s on my personal account)
-------------------------------------
I was seething.
I watched as the angels strutted around Cas and me. We were tied across from each other. Cas with some weird kind of chain and me with just rope.
They just kept poking at him.
Mocking him for his humanity. His caring nature.
It pissed me off.
"Isn't it pathetic," one of them asked. "Knowing that your choice to help the humans is pointless? You trusted them... cared about them... all for it to go to waste. They don't care about you, you're just a tool to them."
"Leave him alone," I snapped, tugging at the ropes harshly. I didn't even wince at the feeling of the material burning my skin.
"Shut up, you gnat," the 'head angel' of the group said. "You are one of the biggest reasons Castiel forgot his purpose."
"He didn't forget his purpose," I hissed. "He found it."
She held her blade to my neck, grabbing my hair so I couldn't wiggle away.
"He's one of the most caring creatures I've ever met," I continued, ignoring my fear. "He's a hero. Not just to me but to so many others. You are just trying to make him hate all he's done so he can be guilt-tripped into helping you. If you were worth helping, you wouldn't have to do that."
The angel nearly growled at me before stepping away.
I started combatting words with words.
"You mean nothing to them" was met with my response of "You're amazing and I'm honored to even know you."
"If you didn't have powers, they'd drop you like dead weight," was met with, "Don't listen to them. The boys and I think you're brilliant. You're amazing... a hero."
"They obviously don't need you... they would've saved you by now," was met with, "Sam and Dean will be here soon, they just can't teleport."
This continued until the doors were slammed open. I smiled to myself. Sam and Dean stormed in and started fighting. Sam quickly cut the ropes from my wrist and ankles and grabbed the blade the had rolled from one of the angels.
"One second," I said to Cas quickly, going after the main angel.
I sunk the blade into her stomach, ripping a key from around her vessel's neck.
"Didn't know angels used such basic locks on shit," I muttered, undoing the lock. Cas stood up instantly, moving me out of the way so he could smite an angel that was behind me.
The action died down and we all looked around to check on each other.
"All of us alright," Dean asked. I nodded. "Let's go, Bobby's waiting for us."
We went to walk out but Cas called my name. I turned back to him. He gently grabbed my hands. I blushed as I watched how careful he was as he healed the rope burns.
"Thank you," I mumbled, looking up at him.
I noticed how close we were. I took a deep breath in before turning around and following Sam and Dean. Cas teleported out.
"How are you feeling," Sam asked as Dean started driving.
"I've been better," I muttered. "They just kept insulting him. Like they knew it would hurt more than hitting him."
"What did you do," Sam asked.
"Defended him," I replied. "He deserved that. Even after they held a blade to my throat, I just wanted him to know that we cared."
There was a moment of silence.
"(Y/n)," Dean said carefully. "Do you promise not to hit me after I ask my next question?"
"I can't promise something like that, I've heard some dumb questions come out of your mouth," I replied, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Do you... love Cas," he asked.
My breath stopped in my throat for a moment.
I looked down. Was love the right word? Was that too far? I definitely liked him. He was sweet and brave but... love? He'd be uncomfortable if I said love. I sighed... maybe I did love him.
"I don't know if 'love' is too far or not," I finally admitted.
"Holy shit," Dean sounded so excited. I chuckled. "I fricking knew it! Sam, you owe me twenty bucks!"
"You bet on me?"
"...No," Dean suddenly turned guilty when he realized that I was unhappy with his choice.
"Sam."
"It was Dean's idea," he said, throwing his brother under the bus immediately. I looked at Dean.
"(Y/n)... listen..."
--time skip--
I was looking through Bobby's basement for him. He was working on some project and just needed me to help him grab some things. I was happy too. Working with Bobby was not as scary as some would assume.
I was heading back up the stairs when I heard Cas and Dean in the kitchen.
"I just want to know why (Y/n) defended me so adamantly," I froze, realizing neither one had noticed me.
"I can't tell you that, Cas, you need to ask them," he replied.
"You know and won't tell me," Cas said it as a statement, not a question.
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Because I can't."
