@genshinwomenarehot requested a tangled au with yandere!ningguang who acts like a mother gothel figure to darling but my dumbass accidentally deleted it while answering 😭 I'M SO SORRY AAAAAAAA hope this can compensate<3333
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gosh...imagine the GASLIGHTING.
I'd like to imagine darling as a sort of ‘lucky charm’ to Ningguang, by whose presence Ningguang's wealth flourishes — or at least, that's what she tells herself whenever her ruby gaze glides over your being. And she doesn't hesitate to shower you in the same opulence, too. You've always wanted to try this dish/dessert? Expect a whole banquet for dinner. You've wanted to try your hand at this craft? You'll find the finest materials to get started before you in minutes. You like books? Well, now you own a library. You're feeling lonely? You could've just said you wanted her to take a day-off and pay attention to you.
You've been so smothered by her benevolence that you're blissfully unaware of your predicament. The only times when this delicate saccharine dream seems to crack is when you bring up the outside world.
Even before being offered to Ningguang, you've had scarce chances for the sunlight to properly graze your skin. You did not think of it for much either and eventually, the space outside her abode seemed to spark detest within you. Therefore, the thoughts almost never occurred—after all, why should you when Ningguang says no? She has seen the worst of this world, only she is aware of the dangers lurking in every corner, she knows best. So you remained content and stayed put, much like the porcelain dolls decorating a corner of your bedroom.
But can you be blamed though? When the scenes narrated in the fantasy novels appear so glimmering, when a foreign delicacy appeases your taste buds and you'd wonder how the place it came from is like, how the people are like — so unlike what Ningguang tells you. Is the budding curiosity really as vacuous as she dismisses it as? Or is the fraction of suspicion taking root inside your soul, suspicion that your saviour, without-who-you-would-die is, perhaps lying — really just paranoia borne from lack of sleep?
With time, this skepticism extends its roots and perchance an outside force also gets involved, it'd be safe to say you would break free from these chains. But there's a catch ; you can break all the chains she craftily wrapped you in and hope for a better future — but how far do you think you can go with that ultimate shackle she has you trapped in? After all, when Lady Ningguang has her eyes on a treasure, its fate and rightful place is already determined, in her possession.

Hello! I hope im not late for he event ahaha, please forgive my bad english, its not my first language and congratulations on 1k! :D
My oc is called Atalai,Male, 23
Looks: He is a 7'2 male, with tan skin, long dark brown hair tied in a low pony tail and black eyes. He is muscular, has bull horns and tail and has a a scar running down his cheek and abother crossing his nose bridge.
Personality: He's outgoing and very kind, he is mostly friendly but he isn't naive. He is mostly calm and collected but sometimes he is quick to anger and isn't afraid of starting a fight, he likes to help people and doens't like to be fooled or tricked.
Backstory: He grew up as an orphan in Snezhnaya, and would take any job to survive, thanks to this he was able to travel other nations since young until two kind ladies took him in so he became some sort of famer assistant. he started to see them as his big sisters and he loves them a lot, being the two most important people in his life. As he grew older he started to be some type of traveler, doing any work in any nation to pay back his "Big Sisters" since he wants to give them a easier life. He learned how to fight thanks to the multiple robs he had to face at night, he uses a type of claymore that he can divide in two to turn it into dual swords, he does like the thrill of fight and hunt but he doesn't fight or hunt unless necessary.
For the yandere could i have either Zhongli, Lumine, ningguang, or Diluc please? Any of these four is fine :D
Thank you a lot and feel free to ignore if i broke any rules!
Sure, thanks for the request, Hope you'll enjoy😁
Trigger Warning: Yandere, Obsessive behaviour, Possessive behaviour, Kidnapping
Diluc: At first he is suspicious of Atalai, just like he is with anyone from Snezhnaya, it will take Diluc some time to trust him, let alone fall for him but when he falls, oh boy he falls hard, Snezhnaya doesn't deserve Atalai, his sisters doesn't deserve him, hell not even Diluc sees himself as worthy, but he sees himself as the only one that can protect him.
Diluc doesn't care how strong Atalai is, in the end he is mortal, and like any mortal he can die, so he needs to be shielded. Diluc isn't afraid of fighting him either if it's to kidnap him, sure Atalai may become a bit... burnt but Diluc doesn't mind.
"Stop being so stubborn, you are safer here then you ever was in Snezhnaya, so stop fighting it and accept that your place is by MY side"
Ningguang: She herself is from humble origins so she fells a bit connected with Atalai concerning that, but what she really falls for is his kindness as cheezy as that sounds, the fact that he can stay kind yet not naive is something she admires and she falls for, she wants him and what she wants, she gets.
Ningguang has an idea how to get him to come willingly with her, she wants to be the one in control of this relationship, at first Ningguang will try to buy him off, she can support his sisters financially, if he really wants whats best for them then he'll accept, if for some reason he refuses, well she isn't above threatening them, she has hired assassins and the second she gives the word they will die, she does all this so she can own Atalai, he is hers, he has no option in this.
"The clock is ticking, tell me your choice before I lose my patience, be mine and I'll make sure no harm comes to them"

Aahhh thank you so much for Femme Fatale Galore!! The moment I read your Beidou post, I knew it was going to be a great month. Can I pls request Ningguang with a cute little housewife reader?? (´ ▽ ` *)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ruby red eyes watched carefully the humming figure that cleaned the office oh so dutifully, a pleased smile creeping up on the lady's face. Stacks of papers were cast aside in favor of something that Ningguang favored much more and that was her precious wife.
Since when was life so sweet?
"Want some tea, dear?"
Ningguang jolted slightly at the sound of your voice, her train of thought completely shattered once she saw that you were standing in front of her. You help a precious porcelain cup in your hands as the gentle aroma of the tea filled the air but all Ningguang could think about was just how precious your hands were. The cup you were holding could probably pay off someone's entire house but even that was nothing next to you. Lady Ningguang would turn the whole of Teyvat upside down if she were to lose you, no stone would be left unturned. Rumors spread like wildfire that Ningguang had taken in a lover but very few knew that the woman was now married, happily to boot. You were her secret and by far the most precious thing she has and ever will own.
She could see your shoulders shaking ever so slightly from the corner of her eye but she decided to not bring it up. Ningguang was a reasonable woman, it's only natural that you were still tense after everything that transpired. She had found you on the streets and saved you from certain death, bathed you, clothed you and loved you like no one else in the world had done before.
But by doing so, she had plucked the last bit of freedom you had left.
Months ago Ningguang had left you with an ultimatum - be free and roam the world but death would follow no matter where you went. Or, stay, stay with her, stay with the woman that loves and adores you. She could give you everything you want and more, with her by your side nothing could hurt you ever again.
Naturally you picked the latter but... sometimes, Ningguang could feel the regret radiating off you. The frustration of being her lapdog, the shackles of being married to someone as powerful as her, it was too much for you.
She would simply have to make you stronger. That was something that she promised herself, that was the end goal.

