I mean I don't see this being "canon" in the cradle robber!bruce wayne verse BUT hypothetically...(Idk why I wrote in third person for this sorry 😭)

reader prolly met lucius fox in secret to get a suit made for her, and with a hell of a lot of convincing, he caves and gets a suit designed and made for her. i think that generally bruce would try and get her to learn self defence, the basics at least. she would spar with dick and learn stuff she wouldn't learn from bruce (ig flexibility, yk) and she would learn dicks fighting style, and vice versa.

she would leave around 20mins after bruce leaves for patrol, sneaking out the balcony in the bedroom no less. she would go on foot, using grapplers to her advantage and would stick to dealing with low life thugs in alleys trying to rob and assault other civilians. it goes on for maybe a month or two, because something bound to happen when you're surrounded by some of the world's best detectives.

reader does tail some of the members of the batfam, but for only short periods of time as to not be noticed. and she thinks she's slick, but she's not; the batfam knows when they're being followed, and by this mysterious woman. but who is she? bruce has started discussing this mystery woman at dinner, reader jokingly saying, "well i hope she doesn't interest you too much, bruce." and he waves her off, assuring her, though she knows there's nothing to worry about.

within the next week, reader can't seem to find nightwing, but hes started to follow reader, watching her watch and observe his family her family. he can't help but wonder why she never tries to pounce at them, if she timed it right, she could easily take one down. she's watching red robin intently, her eyes following his movements, always making sure to stay on the rooftops and far away. a loud crash and a singular gunshot comes from the opposite building. "warning shot." she whispers, if dick wasn't almost right behind her, he wouldn't have heard her. she turns her attention from red robin to the building, trying to gauge the situation through the dirty, dusty windows. dick knows what's going on in that building, and it's not anything that this amateur vigilante should be dealing with. "don't go in there." he says lowly, startling her. she turns around, straightening up. "and who are you to tell me that?" she makes her voice more deeper? more depth, maybe. but it does the job in partially concealing her real voice. "I've got more experience, I'm trying to help you." his hands moving with his words as he responds. the woman says nothing glaring slightly. "got a problem? hey, who even are you?" nightwing smiles good-naturedly. "it doesn't matter." reader readies her grapple gun, aiming at the rooftop of the building where the gunshot came from. dick grabs her wrist, "hey- you can't just leave. you've been following my team for the past couple months. why?". she laughs, "what's wrong with watching?" "tell me why you've been following us. before i make you." he threatens, his grip on her wrist tightening. she goes to punch him in the face, but he catches her fist easily, moving to hold both her wrist in one hand. she knees him stomach, struggling to get free while he recovers (quickly ofc). as they continue to fight, nightwings starting to notice some patterns. she always goes for the face first, simultaneously kicking at his shin. sure, it's not that uncommon for someone to do that, but the way she does it...well, there's only one other person who's done it in the amateur, repetitive way she has: [readers name]. I mean, it wouldn't hurt to try, right?

dick calls her name, slowly, trying to gauge her reaction. as much as she tries to hide it, a small look of surprise washes over her face. "don't worry, your secrets safe with me." he chuckles as reader grapples away without another word.

so, for obvious reasons, things have been awkward with dick. to her at least, dicks having the time of his life watching her be constantly on edge around him.

(ok so I got this ask awhile ago and responded to it but at the time my autistic ass didn't realize that it was prob a way of asking for like more of a piece of writing, and rn I feel like writing about it soooo yeah let's go)

"I've heard about that band, are they any good?" He asked you, more of as an excuse to talk to you but there was some truth to it, he had heard about the band of the album you were looking at

At first you're kind of caught off guard, like why is this handsome older stranger talking to you, but you answer truthfully about the band since you assume that's probably the only reason he asked

After a while of small talk he ended up asking you out for dinner sometime which REALLY baffled you, but you ended up agreeing and that was the start of your somewhat unconventional relationship with him

When you found out he was the co-owner of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, you were really surprised and kind of starstruck since you were actually really fascinated about the case and the potential ghosts

Sometimes he considers confessing what he did, but realistically he holds himself back... He'd also make plans to create an animatronic for you to haunt just in case anything happened, having to kill you or otherwise

You introduce him to some goth bands and he actually ends up really liking some of them (Mf likes The Smiths, also The Cure tbh)

Pays for your university tuition, your rent, etc

Would fund your entire transition, like if you wanted to go on testosterone or get top surgery or bottom surgery-- anything you wanted he would insist on covering it for you

Also like goes crazy with buying you new clothes, accessories, makeup, the works basically. he likes seeing you dressed up in things he got you it drives him absolutely wild