"Dean, I don't understand-"
"I'm sorry, Cas, but this is (Y/n)'s business."
I guess I didn't know how long they had been going around in a circle. Still, what happened next made me want to throw what I was holding at Dean's head.
"Is there something wrong with (Y/n)? Are you worried about them? What do I not know-"
"Guys," I heard Sam try to intervene.
"(Y/n) loves you, Cas," Dean finally snapped. "There! You know why now!"
My heart just sank, "How fucking dare you?"
Dean looked at me with a panicked look.
"(Y/n)-"
I held up a hand. I walked to the living, placed what Bobby asked for on the table, and then walked out of the house.
"Where are you going," Sam asked, going to stop me.
"On a walk," I snapped, slamming the front door shut behind me.
I don't even know how far into Bobby's yard I had walked. I just kept going. I was angry and stressed and embarrassed. I was ready to fight Dean and leave him tied up in the trunk of his own car.
"(Y/n)," I heard the deep voice from behind me. I ignored it. "(Y/n)."
"Cas, I really don't wanna-"
I ended up walking straight into his chest. I took a step back and looked up at his face.
"Cas... we can just forget that," I motioned toward the house. "We don't have to worry about it."
"No."
"No?"
"I don't want to forget about it," he muttered. "It made me very happy when I heard you loved me."
"Oh," I mumbled.
"I... I love you too," he had a small grin on his face, seeming nervous. Angel of the Lord... nervous.
"You do?"
"Yes," Cas nodded.
"Oh," I mumbled again.
He stepped closer to me. I felt my entire base heat up at the motion. Being this close to Cas... or anyone really... was kind of new to me. I watched him closely and saw him furrow his eyebrows.
"This is where I'm supposed to kiss you, right," he asked softly.
"If you want to."
"I want to," he replied. I smiled widely at him.
I leaned in and pressed my lips to his lightly. I grabbed the lapels of his jacket. It felt like I was going to lose him if I did. He slowly reached out to touch my sides as he relaxed into the kiss. It was a perfect moment.
I slowly pulled away, trying to hold back a laugh as he tried to lean forward and kiss me again.
"I love you," I whispered, my forehead touching him.
"I love you too," he mumbled back. "And I'd like to kiss you again."
"Be my guest," I chuckled, pulling him back into a kiss.
What a perfect moment?

ML AU Masterpost
So I’ve been asked a few times to make a Masterpost of all my ML AUs because there’s like. A Lot. Some are full fics, others are just concepts we spitball around.
I’ll write the AU Name, a short summary, and give relevant tags to it. And my tagging system is kind of a mess so like. I’ll have two tags for some AUs because sometimes it’ll be ‘AU Name’ and other times it’s ‘AU Name AU’, ya know?
Anyway here we go!
Hero Chat
My main AU! Kinda my ‘Canon has disappointed me, this is Canon now’ AU.
Canon Divergence happens technically at the end of Queen Wasp, with Chloé not going back to Audrey and beginning to throw away her redemption arc. But the real changes don’t start until the beginning of Season 3, where Ladybug makes Rena Rouge, Carapace, and Honeybee(Chloé’s new Identity) full-time Heroes.
Relevant links:
Fics: X Relevant Tags: X X X X Bonus tag for the HC Answers: X
Lady Luck
My other biggest AU!
Instead of Marinette, it’s Chloé chosen to be Ladybug. This changes several things. Adrien, Alix, Gabriel and Nathalie all still have their Canon Miraculous, but everyone else gets shuffled around because Chloé will be choosing them.
Fic: X Relevant Tags: X X X X
Forged
Post-Miracle Queen, Chloé finds a new Miraculous from a separate Miracle Box. Hopefully things go better this time.
Fic: X Tags: X
Queen’s Second Chance:
The events of Miracle Queen go horribly wrong. Very very bad end(probably my darkest AU tbh). The Heroes are defeated, Hawkmoth has all the Miraculous, Chloé has been desperately trying to break out of her Akumatization since the fight began, but was unable to.
In a desperate attempt, Sass uses his power. It takes himself and the person with the most regret back in time a lot longer than just a few moments.