jade-encased | yan ningguang x reader
Tumblr media
ningguang doesn't think much of your protests at all. is she not merely giving you the life you deserve? all those pesky matters, food and shelter and survival—they're long past her concerns now, so they should also be long past yours.
ningguang isn't frugal, but she isn't ostentatious either. but when it comes to you, she's willing to drape you in the finest silk, the most expensive jewels—always beautiful, never to the point of distaste, but always too heavy, too impractical.
and when you complain, tell her, "I'd like to wear my old clothes, ningguang, there's no need for all these lavish gifts," she gently touches your jaw and sighs. shakes her head tells you that it's alright, you don't have to reminisce or be afraid. you've left that life behind. you'll never have to worry about finding your next meal, shivering in the cold in a shelter that's too creaky to be sturdy.
to ningguang, mora is nice. mora is to be treasured. but it's also meant to be invested, and you're more than all the mora and wealth that ningguang has. so she'll hide you away in the safety of her jade chamber, attended to by only the most trusted in her employ. and anything you could ever want—food, dance, entertainment—she has it carried all the way up the skies of teyvat, spread out for your liking on the courtyard of the jade chamber.
ningguang will lead you by the hand, whenever she bundles you up in the cold winter air to take you outside for a breather. her fingers will rest on your shoulder, nail pricking your neck, an invisible leash at your throat as you both look down at the city. she'll tell you that this will all be hers one day, with that familiar glint in her eyes. she'll say the shadow of the jade chamber will cover all of skies above liyue and beyond, and that whatever becomes hers will be yours too.
she doesn't say that whatever is yours is hers too. she doesn't need to. the glint in her eyes is familiar for a reason. she always has it whenever she looks at you. a lidded gaze, calculating and careful and just shy of covetous, luxuriating in your presence like glaze lily in joyful song. basking in the satisfaction of knowing you will always be here, right next to her, the most lovely of all trophies in her possession.

Oracle!Reader Part 20
Masterlist - Part 1, Part 19, Part 21
1K special
Warning! This is yandere, sagau imposter au so expect lots of gore in the series. This chapter is tame in comparison to the others.
The moon glimmers in the starlit sky as a hand brushes against your newly scarred skin. Eyelashes fluttering, your vision begins to focus on the plain ceiling above you.
A coarse groan leaves your cracked lips as you flinch from the sudden pressure on your stomach. The hand quickly retreats as a pale green blob comes into view.
"...are…eeling?" The voice is barely picked up as your ears ring. Squinting your eyes, you swallow the dried saliva tasting faintly of blood.
"W-Who?" The word is coughed out as your throat struggles to form the words. Before you can ask for water, a cup is brought to your lips. The cold water brings sweet relief to your parched body.
Your senses begin to sharpen and clarity is brought back to your vision. Baizhu stands next to your bed helping you drink from the cup, though Changsheng isn't wrapped around his neck like she normally would be.
The water runs out and he draws the cup away. "How are you feeling? Your body is technically healed of its major injuries but it's still trying to adjust. The pain will continue to persist for a long while."
"I feel better than before." The reply is automatic as your hand twitches in an effort to move your muscles. The recollection of what had even brought you to Baizhu's care is a slow trickle as you process his words.
Shenhe, Yelan, the treasure hoarders, the fall and Qiqi are slotted into your memory like perfect puzzle pieces. The small pitter-patter of footsteps coming closer to you and the sound of metal being set down goes unheard by you as you focus on sitting up.
Soreness and exhaustion are impossibly heavy weights as you struggle to lift your body a few inches away from the mattress. Gentle hands support your body, along with much smaller ones on your other side.
"Thank you…" Your words are choked out between your bitten lips as a dull ache plagues your body. Clenching the blanket in your fists, you sigh in relief as a cold compress is applied to your bare back.
Wait, your bare back?
The strangeness is not lost on you as you look down at yourself. A thin hospital-like gown is all that you seem to be wearing with the blanket pooled around your waist. It takes a second for you to properly process what this means for you before you’re frantically reaching up to your face.
“No need to fret, your mask was left untouched during the treatment.”
It seems to be the truth, as your fingertips are met with cool porcelain and flaking blood. Not to mention the casual way Baizhu is speaking to you and the lack of Millelith guards swarming you.
Licking your chapped lips, you eventually arrive at the question: where do you go now? Ningguang would surely kill you if she finds out you’re still alive. Zhongli is still expecting an answer, god knows what Yelan would do and Shenhe is a wild card-
The thoughts racing in your mind are abruptly cut off as a metal tray is plopped onto your lap. A warm bowl of soup and yogurt with a soft pastel color greeted you. The refilled cup of water placed on your bedside is ignored as your mouth waters at the sight of the meal.
“Clear chicken carrot soup and fruit-flavored yogurt.” A child-like, monotonous voice comments with a deeper melodic voice following up. “I would have had food suited to your taste, but you hadn’t awoken until now. Are you allergic to anything?”
“Nope.” You replied by popping the ‘p’ before pulling the tray closer and picking up the utensils. Allergies didn’t concern your ravenous mind, as your dormant stomach awakened painfully at the smell of food. Who knows, maybe your creator buff will also prevent any allergic reactions.
An upside to being the creator was something you desperately needed after the saga of pure bullshit you’ve been through.
Baizhu gently directs Qiqi out of the room after instructing her a message you couldn’t bother to hear as you gulp down the food. When he returns, he sits next to you as the moonlight shines down from the window.
“Let me explain your previous and current state while you eat. Qiqi brought you in with multiple minor injuries, a few stab wounds, head trauma, elemental damage, with fractured and broken bones. That’s not even mentioning the severe blood loss and infections beginning to manifest on your poorly healed past injuries.” Each description is like a stab to the heart, with the visualization of your passed out body arriving to Baizhu on death's doorstep crystal clear.
“Thankfully your body reacted well with my elemental healing so the life-threatening wounds were healed, without infections, and your critical condition was toned down. That doesn’t mean you’re out of the woods yet.”
The soup and yogurt is picked clean, leading you to gulp down the water next. Looking at him, you open your mouth to ask for more food when he cuts you off firmly. “Don’t bother asking for food, the arrows didn’t hit your lungs or heart, but your abdominal organs weren’t spared. You’ll be stuck with light meals until I’m positive it’s safe.”
Resisting a scoff, you ask him. “So what’s my current condition? Will I have to stay here overnight? Hold on, can I even afford that? How much did this treatment even cost?!”
“Please calm down, Y/N.”
“How did you-”
“Your name was etched onto the bag that Qiqi brought along. As for payment, there’s no need to worry. You had a rather generous benefactor that has given us more then enough mora to cover your total cost in every possible scenario.”
That was suspicious beyond belief, but you didn’t have a reason not to believe Baizhu either. Baizhu would have healed you even without payment, but not being in debt was ideal.
This benefactor either wants something from you, wants to kill you themselves, or knows you personally.
A few people come to mind that could fit your suspicions but with so little knowledge you couldn’t confirm anything. Instead, you asked. “Isn’t doctor-patient confidentiality a thing? Did they leave any message for me?”
