hey dude, totally fine if you don't like Izzy or how people engage with him as a character, but maybe don't put a super generalizing critical post in the tag? You're talking about Izzy fans as if they're not even there, when you know they 100% are.
I am talking about how the antagonist of the show is using homophobic slurs against queer characters and general apologists of him refuse to see it and you're telling me to not post it under that tag cause those fans might be there??

invipaledot: a gender that can only be described by the original 'pale blue dot' photograph
invirevidot: a gender that can only be described by the 'pale blue dot revisited' photograph
[pt: invipaledot: a gender that can only be described by the original 'pale blue dot' photograph
invirevidot: a gender that can only be described by the 'pale blue dot revisited' photograph. end pt]
for myself! colors are taken from the photos themselves, which i'll show and describe below. the first term is 'invi' from 'inviane' + 'pale' and 'dot', and the second is 'invi' from 'inviane', 'revi' from 'revisited' + 'dot'!
image id: the left image is the original 'pale blue dot' photograph from 1990, which is a photo taken of earth from roughly 3.7 billion miles away. the image has a brown/black background with three bands of light across it, all of which start at the top edge of the image and make a slight left diagonal to the bottom edge. from left to right, they are reddish, greenish, and yellowish. just over halfway down the yellowish band, in the center of the band, is an extremely tiny greenish dot, basically the size of one pixel. the whole image is somewhat fuzzy/staticy.
the right image is the 'pale blue dot revisited' photograph, which is an enhanced version of the 'pale blue dot' photograph created in 2020. the image's background is blue-black at the top and gradates to a light pale blue at the bottom. there are two very soft bands of bluish light on the left side of the image, which begin at the top edge of the image and make a slight left diagonal to the bottom edge. just right of the center is a brighter band of light that also forms a diagonal. in the center of the brighter band is an extremely tiny bluish dot, basically the size of one pixel. the whole image is somewhat fuzzy/staticy, but less so than the original. end id.
flag id: two flags with 7 stripes, with the fourth being extremely small. the left flag's stripes, in order, are very dark brown-grey, very dark dull green, dark dull brown, green-grey, dark dull brown, very dark dull red-orange, and very dark brown-grey. the right flag's stripes, in order, are very dark faded blue, dark dull blue, blue-grey, pale blue, blue-grey, dark dull blue, and very dark faded blue. end id.
banner id: a 1600x200 teal banner with the words ‘please read my dni before interacting. those on my / dni may still use my terms, so do not recoin them.’ in large white text in the center. the text takes up two lines, split at the slash. end id.

i’m normally much better at tracking who people are/matching identifiers to memories of people on tumblr than irl; my memory for faces and names is abysmal and unusually so even amongst people for whom that’s true. eg i know what photos of my girlfriend look like much more than what their face looks like, and urls and icons fall into the part of my brain that remembers text/images instead of names/faces…..
unless you have an icon that is predominated by a saturated/bright lesbian flag background, in which case i blend you together with all other persons who do so no matter how little sense that makes and have to actively remind myself to check the url rather than blithely assume they are all one singular gestalt