Chloé wakes up the morning of Origins, and is determined to make things right this time.
Fic: X Tags: X
Double Trouble:
Post-Miracle Queen, Ladybug realizes she made a mistake in that taking the Miraculous away from Chloé left her vulnerable to Hawkmoth attacking her directly and forcing her to work for him. And now the whole Team’s identities are revealed. To fix this, she’s shuffled the Team’s Miraculous and given it to them permanantly so they can fight back if needed.
However, Hawkmoth and Mayura believe that Chloé is still on their side, and recruit her for further plans. Not knowing she’s still part of Team Miraculous and is just gathering all info she can as information.
Chloé finds out that Lila is also working for the villains, but isn’t entirely sure if Lila is truly a villain, or just in over her head.
Also featuring Sonic Fandub quotes because this AU started as a joke with that.
Fic: X Tags: X
Steal My Heart
Phantom Thief AU!
Ladybug and Chat Noir thieves by night. By day, Marinette and Adrien are detective partners using their resources to track down new targets and keep the police off their trail.
The twist? Ladybug and Chat Noir are rivals! Each have no idea that their rival is also their partner they might low-key be crushing on.
Fic: X Tags: X
Phantom!Chloé
One of two Danny Phantom crossovers! This one is a more legit crossover while the other is an AU.
Post Miracle Queen, Chloé accompanies her mother to some rich people gala type thing in America, hosted by Vlad Masters. Chloé wanders off, finds the hidden lab, and fucking dies. Well. Half way.
Naturally she gets dragged into the Drama that are the other Halfas. To the point that Vlad just straight up sponsors her class for a foreign exchange program. Now the entire Miracuclass is in Amity Park and dealing with these idiots.
Fic: X Tags: X
Lady Phantom
This is the other DP crossover, but it’s a full AU where instead of the Miraculous, it’s all Ghosts.
Mari is the Danny of this AU, with her parents having a Ghost Research lab in the basement where she gets fuckin zapped. The rest of the gang are the sidekicks helping with Ghost Weaponry.
Gabriel and Hawkmoth are two separate people, the latter being an Evil Ghost who is manipulating Gabriel to help fully free him. The Kwami are very powerful Ghosts that are near godlike(think how Clockwork is).
All the Akumas are also Ghosts, who Hawkmoth sets loose on Paris. They are seperate entities from the Canon ‘Akuma Victim’, but are fighting on behalf of said victim in an attempt to help them because their deaths were very similar to current events.
Tags: X
Duchess Noire
Similar to Lady Luck, but instead of replacing Mari as Ladybug, Chloé replaces Adrien as Chat Noir. (Adrien later gets the Bee).
Tags: X
Cerise Wings
Sabrina is Ladybug instead of Marinette. Chloé is Duchess Noire again. An interesting role reversal for the pair and gets them to learn to be Equals as both Heroes and Civilians.
Tags: X
Avatar AU
Exactly what it says on the tin. ML characters in the world of ATLA.
Kinda funky since Mari and Adrien are both the Avatar due to some bullshit ‘Split Avatar’ thing that I do not have room to explain all of rn.
The Kwami are also Humans in this.
Tags: X
Monster AU:
Again, exactly what it says on the tin. All the ML characters are various monsters.
Tag: X
Persona AU
ML but it’s Persona 5, basically. Palaces and all that. The Kwamis are the characters’ Personas.
Tags: X
Class Knows
Instead of putting the Miraculous in their rooms, Fu puts the Miraculous in Mari and Adrien’s backpacks. This means they pull them out in class and the whole gang learns who the Heroes are from day one.
Tags: X
Super DC AU
Several characters have Superpowers other than the Miraculous. Marinette’s parents and grandomther are retired Heroes, and Marinette herself inherited their Plant and Energy powers. Chloé has lightning powers because her mom had an affair with an NY Hero. Rose’s grandfather was a supervillain defeated by Mari’s family and she got his Shadow and Death powers. Lila is actually descended from a Fox Hero, but barely has any powers.
