it's been days since you've last seen him, volleyball has been really kicking his ass, so by the time he gets home, you're typically fast asleep. He feels bad, he really does.. He wants to give you the world, you're the one girl that is able to deal with his tendencies, his habits, his personality. He sees you as his home, he thinks as he's caressing your cheek.
He can't help but think that regardless of you having your own full-time job, you still make sure that your shared home is clean, laundry is folded the way he likes and put away, dinner is ready for him when he gets home usually with a note with something along the lines of i hope you're doing well, that you love him, etc. Tonight's note said "Make sure you eat, love. I'll always be waiting for you :)"
It kills him knowing that you're basically alone.
But the times you guys are together before that guilt feeling can pool in his abdomen, you're quick to shut it down.
A few days prior,
"Omi, it's okay. I'm okay, we're okay." you assure seeing your boyfriend looking a little more tense than usual.
"Are you sure..? I know I've been neglecting you, unintentionally." he looks at you with those droopy eyes you fell in love with.
You touch his two little moles that you oh-so adore and nod, "I know what I signed up for... And I'm in this for the long run, so if it has to be like this for a short time, I'll be okay." you said smiling softly
Before you could lean into him, he pulls you close.. Closer than what you're used to with him. Inhaling your scent, he nods slowly.
"I'll be sure to make it up to you, just give me some more time and I will be sure to make this all worth it," he whispered pecking at your neck
You knew he would. He wouldn't say anything just to half-ass it, especially when it came to you.
Since after all, you were the stars to his dark sky, being the only nightlight in his life.

I’m copy and pasting from the other accounts i used to also co manage since the feelings are the same throughout the 3 of them,, but here we go!
Admin owl here, it’s been awhile. A long while at that. All admins honestly just got busy with our lives and the haikyuu kingdom just.. died. I’m not sure where Admin Cat is, how she’s doing, and everything in between but I was in uni at the time, i graduated and i’m working a lot now. not going to lie, my love for haikyuu died a lot, and REALLY REALLY fast! recently tho, it’s resurfaced just as fast as it died and i have been obsessed with it and it’s always on my mind now. some of you know i was insanely obsessed with kiyoomi starting the second Kuroo mentioned him at the camp. I don’t know why but i’m so... happy that he showed up more in the manga and in the anime! I recently brought myself to finish the last of the manga (that’s how much i was uninterested at the time i went AWOL). I do apologize to everyone who follows this blog who had submitted requests because up until today, our bio said submissions were open despite us both being gone. And to everyone who never unfollowed us (probably because didn’t realize LOL) i thank you guys too for sticking around. I am going to be writing again, please be patient with me as I’m getting back into it again and need time to really collect my thoughts. haha. The hardest part about loving Kozume Kenma was that you felt as if he would never love you back. You know Kenma tends to keep to himself; he is fairly reserved. You know Kenma doesn’t care much about anything, his video games aside. You know he doesn’t find volleyball fun, nor does he find it boring. You know Kenma preder to stay out of social situations, yet he ends up finding himself in a lot of them.
Even if you weren’t sure on his feelings, Kenma was.
When Kenma has texted you asking if you wanted to come over you had completely flipped out. Your face hurt from the smile that was plastered on. And when Kenma told you that it would just be the two of you, your face was throbbing from redness. Your response to Kenma was a short “yes”. You washed your face and really hoped that the blushing would stop by the time you got to his home. Kenma didn’t live far from you, and it wasn’t all that hot outside either, so a red face would be unusual.
When you arrived at Kenma’s house, you were very hesitant on whether you should ring the doorbell, or knock. Then your thoughts starts wandering and asking, “What is someone ends up hanging out with us after all?” As much as you loved all of your friends, this was really one of the first times you and Kenma had hung together – just the two of you.
As if Kenma senses your anxiety, the door opens before you even had the chace to make any sort of sound that you had arrived. You wave a hello as a small smile plays at your lips as you look at Kenma. Kenma is oddly dressed in casual clothing: jeans and a plain, black v-neck. You are a bit confused, for Kenma usually didn’t dress up when people came over to his house. He usually just lounged around in sweats and a shirt. Well sometimes a shirt. Words cannot explain how you felt when you hung out with Kenma where he wasn’t wearing a shirt.
Kenma motions you to come inside and you follow. Kenma waits for you to take off your shoes before he heads to his room, to which you follow. “So, what did you want to do?” You ask him, your voice clearly showing how anxious you are as you enter his room.
“Uh,” Kenma starts off. You look around his room. It’s clean – too clean; Kenma’s room usually had some sort of pile of clothes lying around, but this wasn’t the case. All of his clothes were put away, his bed was made, and it even looked like the floor had recently been cleaned. Either the Kozume family had cleaned their whole house today, or Kenma had done this himself. “I actually wanted to talk to you about something.”
You hum in response, sitting on his neatly made bed. You trace the pattern on his comforter for a few seconds due to silence. Your thoughts are interrupted by Kenma grabbing both of your hands. Shocked, you look at Kenma as your face flushes. He’s holding your hands.
“I love you.”
“Oh?” You stutter as you turn your hot face away from him.
“Please don’t turn away from me.” Kenma pleads, his grip tightening on your hands. You face him, a smile on your face.
“Do you really?”
Kenma nods. “I love you, I always have.”
ANGST (HAHAHAHAHAHA):
You and Kenma sit on your living room couch. It has been silent for a while and you can feel how nervous Kenma is. You had called him over because you had to tell him; you can’t keep doing this to him. The two of you had a hand intertwined with each others and it is hurting you emotionally.
“Kenma, I think we should break up.”
The grip on your hand loosens and without a second notice, your hand is empty. You look down and see Kenma is playing with his – the hand that was recently holding yours.
The silence is unbearable and Kenma lets out a shakey breath before getting up off the couch. You don’t dare to look at him, but your peripheral vision catches him stop at your front door, put his shoes on, and open it the door. You notice Kenma hesitates as he stares outside.
“I love you,” Kenma’s voice is shakey. “I always have.”
And then he leaves without another word.

