“Shi-”

Shigaraki slammed his hand on the bar table, “What!!!!??”

You smile and wrap your arms around Shigaraki.

“Hello~”

“Tch. What are you doing?” He didn’t try to push you off, he just let you hug him.

“Hugging you! Silly!”

“Well, don’t do that.” You roll your eyes and hug him tighter.

Shigaraki growls and grabs your arm to pull you off.

When your body was successfully removed from his, he pulled out his phone and started to play one of his video games.

“Hmpf.” You huff and push his phone away. Your leg swung over his lap, making you straddle him.

“Gkk-” He blushes from behind his hand-mask and tries to get you off of him.

“Don’t- gah- don’t move!!” He struggled for a bit before he fell back, with you soon following onto the floor.

The hand fell from his face, revealing his ruby-red eyes to you.

“Pfft- Shiggy! You look like you’ve seen a ghost!” You laugh, his face only inches from his.

His hands migrate to your hips, pinky lifted so his quirk doesn’t activate.

“Tch. Get off… woman…”

“Haha, was so flustered, Shiggy?”

“I…” Shigaraki chokes and tries to move you off of his lap.

“Shi-”

“You… you’re an idiot!” He pulls you up and forces you against a nearby wall.

“Shigaraki…?” You stare up at him.

“I think I’m in love with you and that scares me half to death.“

You smile and kiss the tip of his nose.

“It’s about time you realize, I’ve been trying to get your attention all week, Silly.”

“Tch. Shut up…”

“Love you too.”

“I didn’t mean to, I did it on impulse!”

Dabi tried to soothe you as a scream ripped through your throat. Your entire body was in pain, burns blistering on your arms and legs. Dabi hadn’t meant to...but when you reached for the knife on the kitchen counter he flipped. You were now crumpled in his arms on the tiled kitchen floor, clinging onto his white tank top for tear life as he placed his navy jacket over your shaking shoulders.

“I’m so sorry...please...forgive me...”

You listened to him and as the pain melted away slowly a rush of adrenaline hit you like a train. He had hurt you, Dabi had hurt you! You were only reaching for the knife to place it in the sink, it was dirty from cooking, and you were met with this.

You soon realized what you had to do, you knew being with him would only lead to more and more pain and suffering down the line. You thrashed against Dabi as he held you close now, trying to calm you down. His arms were like a cage, your body so small compared to his muscular build.

“Let me go Dabi!”

You demanded with every ounce of your strength going into your next few moves. You managed to wiggle out of his hold for only a moment before you were pushed to the floor. One hand held your arm behind your back while the other gripped your hair, pushing your cheek into the floor. You were numb to the pain in this adrenaline but your arm felt like it was twisted in a way that arms shouldn’t naturally go in, you prayed Dabi didn’t break it.

“Babe, if only you would listen...”

Dabi cooed as he held your hair tightly in his hands. Your body relaxed as you had no energy left in it. Maybe if you listened then Dabi would let you sleep in peace for tonight. You needed to do this for your own advantage.

“That’s good, darling...”

He smiled as he picked you up and carried you to the bedroom you two shared. He was content, happy, with your temper tantrum being over. You were terrified but at least you could sleep in peace. You didn’t care if your arm was in pain or the burns made you wince at every movement, you wanted to slip away into a world away from this monster.

[Summary: Shoto purses the reader after they escape, but when he catches them the reader wants to go back, much to his surprise and delight.]

You could only run.

You had to run.

Run.

That was your scrambled and jumbled thoughts as you ran. It didn’t matter if your lungs burned, you couldn’t stop. No matter what, no matter how much your feet ached or your legs went numb.

You couldn’t rest while he was there.

But why did it hurt so much?

Why did you find every step to be more agonizing because of the heavy heart you held with every inch of distance you put between you and Shoto? You hated him more than anything, and yet you found yourself slowing to a stop in the middle of the street.

Rain drenched you and made your clothes soaked while your hands clenched into fists. You could feel your nails digging into your palms as footsteps approached from behind you.

