The vision of Jason Todd saying “I was a bad girl, I did some bad things” is seared into my brain.
Your laughing. The image of Jason with a massive rainbow bow on his head and glitter makeup has been imprinted on my psyche and you’re laughing.
"I couldn't be more disappointed with Gaby-Ann, she sewed rainbow sequins on the girls' costumes when we all agreed that they didn't fit with the subject matter of the choreography. Next time, we know who we can't trust."
Look I thought midnights was a decent album and she’s had some good songs but this batch of trash is just unforgivably bad. One could argue that her star is now on the decline especially since she has functionally run out of albums to resell. I know people categorize swift ones as a cult, and a lot of them are worse, but I’ve had many friends become completely turned off by her in the last few years and I think it’s proof she’s just not relatable anymore. Her brand was always sort of shilling to the same age bracket of girls/women as herself but like now she’s lost the plot because for some many people their thirties isn’t categorized by flying around the world and heavy romantic dramas, it’s settling into your career you will work for the next few decades, maybe if you are lucky buying a house, having kids, etc. Being rich and dramatic just is going to be a turn off for so many people.
Couple this with the last year or so of pretty negative press surrounding her, not boyfriend drama, actual criticisms of her character, and it makes sense why she is sort of in decline. Suing college students for posting public information that makes you look bad and dating racists/mysogenists contradicts your whole “women together feminism” shill.
And like she still has the audacity to go on shows and talk about people don’t like her because she is “boy crazy” or that she writes about relationships. No girl people don’t like you because you’re out of touch and have sort of outed your self as a run of the mill elitist snob.
cant believe they gave this woman enough money to ruin the environment for singing vapid shit of this caliber for over a decade. have some shame man. get a grip. what the hell are any of you even doing
Jason: oh so being an anti-hero is sexy and cool when your fuck buddies do it, but god forbid I-your SON-even touch a duffel bag full of heads. Is it the lack of tits B? Is it?
Bruce:
Jason:
Bruce:
Jason: 🤨
Bruce: never say that to me again *melts into darkness*
Dick: *muffled wheezing from medbay bed*
Jason: see how he didn’t answer?
Dick: *actually dead from his broken rib puncturing a lung*
Jason: *pokes dick* *pokes dick* *pokes dick*
Jason: if I had tits this would have never been an issue :/
The tragedy of it all is that it’s not just Bruce, or the other leaguers, it’s their children, their children’s children, generations coming and going in what must feel like the blink of an eye. Every few centuries a descendant who looks identical to Dick Grayson or Barry Allen or Oliver Queen appears just to be swallowed back up by the inevitability of their own mortality. Kon and Jon have watched the world that raised them come and go and morph into something new. They have raised their hero’s great great great grandchildren and put them in the ground.
Not to make this about something else but it reminds me of a Minfillia/Ryne in Shadowbringers. She’s died and reincarnated so many times that as much of a symbol of hope she has become to the people, her lives and deaths have broken the people closest to her.
Even trying to imagine that kind of grief feels like standing on the edge of a bottomless pit. It’s so all consuming and it makes me wonder how anyone could ever manage it. Humans just weren’t made to last, not just in the terms of being infinite or immortal but even for centuries. I think living for so long would be such a curse. At some point I think we just can’t adapt anymore, getting old, getting stuck in our ways. I don’t think it’s necessarily the biology of getting old so much as we can only go so far. Eventually we get comfortable and settle into routine. I can’t imagine what it would be like to watch the world become ever more alien.
Just like I can’t imagine being the last human. What would you do? The reality of it, being the last of our kind? What would there be to do? No one will ever understand the story you leave behind, if it even survives. To even imagine sitting in the shell of our species waiting for the inevitable end, is heartbreaking. And one day that will be the reality of it. Probably not for thousands, if not millions of years, but still. One day there will only be one of us left. Even on a smaller scale. One day their will be only on person who lives through covid or one gen zer left. How will the world remember us? Will they remember us? And what will be left when we are all gone? What will it all have been for?
The Last Justice League Meeting.
Clark: I wish I could stay longer...
Diana: You stayed long enough my friend make sure to give a kiss to Lois and Bruce for me when you see them

Ok, so I have a lot of feelings about Clark and Diana's friendship especially with the headcanon that Clark lives thousands of years due to the yellow sun and the fact that Diana is immortal.
That they are each other's constant during the centuries. That they are each other is only a reminder of the things they have created and built when history has forgotten their friends and coworkers and they are but myths.
And the bittersweet parting of Clark's final days where Clark wants to stay for Diana's sake even though he's more than ready to pass on and while Diana is sad to see him pass but so grateful to have a mortal friend for so long when her other mortal friends die so quickly.