Usually his mom made it for him, or he bought it from somewhere. Tōru is a vampire this Halloween, and you are vampiress. Tōru made your costume, too, and you do admit that he did a good job (although he did have his mom help a couple times).
Tōru is too busy admiring himself in the mirror to notice that you are sneaking up on behind him, or so you thought. He turns around quickly to face you, and hides his face with his cape, then he spreads his arms out wide and hisses before he attacks you with a hug and kisses.
You’re a bit shocked at first since you thought he didn’t notice you, but you melted in his grip and giggled as he kissed all over your face. He stops and looks at you with a smile, but you pout and say, “You missed.” You point to your pouty lips and he gives you a peck.
“You look really, really cute in your costume.” Tōru comments, red dusting his face as he analyzes you.
“You did a good job on making them,” You smirk. “even if you had your mom help you.”
“Oh hush, you!” Tōru laughs as he tries to cover your mouth with his hand, but you swat it away.
You crinkle your nose as he continues to try and hush you. “Bite me!” you shout playfully.
“Oh really now? I didn’t think you were into that kind of thing. Why didn’t you tell me earlier, hm?” Tōru smirks, and he puts his hands on your waist.
Blushing furiously, you pull his face closer to yours. “Why don’t we find out?”

We will also keep things gender neutral even if specified though if it’s something that would be the same for all genders of s/o (ex: personality related things). so basically if it doesn’t need a specific gender for something mentioned then everything will be gender neutral
If we don’t like an ask or we can’t find any inspiration to write for it, it will be deleted

We generally do not do matchups! the exception for this is if we hold a follower milestone event or something similar!
IMPORTANT: Talking to us about personal things for a long time through asks kinda clogs up the dash and makes it harder for people to find our actual haikyuu content. We’re big on mobile accessibility and are aware that it’s hard to find a blacklist tool for a mobile device.(we tag all things that aren’t scenarios/headcanons as non scenario or chit chat for users who do have blacklist enabled) It’s fine if it’s a few asks for a sleepover night but if it’s any more than that we’ll have to ask you just to send a tumblr message to one of our personal blogs to continue chatting with us!!!!! We absolutely love talking with you but we’d like to keep this blog as closely related to scenarios and headcanons as possible except on sleepover nights
As a new schedule, we will be posting something at least twice a month! so you can expect something in between the 1st and 15th of the month and another from the 16th and 31st

Mod owl: character ships (with s/o), fluff and/or angst headcanons/scenarios, nsfw, poly relationships, soulmate au’s, i’m pretty open-minded.
Mod cat: character ships (with s/o), fluff and/or angst headcanons/scenarios, nsfw (I’ll definitely try my best at these), poly relationships, any au, some crossovers (if i know them), pretty much anything???