If Baizhu was surprised, then he hid it well. “She knew your name and appearance, though I never confirmed that you were here. She simply left the money and a verbal message asking you to have dinner with her tomorrow at 1800 in Xinyue Kiosk. But please be aware that I’m not forcing this, whether you would like me to refund the money so you can avoid interacting with her or not is completely up to you.”
Shaking your head, you declined it. “I’ll go. Since everything is paid for by her, does that also include any medicine I have to take for whatever current injuries I still have?”
“That’s right. I’m mostly prescribing supplements for the blood loss and fluid imbalance. Some are for the bones that broke, even repaired they might cause problems, so calcium intake is also important. A simple drug for your immune system, as your body's defenses are relatively low from the wounds. As well as per needed fever and pain medications.”
… You didn’t want to imagine the cost of those medications, let alone the treatment. A dinner in the most expensive restaurant in Liyue within the city with an unknown woman isn't that bad.
You've met people in worst locations and survived this long.
Pushing back the lingering worry, you focused on Baizhu’s explanation over what condition your body is in, what time to take the medicine and any other problems that could arise. It was boring, but you weren’t looking to get sick from your own stupidity.
The conversation had gone as you expected for a while until he brought up a strange topic. Flipping through a few papers, Baizhu steered the topic onto your- “Scars. Many of what you suffered from will leave new scars on your body. It’s the old scars that were peculiar.”
Knowing your luck, your scars must also be known to them. But you weren’t going to bring it up if he didn’t.
“They are imbued and cultivated with a power that is strikingly familiar, yet foreign. It actually perfectly correlates with my researched point of interest. I wanted to ask your permission on getting a sample of it before your discharge.”
That was a risky request. Your face stayed neutral as you thought to yourself. The consequences could be minor, but what if it became another situation of an accidental connection to the Creator again?
Looking back at the smiling snaked eye man, you opened your mouth to respond when he suddenly gave the fakest gasp.
“I almost forgot to mention that your old scar formations are the exact locations of the Creator’s real scars! This along with everything else I’ve seen is almost enough for me to report this to the Mille-”
“For fuck's sake just take it.” You could be excused for not playing mind games this time, being nearly dead should be enough reason for a day off.
“I want some form of compensation, though!” Being stupidly tired is a different matter then being just plain stupid.
“That’s not a problem. I’ll most likely take the sample sometime tomorrow before your discharge. So please, tell me what you have in mind by noon tomorrow so I can fetch it in time.”
In hindsight, it wasn’t surprising that Baizhu would ask this of you. Your body has clearly undergone some changes as you lived in Teyvat and Baizhu is dead set on finding a way to be immortal.
There was a time you had wondered if you might be immortal due to being the creator, so maybe Baizhu can figure it out with your sample.
“The last thing I want to address before you rest is-” Baizhu is cut off by a knock on the door. He glances at you, asking permission to open the door with his eyes before you nod firmly. Qiqi walked in earlier without knocking, so maybe it’s a visitor? But considering how late it is, maybe you were wrong…
“Come in Qiqi and bring the visitor in too.”
The door opens slowly as you watch Qiqi walk in stiffly with a yawning girl following her in at a similar height. Long light brown hair is loose as the girl rubs her eyes tiredly.
“Hello Dr. Baizhu, I came back to check one last time if the oracle- Oh!” Caramel colored eyes widen at the sight of you sitting on the bed, and the girl hurriedly gives a polite bow. A yellow plush bunny is smooshed in her arms in the process.
“Hello, pardon my rudeness. My name is Yaoyao and I was sent by my master to check on you! It’s my honor to make your acquaintance, Y/N, or would you rather me call you by the oracle title?”
The ‘little adult’ looks different without the decorative bells she usually wears in her tied up hair, but the bunny was a dead give away. You smile at the nervous girl while wondering just who told her about you being an oracle.
Baizhu was giving you a look that basically screamed suspicion.
“You can just call me Y/N. By master, you mean Madame Ping, right?” Yaoyao beams at that as she steps closer.
“That’s correct, we learned about you from the other Adepti and Xiangling.” You should have known. “When we heard that you were here, I was sent on my Master's orders and Ganyu’s concern. Visitors weren’t allowed earlier, but I wanted to check one last time.”
Ganyu too? That basically guarantees Ningguang, Keqing, Zhongli and even more knowing that you’re here. But more importantly was the fact that Baizhu investigated anything connected to the Adepti for his immortality quest.
You could only hope that Baizhu would be happy with a basic explanation and the sample of your scar tissue as promised.
“Visitors was the last topic I wanted to address.” Baizhu smoothly joins as he gets up from his seat and heads toward a desk on the far side of the room. A small pile of letters and a pile of gifts sit on the table next to your bag. How didn’t you notice it before?
“After a patient here noticed you before she was discharged, she and her guardian left you a letter with a present. I believe she may have been the one to spread it, but I ask you to kindly not hold anger against her. She’s rather young.”
So the little leaker was a child? It could be one of the kids you saved, but none of them could really afford to go to Baizhu. Not that he would have denied them but most children in that situation don’t go unless on the verge of death or pushed by an adult.
“It’s okay, I’ll look through the stuff in the morning.” As if on cue, Yaoyao fails to hide a yawn as she walks to stand next to your bed.
“Auntie Cloud Retainer and the rest of the Adepti told Master what happened on Mt. Aocang. Master really wants to meet you, so if you have any time to spare, please pay her a visit here at the Yujing Terrace near the Yiyan temple.”
Nodding absentmindedly, you make a mental note of that before asking Yaoyao a question in return.
“Just how many people in general know that I’m here? I know quite a few people and Qiqi being here must have been quite a spectacle… But surely it must not have been too much considering that it was the middle of the night.”
The nervous expression on Yaoyao face dashes away any hopes you had.
“Sorry Y/N but a lot of the city was speaking about you. Even nature and the animals kept mentioning you! Though they were a little more vague. If it helps, most people know you as a masked person rather than your name.”
Sighing, you don’t even bother hiding the distaste on your face. Changing masks wouldn’t do much and you sure as hell can’t remove it either, leaving you with the sole option of leaving.
Leaving before anyone else can attack you in this fast-pace city filled with greed and ambition. If you stayed here any longer, you’ll surely be pulled into whatever new situation happens and only get more attention.
The dinner you had first worried about is almost miniscule compared to the threat of Yelan and Shenhe knowing your location. More so, Yelan as she has an obligation to get rid of you due to her job rather than Shenhe’s emotional motive.
Your mind replays the last bit of your fight where you had touched the waypoint and- Oh fuck. Groaning, you dumped your face into your hands as Yaoyao watched you worriedly. Her worried calls rolled off you like waves as you remember how the teleport waypoint glowed in front of everyone.
That’s a complete group of people, treasure hoarders nonetheless, that saw you activate it. Yelan could use that information and the witnesses in whatever stupidly clever way she wants!
Yaoyao looks back at Baizhu confused as he shakes his head silently. Qiqi picks up a glass of coconut milk and begins to walk towards you with it before Baizhu blocks her way.