Six

Once again (just like with every morally grey character I think) there's a war between "she's a monster" and "she's an angel". Six, as a character, is very cool because there's no dialogue or anything in the Little Nightmares games, and a lot of things that are just not showed. The whole point is everyone can have their own interpretations and theories. But Six is just so disrespected by the fandom ! On one side, it's "she's a monster, we hate her, she's selfish and uses people to get what she wants !" On the other side it's "she's a kid and my favorite character so by default she can't be a bad person, she's actually a sweet and pure angel !" None of them are right. For the first ones... Six isn't that much of a monster. And I'm gonna say it : yes, she is a literal kid. That doesn't mean she can't be bad, but she thinks like a kid. She probably cared for Mono before she betrayed him – we can see her trying to help him when he was in the TVs. She probably has a reason why she betrayed him. There's a lot of different theories on that and none of them is more valid than the others because again you're meant to have your own interpretation, so I won't tell any of the popular theories here. You can think she did it for selfish reasons. That doesn't mean she's a literal monster, and that doesn't mean the people who don't think it was selfish are mischaracterizing her. For the second ones... I don't even know what to tell you. If there's one CLEAR thing in these games, it's that Six is morally grey and could do something scary at any moment. As the player you're literally MEANT to be scared of her and what she could do. In the first game you are meant to slowly realize her hunger isn't human. You can also see how she doesn't try to help any of the kids trapped here, she's just helping herself. In the second one she does scary thing all along the game to keep you scared that she could kill and eat Mono at any time, only for her to betray him in the worst way possible at the end. We don't know her reasons but she still did it. Six is a morally grey character. She's just a kid trying to survive in a world full of monsters. She's also full of darkness, acts like a creep and eats literal people. You can't say she's "just a monster", the same way you can't say she's "a little angel who did nothing wrong".

The whole thing with Little Nightmares is that the world is terrifying and horrible. It is eat or be eaten in the most literal sense. Six does what she has to to survive. Has she done some bad things? Yes. Was it her fault? …Debatable. But the fandom treats this CHILD like she’s the worst person to ever exist. Like, she’s not even ten years old. She’s a survivor. Mono did plenty of questionable things too, but I’ve never seen anyone hate on him.

Daisy Tonner

A lot of people just. Write her character off, especially in the earlier seasons, as acab. She did bad things as a cop while she was being taken over by an evil eldritch entity, but everyone just kinda focuses more on the do part than yk. Evil eldritch entity. Now I ain’t gonna justify her actions, she was indeed kinda a bitch, but she was also under the influence of the Hunt, and been for I think decades at the point where we first meet her. Afterwards she ofc got her redemption arc, but everyone (both in canon, but also fandom) treated her like shit even after that, when she was trying to be better. Idk, maybe I’m a daisy simp, maybe IM the one viewing the character wrong, idk. I’m just mad at everyone writing everything off as her being a cop when it was also A PRIMORDIAL GOD OF FEAR THAT WAS PRACTICALLY POSSESSING HER

Girl is a brutal cop who murders people. She is also someone who resisted the absolute pull of the Fears in TMA and didn’t hunt anyone for multiple weeks, something the main character couldn’t even do. She’s incredible bc she is literally like. Grey grey. She’s a fascinating character and cannot be good nor bad depending on how you interpret end actions vs intent.

She did try to slit the main character's throat, and she did do a ton of police brutality- BUT she got a redemtion arc. She tried to better herself. She gave herself over to a evil fear god in order to protect her friends. Her arc is about how it's never too late to try to be better, and about how you can accidently drag others down with you and about how sometimes we become monsters when we want to be better. And I swear- everyone either thinks she's evil or she's good. No inbetween.

okay i'll list some headcanons and then i'll make a cut and list some further headcanons which contain spoilers for my fic that i haven't published yet, so they'll be major spoilers of what's to come!! you can decide if you wanna read them before ranpo finds these out hehe >:3

also pls note these are my personal hcs you ofc don't have to agree with them :3

ok first of all poe is absolutely unscareable, he could watch any horror movie and be deeply fascinated by it rather than afraid

exceptions are when there's a scene where many people talk over each other, he gets very overstimulated by that (also like in general not only in movies)

he can hear heartbeats more sensitively than a normal human being

he has relatives in america but doesn't talk to them a lot, especially since he isolated himself after ranpo defeated him

similar to irl poe i'd say his father left and his mother died when he was young leaving him and his siblings behind - they get adopted by their aunt & uncle, tho henry and poe move out quite quickly to get their own place

used to host big events in his mansion, he is very prideful of his deduction abilities after all and he's actually quite famous for solving multiple big crimes that got a lot of attention (like scandals and stuff)

