The taste of Draco’s girlfriend’s blood is something she can’t get enough of. Said girlfriend being her long-time enemy and admittedly, embarrassingly long-time crush Harry Potter only seems to amplify the pleasure of drinking from her. So when Harry groans awake one morning, curling in on herself, and the metallic tang of her blood drifts up Draco’s nostrils, she thinks she has the perfect solution to help her lover deal with the pain. After all, when you’re a vampire, you’ll take all the blood you can get.

Draco couldn’t breathe.

The scarlet liquid ran down his arm, dropping from his fingers onto the soaked, bathroom floor. Mixing together in a slow waltz, the blood created flowers in the water, beautiful, spiralling roses that reminded him so much of his mother. His blood. Pure blood.

It looked the same as the water, only red.