Fingers digging into your scalp, you resist the urge to pull your hair as you bite your still slightly bruised lips. The realization of what kind of ammo you gave Yelan was killing you.
Baizhu takes the glass from Qiqi and puts it back down before handing her a glass of water. Qiqi stares blankly at Baizhu before switching the glasses again. As the two continuously switch cups, Yaoyao rummages in her bag.
A sting of pain begins to grow as you get dangerously closer to the recently healed head wound. The smell of something sweet yet earthy snaps you out of your stress-fueled self depreciation as small hands pry your rough ones away.
“Please be careful Y/N, Dr. Baizhu is a great doctor but you shouldn’t hurt yourself like this. Have a candied date, it's golden honey flavored and works great to get rid of the bitter medicinal taste that he prescribes.”
It didn’t smell too bad, so you hesitantly took it from her hands and glanced back at Baizhu in case he tries to confiscate it. With his back safely turned, you pop the candied date into your mouth.
It’s a nice taste and it does work well as a distraction from your worries. “Thank you Yaoyao.” Your hand reaches out instinctively and pats her head. “The Creator views you fondly and one day your fate will intersect with the creator’s just like it did with the Adepti.”
The lie flows smoothly from your mouth as she smiles brightly up at you. Her eyes move down to the blanket as she responds. “I still don’t quite know what that means, but I’m sure I’ll be able to properly appreciate it once I’m older.”
Qiqi joins you both and hands you a glass of water that you take from her gratefully. Your hand leaves Yaoyao’s head to rest on the bed, making Qiqi look away with a pout. Before you can question the unexpected reaction, Baizhu redirects the conversation.
“I understand that you hold some valid concerns over your safety, Y/N. This situation isn’t one we deal with frequently, but we do have measures in place.”
The look you send him speaks a thousand words as he sighs and adds. “Free of charge, of course, as it counts as patient confidentiality.”
“Bubu’s Pharmacy has tight security measures and Millelith frequent the area due to it being near the Yiyan Temple and the Welkin Temple.” You were 100% sure that the second temple did not exist before you came here. “Me and Qiqi both reside here and as experienced vision holders, you’ll be in safe hands.”
Nodding in understanding, you can’t deny that it felt safer knowing you weren’t going to be left alone. Your body was still exhausted and in the midst of healing so you didn’t have much energy to defend yourself with if Ningguang were to send another person after you.
“Qiqi doesn’t sleep much, so she’ll keep an eye out for anything amiss.” And you were right back to feeling anxious. Baizhu was relaxed as he tidied up the room, while Yaoyao spoke softly to Qiqi.
Glancing at the zombie child, you repeated the mantra to yourself that anyone could be a DPS in Genshin. You just needed to check her equipment before bed.
Yaoyao turns back to you with a sleepy smile. “I’ll be taking my leave now. I wish you a swift recovery, and I look forward to seeing you again with my Master.” With a casual wave, you let that be your only farewell as you drink the glass of water Qiqi handed you earlier.
Baizhu pats his clothing down as he calls out to Yaoyao right as she opens the door.
“Oh Yaoyao, since you’ll be relaying the message to Madam Ping and Ganyu, please have Ganyu tell Ningguang about Y/N’s acceptance to dinner for me as well.”
The water you were drinking goes down the wrong way at those words.
Coughing, you yank the glass away as you look back up to the surprised Baizhu. “Did you say Ningguang? Was she the one who paid for everything and asked for the dinner?”
Baizhu smiles pleasantly with little regard for your shaky tone as he nods. There goes every flicker of hope you had that Ningguang wasn’t your benefactor.
Every drop of blood your body synthesized to restore you back to normal is drained as you pale at the confirmation. Just how the hell did you manage to meet Zhongli, Yelan, and Ningguang!?
They are all people you wanted to avoid, and you definitely shouldn’t have met, considering the fact that people pay to even get an hour with Ningguang, let along a whole ass dinner invite!
Was there some stupid rule that goes along with being the creator making you meet nearly every acolyte that exists?
So busy cursing yourself and the entirety of Teyvat out, you don’t notice how Baizhu corrals Yaoyao out of the room before heading to you, as Qiqi watches from the sidelines.
“My, my you’ve gone pale at the news Y/N.” Baizhu’s glasses glint a little from the flickering lantern illuminating the room. He smiles down at you with half-lidded eyes that stare at you strangely.
“I didn’t realize that I forgot to tell you who it was. If you decide to, we can always cancel it and send a priority letter before discussing a payment plan.”
Squinting your eyes, you shake your head ‘no’ as you try to read the simultaneously shady yet reckless doctor. It didn’t seem like he had any malicious intentions, as he very much did mean to hide it. But you can’t be sure that he had any good intentions either.
“That’s a shame, I was looking forward to discussing alternate ways of paying that don’t require mora.” …Yeah, no matter what way you put it or how clean Baizhu keeps his reputation. One can not simply not be seen as shady while going around saying stuff like that.
So not only is Baizhu showing signs of that strange attachment in a matter of hours, but Ningguang decided to suddenly switch her tactics. From ‘investigate and kill if deemed a threat’ to ‘generous wealthy person that totally isn’t covering up a crime’.
Could you possibly get Yanfei to sue Ningguang if you aren’t poisoned at the dinner?
Maybe, but that’s all riding on the chance that you aren’t killed in some coincidental accident before then. Waving away the pessimistic and slightly comical thoughts, you look up at Baizhu as he dims the lantern.
“The pharmacy opens at 0900 in the morning. Are you willing to take visitors from that point on till your discharge at 1300?” Briefly looking at the letters and gifts, you nod silently.
Baizhu’s smile doesn’t waver as he responds casually. “Many people will be happy to hear that Y/N, you seem quite popular.”
He opens the door before kneeling to Qiqi’s height. “The last order I have for you tonight is to keep watch over Y/N and protect them if need be. Understand?”
Qiqi tilts her head at that and blandly states. “Order received. Order cannot be processed. Original intended function still active and in place.”
Baizhu frowns at that as you look at Qiqi curiously. His expression quickly smooths back to a calm smile as he stands up. “As long as the ending is the same, then I don’t mind.”
He glances at you one last time as the door creaks open to show the dark hallway. Slitted eyes meet yours, full of curiosity and intrigue. They almost glow as he steps into the hallway with Qiqi in tow before the door closes softly.
Sighing in relief, you flop back onto the bed and roll in the covers for a position that won’t put pressure on your aching muscles. Baizhu’s increasingly strange behavior slithers back into your mind as you close your eyes.
Just why didn’t he ask you about being an oracle yet? Is he planning on getting the Millelith? No, he would have done so much earlier. Maybe he’s trying to gather some blackmail on you?
The possibilities torment your exhausted mind as you finally settle on just explaining yourself tomorrow when you get the scar sample from you. When you open your eyes, the flame has already burned away, leaving your only light as the moon.
Staring at it, you think back to the waypoints. Are they finally fixed? Can you use them again? You couldn’t test it out now, but you could do so when you leave after the dinner with Ningguang.