(that's why he's so bummed out when ranpo defeats him too)

karl lingered outside his mansion before poe took him in; poe realised he was injured and took him to a vet; they bonded over that and karl just stayed bc poe got him food and was comfortable to sit on

always has candy for ranpo everywhere despite not being a big fan of candy

deals with dissociation and intrusive thoughts; has problems with idealization of people (see ranpo)

has been dealing with some sort of substance addiction in his time between his duel with ranpo and his revenge part

has issues with chronic pain bc of that as well

has a raccoon plushie for karl for when he's gone

loves writing with an actual quill but has been made fun of

has some odd knowledge about the human body that might or might not be concerning

hates swimming. i mean hates. loathes, in fact.

loves to rot away in bed and think while drifting in and out of consciousness (sameee)

is always cold (uses ranpo as a heater lol)

can solve basic code

loves bitter tasting things (tea, dark chocolate, strong coffee etc)

is insecure about his face + his body in general that's why he wears his hair like that and so many layers

ok now for the spoilers (if you don't want to read further than this, ty dear anon for letting me ramble about this and ty ty for reading :3)

i love the theory that an ability manifests as a kind of response to either trauma or a major change in their life, so - my theory or hc, whatever, is that poe wasn't an ability user before he met ranpo. obviously the first time they meet ranpo doesn't know about his ability and hasn't experienced it before. poe seems to find confidence in his ability and i think he'd have mentioned it before if he'd met ranpo in a setting that would also be in relation (in terms of mysteries and stuff) to it

i'm very sure or i'd like to think poe manifested his ability as a way of escapism but also as a way of determination (drawing people into his story i mean, you can't get further in being a successful detective writer than this ability yk)

also poe was a detective before they met, i'd guess he still wrote stuff but he switched almost completely once he was defeated by ranpo and barely solved any crimes anymore (maybe only over text or sth idk)

all this results ofc in a feeling of inferiority in poe who before ranpo came along was probably quite prideful - which leads me to believe he thinks of ranpo as a rival that has corrupted his mind but also as someone he is thankful for, which makes all of this wayyyy more complicated than it seems on the surface

poe thinks he's tied to ranpo and therefore cannot say no to him or pretend for long enough that he doesn't care; he actively puts himself in situations he doesn't like bc of ranpo and helps him when he really doesn't have to - he could just walk away. but he doesn't

he also exclusively uses his ability for or against ranpo, we've not seen him use it outside of it and tbh i don't think he's ever used it otherwise (except when it manifested, tho i don't know how it could've manifested tbh. like how do you find sth like this out?)

in my fic henry (his brother) knows at least a fraction of all this and asks for poe to get himself something unrelated to ranpo, which he does, which is why i think poe is also an artist, tho less skilled than in his writing but he finds fun in it

he keeps it a secret from ranpo (he will eventually open up tho)

A Small Rivalry

Right after graduating from Yumenosaki Gakuen High School, you suggested to help out at a daycare on top of your producer duties with your partner - Kiryu Kuro. Being the kind and loving person he is, he was beyond delighted when he first heard about your idea and immediately agreed.

One day, the two of you overheard a conversation going on between two children.

"My parents read a book to me last night. It was a very nice story because it was about two people who fell in...lo-love?"

"Love? What's that?"

"I- I don't know...I'm going to ask Ms (Y/N) and Mr Kuro!"

Seeing the child making his way to you, you mentally prepared yourself for what was about to happen.

How am I supposed to explain the concept of 'love' to a child?

"Ms (Y/N) and Mr Kuro, what is 'love'?" he asked.

Both you and Kuro squatted down to his level, ready to answer his questions.

"Well, you see..." you began. "Love is when you really care about someone or something, so you try your very best to take care of them and keep them safe!"

"Just like how your parents take care of you and keep you safe." Kuro added on.

"Does Ms (Y/N) and Mr Kuro love us?"

"Of course! We love all of you!" Both you and Kuro said in unison.

"Oh! I also remember that the two people in the story got...married? What's that?" the child asked.

"It has something to do with 'love'. When two people love each other very much and want to be together for the rest of their lives, they get married. They promise to always be there for each other and love each other no matter what happens." Kuro explained.

He's so good at explaining things to children!

Suddenly, the child said something which shocked the two of you.

"Ms (Y/N), I am going to marry you when I become older! You are very kind and you take care of us all the time! I want to stay with you forever and ever!"

Both you and Kuro were left speechless.

Did he just propose?

You quickly snapped out of your thoughts and composed yourself.

"I would love to!" you exclaimed, giving Kuro a quick glance only to see him pouting and glaring at the child.

