"Sure!" She exclaimed. She was finally interacting with the guy who let his gaze fall upon her frequently. She would love to be friends with him.

"Y'know, we should hang out more, maybe. Let's make a plan for lunch someday! She slung her arm around his shoulder causing him to lightly blush up. She mistook the blush for the harsh cold.

"Like.. to hang out?"

"Yeah! For what else silly?" she laughed.

"Are you sure? I don't want to be a bother." Y/n said, the cold getting the best of her.

"No, no. You won't bother, here!" He offered his sweater to her, and when she accepted, He couldn't help but admire her beauty.

"Thank you." She smiled.

"It looks better on you. You should keep it!"

"No, it's fine, I'll return it."

"Chill, you can keep it-" he cut himself off upon seeing her looking somewhere else. Following her gaze, his eyes landed on him. With piercing eyes, and a dazzling smile, he called to y/n, "Hello, my love!".

He was everything. He was not.

Today, you bought Calla lilies for the cafe's vase.

They were for that cute freckled barista. every single one of the employees in that cafe knew there was something between you both, so they put up a vase just for you to put your daily flower finds in.

The freckled barista who greeted your early morning with an endearing smile every time you entered the coffee shop.

The freckled barista, who acts all lovey-dovey with you, joking around about how you both act like a couple.

The pretty, freckled barista, whose silly little 'love you, have a nice day!' notes on your coffee cups makes your dorm mates pester you about your 'boy toy' at the end of the day.

Your barista, who looks so lovely when he finishes taking other customers' orders.

And just like that, it became a place of comfort.

You entered the cafe a little earlier today. 8:47 am exactly.

You were going a little haywire, still clad in pajamas, you hastily walked over to the cafè, swinging the little bouquet of white flowers as its stem dripped in residue.

When you entered the bricked room and took in how dull its green accents looked, further noticing only a few lights switched on, a whirring noise filling the uncanny gloominess.

Footsteps echoed around the espresso maker, and you made your way to the flower vase.

To your surprise, it was already full of magenta lilacs. You assumed the early bird barista might've filled them.

"y/n! have some chai. It's on the house." you walked over to the familiar voice and realised it was ace. that same stupid smile graced his lips.

God, it made you want to evaporate.

beside the teacup, on the saucer, was a small card that read,

"I like you a lot too, let's go on a date" he caught onto your subtle advances. How delightful.

your tea now long forgotten, your arms propped up to support your torso, your lips brushed against his, and a quick and shy kiss left an aftertaste you got addicted to.

and to your soft lips? so did he.

content warning: me being inspired by this one poem that was in my english text book in 7th grade. idk tell me if i missed anything

Sanji couldn't sleep. His mind was in chaos, utter chaos.

He was attracted to every woman he saw, then why? Why were you tattooed into his brain so painfully than the rest? Was it the way you would gravitate towards him when danger would introduce itself? Or when you'd help him set the table? Maybe whenever he sees you cooking yourself a midnight snack, he gets the same frisson of serenity and married life. Either way, your name made his heart its home. Your surname was engraved into the nameplate, the bricky exterior accented with shades of dark green, hydrangeas littered across the front door, ranging from white to blue to pink to purple and although muffled, he hears you softly humming.

It's about 5 o’clock in the morning now, another hour left until the cook has to prepare breakfast, the Thousand Sunny being uncharacteristically quiet, empty of Luffy's antics. While the others peacefully slept, Sanji cursed his consciousness for bringing your delicate features into his dreams every second, he gripped his hair in frustration, groaning in annoyance.

Home and love, the words may be small but they meant so much to him. Four little letters hold onto each so tenderly that even when angels talk in heaven above, he's sure they have no words more sweet than home and love.

The blond man fidgets with the door handle to the kitchen, your face still translucently etched into his tired vision. He sighs and moves on to start cooking, to start the day. his crew mates have started to fill the empty kitchen with you being the last to enter, he smiles a bit, continuing to serve the others what they ordered.

he finally brings over your breakfast, little hearts cut out of your food from here and there, a tiny smiley pushed into your toast. At first you thought he served the breakfast for all the girls on the ship like that, but when Nami pointed out that consuming that much 'love' early in the morning was unhealthy, you peeked over to the navigators plate, seeing only a smiley on her bread, similar to yours, but that was it, no hearts and no 'love' for Nami.

you liked this sudden relevance, catching Sanji glancing towards you throughout the day, you decide to confront his favoritism for you.

Soft knocks rap at the door thrice, Sanji initially ignores them, his mind being a bit occupied, but when the knocks become impatient, so does he.

When the door opens, Sanji finds himself surprised to see you, the moonlight illuminating a part of your face.

Although it's been 24 years, he remembers that day very well. He's glad that you confronted him that night, because if you didn't, you wouldn't have been outside in the little kitchen garden watering the herbs and the hydrangeas in the verandah beside it.

you wouldn't have the thin gold band wrapped around your ring finger, a dark blue diamond encrusted onto the ring, The jewel glistening under the big bright Sun.

it was feburary again. that time of the year when all the companies profited off of cheesy couples and their love for each other. you don't mind this holiday, however, rintaro does. he doesn't like like the red colour in his face or the over priced pastries at the coffee shop. he doesn't mention it though, because he knows that you look forward to valentines day.

it's the 14th of feburary today, and rintaro has woken up to your green eyes glistening in the early hours of the day. he's overwhelmed, to say the least. your eyes look into his soul, waiting for him to acknowledge you, but all he does is stare.

"what?" you whisper-giggle at him as he playfully rolls his eyes and starts with his day.

“Ahhh, That trip to greece last year was amazing! Let’s go to Paris next!” she discussed.

When the funeral pyre lit, that is when muzan cried

a step out of infinity fortress during the day was like suicide, literally. Luckily, the moonlit grounds weren't off-limits and kibutsuji y/n would spend hours outside just admiring the white spider lilies at the banks of a pond. They were magnificent on their own, but not when compared to blue spider lilies.

she saw the stillness of the water, the small koi and the moon reflecting on the surface as satisfying, satisfying enough for her to forget about demons. unfortunately these short lived moments of euphoria were interrupted by the splattering of blood and screams that echoed all around the fortress.

tonight was like any other night, the screams to others may be horrifying, but it gave the female a sense of homeliness. she tilted her head up and closed her eyes, breathing in the metallic smell of the spider lilies and blood. a smile dancing on her lips.

“you know, you should help me find the blue ones instead of admiring the white ones." muzan spoke as his wife opened her eyes, her husband in her view.

"and maybe you should stop overworking akaza once in a while, no?"

"no, i like him. he's useful."

"i like him too! he's my favourite."

"you only like him because he worships the ground you walk on" the king smirked as y/n nodded in approval.

The male brought his hand, covered in blood, up to her face and smearing the red fluid onto her lips.

"For love, I would handle your sins."

"And for justice?" Muzan leaned in, head tilting in amusement.

"I'd show you mine" she finished, as the demon king dipped down to steal a bloody kiss.