Which region should you travel to next? There was no may you could stay or go back to Inazuma, so it’s either Mondstadt or Sumeru as they are the closest.
Closing your eyes, you try to imagine what traveling through the terrain would be like to arrive in the city. Frowning, you continue by imagining what it would be like traveling in that region for the weekly commissions.
It’s a simple decision really as Sumeru had a wide range of animals and poisonous plants to fight past. While Mondstadt had that sweet peaceful greenery from being the starter city with the lowest amount of treasure hoarders thanks to a certain Cryo user.
Deciding that you’ve picked your brain enough on the topic, you shut your eyes for some actual rest.
A moment passes, and then another, as the wind rustles the leaves on the tree outside the window. The faint sound of a sweet croon reaches your ears as you stubbornly keep your eyes closed.
As your mind is slowly consumed by the heavy exhaustion and the dimness of the room, two thoughts come to mind.
One, you forgot to check Qiqi’s equipment. Two, just what made you be locked out from the teleport waypoints if it counts as a game mechanic from Genshin Impact itself?
—---------------
“The moon is quite beautiful at this time of night.” A kind and knowing voice says as wrinkled hands pick out the bits of leaves from long white hair. The moonlight illuminates the silvery strands as it gradually is picked clean to its former glory.
“Child, just what has happened that you come to me out of all the Adepti for assistance?” A red rope is cut into perfect portions and tied to form the perfect braid. A Cryo vision sits innocently as the centerpiece, while a monochrome ornament adorns the top.
“I cannot advise you on the matter that troubles you if you do not speak, Shenhe.” Iridescent eyes finally move up from the ground to meet the elderly woman’s warm ones. Shenhe struggles to speak as her head dips forward.
“I… I hurt someone badly. But they hurt me too.” Shenhe holds her hands together in a prayer like motion as her eyes flutter close. “But at the end, they showed me something I couldn’t believe. No. That I refused to believe and even helped me.”
With a hunched back and patience learned over thousands of years, the old woman stays quiet. Giving the oh-so apathetic disciple time to put her thoughts into words.
“I don’t know what to do, and master isn’t the most adept when it comes to humans. But you, Streetward Rambler are, in more than one way. You constitute as a human more than me.”
Shenhe closes her eyes as she thinks back to her encounter with you. The truth you didn’t hesitate to spit in her face, the raw anger you expressed at her delusions and denial.
“I just want to understand these emotions. Are they a witch’s, an Adepti’s or a human’s emotions? Not even these ropes are stopping them!” Shenhe tugs at the newly bound rope in frustration but stops at the touch of light fingertips.
Madam Ping smiles warmly down at Shenhe. “None of those answers are correct child. They are simply your emotions. And I believe deep down, you already know what you feel. You just don’t know what to do with them.”
Shenhe looks at the ground with a mixture of guilt and self-loathing swarming inside her. It was true, wasn’t it? That day you spoke her feelings in the bluntest way possible, but here she was, still trying to deny it.
“Then what do I do? Is it really okay to love someone that hurt you? I don’t want a repeat of my childhood… I just want to treasure and use this new chance at connecting with my entire self that the Creator has graced me with.”
The hand that pats her head is familiar and warm. Childhood memories of her shedding those human emotions she once thought weak come to mind before Madam Ping’s voice brings her back.
“Trusting in the Creator and following the path they opened for you, no matter how scary or concerning, is always the right path. Follow me Shenhe.”
Madam Ping is quick to walk away toward the two temples, as Shenhe follows her swiftly. The Yiyan Temple for the Geo Archon is laughably small in comparison to the huge Welkin Temple behind it.
They climb the stairs past the Yiyan Temple and enter the luxurious archway leading into the Welkin Temple. Decorations laced with jewels, paintings of the highest caliber, and statues of the rarest minerals are a common sight in it.
As Liyue Harbors sole temple, the city and its citizens spared no expanse in making sure it was top-notch. That included the deceased Geo Archon who left it in the care of the Liyue Qixing before his passing.
The pair walked through the halls as many people prayed and worshiped within the dead of the night without care for the passing onlookers.
Everyone gathered here at this time of night is here to do the same thing after all.
A couple of people amble past the determined Adeptus and disciple into the barren clinic as physicians begin to care for them. The blood, bone, and missing parts of skin are applauded before quickly being catered to.
Madam Ping enters the hallway where many citizens wait outside the rooms for their turn. Yet instead of stopping like Shenhe expected, the old woman brings her to a hidden staircase around the corner.
The two climb up and up, till they reach the rooftop where an alter sits. Shenhe is well aware what she must do for the answers she desires. Kneeling before it, Shenhe gratefully takes the ceremonial spear handed to her by Madame Ping.
“You have matured enough to earn the privilege of giving a piece of yourself to the Holy One. I can only excitedly wait for the day my own disciples can have this honor.” With a calm yet cheery chuckle, Madame Ping moves away from the grave faced Shenhe.
“Oh Holy Creator, God of all that has lived, lives, and lives on. Listen to this acolytes prayer and grant me but a crumb of your wisdom. Though I am foolish and mortal, your mercy shines down on in the form of that person.”
The spear is raised into the air as Shenhe stays kneeling and points the spear down.
“Please, Divine One, show this wretched girl just how I’m supposed to make it up to Y/N.”
The spear drives down and the crimson droplets stain the altar like a dazzling flourish of rose petals.
Well this took a long while. This time it wasn't school but just personal stuff. Between house hunting, family feud, car problems, and just trying to keep up with school. I haven't got much of a break. But things have finally calmed down somewhat so I used it to get this done. What also helped was making the outline for the 1k special. I think I should have it done for the next update instead of the regular chapter. But I did notice that a good chunk wanted regular chapters instead so I got a compromise. The special features Mondstadt (as most sagau start in Mond so I thought it would be fun) and it'll be a teaser to what Mondstadt has in store for you all. I'm not sure how many of you have noticed but each region has a certain theme when it comes to worship. Inazuma with sacrificing, Liyue with self mutilation, and Mondstadt will be hinted at in the special. My editor, @serpent-benediction, did this super late last night so props for once. But if there are claims to being anything more than an editor then don't listen. I keep basically everybody in the dark. Kinda feel like death so if you have any questions or comments I will answer them as soon as I can read again. Taglist: is open for anyone so just comment if you want to join <3

Going with this thought I had for Pantalone
Pantalone goes on a diplomatic trip to Liyue to check on the ban there and meet with Lady Ningguang about some business deals. There he hears rumors whispered around about Ningguang‘s new assistant, a smart, intelligent, business savvy woman. Pantalone doesn’t pay much attention to these rumors. Then later he is sitting with Ningguang, discussing business deals when a knock is heard at the door. Ningguang allows them to answer and there in the doorway with two guards on either side is his darling, the same one who he destroyed the business of, the same one who ran away. She stands there, finely dressed, she sees Pantalone but she only scoffs and approaches Ningguang, handing her a report. The two talk about the report for a short moment while the banker sits there in absolute and utter shock at his darling’s audacity to choose to ignore him.