Do not hurt the child, Kuro...

"Promise?" the child asked.

"I promise!" you replied, placing a quick kiss on his cheek.

Happy with your answer, the child grabbed your hand. "Let's go tell everyone that we are going to get married when I become older!"

You were going to follow him around the class when, suddenly, you felt a pair of strong arms wrap around your waist and pull you backwards. This caused the child to lose his grip on your hand and fall onto the floor.

"Sorry but Ms (Y/N) won't be marrying you because I'm going to marry her."

You turned your head and was met with Kuro who was staring daggers at the child.

"Oh...I guess that's okay! You do look nice with Ms (Y/N)!" exclaimed the child, getting up from the floor. "So I'll allow it! But make sure you take care of her!" After he was done, he ran off to join his friends in the playground.

"About what you said earlier...Do you mean it?" you asked, getting out of the awkward position you were once in.

Kuro gave you a quick kiss on your forehead before replying with a quick "I do."

Outside the classroom, a group of children witnessed the entire scene and were gushing over how cute the two of you looked.

"Quickly! We have to plan everything now! When will they get married? Where will they get married? Should we invite Uncle Keito and Souma?"

• was 100% neglected by both his mom and dad, was always jealous of Liu (which is why he 'killed' him so brutally) bc he always had his mom's attention.

• despite that he never really loved his family bc he never had a reason to but he goes insane when attention isn't always on him. Hates when he isn't treated like a God basically. Which is why he was so fond of Nina, she always treated him like he was her savior.

• though it's difficult for him he can form emotional bonds and love people. It's just rlly mf difficult for to how much of an asshole he is and bc he's had yk ASPD.

• loves animals. Would never hurt an animal despite what the people around him would think. I can definitely see him taking stray cats and dogs into 'his' home and taking care of them.

•speaking of his home it's just some random cabin (that's pretty nice btw) in the woods. It was abandoned but not rlly in terrible shape so with some elbow grease he fixed it up to look brand new.

• he's constantly bored which is why he kills so often. It's the only thing other than manipulating ppl (which does get boring over time) that he can think of to soothe how bored he is.

• now I know it's a common thing in like everything that smile is his pet but I can't think of Smile being a pet to anyone. Smile probably bite Jeff's hand when they first meet which Jeff took personally and holds a huge grudge against him. He might love animals but he hates how smile acts+ smile bite him+smile is barely a dog and more of a shapeshifter in my opinion so he doesn't rlly like him that much. Sees him as some asshole shapeshifter furry. In short they both hate each other's guts.

• due to all the neglect he went through he never really was taught how to properly handle what he's feeling which makes him very agressive in everything and doesn't really understand why people feel the things they do. So like if someone was sobbing begging him not to kill them he wouldn't understand why they are acting that way. Basically he has the emotional understanding of a wall.

• professional gaslighter. Especially towards Liu.

• definitely a pervert. But he won't go as far as sniffing panties bc that's jus nasty and yk he's a clean freak. He's just rlly horny ig.

• has so many scars on his body anywhere and everywhere due to killing people (and when I say they fight back I mean they are always stabbing or throwing something with glass at him, hence why his arms are beefy, had to build that up over the years so he could properly kill some of them) and people constantly coming up and attacking him out of knowhere. This man's angers a lot of people.

• is blind in his right eye. Long story short one of his victims had a sharp pocket knife under their pillow for safety and took it out when was on top of them about to slit their throat and quickly stabbed him in the eye. He's still on the hunt for them till this day.

• I'd say he's about 24-26 yrs old.

• has the nastiest side eye, can't tell me otherwise.

• I know he's commonly written with blue eyes or black eyes but I'd say he has the deadest amber eyes ever.

• now going in detail on what his face looks like I'd say his face shape is like Chris Hemsworths, a couple of scars on his face including the healed smile scar he had since he was about 16, a slightly hooked grecian nose, thick eyebrows, and somewhat wide eyes, absolutely no facial hair, and thick, black hair that goes down just below his man tits.

• I wouldn't say he's the tallest crp as that award would go to Jack but he's pretty tall. Around 5'11.

So I agree with most of your fanon complaints but tbh I sometimes will still read fics with mildly annoying habits and just like, compartmentalize the parts that annoy me. I do it with the show too but I'm better at compartmentalizing with fanfic lol. Part of it is I follow a few really really good thoughtful fanfic writers so I haven't seen all of the stuff you've talked about. However I have seen the hiding veggies in meals headcanon & tho i didn't find it appealing or cute, it didn't bother me bc I interpreted as like an idiosyncrasy. That's completely understandable! There are plenty of things I don't like in fandom (either in this one or other ones) where I'm able to be like "I don't like this but the rest of the fic is good enough to ignore it" or "I normally hate this trope but I really like how this author wrote it". (I live by the rule that for all my complaining that anything can be tolerable/make sense if it's done well enough.) I used to be able to do that in this fandom but my tolerance level has dropped a lot lmao. It's much easier for me to do in say the Star Wars fandom. (Now that's a fandom with a lot of infighting!)