There is an offshoot of the main AU where Rose replaces Adrien as Chat Noir, becoming Shadow Noire.
Tags: X
Cousins AU
Marinette and Lila are cousins. Mari is used to Lila’s shenanigans, and Lila refuses to harm Family, so there’s no real threat.
Tags: X
Childhood Friends:
Marinette, Nino, Kim, Chloé, Adrien and Sabrina are a squad of childhood friends. Shenanigans ensue.
Tags: X
Mentor!Jalil
Jalil’s pendant is actually a Scarab Miraculous. Master Fu met him and decided to train him as Guardian years before the whole Hawkmoth thing happened.
He takes over being a more direct mentor to Ladybug and Chat Noir, with his own Hero Persona: Khepri.
Tags: X
Feast Redemption
Instead of being destroyed, Feast is broken out of the Peacock’s control and become a real creature. Marinette babysits him as a pet. She’s trying to keep him from eating things he shouldn’t, but she can just reach into his mouth to retrieve things if needed.
Everyone around her is. so confused by this creature she insists is just a weird looking cat.
Tags: X
Summer Nights
The summer when the Cesaire family moves to Paris, the apartment they are supposed to move into burns down. Luckily Marlena’s boss is very understanding, and offers them a few rooms in his hotel until they’re able to find and move into a different place.
While hanging around the hotel, Alya meets Chloé. They end up befriending each other, though encounter a slight hiccup when Alya sees how Chloé acts to their classmates. Nothing that some gentle guidance onto a redemption arc can’t fix! Also maybe a crush along the way.
Tags: X
Adribrina AU
Adrien and Sabrina have been dating since the spring before the series started, but are keeping it low-key because no one wants to subject Sabrina to the media storm and angry fangirls.
Marinette starts with a crush on Adrien, but finds out he has a GF and, while heartbroken, moves on. Also Chloé has a crush on her.
Some Kwami shuffle because Sabrina figures out that Adrien is Chat Noir and tracks down Fu to beg him to let her help keep her bf safe and he gives her the Fox Miraculous.
Tags: X
Red Velvet
Along with the Butterfly and Peacock, Fu loses the Black Cat. So Gabriel already has one half of the Miraculous he needs to save Emilie from the Magic Coma, and he uses the Black Cat instead, becoming the villain Tuxedo.
Fu tries to give the Ladybug to Marinette, but Tom was looking for something in her room and finds it instead. Refusing to let his daughter do something unsafe, he takes on the duty and becomes Red Velvet.
Through shenanigans(Plagg being a little shit), Marinette gets the Peacock and Chloé gets the Butterfly. Once she manages to fix the Peacock, Marinette becomes the Hero ‘Mockingbird’. Chloé doesn’t jump on the Hero Bandwagon until later, but the side effect of the Butterfly Miraculous’s Empathy edges her onto a Redemption Arc.

This is.... kind of turning some salt tropes on its' head? Like the salty 'Mari's bio dad is Bruce Wayne' but it's Chloé instead and no one's salted.
Between Season 4 and 5, Chloé's 'parents' don't want to deal with her anymore and send her off to live with her bio dad, Bruce Wayne. Shenanigans ensue as she is initially scared to trust them before finding out the family secrets and is down for being a Bat.
Meanwhile, the Miracuclass goes through Season 5 plot, incredibly concerned for where she dissappeared to. Especially as her 'parents' don't seem to care/are telling them to stop looking for her.

Chloé Split
Something(either an Akuma or something else) Splits Chloé into multiple different aspects of herself. All aspects go by different names, but most start with ‘Cl’. Catrina is the exception but it’s a fuck you to her because she’s the “Audrey 2.0′ personality.

Alien!Lila
Instead of being from Italy, Lila is from space. And obvs can’t tell people she’s not human. Her lying isn’t malicious and just her trying to fit in with the other kids and look normal. Yes her stories of meeting celebrities are normal because all her classmates have met celebrities or are famous themselves.

Public Knowledge
All Hero and Villain identities are known to the public. Though Miraculous can’t be just yoinked from people. They have to either be handed over willingly or won through combat.