When his darling leaves the room to take care of something else they continue to talk about their business deal but then he asks a question. How much would it take for Ningguang would give his darling to him? Ningguang out right laughs at this, telling him that the darling isn’t for sale and never will be. She calls the meeting to an end and has her men escort him out, but in the way out she looks back at him with a smile and tells him that she merely took in what left him.
While Pantalone is trying to figure a way to get his darling back that night, Ningguang is getting her darling dressed up for a dinner tonight, dressed in silks and gold.

Sorry if you cant understand this request but...
Can I request any Yan!Genshin character(s) reaction to seeing Reader not using their gifts. When they ask about it Reader just says they are keeping it safe by not using it because their really clumsy and dosent want to destroy it...
(I just want to say your Yan!Academy!Genshin art is very cute and its very lovely <3)
"Sorry, i just can't trust myself to not break it" (+Art)
Yan!Genshin charas when you don't use their gift (int his context,i would assume trinkets and stuff)
CW : Soft yan, this time they are nice, fluff(?), implying possessive behaviour
~~~~
When you guys meet again, they see no glimpse of the gift they gave ON you. Then you explain that it is too precious so you store it somewhere.
“Huh? So what? I can always buy or fix it for you”.
They can always get/ make another one. But deep down, they feel warmth in their sick twisted heart.
“You cherish it so much you are worried it will break?? Oh! You know the only thing you can break from me is my patience sanity, darling.” (Ningguang, Childe, Kaeya, )
~~~~
Confused, perplexed, bewildered, distressed. Even though you assure them that you are just worried about the gift breaking or missing, they can’t get rid of the feeling that you mean otherwise.
‘Is it...bad? Is it not to your liking? Are you too ashamed to wear it? Wait, what if you actually wear someone else’s gift?!”.
Why don’t you wear it? They just want to show their love to you by ‘marking’ you of their item, don’t you want people to know you are theirs?? Well, no matter! They will just give you more kinds of gifts and hope you will wear one of them.
“Oh..you sure? Maybe it is not to your liking? You are clumsy and afraid to break it? Well, at this point you might as well break my heart-“ (Diluc, Aether, Ayaka, Itto)
~~~~
"I see.” They understand, if they were in your shoes, they too would store any precious items from you close to them. Hell! If it is possible they would totally stick it right beside their heart.
“Well, I know how to properly keep the gift I gave you in pristine condition. It is better if I do it myself, I assume the gift is at your home? No, I don’t mind the walk, let’s go to your house. I insist” careful,they might take a souvenir from your house (Albedo, Zhongli, Tighnari, Eula)
~~~~
“I’m a bit offended, really. Is it really that hard to take care of a gift from me? What’s with that look? You know I am just joking~”
they are not joking Please wear it next time (Cyno,Ayato,Yae)
I wanna make reader/you wear fingerless glove ngl

Content : Kaeya and Diluc's wonderful sibling dynamic, Pantalone's charisma, Ningguang and Beidou making me question things about myself, Venti's poetic rumbles, Aether's sister issues
As it is a "x Reader", i use the pronoun "you" and wrote the protagonist as gender neutral.

In the city of contracts, one might never sleep admidst the lights adorning the starry night. The milliths exhibit strong commitment to the protection of their people and, to some extent, their alcohol. Priorities vary, with some indulging in their duty while others drink to their heart's content. For example, a reckless young knight in training sneaks in the few dim alleys the town might provide, a risky task considering his bright red hair. However, this detail doesn't dissuade him from neglecting his duties and following his own sense of justice.
"I hope you got a good excuse for this one, you know. I'm running out of ideas to give Varka and Jean to save our badges."
The knight's face betrays little surprise as he observes the other man leaning on his shoulders. The redhead stares at his coworker and gives him a forceful shove, clearly irritated by his mere presence. The other knight raises his hands as to surrender, a quirky smile growing on his features.
Seizing the man by his collar, the redhead forcefully pins him against the nearest wall. One hand silences the sweet talker, while the other firmly grips the weapon's pommel at his belt. Despite this, the knight's focus remains fixed on the pair strolling past the concealed alley. Only when the target disappears from his view does the redhead shift his attention to the restricted man.
"If you're so afraid to lose your career, why do you keep following me ? Tell me Kaeya, is it funny for you to stick your nose in my business ?"
Kaeya, as he's called, emits a dry laugh before forcing himself out of the redhead's grip. He brushes off his shoulder pads and arranges his hair to his preferred style, tidy yet with a hint of wildness.
"I care about you Diluc, is that so hard to catch on ? You're the only family i have left. You know ? Your brother ?"
The red hair is quick to rectify the man.
"Adoptive brother."
Unfazed by the knight's irritable mood, Kaeya crosses his arms and nonchalantly toys with his nails. Diluc, rolling his eyes, shifts his attention to the pair he's been tailing. He silently curses upon spotting them entering one of the numerous restaurants lining the main street.
"Fantastic, just splendid. Now, either you willingly return to Varka and the Tianquan, or I'll simply knock you out and leave you here until I'm done."
"Or, I could help you get to the bottom of your self-assigned heroic mission, because I know troubles come when you get impulsive like that."
Diluc grunts in his breath, accepting the situation as it is, much to the patched eye knight's delight.

In the Liuli Pavilion, customers savored their meals in tranquility, engaging in cheerful conversations about their day and the latest gossip. However, an air of tension hung over the staff tonight. While some attributed it to the festivities taking place, little did they know that the luxurious VIP room, a privilege only accessible to a select few in Teyvat, had been reserved for the evening by one of the renowned harbinger.
Raising his wine glass, the ninth harbinger subtly toasts the occasion with his present partner. Sipping the drink, he places it meticulously on the table, ensuring his actions meet the standards of the person sitting across from him. As his lavender eyes gracefully meet yours, he can feel his smile growing fondly.
"Now that I think about it, you never gave me one of your intertwined fate, hum~?"
His comment makes you scoff in slight mockery, amused by his phrasing.
"You know very well that's not how it works."
Sadly for you, he isn't one to back down easily, he tends to lean more towards negotiation. Despite having performed numerous deeds for you, the unfortunate truth is that you've settled every debt owed to him. Your shared appreciation for fairness is a quality he respects. Even if he loathes the lack of any blackmail's materials he could use against you, it's very unlikely that he will take action to remedy this fact.
"Even if I generously provide the goods~?"
Setting aside your chopsticks, you emphasize your point. Normally, engaging in a debate with him would be enjoyable, but at the moment, you don't have the mind for such mental games.
"Pantalone."
Considering his personality, you should have known that such a small display won't faze him.
"[Name]."
You sigh and focus your attention on the meal he graciously covered for you. Though you could have easily afforded it, you appreciate the care. While savoring your food and avoiding prolonged eye contact, your pointed ear twitches at a sudden yet subtle sound.
"Is something disturbing you ?"
Glancing discreetly at one of the open windows, you reassure the man, hoping to lessen his keen interest in your every move. His meticulous gaze is bound to make you uneasy. It would be in your best interest to change the subject.