A big part of the issue is that it never is just one person or one thing lol. Someone writing something with a character being a bit childish or idiosyncratic is fine on its own, but when it's paired with a bunch of other questionable tropes or it's just done soooo much is when I start scratching my head.

Like I think I've mentioned before unrelated to this, but I do actually think that Steve probably is someone who likes to clean, a lot of the Stobin gang see him as something of a neat freak. On its own, Steve doing most or all of the cleaning because he's that anal feels really in character. It's when you pile all of these things on top of each other to where Eddie is doing nothing and Steve is doing everything that I'm like hmm. Don't like that.

Wrt to the veggie thing specifically... idk I guess you could take it as a quirky thing, but hiding vegetables in food hoping the person doesn't notice is literally one of the biggest stereotypical parent things I feel like? And I think it's having Steve specifically do it and Eddie not noticing that makes me side eye it.

Like lol, that's always the cliché, a kid moves out (normally a son) and you find out they aren't eating vegetables and only eating junk, so the mom has to do something to get her son to eat better. Which like I get it I have to fight with myself to eat healthy sometimes, most vegetables have a gross texture to them but lol my body feels better when I'm eating them so! It's especially the hiding aspect too like man Steve can even talk to Eddie about eating healthier? Finding healthy foods Eddie does actually like if he's that concerned about his health? He has to hide it like Eddie is a five year old?

And maybe you're right and it is meant to be more idiosyncratic but like I said, when you pair it with all the other shit fandom is doing it ends up feeling like just another way people have been writing tradwife/caretaker Steve lol.

the long awaited nui izlo rambling is finally here!! leaving it all below the read more bc. i don't know how to shut up

(i'm copy pasting this w little to no edits from a twt thread so. sorry if the formatting is icky kasdgh)

this fic was brought to u by 1. my own darling nuis and my izumi nui does have a tear by his eye and 2. leo merch collector is such a fun concept to me

the concept of izumi being in italy while leo is away was something that lived in my head for a while ngl and there was a point where this was going to be a meowzart fic, like izumi moping around the apartment and meowzart being her cute little self. i think at one point i did have a sort of companion piece if you want to call it that, like leo would be the one at the apartment w izumi out of the country (also a meowzart fic) and the only part i actually wrote for that is what I lovingly call ace izlo

also. back to my izunui for a minute, I did try to do surgery on him but the eye embroidery is too thick to do w just a normal little sewing needle 😔😔 but he's my darling little guy and he's perfect the way he is, I just have to be careful with him 🥺

anyway! let's start w the title. this song I think is the reason I started writing mushy lines towards the end lmao, it's izlo coded to me, like pls consider (it's also in my bb playlist ✌ idk it's so izumi -> leo to me)

izumi cardboard cutout is such a funny one to me, leo would so have one. anyway, reloaded reference 🎉 also. the izumi calendar being a canon thing might be one of the best things happyele has done, unfortunate I'm p sure they'll be skipping it in engstars 😔

I feel like I'll end up forgetting to mention it, but like recital, the way izumi refers to leo nui changes over the course of the fic (aka after day five, izumi starts referring to leo nui w gendered pronouns fkdksl) they had a bonding moment <33

this is probably my favorite part of the fic ngl like honestly. I don't even think I can make fun of izumi here bc I think something that grossly domestic would fix me too (but it's still so funny to be like. izumi wakes up in a bad mood and his first thought of how to fix it is to imagine a whole scenario w leo that is soft but. maybe he really is onto something)

the day three naruritsu call is bc i started writing nui izlo last august which was a month before nrrt week and they were in my head so bad (they haven't left). and then I was like haha what if I write the date for nrrt week before the fic is finished. and now this year it's like,, haha what if i (hopefully will actually write the date this time but also. as a small aside, the concept of arashi having to be straight up told it's a Real Date and not a friend date is so good in this essay i)

this is supposed to be bc they're not speaking a language izumi personally knows how to speak, so only certain words make sense think of it when you hear someone speaking another language and there's loan words or cognates that you recognize even if u don't know what's being said