“Babe…” A calm and stoic voice said before the footsteps stopped. Shoto stood a few feet behind you with a puzzled expression. Why did you stop? You had been running for hours now, so why stop not? Your efforts would all go to waste, so it confused this man.

“…Sho…Shoto!” You called out as you turned around quickly and ran towards him, collapsing into his chest. Shoto was caught off guard but held you close as he wrapped his arms around you. He soothed you with soft “Shhh” noises while also twirling the ends of your hair.

“It’s alright, babe. I’m here…” He held you close to his form as you cried into his sweater, clutching it tightly as you let out muffled cries and screams. “Shoto! I was…I missed you!” You shouted to him, not seeing how his concerned expression turned to one of satisfaction. You had missed him? It was a dream come true!

“Let’s get you home, you’re absolutely soaked…” He said as he pulled you away from his chest. You looked so vulnerable there, tears streaked down your face while your nose was runny. He used his thumb to wipe away the fat tears from your sparkling eyes and held a soft smile. “I’m not mad, I promise.”

He wouldn’t even have to teach you a lesson after this, if anything it seemed you finally realized he just wanted to love you, not hurt you! He was content with his, scooping you up on his arms as he carried you home. You fell asleep along the way and he couldn’t help but grin to himself as your breaths came in a pattern, the slow rising and falling of your chest matching that rhythm.

“Let’s go home, babe.”

The sight of blue flames filled your vision, your breath catching in your throat as you stared at the source of these gorgeous flames. The male who was emitting them gave you a glance, eyes widening a fraction as he scanned your form.

"Touya!"

A soft voice called to a red-haired boy. The boy turned to the voice, a grin on his face. The smile didn't reach his eyes though.

It had been a normal night. You were getting take out after a long day of work. Along the way home with your food in hand, you got caught up in something, a villain attack and you were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. What you didn't expect was to be staring down a villain with your discarded food on the ground next to you.

"You're...you're that villain..."

"Hey."

He spoke shortly, fingernails picking at the bandages on his arm. The boy was covered in them, the only places there not being any was his face which had the red blisters of burns becoming scarred.

You had seen this man's face all over the news as of late. He would often leave his victims burnt to a crisp with hardly much of a body left. Your knees went weak and you fell towards the ground, however, a strong arm caught you.

The villain had rushed to catch you before you fell and for some odd reason, you didn't try to push him away.

"You would be correct..." he said in a low whisper before picking you up bridal style. Little had you known this wasn't just a villain.

"You're leaving?"

The redhead turned to look at his friend, watching how the e/c eyes of the one he held closest refused to meet his own blue ones.

"I'm sorry Touya, but I'm studying abroad...I'll find you again..."

A single tear welled up in the eye of the villain carrying you. He made no motion to wipe it away but to let it fall down his face as he held you close.

"You found me...huh?"

You could only hear that before there was a distinct ringing in your ears, vision blurring as the villain became nothing but blue and purple blurs.

The boy placed his hand on his friend’s shoulder, pushing some h/c out of their face. He pressed a small kiss to his friend’s forehead.

“I love you, y/n.”

“Touya...”

You gasped to yourself as your eyes fluttered open. The beeping of a machine alerted you to the fact that the room around you was white. There were cabinets in the back of it and some kind of clipboard on the wall. A machine was beeping next to your bed and it seemed you weren’t alone. A nurse stood in the entrance of the room before rushing to your side quickly.

“Sorry dear, you took a rather nasty fall and bumped your head...but you can be discharged soon.”

“What about Touya?”

You asked without thinking, sitting up rather too quickly. A lightheaded feeling washed over your already drained body. The nurse just encouraged you to lay back down.

“Touya? None of the victims were under that name dear. Just get some more rest, alright?”

You soon realized who you saw, or wanted to see, must’ve simply been a dream because the scarred face and raven hair of that villain couldn’t have become what was left of your childhood friend.

The one who helped you when you fell down. The one who dried your tears when you sobbed your heart out. The one who you shared your first kiss with.

But he was gone. He was the one who you loved, but as it always goes...

