My YTTD Yearly Pride Headcanons Because My Opinions Change With The Moon Cycle

Sara Chidouin - Sara is a bisexual demigirl.

Joe Tazuna - Joe is pansexual and accidentally genderfluid. They just started causally referring to themselves with all pronouns and Sara never questioned it. He didn't even realize he was doing it.

Gin Ibushi - Gin doesn't think about dating so he isn't sure of his sexuality. He doesn't care much about pronouns either. He'd respond to anything.

Keiji Shinogi - Keiji is bisexual and refers to himself with he/him pronouns. However, he does not care enough to correct you if you use she/her or they/them with them.

Alice Yabusame - Alice is trans and pansexual. He'll date any gender, but needs to have an emotional connection with them first to feel any attraction.

Reko Yabusame - Reko uses any and all pronouns while being the queen of the lesbians.

Nao Egokoro - Nao identifies as WLW but it stresses her out to consider putting an exact label like lesbian or bisexual on herself. Instead she simply dates who she wants to with no further explanation. She uses she/they pronouns.

Kazumi Mishima - Mishima is unlabeled. He thinks life is a very complicated thing and therefore doesn't want to confine himself in a box. He uses he/him pronouns in reference to himself, but wouldn't shy away from using other pronouns if someone used them on him.

Q-taro Burgerberg - Q-Taro is gay but hasn't had enough romantic experience to fully realize it. He thinks the "deep connection" he's had with some men is a good friendship when really it's been a crush on his end. He uses he/him pronouns.

Kai Satou - Kai is gay and gender nonconforming.

Kanna Kizuchi - Kanna is a she/they lesbian if I've ever seen one.

Shin Tsukimi - Shin is asexual and gay. He's only ever used he/him pronouns, but it would hit differently if someone referred to him with they/them pronouns.

Dolls

Ranmaru Kageyama - Ranmaru is trans and bisexual. He tends to be more interested in women, but a few men have caught his eyes before.

Naomichi Kurumada - Naomichi is asexual and gay. He uses he/him pronouns.

Anzu Kinashi - Anzu is pansexual and doesn't realize that everyone else isn't. She uses she/her pronouns.

Mai Tsurugi - Mai is a lesbian who's not above flirting with men to get her way. The song "Money, money, money. Must be funny. In a rich man's world." is ringing in her head every time she seduces a man into making a sale. She also uses she/her pronouns.

Shunsuke Hayasaka - He's the token cishet and a confused but supportive ally. He's the "She uses they/them pronouns :)" type. He's trying his best and will get there in time.

Hinako Mishuku - Hinako does not want her sexuality or pronouns to be perceived.

Kai Satou (YTTD) bedroom headcanons:

Can be applied to any pairing that includes Kai Satou (f/m, m/m, gn/m, as well as "/Reader" or "/OC")

some keywords: edging, dry humping/clothed, petplay (mild), praise, oral, bedtalk, romantic focus

Kai is the type of guy to want to completely please his partner, and I mean, completely. He's very sincere and serious about it. He's dedicated and he'll even say as much, even if he might blush and slightly stammer.

Kai is the type of dude to completely nerd out over sex. He will actually research the anatomy of his partner. We're not just talking erotic images and stories, but full on wikipickia articles and science publications, books and articles about it too.

And when it comes to studying erotica, he'll actually specifically look for the kind he thinks his partner may like. He'll be conducting his research specifically with his partner in mind.

He will try to get the potentially useful techniques down beforehand, so that he can give his partner the pleasure he 100% thinks they deserve.

He definitely overthinks it beforehand and while it's for selfless research purposes, of course he'll get incredibly horny over the thoughts. He's definitely not made of stone.

And even if he can matter of factly research the entirety of the phenomenon that is known as sex, it's not like he can just bluntly talk about it as is. It's an intensely intimate matter. He'll have to take a couple of breaths in between words if he's talking about sex using more direct language.

And alright, maybe his idea of sex is a tad idealistic, which ties to his high standards of his own ability to please.

Just...sex nerd Kai. Kai has a neutral to positive overall attitude towards sex and expressions of sexuality. It's just that he's private about it.

While Kai may shy away from speaking out loud, he sure doesn't shy away from the actual act once he drops his guard and gains momentum. He's the type of guy to go full in and actually apply his theoretical knowledge of sex he's gathered beforehand. He will completely lose himself in the act.

Every time I think of QPR headcanons my mind IMMEDIATELY goes to Akane/Fuyuhiko, they have an unbreakable bond and no one can convince me otherwise ok?ok 🔪

Ibuki/Hajime and Ibuki/Kazuichi are incredibly solid too.... HM I'm realizing I tend to do this when I hc a character as gay/lesbian, theoretically like a contradictory ship dynamic for them, and am too uncomfy with it being romantic due to my personal sexuality headcanons LMAO.

