In our universe, Obi-Wan would be a slip-on vans girlie but also has a pair of surprisingly nice hiking boots, anakin owns a singular pair of doc martins that are practically falling apart at this point and are being held together by the force and dumb luck, and ahsoka either has exactly 1 (one) pair of black platform converse that (much like anakins boots), look like they’ve been through hell and back, OR like a million pairs of shoes for any and every situation a Jedi may face courtesy of her (totally not bc remember kids: attachment is forbidden in the Jedi order) older brother’s awesome wife, Padme!!

Poast about the "fucking some guy" saga behind the scenes because I can't shut up about it :]

The idea of this series started as just some Maul porn (possibly as a kinda flashback in what became They finally fuck each other this time) where he fucks a guy. Originally i was thinking of going with a twi'lek because they're what we see as sex workers the most in canon, and also the idea of them having two dicks (to match the two headtails) entertains me

As mentioned before, the base of They finally fuck each other this time is actually a wip I've had for Months and didn't know where to go with

There was a scene in the wip where Obi-Wan gives Maul a patdown to check if he's really unarmed, but it was not homoerotic enough and felt kinda out of place and out of character so I cut it

(There were also supposed to be more scenes with Bo-Katan, but once again. did not fit well enough.)

There was gonna be a scene like right after they fuck where Obi-Wan gets a call from the Jedi Council because he's been gone and out of contact for Hours so of course they're worried. and he's like. "oh don't worry I was just having a conversation with a slightly paranoid possible new ally. nothing much going on :) " [<- his neck is visibly covered in hickeys and bite marks]

[yoda voice] some bacta you need. terrible post coital manners your new friend has.

The original original idea continues well after where I ended the series, and involved Maul being imprisoned after Bo-Katan gets the throne except he's put in like. a ray-shielded apartment. and Obi-Wan has to live with him. because there's no way simple technology can keep a Force user imprisoned so they should have a jedi guard him, and Bo-Katan asked him so nicely, how could he possibly refuse to submit to the torture of living a domestic life with his nemesis with benefits.

And from then on it's all just. silly gay slice of life.

Like.

Very awkward jedi visits because everyone wants to see how Obi-Wan is doing but they're all distrustful of Maul even though he's just. vibing in his corner. sipping tea or reading a book. ignoring everyone staring at him.

VERY awkward Anakin and Padmé visit because he Senses she is pregnant and the children (he can feel it's twins) are Force-sensitive and he's like. well that's Interesting [<- doing his best not to bring up the topic of fucking jedi]

(the visit slowly turns into talking about the merits of leaving the Jedi Order for love and how that's totally fine and not a betrayal of one's morals and if someone wanted to stop being a jedi to go marry a senator and become a father that would be totally fine Anakin we would all be so happy for you. hypothetically.)

A mandalorian tries to "jailbreak" Maul but he's like. I'm fine where I am, so no thank you. and this probably happens like once a month.

Arguing about tea (it's like a hobby for them) (force help anyone who visits them during these arguments, they WILL force people to take sides)

Wacky Power Rangers Cross Overs that I've Written or Could Write

Star Wars Original Trilogy:

I took a prompt from KrissyKat on Fanfiction.Net and wrote ten parts before school caught up with me. The team consisted of a much younger Han (blue), Leia (yellow), and Luke (red) (Luke and Leia were 15) and would've also included a young Ezra Bridger (green), Sabine Wren (purple), and maybe Cal Kestis (black). Rex and Ahsoka were set up to be mentors.

Star Wars Clone Wars:

This is based on a fanfiction.net fic I can't find anymore that had Obi-Wan, Anakin, Ahsoka, and Rex working as Power Rangers via Zordon's lineage. In the version I had planned Obi Wan (yellow), Anakin (red), Ahsoka (pink), Rex (blue), and Cody (orange) where the main five. But this one would've been a Dino-Fury esque season with a lot of extra characters which would've included Plo-Koon (graphite), Wolfee (slate), Fives (navy), Echo (scarlet), and a tenth character I never settled on.

There was also an idea to just make it Cody (mustard), Rex (blue), Echo (scarlet), Fives (navy), and Wolfee (slate).

The Wiggles:

based on Mighty Morphing Power Wiggles by Flakingnapstich on AO3, but more of a legacy idea. In their story the Wiggles were created as a cover for the original four - Greg (yellow), Murray (red), Jeff (purple), and Anthony (blue) to be Power Rangers. As the crew has evolved, I feel like it lends itself to a multi-evolution team like the original Mighty Morphing run.