I said it in the a/n but this part and all of day five is that even though they're past the events of checkmate and everything that came from it, things aren't magically like. Perfect, yk? like they found their way back to each other and knights didn't fall apart but that doesn't mean that everything that happened then doesn't bother them to some extent. like just look at next door and mr they can't know i care taking the earliest flight to japan w limited knowledge of what's going on + leo leaving in the first place bc of an argument like I can go on for a while (so much of ! was izlo figuring shit out bc of what happened between them so i mean,, it's definitely still prominent in their lives even if it's in the past).

he's funny for being like wait can someone hear me rn, their conversation is happening in japanese lmao

happy brief trans leo mention, this part also makes me so like. giggles kicks feet and idk why exactly. anyway leo is trans, it just never really comes up in my writing so fkxksl (is anyone in knights really cis? the answer is no)

day five aka the radio silence day is so,,, I wanted to have a day like this in here but I felt like I was being a little dramatic abt it but i was like well. izumi knows that leo is probably busy and they're in a better space now, but all things considered, I do think he'd worry. I mean izumi is worrier #1 but fkdks that's not the point. by this point, he has mostly stopped blaming himself for checkmate but u do have to realize that next door did happen and he did make leo leave that time, that one was all him so,, but even outside of that, I don't think izumi is like. Concerned about it every time that leo stops talking to him or is out of the country, but in this situation, he already misses leo and they'd talked for a while the day before then to wake up to hear absolutely nothing is not fun. (i probably have more but idk where i'm going w this rip) I just think there's something there, yk? like idk they're a little (very much) attached to each other

requiem reference (izumi will never live it down sorry). was going to talk abt their relationship and the use of partner rather than boyfriend but. idk.

niki's kitchen is such a funny circle to me bc they really just. have a signed framed picture of izumi there for the meetings so gkdksm obligatory mention (plus I do think izumi is Aware that niki knows what he's doing in the kitchen so he'll actually take his advice)

when I was planning this fic out, this part was going to be a little different; izumi wasn't going to realize he had leo nui until he was in the store and he looks down into the bag and there's a little guy in there but mckslsl

not to mention, the dude straight up gets uncomfortable with amy's advances and actively runs away from her 😭 like, i've seen some people say it's because he's shy, but no <3 that's my romance repulsed KING. plus, it would be so easy to fall into the flirty archetype with him, but isn't it better to see him not interested in that stuff. he'll tease and banter to ruffle people's feathers, sure, but actually flirt? that feels wrong....

sonic is so aroace to me. you have to understand his level of swag. there was a post detailing how Sonic REALLY values his freedom, meaning he probably wouldn't enjoy a romantic relationship. the idea of having to compromise elements of himself and settling down does not gel well with him.

NOW WITH AMY, this might come as a surprise considering her canon moments, but i promise i have an argument. see, amy, to me, seems like a girl who has abandonment issues, and she's a mobian living in a human dominated city. a lot of herself has been changed to adhere to the human ideal. eg: her classic quills being one resembling a normal hedgehog vs. her modern quills being downturned. potentially to avoid accidentally hurting anyone, and that's most similar to human girl hairstyles.

we all know how society adores heteronormativity, right? it's quite possible she's taken in those ideals and assumes that she's gotta do the same thing. then, i bring up the abandonment issues because sonic is her first friend. sonic met amy before tails, knuckles, etc. i am one to believe that she does not want to lose him, and the best way to do that is through promises of marriage and always being together and more.

so, even though she has no romantic interest, she convinces herself that she needs a boyfriend/husband so that she may never be alone. and what perfect person to project those ideals than someone untouchable like sonic the hedgehog? a hero who's completely uninterested in romance is someone safe enough for amy to perform what she thinks she's supposed to do. and, in reality, amy fell in love with his heroism and love for adventure because she wishes she could do the same thing.

i was playing huniepop bc it's a fun game when u have nothing to do, but my P saw it in my discord status and immediately dmed the gc "BRO [me] IS PLAYING HUNIEPOP" and we started arguing about it bc she thinks these type of games are weird, idc lol. if u don't like them, don't play them, why get into my business? we have the most opposite opinions on so much shit like why even bother trying to start this

she complained about genshin nsfw popping up on her tl a while ago and told me to stop liking it, no? dont interact, click "not interested", block, even unfollow me idc not like we interact much anyway. gosh

she was so much better to have as a friend before we got close, i started having this feeling recently like once i get to know someone well it becomes weird. like damn, you know my trauma and ik yours? weirdo.. bye-bye! my gf, two best friends + two also pretty close friends are the only exceptions. but that's maybe because i got to know them before i started feeling like this?