"A war is brooming."
The revelation doesn't appear to surprise the man greatly as he gestures for you to carry on.
"Hum ? And, what kind ?"
"I cannot see what the future unfolds, Pantalone, I'm no seer. It could be harsh, fierce or treacherous, I wouldn't know."
Chuckling, the man runs his finger along the rim of his glass before indulging in another sip.
"I'm gonna need more information, my dear. I'm afraid I can't do much with only an assumption."
Seizing your food in a more aggressive manner, you point your chopsticks towards the man's face.
"It's far from a possibility, it will happen."
Pantalone leans to eat the food held between your utensils with a rather teasing smile. He finishes his mouth while whipping any condiment that might have clung to his lips.
"Hm, quite salty if you want my opinion. Anyway, how come one who can't grasp the future like you, your words not mine, seems so convinced that a war will occur, hum~?"
As a way to turn back on him, you snatch a portion of his food directly from his plate. Deliberately savoring each bite at a slow pace, your resentful gaze remains fixed on his. You're not one who likes to share.
"I didn't know you could be childlike, it's quite cute~."
Clearing your throat, you refuse to get embarrassed by such words.
"As I was saying, I am sure it will happen because it concerns my kind."
As you finish your plate, you fold your hands together, creating a makeshift headrest. You catch the curious gaze of the harbinger as he gestures you to pursue.
"They have started to show an interest in this world. And believe me that it will get ugly once they come here. After all, Teyvat and its people are one of a kind."
Pantalone appears to think for a moment, his usual smile shifting in a subtle frown.
"I understand now the kind of problems such scenery could cause... What about you ? What would you do if- I mean, when the time comes ?"
You smile brightly, seemingly eager to answer this specific question. The man cannot help but notice the subtle glimmers of light shining softly around your head. While you may view it as an annoying flaw, he appreciates the element's reactions to your mystical presence. These manifestations are a giveaway on your feelings, making it easier for him to read.
He chuckles to himself while reminded of that one time steam literally came out of your ears.
"I already planned everything to the last minus detail, you don't have to worry about me."
Pantalone returns your smile and not so subtly extends his hand toward yours. He smoothly intertwines his fingers with yours, giving them a reassuring squeeze.
"Oh I'm not worried, I know you're capable~. I was merely curious if you would be more... open at the thought of fulfilling your role as a guide, especially in this context. After all, you still lack a main vessel, don't you ?"
You swiftly withdraw your hand from his grasp before standing up. Your gaze shifts to the open window where a little wick of red could be seen next to a soft looking lock of blue.
"Our time together was pleasant, but i'm afraid you'll have to excuse me."
As you take your leave, Pantalone's smile fades as he too stands up from his seat. It seems he took things too personal again. He approaches the staff member, seemingly waiting for the dinner's payment, and gives him the right amount via a lavish bag full of moras.
"H-hope to see you again, s-sir."
Disregarding the pitiful display, he leaves the establishment , wondering when he might have the opportunity to see you once more.

"Ningguang, please, i beg of you to listen to reason. This kind of threat doesn't loom over Mondstadt alone, all of Teyvat is at risk."
The grand master of the Knights of Favonius searches fervently for any signs of concern in the reddish eyes of the woman before him, yet her smile remains calm and unfazed. Her presence commands respect as she speaks to the man in an eloquent tone, dismissing his concerns with a flick of her fan.
"I am well aware of the situation in the north and the peril it poses, Varka. However, I feel the need to remind you that our capabilities are limited in addressing this issue."
The towering man forcefully slams his fist on the woman's desk, causing some paperwork to flutter down gradually. Under normal circumstances, Varka isn't someone to easily lose his composure. Yet, with the recent surge of problems, even his usual calm begins to falter.
"Stop beating around the bush !"
Displeased with the man's tone, Ningguang rises from her seat and strides toward the irritated knight. She seizes the man's cheeks, causing him to grunt from the pressure made by her claw-like jewelry.
"The Qixing and I are currently deeply engaged in the construction of the Jade Chamber, i cannot allow half of the millith's forces to join the knights of favonius in a perilous mission doomed unsucessfull. Do i make myself clear ?"
Varka attempts to free himself from Ningguang's grasp by reaching for her hand, but the noblewoman prevents him from doing so by stepping back herself. Seated elegantly on her desk, she discards her fan to take a slight inhale from her pipe, attentively observing the resentful gaze of the man.
"I came to Liyue believing that the Tianquan would be the most understanding. Unfortunately, it seems that selfishness plagues all nations."
"Cut her some slack old man, not everybody is willing to die for some greater good. Here, have a drink."
Varka looks at the half-naked woman slouching on the expensive couch while presenting him an opened flask, most likely containing alcohol. The man averts his eyes, embarrassed by her shameless behavior.
"Oh archons, please, have some decency."
The woman slowly rises from the couch and approaches the man with an unusual sway. As she walks towards him, she struggles to maintain balance on her two feet. Her body moves uncontrollably, resembling the unsteady motion of a boat. Stopping uncomfortably close to Varka, to his displeasure, she fervently pokes his chest.
"Well, look who's talking! You're the one who barged in uninvited in the middle of the night while this elegant lady and I were enjoying a wonderful night of passion."
Ningguang observes the interaction closely but takes no action to intervene as the woman keeps on intruding the man's personal space. However, her passive behavior changes abruptly when her loved one begins to slide her hand under Varka's uniform.
"Beidou, i must advise you to refrain from teasing him, the gentleman appears to be on the brink of mortification~."
The sea woman gives the man some space without making a fuss, returning to the couch. Flopping onto it crudely, she sips her beverage while muttering inaudible words to herself. Ningguang lets out a sigh as she glances at the drunk woman pouting.
On the other hand, Varka straightens his knight's uniform, choosing to close the topic and avoid dwelling on it any further.
"Your nocturnal escapades are not on my list of interests and i'd like to keep it that way. Spare me the details and we'll all sleep a little more soundly, thank you."
Just as Beidou was about to voice her mind, the door to the private room burst open. Two young knights hurriedly entered, slamming the door shut as if sealing themselves off from a pursuing threat. Judging by Kaeya's heavy breathing, he seemed as if he had just sprinted for his life. Diluc, though equally exhausted, maintained a more composed demeanor.
"Care to explain where you two were ?"
The brothers instantly straightened from their slouching forms, standing at attention, fists over their hearts. Varka folded his arms, seemingly awaiting a response. Diluc broke the silence, his eyes challenging the Grand Master's gaze as he spoke first.
"On duty."
Kaeya scoffs dismissively, adding a sardonic remark to punctuate his disdain.
"I'm not sure discretely following a harbinger and a guide, getting discovered and almost dying on the spot was part of the mission we were assigned to."
The Tianquan's ears perk up at the mention of such individuals by the young knight. If his statement proved to be true, then troubles were brewing right under her nose. The prospect doesn't sit well with her.
Diluc quickly retorts with a tone laced with disdain, his brother's attitude getting on his nerves more than it already has.