In this version the Wiggles main four were Power Rangers, and in addition to saving Australia they also operated wherever their tours were, such as the US.

The medical condition that forced Greg to retire in real life back in 2006 was actually the stress of an old injury in tangent with being a Power Ranger and performing. Sam steps up as yellow, then when Jeff and Murray leave Pryce and Lachy step in as red and purple, respectively.

Anthony is our Tommy Oliver character, as he's never left the team.

In the fic Captain Feathersword is the fifth ranger, but I kind of like the idea of having him, Dorothy, the Octopus, and the dog (whose names escape me) be like the spirit rangers of Jungle Fury.

The current iteration with the two of each Wiggle differentiates either by shades of their respective color or by suite design.

I just think it'd be cute to have a little moment with Anthony and his daughter doing a passing of the torch like how the fandom sort of passed the torch to JDF's daughter after his passing.

Bonus points if we get a khaki and olive green ranger and it's just Bindi and Robert Irwin. Super bonus points if Bindi's current husband Chandler ends up being the one running everything back at base (like Alpha in the original or Sam prior to getting the Green Samuari suite in Ninja Storm).

Top Gun

Now hear me out.

The original Ranger team is made up of some of the first Top Gun graduates, as well as other crack pilots. Viper and Duke (Maverick's dad) are two such members. Duke goes down during a fight but is never replaced as a Ranger.

Come Top Gun, Viper's manipulated everything enough to get who he wants in the running or the next Ranger team. Maverick and Goose weren't who he was expecting, but they stand out.

The Rangers work in tandem. Iceman is red, Slider is blue. Hollywood and Wolfman are yellow and green (doesn't matter which to me). Maverick is black, leaving a final color on the table. Initially, Viper holds onto it for himself, serving as a sixth white ranger before he's hurt and passes it on to Maverick's current RIO: Merlin. But as RIO's retire Mav has to keep giving it out. So when he eventually can get into a single seater, he takes the chance, and the Rangers before a five man team.

Iceman had initially wanted to assemble the next team post uranium mission, using Mav's picks, but he knows he'll die before he gets the chance. So he gives Mav the job. Maverick keeps the black morpher and gives Rooster (blue), Phoenix (red), Bob (yellow), Fanboy and Payback (white and green, undecided) morphers.

During a fight, Maverick is injured and realizes how eerily similar his situation is not Viper. So rather than try to keep fighting through it, he gives the morpher to Hangman, making him the black Ranger.

There's also a storyline where the other six uranium mission candidates (who I give the headcanon name of Daggers) get turned into evil rangers a-la the Psycho Rangers. However, once they're brought back they still have their morphers and operate as a second team. Coyote (slate) heads the team with Omaha (maroon), Halo (mustard), Fritz (navy), Harvard (steel), and Yale (forest).

Tombstone

This one just came to me.

The Earp brothers are a team of three: Virgil is blue, Wyatt is red, and Morgan is yellow.

After Morgan's death and Virgil leaving, Doc is given a choice between the yellow and blue morphers. The other two members of their party get the green and black morphers. The morpher Doc doesn't pick is given to the fifth member of the posey. I cannot remember any of their names.

Ninjago

Its very similar to the actual IP, just with Power Ranger ninja suites and their elemental powers come from their power crystals or something like in Dino Thunder. Lloyd is green, Kai is red, Jay is blue, Zane is white, Cole is black, and Nya is aqua.

During the arcs with the elemental masters their ranger identities are just various colors and shades. Tox is lime, Chamile is purple, Turner is cream, Karloff is steel, Neuro is gray, Ash is ash, Jacob is maroon, Gravis is tan, etc. Skylar moonlights as an orange ranger.

With the new Dragons Rising line, Arin and Sora are the next two rangers: Orange and Pink.

Padme, Anakin, Ahsoka and Obi-Wan as cats and dogs

Padme: She is the expensive cat that you were on a waiting list for years to get, star shining genetics, her care items costs half a planet probably, very well groomed but also she will be the first one to start a fight in the streets if she gets out. And yes she will win with barely a strand out of place

Obi-Wan: That dog you find at the shelter that acts super well behaved around others, but you know damn well that he would jump from the top of the stairs to the bottom if no one was watching. Very well trained, shining good boy, has won a few dog competitions. Acts all prim but would 100% throw hands (paws?) should he want to.