its literally all based off his lore,, if you get close to obsidian and crying obsidian fallen down from Undertale starts playing, if you splash water on yourself 1) you get hurt 2) your screen blacks out and when it comes back, your in a different place than before, some things art taken, maybe a few extra things are added

and there's a 50% chance that when you go into your "enderwalk" state (the blackout) you blow something up, so there may or may not be an explosion somewhere nearby, you also have a 20% chance of building something small in you enderwalk state :)

if your way of learning is teaching then he'll gladly be the person you teach it to if you want! most likely won't use the information therefore his brain won't retain it but that's not on you, and the whole reason is so you can learn, not him, so! ^^

will make sure to take care of yourself, and he has a through way of telling if you have or not bc he's known you for long enough to know that even if you try to hide it a little bit of your tired voice shows so he knows if you've been sleeping like you should

also friends with you on discord, where you have your Spotify attached,, you like listening to music while you work on things that aren't sound related and if it's active later than it should be he's going to confront you

Hello! I know you love Theory of love so i have a few questions about it for you.

1-Favorite episode 2-Favorite scene 3-Would you date Khai? 4-Favorite ost of the show 5-Did you watch any of the movies referenced/mentioned on the show? and last one 6-Did you learn something from this show?

I just finished watching the full thing including the special ep, ost mvs and bts clips and i really loved it but dont have anyone to talk about it:(

Hiii! I'm always happy to gush about tol it's my favourite romance ever after all 😌😌

1. Has to be ep7 when they finally flipped the perspective and we got to see just how desperately Khai needed Third in his life. Khai's love for Third was a bit more obvious from the start in the novel but for the show we were left wondering for a long time if Khai cared at all. So to see how messed up he was over hurting Third and possibly losing him was such an Experience. I also hadn't watched the trailer and had no knowledge about OffGun or even BLs in general at the time so I'd been sure there was no way they end up together because I was used to the pining guy ending up with someone new. But then we switched to Khai and he was so in love with Third without even realising it and it just made so much sense ugh it was so good 😭😭😭😭

2. I haven't really thought about this. There's a lot of iconic scenes in this show like the crying in the shower scene, the wrong group chat scene, Khai almost crying when he watched Third's confession ahsjkeks SO MANY AMAZING SCENES!!! But probably my favourite scene ever was Khai's confession to Third at the play. It was so sweet and romantic and just so THEM. It didn't feel like a flowery grand gesture with little depth, it truly represented their relationship and their bond so well and it was just so well done. Incredible scene 👏

3. Hmmm yeah, given the opportunity I'd date him. But not seriously ofc. He's hot and a fun date for the week or so you have his attention and I wouldn't mind having some fun with that. I think as long as you go into dating Khai knowing it's not serious it's probably a fun experience. He doesn't get THAT MANY girls just bc he's pretty yk.

4. Oh Fake Protagonist hands down. I still listen to it regularly it's so good!

5. Hm. I think some? Most of the films are classic english language romcoms and ones that I personally was never into. Before TOL I was into romance as a genre at all bc I often felt like the character being in love didn't really make sense to me. I probably have watched some of them but I know I didn't like them. If I gave em a try now I still wouldn't bc to be honest I feel hollywood is just bad at romance.

6. I definitely learned to appreciate a well written romance that's for sure! The show tackled the theme of showing different kinds of love so well. Both romantic and platonic. We had the inevitable love with KhaiThird where it builds slowly but surely and takes root in your heart in a way that you could never let go of it and you don't want to. Where ending up together isn't a question but the natural conclusion. Then you have the doomed from the beginning love with Bone's crush on Paan where we all know it will only lead to heartbreak but there's no changing your feelings. There's that long lasting infatuation that Two has for Lynn where you love someone from afar for so long that you start loving the idea of them more than the person and once you finally have what you've wanted for so long it quickly fizzles out because you were holding onto the memory of love more than the feeling itself. There's the long lasting unrequited love that turns requited when you least expect it and you feel so glad to finally have the person you loved love you back with AhnTwo. And ofc there's the platonic love the savage gang share for each other.

Do you have any mundane hcs about Guts/Griffith/Griffguts? Like, what's their favorite food, if there's anything they like to do besides fighting, if there was a spot they liked to meet when they were friends, stuff like that. Personally I like to think that Griffith loves reading even for non-practical reasons, especially epic poetry/novels and heroic romances (maybe he even sleeps with a copy of Berserk's version of The Iliad under his pillow à la Alexander the Great lol).

I agree with you about Griffith lol, I always imagine him as a bit of a nerd lowkey. Actually to be specific, I headcanon him as a chronic insomniac who gets most of his reading done at night by candle light or whatever. I feel like he's the type who wants something to focus on because he doesn't like his mind wandering while trying to fall asleep, so he stays up til he's exhausted and gets like, a few hours of sleep a night for a few nights in a row then goes to bed early and gets 10 to make up for it.

