A while back, I said on here that I hate Morris dancers and someone replied implying that I'm a spiteful person who hates other people having fun. Bare in mind at no point did I say that others aren't allowed to enjoy Morris dancing, or that you're a/an [insert insult here] if you do. It's not wise to assume someone's personality based on a single post.

It's 2:30am on Christmas Day. I can't get to sleep, not because it's Christmas, but because I always struggle to get to sleep. So here is a late-night thought. The one thing that has been weighing on my mind for the past couple of years, is 'everybody says "things get better", but when is that supposed to start?'. Where is the light at the end of the tunnel? I want to have hope, but it's hard to reignite the fire when there's no fuel in sight.

There are so many other things I want to say, but I don't really like talking about this stuff. Maybe I'll end up deleting this post. We need to be more open about our mental and emotional wellbeing, but I don't like how vulnerable it makes me feel when I talk about this stuff.

I know this guy who's a decent bloke and all, but he does some strange things. One of them is he'll recount a story in a way that makes him seem tough. Like I remember he was telling our mates about an argument he was having with someone. He said "...and the people there had to hold me back from punching him"... And I was thinking to myself '...no we didn't..?'

I can't read minds so maybe he wanted to punch him but didn't act on it. My point is that sometimes when people retell stories they make themselves seem better or tougher and it's just a bit odd.

Personally I think given that Colin Baker is a Wycombe Wanderers fan, the Sixth Doctor should've had the blue coat as the main outfit.

I don't know if this post is just going to attract bots for related services or whatever, but I feel I need to say it. I have given so many pieces of CV writing advice from people that has later been contradicted by someone else's CV writing advice that it makes me scream internally.

So I've seen the term "Globohomo" used by people on the right and far-right a few times now. I guess it's to be used how Alex Jones uses the term "globalists", only gayer.

However, "Globohomo" is so goofy-sounding and looking as a word that I find it nearly impossible to take seriously.

Finally got down to writing my thoughts on Knives Out (2019). I've been very busy and also (perhaps paradoxically) lacked motivation, so it's taken a while.