I'm a big fan of aroace Rantaro and Kirumi so I tend to think about queerplatonic stuff for them both whenever I see interesting ships for either of them! MOSTLY the two of them together, (where my Amatojo's in the audience at...) or Kirumi/Maki, Rantaro/Kaito, Rantaro/Miu, etc there's probably more

Maybe for Saimota too but hmm, I've never figured out if I like them just as a romantic ship better or not. tasty either way i think 👌

General rules to follow

When requesting, keep in mind I am human too, I'll respond slowly to some while quickly to others, so please be patient

Generally, i will write anything, so long as I'm given a name, a fandom and what kind of f/o it is I'm writing for, since i can always research how to characterise a character

IF you request NSFW headcanons, please note i will not do any sort of age regression in a sexual manner

A random headcanon: literally so bad with headcanons, i can only come up with full on scenes fuuuck. think hiyori made a deal out of shin having a weak stomach and put the thought in his head that his parents must be so annoyed with him for having to cook extra, or having to resort to cooking bland meals all the time so their son wont get sick. shin already thinks of himself as a burden, but when he gets home after a long day with his bestie and sees his parents had a big fancy dinner w tons of leftovers for themselves he just feels worse

General Opinion over said character: thought he was so annoying throughout the whole game up until the end of the second trial. his attachments to kanna and how his plan all backfired, the tragedy… it did tug at my heartstrings 🙄 then midori gets introduced and im utterly obsessed with him because yippiee finally he gets some punishment. can say only through their dynamic i started having some sympathy for him

Very specific gender + sexuality YTTD headcanons

Main cast only (besides Kanna + Gin)

Sara - bisexual (fem lean), non binary (she/they)

the type of person to be like “I’m a girl in the same way a tomato is a fruit.”

Joe - bisexual (no lean), non binary demiboy (he/they/any)

Sara told him that she’s non binary and uses she/they and Joe was like “WHOA you can use multiple pronouns???” then changed his to he/they so they could match. He doesn’t care what pronouns people use though.

Keiji - bisexual (male lean), cis (he/him)

Keiji thought he was heteromantic bisexual for a WHILE but that was just internalized homophobia telling him that it’s a little weird to marry a man as a masculine man. But I’m reality he has a preference for men LOL

Reko - lesbian, non binary (they/he/she)

If you ask reko for her pronouns she always responds with “any unless you’re a man. If you’re a man don’t call me she.”

Nao - lesbian, non binary (she/they)

Nao had really bad comphet growing up so she’s a baby lesbian and Reko is obsessed with this. Reko loves talking to her about “lesbian culture” and Nao loves it too.

Qtaro - gay, cis (he/him)

Just found out what non binary people were in the death game and had never met a trans person before it. He’s still confused but he’s got the spirit.

Kai - gay, non binary (they/them/any)

Kai responds to being asked for his pronouns with “whatever you find most convenient.”

Mishima - gay, cis (he/him/his)

Take note that I added the “his” at the end because he would do this when asked for his pronouns. He’s so cis it’s unreal but he’s a gay elder he knows the history like the back of his hand.

Shin - transmasc gay, (he/they)

While in his Sou persona, he responds to being asked for his pronouns with “oh you know, nor/mal” and do a dumb little Ben Shapiro smirk.

Alice - transmasc gay, (he/him)

He has never had a long term boyfriend but this is on purpose. He hasn’t found anyone on his level. He’s got high standards as he should.

Honestly I don’t think about them too often. But here’s some headcanons for the yttd cast.

Sara- Lesbian. I originally made this headcanon because I hated all ships between her and the male cast so I was like “Actually, she’s a lesbian” but then I got obsessed with the headcanon because she’s associated with swords and also Little Miss Perfect by Write Out Loud being her theme song, and that she really loves She ra and the princesses of power and exclusively watches anime with yuri undertones and then I was like “lesbian Sara is my passion.” And then 3B came out and I started to actually like Ransara so

Ranmaru- He/him lesbian. Also because he’s gnc.

Alice- He is trans. That island event was trans as fuck. Ranger hate crimed him during the spa scene. Also, his hair is pan flag colors so he is pansexual.

Nao- her pallet is also pan flag colors so pansexual. Her and Alice are pan buds.

Hayasaka- I’m just really attached to the idea of him being aroace for some reason. I got the idea that “What if Hayasaka was aroace and Gin hissed at everyone who flirted with him?” And I went 🥺 immediately and decided I loved that headcanon and would die for it

Reko- lesbian, she mentions a dislike of men a few times, (not enough that she’s a man hating lesbian like SOME PEOPLE in this fandom like to portray but) she’s clearly not interested in them, and enjoys the company of Nao more

Hinako- So uh, Hinako is part of the reason I found out I’m non-binary so I headcanon her as non binary. Pay it forward.

Alice Yabusame - Demisexual.

Reko Yabusame - Reko is the person who scream’s LGBT to me the most, which is very impressive considering the rest of the cast. But anyways I HC her as a lesbian.

Nao Egokoro - Lesbian.

Kazumi Mishima - He’s MLM but doesn’t want to use an exact label like gay or bi.

Q-taro Burgerberg - I HC Q-Taro as gay, but I could also see him being a supportive albeit confused ally. He seems like the type to say “I don’t get why people are homophobic. Love is love. It’s their choice so let them make it.”. Like honey-no. He’s a little confused but he’s got spirit.

Kai Satou - All I’m saying is two characters have implied that he’s gay and he hasn’t corrected either of them.

Kanna Kizuchi - Baby lesbian.

Shin Tsukimi - Gay. All LGBT Shin headcanons are very valid because I refuse to believe a straight man sits like this:

I also might do a limited number of edits since it isn’t one of my sources (like 3 icons instead of 9).
