I’m not a football guy, it’s not my flavor of sportsball, I’m more of a baseball guy. But, me and my mom were bored this Super Bowl Sunday, and my mom’s team she kinda casually follows was playing. We didn’t watch the first half, and thank god, shit was boring with a 10-3 score. However, my mom turned the game on in the third quarter. Why? Well, because she discovered there was a Nickelodeon broadcast.

And no, not just that the broadcast was also on Nickelodeon, this was a fully produced thing.

Oh, I should also mention, Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star were LITERALLY guest commentators on this broadcast.

I don’t know how much of a Nickelodeon kid you are, but this was honestly not bad.

Some highlights include:

- Spongebob and Patrick not knowing anything about football and just doing references instead like how they brought up the rookie kicker’s age was 24 and went into the “What’s funnier than 24? 25!” joke and one of the announcers saying “This is the Super Bowl!” after a good play and Patrick went, “No, this is Patrick.”

- The first down line was called the Pineapple line, the field goal had a net like it was a jellyfishing net, and slime would descend from the heavens when touchdowns happened

- Dora The Explorer showed up to explain more in-depth plays and randomly said “Maybe they need my map to find the end zone!”

- One of the announcers randomly said that he was so excited and nervous that he did a personal foul in his pants(??? Like what???)

- The replays had goofy ahh sound effects edited into them sometimes when players would run around and it caught me so off guard

- Shots of celebrities in the crowd like LePrawn James, Fin Diesel, and Snoop Fishy Dogfish

I’m sorry that you had a bad experience with your family and the Super Bowl, but at the very least, I hope that this information can possibly brighten your mood at least just a little bit.

sleeping with the lights on by singingseok is another mike character study that tore my heart from my chest and made me watch as it picked it apart and sewed it back together. okay. it’s SO good i highly recommend it for sure!

literally anything by @parkitaco is going to be fantastic, but three of my personal faves are the gaps and the silence, the windows of this love, and you were bigger than the whole sky because apparently i love sobbing into my pillow in the middle of the night. it’s healthy sometimes.

If he hung around after his death, he probably met up with other people that died in the calamity, probably knights he knew. Then, when his body is put into the shrine, he disappears as he is forced back into his body. 2: the shrine only puts his spirit back into his body after the healing is completely done, so the soldiers that haven’t moved on just see him slowly losing his memories and watch him panic about it and there’s nothing they can do but try to console him, then his spirit disappears and he wakes up, having no idea what’s going on
