i wake up thirsty and i think of palestine. i go to the doctor’s office and i think of palestine. a sign in the corner of the waiting room says ‘this is a place of healing, disruptive behavior will not be tolerated’ and i think of palestine. they probably weren’t thinking of bombs and snipers and mass graves in parking lots. i call my parents and i think of palestine. i drive to the grocery store and i think of palestine. i look at the clear blue sky and i think of palestine. i put the dishes away and i think of palestine. i feed my cat and i think of palestine. i listen to music and i think of palestine. i read poetry and i think of palestine. i text my friends and i think of palestine. i think of palestine and i think of palestine and i think of palestine

If I've learned anything from life, it's that sometimes, the darkest times can bring us to the brightest places.
I've learned that the most toxic people can teach us the most important lessons, that our most painful struggles can grant us the most necessary growth;and that the most heartbreaking losses of friendship and love can make room for the most wonderful people.
I've learned that what seems like a curse in the moment can actually be a blessing and that what seems like the end of the road is actually just the discovery that we are meant to travel down a different path.

Adulting is tough and the word 'Responsibility' is heavy itself. There's no easy way out. Some days are so beautiful and productive thay they shift your entire focus from all that isnt going right but some days are so terrible that you find it hard to get out of bed. Aren't we all just trying and hoping that tomorrow is gonna be better than today?

These days, it's like we're expected to accept people's ignorance and rudeness and if we do express ourselves or call them out on it we're the ones who are seen as crazy.

The older you get, the more quiet you become. Life humbles you so deeply as you age. You realize how much nonsense you've wasted time on. You start to accept things for what they really are. You stop forcing friendships and connections with people and just learn to GROW.

Sometimes we fall the hardest for the things we never had because they never had the chance to disappoint us like all the rest.

There's an opposite to déjà vu. They call it Jamais vu.
It's when you meet the same people or visit places again and again, but each time is the first.
Everybody is always a stranger. Nothing is ever familiar.

I lost everything trying to do right
My sanity, my hope and eventually the will to keep trying
What was shameful wasn't the way you loved me but the way I loved you
You could never match what I gave and deep down I always knew it.

She was beautiful for the way she thought. She was beautiful, for the sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved. She was beautiful for her ability to make other people smile even if she was sad. No, she wasn't beautiful for something as temporary as her looks.
She was beautiful, deep down to her soul.

I'm not all that smart, it takes me a while to understand things. But if I do have the time, I will come to understand you- better than anyone else in the world.

we're all killers.
we've all killed parts of ourselves to survive
we've all got blood on our hands
something somewhere had to die
so we could stay alive!

When the stars ask you what it is you want,
Why do you speak of a love that tears you apart?
Why do you crave a love that will break your heart?
Your soul is never beyond repair, so stay humble and be kind and eventually a love will come along and remind you of why you are ALIVE.

Sometimes the apology never comes when it is wanted
And when it comes it is neither wanted nor needed.