When you love someone, it hurts to lose them.

Bad Handwriting

{shinso hitoshi x reader}

{fluff}

A little drabble I had to indulge in, don’t mind me~

{word count: 511}

It started with a secret note that was meant to be for your eyes only.

You often wrote notes that described the indigo hair and lazy eyes of none other than your classmate Shinso Hitoshi.

You always would write of him, how much you liked him and how e seemed so kind and sweet. It was your little crush, your secret crush.

However when you found the little note was not in your bag but in the hands of none other than that very same indigo haired boy you felt your heart stop.

His fingers held the paper with a pink hue on his face as he scanned the room. You broke eye contact with the note before his gaze fell on you. If you were staring he might've made the connection and you weren't sure you could handle that.

"Shinso! What ya got there?"

Kendo asked as she walked up to him. Shinso was quick to retract the note into his pocket and the blush on his face left quickly.

"Nothing, just a paper I dropped."

Kendo new he was lying but shrugged it off and went to talk to some of your other classmates. That was close, too close.

And did he say he dropped it?

No, he must've found it on the floor and luckily read it before anyone could see it. He most likely wanted to defend your feelings, though he surely had no idea it was you, and not humiliate you in front of the whole class.

You silently thanked him for that, letting your hair fall in front of your face as you tried to focus on a homework assignment and act like you hadn't given Shinso a second thought. While you wanted to tell him about your feelings the thought of Shinso rejecting you made your heart hurt too much.

This lead you to just crush on him from the sidelines. You had interacted with the boy plenty of times before to justify these feelings. There were times you two trained during class, times he helped you study, and of course that time he cheered you on during the sports festival.

All these occurrences and interactions lead your heart to skip beats whenever he glanced in your direction. It was an innocent crush so you just fed into it with those notes and letters which only you would ever see.

However what you didn’t expect was a chair being pulled in front of your desk, none other than Shinso himself sat in that very chair. His eyes scanned your desk before glancing back up at you. This caught you off guard and make your body tense.

“You wrote the note, didn’t you?”

His ask made your face turn all hues of red. Seemed he got his answer as a small grin flickered onto his face. He stood up, left the note on your desk, and made his way back to the door. Before he started to walk towards the door however he whispered something quietly to you.

“Only you have that bad of handwriting.”

A Day Off

{hawks day off headcanons}

{nothing but fluff}

“Can I get another Hawks headcanon? But this time what would hawks be like on his day off? Tysm!!!”

When Hawks gets a day off it’s rare so he treasures that day with you!

He’ll sleep in with you until you drag him out of bed around a reasonable time and after much convincing, he’ll make breakfast.

He cooks a feast of pancakes and you two will eat across from each other at the table in silence until he asks about how your night went. He normally has late-night patrol so often times he doesn’t see you while you’re still up during the night. That makes him wanna check in with you!

You’ll end up cuddling with him for the rest of the morning. He’ll pull you onto his lap on the couch and lay down, your head leaning on his chest and his hands twirling the ends of your hair.

If he’s feeling more energetic by afternoon then expect a flight across the city sky! He’ll hold you close as he soars through the air with you, spiraling and cutting through the sky with ease as he takes you to see the sky from how he views it every day. He doesn’t mind doing this even if it��s his day off, if it’s for you then he doesn’t care. Your smile is worth it.

By the time it’s getting dark he’s hugging you from behind while you’re trying to cook dinner. You whine and complain that you can’t properly cook if his arms are wrapped around your waist but he just nuzzles his head into your shoulder and you give a defeated sigh before just letting him do this.

After dinner he’s once again a cuddle bug, laying his head in your lap as you scroll through the shows on TV while he’s demanding affection from you. You’ve considered pushing him off the couch but he would probably bring you down with him so you think twice when it comes to that.

As the night gets late you end up falling asleep on the couch so after taking in how cute you look curled up with a decorative pillow, he picks you up and lays you in bed. He’ll lay down with you and holds you close until he drifts off into sleep, a huge grin on his face from the amazing day.
