On the occasion of the International Day Against Homophobia, a few minor facts from the history of lgbt.
Also i want to recomended you a film that tells an interesting fragment of the lgbt story. It tells about the lgbt community's solidarity with miners during their strikes. It was an unusual meeting of two different worlds, I do not want to post it in order not to shorten the description.
Title of the movie: Pride

I think a lot of people will agree with how horrible all these prejudices are. Homophobia, sexism, and racism are harmful beliefs, in many cases without any proper grounds. And the biggest crap in all of this is justifying yourself by religion / ideology, and making hurt person feel guilty about something that they should not be ashamed of and over which they have no fucking choice . Believing in anything, even in a giant spaghetti monster, does not entitle you to decide what is wrong and what is right. So I'm going to use this meme to highlight a very important thing. Homophobia is not the fault of the person who experiences it, but the fault of the person who is homophobic.

People naturally reject things they don't understand. Sometimes they hurt others. And it’s just WRONG. This is an example of how people who don't understand something try to change it, even when there is no need to. No one has the right to decide who you love or who you can date (unless you want to date someone fucked up, then a voice of reason is welcome)

When the baby was not yet born, most people didn't care if it was a boy or a girl (maybe they hoped, but most of all they just wanted a baby). So if it didn't matter then, why does it now? If you have decided for a child to live in this world, let him live being happy and themselfs. EVERYONE DESERVES ACCEPTANCE.

This is quite a common problem. How do you reconcile religion with something like homosexuality, for example? Many religions are commonly thought to oppose this. Sometimes whole sermons are given in the church about how 'unnatural' it is and how God condemns it. My point is how much bullshit it is. Sometimes it’s hard but it is possible to reconcile faith with yourself. If it’s hard to you, your friend or family member you can contact us.

Just because you don't feel attract doesn't mean you're blind. There is no pattern you have to follow. You can look at people and find them attractive, that doesn't mean you feeling ATTRACTED to them. You can love or feel the attraction to anyone or to nobody. And the rest of the world can just FUCK OFF

Ace people are not cold, broken or hurt. They can love and be loved. Sexual attraction does not define feelings, so don't be an asshole and accept that not everyone needs sex in a relationship.