So there's one mundane headcanon I guess.

Idk I don't tend to really think of details like favourite foods and stuff lol, I'm not a very creative person so all my headcanons are like, specifically extrapolating from canon. But I might have a few that sort of fit this ask.

I know I heard this somewhere else but I really like the headcanon that the shift in how Miura drew Griffith's hair, the way it got more wavy later on in the Golden Age basically, is because Griffith got access to haircare products lol.

I think Guts cooked a lot. I imagine them out in a camp somewhere, you'd probably have one person cooking for a group a lot, yk not particularly organized but if someone's making a pot of something their friends all share it, and I like to think Guts was often the one throwing meals together, bc iirc he cooked for him and Gambino when he was a kid. (And relatedly but not relevant to the ask, I also think Casca never was and couldn't really cook to save her life.)

Griffith could also cook but never really had to.

I also headcanon Griffith as a terrible singer. If the Hawks ever sang marching songs or folk songs around a campfire while Judeau played the lute or whatever, he'd just smile and listen.

I think during after-battle parties, which the Hawks threw all the time, Guts and Griffith had a predictable routine of getting 4-5 drinks in and leaving the main group to go sit and talk together, and have definitely fallen asleep on each other.

lol I think the only time we've ever seen Guts doing something fun just to pass the time is when he was gambling with the Raiders shortly before the Doldrey battle. Plus he knows a lot about them, as we see in the Campfire of Dreams monologue. So I think Guts probably hung out with them a lot more than we get to see, maybe more often than he hung out with the other Hawk captains, besides Griffith.

But given the choice I think he'd always choose to hang out with Griffith instead, and he has chronic watching-the-door syndrome when Griffith's not around because he always lowkey wants to see him. Classic crush behaviour.

Also wrt favourite food, I don't have any ideas for Guts but I'd like to think that Griffith's is something really peasant-y, rather than anything fancy he gets as a nobleman. Like idk, rabbit stew his mom used to make or something. Idk anything about medieval food, but I love everything that sort of belies Griffith's image amongst the nobles and connects him to his core humanity.

• You saw a shadowy figure grabbing your arm and saying the following words: “Hey, do you remember me?”

• You were panicking, you shut the locker up and pushed the figure away from you (just pretend you can touch Mitsuba even though he’s a ghost JAHDBE)

• Then you saw a slightly tall boy, pink hair, feminine look, with a school uniform

• “The hell?!..” You realized who it was, you walked slowly towards the boy to get a closer look

• “M...Mitsuba?!” You said in relief and jumped on top of him, so happy to see him

• “Hey!! I get it I’m a cute little ghost but that doesn’t give you permission to touch me, you pervert!”

• “It really is you! Dear god, aren’t you dead?!!” Not caring about what he said, you looked at him in the eyes with tears of happiness streaming down your cheeks

• “I am dead, idiot. Can you get off me now? You’re going to make my clothes wet.” He exclaimed, rudely

• You nodded as you wiped off your tears

• After everything got settled and explained, you thought it was nice to have your best friend back

• You loved him a lot, he was so dear to your heart

• By loved him, you still do

• You both hanged out a lot again

• He would sometimes join your classes and keep you entertained or just insult you for whatever god knows

• Though you liked that he would be with you

• It was nice being with your ghost friend again

• You were so goddamn happy Istg

• Anyhow, after a few months, you decided to confess

• It was dumb asking someone like him out, besides, he’s a ghost

• You knew it would never work, considering him being a ghost

• But it would never hurt to try though, right?

• But little did you know, Mitsuba actually also has a crush on you

• He's just.... Not the type to show it correctly kind of-

• You notice that he blush a lot whenever he's around you, but didn't really give in too much thought to it

• He never had the urge to confess unlike you, he was too scared and nervous

• He got so suprised and happy when you asked him though, but he of course still acted like a tsundere

• You met him in the usual place, the rooftop after school

• Both just chatted and chilling iykyk

When you suddenly go "Hey.. Uhm... Mitsuba? I was meaning to tell you something."

"What is it now, (Y/N)?"

"I don't know how to put it but... I like you, like a lot."

"Of course you do, I mean who wouldn't like an adorable cute ghost like me?"

"No- I'm serious. I like LIKE you."

*A moment of silence then he started harassing you about it for a moment*

"Hah. Anyways, that's... Very unfortunate. Yeah, yeah... I like you too I guess, it's nothing much.."

• Anyways, you got so happy and started hopping around and hugging him