Ahsoka: The very pretty dog you got from that person who's dog had puppies but isn't a breeder. Is well trained and can behave if commanded, but is a little speed demon otherwise. Would do very well in agility probably.

Anakin: A stray cat you helped as a kitten and has now grown into a menace. Has mastered the art of beating up your fancy stuff with just one front leg. The smartest cat you know - as in he somehow figured out how to open the windows no problem, and the dumbest one at the same time - jumping into a box, the box falling over and now being upside down with him trapped under it, and instead of trying to fight it off of him he instead runs around with the box, this results in more than one instance of him running into something.

(tbh i've always thought that this anakin was more stable than most but quin's not exactly wrong about his possessiveness of anakin... what are your thoughts?) also, I absolutely LOVED the chapter, thank you for always blessing us with your amazing writing! <3

what a good question!! i do think master anakin in this fic is more stable than anakins in some of my other fics, but i do also think quinlan isn't necessarily wrong to be like wow wait we can't do this anymore that man wants you TOO MUCH

and not to say that the amount master anakin wants obi-wan is creepy or over-the-top or unhealthy by our standards; i don't think it has to be for quinlan to still be unsettled.

i think by jedi standards, it's too much or bordering on too much so that quinlan is realizing that obi-wan and anakin entering into a relationship may affect both of their abilities to be jedi. and the fic started out with obi-wan wanting to be a jedi knight just as much as he wanted to sleep with anakin skywalker....quin is coming at anakin's desire for obi-wan as potentially going to get in the way of his ability to do his duty first and foremost and i think that's right, based on canon anakin skywalker and the way he loves

green vs. yellow/Sinestro lanterns: an HC/hot take

sorry if someone's already said this--

I think the whole "yellow initially beat green, but Hal figured that out" makes perfect sense (aside from the fact that the Corps had existed for over a century before Hal). Yellow draws power from both using an enemy's fears against them & accepting your own fear. Green (willpower) can overcome yellow (fear) provided that the green is brave/determined enough.

also, I kinda wanna relate the Jedi Order to the Green Lantern Corps. both are groups of people dedicated to protecting the universe's life. both utilize powers/weapons that are fairly unique to their kind. Both try not to kill people, but they totally can. Both are known as "space cops" to outsiders, even though the group's actual principles aren't meant to resemble that of <that fandom's planet>'s actual police. Both are often disagreed with by outsiders in regards to how the new GL & Younglings will be taken in, because the method doesn't take into account the age, experience, or emotional maturity of the new recruit.

The Jedi draw focus & strength from being calm in battle, and they warn against joining the Dark Side by giving into strong emotions like rage & fear. The Sinestro Corps has members who have no problem meting out punishments, having lovers, basically doing whatever TF they want.

Cody seems ok with the whole growing giant situation after he gets a handle of it. I have to ask if there has been any time where he or someone else was afraid of him? Properly afraid I mean, not just at the start like Luke.

Well... There was one incident that greatly disturbed Obi-wan and that has really cemented in him the fact he needs to train Cody on how to better control his ability. Mainly meditation and releasing his emotions into the Force.

Cody is a pretty disciplined soldier. He's got a good hold of his emotions on most days to the point he's got the perfect Sabbacc face, and not a lot of things really bother him that much (aside from the logistics of maintaining his Size-Shifting without exceeding supply consumption).

He's also an ori'vod who misses his brothers terribly, who's traumatized by his experiences serving both the Republic and the Empire, and on top of all that he has intense survivor's guilt. All of this manifests as constant nightmares, exhaustion and overprotective tendencies.

Such tendencies proved to be incredibly dangerous when, while out searching for black melons with Obi-wan and the massiff squad, Little Rex (the sandy colored massiff Cody has become very fond of) got ambushed by a Krayt Dragon.

Before Obi-wan could pacify the desert beast, Cody reacted and it wasn't pretty...

Needless to say the meat they got out of it lasted weeks after it was properly butchered and cured. But Obi-wan was thinking less about successful hunts and rescued pets, and more about the fact his friend is a lot more powerful than he originally thought if he could strike down a fully grown dragon like it was nothing.

And the last time he had to think about dangerous attachments and overprotective Force users, it didn't end well... And even if Cody isn't Anakin, Obi-wan is still quite traumatized and he doesn't want another beloved friend to fall on his watch...