"Would it kill you to shut your mouth once in a while ?"
"Would it kill you to respect the knight's code once in a while ?"
Beidou erupts into a loud laughter as it slowly fades into amused chuckles. In her inebriated state, the interaction between the two unfolds as a hilarious spectacle. Varka doesn't appear to find the situation funny as his facial expression twitches with carefully concealed anger.
Interestingly, Diluc appeared to share a similar state, albeit for different reasons.
"You don't even know what you're talking about."
Kaeya makes a concerted effort to maintain formation as he turns his head to look at the redhead.
"Oh, forgive me ! All you ever do is chase your damn heart's desires in the guise of justice, and that's precisely how you put not just yourself but everyone around you in danger ! You're downright inconsiderate and recklessly hot-headed."
Sensing a headache starting to form, Varka decides to finally intervene.
"That's enough, both of you. Childish bickering is unbecoming of knights. Now, I want to know where you were and what you were doing. Keep it brief."
The bluish knight keeps his eyes shut and mouth silent. His brother decides to confront the Grand Master, seemingly unimpressed by his towering composure and the fact that he could send him flying with a flick of his wrist.
"It doesn't matter what we witnessed, you couldn't possibly do anything about it anyway. Just like your expedition in the north, they won't amount to anything in the end."
The fiery attitude of the knight briefly snaps the drunk woman out of her clouded mind. She cheers with her nearly empty bottle before sleep reclaims her once more.
"Ah ! The kid got some spunk ! Reminds me of... what was his name again...?"
Diluc coughs as smoke wafts into his face. He glances at the woman responsible, who smiles while inhaling from her pipe again.
"It would be in your best interest to learn what to keep to yourself and what should be shared, boy. If a guide is indeed involved with a harbinger, something serious is looming. Trust me, you don't want the weight of people's lives on your shoulders."
The knight ignites the remaining essence inside the pipe, allowing it to burn and depriving her of anything else to smoke. The woman scoffs at the man's use of his Pyro vision. It's akin to witnessing a child throwing a tantrum for not being taken seriously. Yet, unlike the hollow threats of a kid, the fire in his eyes dared the Tianquan to change his mind.
Surveying the remaining people, he briefly locks eyes with Kaeya. Sensing his concern, yet dismissing it, he storms out of the room.
"I know what i must do, and it doesn't concern any of you."

A loud shattering noise brings Diluc back to his senses. He glances at the culprit and frowns upon seeing the local bard laying on the floor with a broken wine bottle. Giggling to himself, the drunkard appears to be in his own world, thoroughly enjoying himself. The bartender grabs him by his shirt, hoisting him back onto his stool.
With the late hour upon him, Diluc finds himself with only the lonesome bard as a customer. Eager to begin his journey home and well aware of this specific client's penchant to be annoying when it comes to alcohol, he decides to employ a different strategy than his usual approach.
"So, when do you think i should kick you out ?"
Venti continues to giggle slightly, leaning on the bar counter. He toys with the glass Diluc so gracefully served him, mischief forming in his eyes as he glances at the redhead. Strangely enough, he doesn't seem to be that drunk anymore.
"Let's say... If you tell me why you were lost in such a thoughtful row, i might let you know~."
The bartender dismisses it with a simple shrug, clearly not in the mood to satisfy the bard's curiosity.
"I was just reminded of something."
As the breeze softly wafts through a small crack in the bar's window, Venti's smile takes on a more knowing gleam. He slides his empty glass playfully along the counter, a silent request to get a refill. Unfortunately, Diluc only takes the glass to clean it, refusing to pour more alcohol for him.
As he resigned on getting more of the sweet beverage, Venti sighs and settles on trying to decipher the bartender's thoughts.
"Well, I don't mind to guess~."
Diluc scoffs, skeptical of the drunkard's boastful claim. While he doesn't feel the need to engage in Venti's game, a hint of curiosity lingers. Who knows, perhaps the bard might have something intriguing to say.
"I've caught wind that the traveler's back from their journey. We haven't crossed paths, but rumor has it that their tale isn't quite cheery."
As Venti's concern reflects in his eyes, Diluc can only wonder what's hidden behind those poetic rumbles.
"I've known about their return in Mondstadt for quite a while now, but i haven't gotten the chance to meet them yet."
The bard contemplates the redhead's words with a thoughtful hum. Determined to get under his skin, he retrieves his lyre, creating a gentle tune that pierces the silence in the tavern. His expression bears the weight of sorrow as he poetically expresses his thoughts.
"Let his story be a lesson.
One learned from past takes,
To steer clear of repeating mistakes.
Beware of ones who claim as guides,
for their path conceals deceptive tides.
As stories have shown,
they cannot be trusted to bring you home.
Truth easily brushed aside with vows so sweet,
Yet, remember, once humans, their hearts did beat.
Let their story be a lesson,
Unspoken, like an untold confession.
One that shall not be named,
so it may never repeat again."
As the melody gently fades away, satisfaction spreads into the bard upon witnessing surprise on the man's features.
"Hehe, told you i was good at guessing~."
In his silent contemplation, Diluc gazes at the sword that once symbolized his knighthood, now relegated to a mere wall ornament. There was a time when he wielded it with pride. These days, when confronted with his nocturnal 'duties', he opts for heavier armaments. Regrettably, without his claymore in close reach, his former sword remains the sole option should the need for self-defense arise.
"Such strange beings... Aren't they fascinating ? While not being from these lands, it feels as if they've existed here long before life itself."
Venti follows the redhead's gaze, unbothered by his cautious demeanor. After all, he, too, once felt intimidated by the mere mention of guides. Nevertheless, his past fear primarily stemmed from his unfamiliarity with them. Having personally witnessed their exceptional powers, he understands that while one should avoid provoking them, it's quite simple to earn their favor.
"Some cruel, some benevolent, they only share their pride. Powerful yet feeble, to survive, they are reliant on what they term a 'vessel'. To their host, they may seem divine, yet in truth, they're nothing but a parasite."
Observing the bard rise from his stool, Diluc steps away from the counter to obstruct the main entrance of the tavern. Crossing his arms, he challenges Venti to take another step, his pyro vision blazing brightly as a silent warning.
"How do you know so much about them ?"
Amused by the situation, the not quite inebriated individual appears unfazed by Diluc's fiery demeanor, lifting his arms in mock surrender. His eyes emit a faint glow as a gust of wind forcefully opens the window, extinguishing all the candles illuminating the tavern. Irritated by the incessant noise of the window slamming against the wall, Diluc promptly closes it. Turning his attention back to the bard, he furrows his brows upon realizing that Venti hasn't made a hasty retreat. It's peculiar since the bard is renowned for employing cunning tactics to escape undesirable situations. Venti nonchalantly shrugs in response to the accusing gaze from the redhead, as if he weren't the one responsible for the sudden gust of wind, despite the 'anemo vision' resting on his belt.
"That's a tale for another day~. What's more important is why you seem to hold such an interest in them."
Realizing the bard has no intention to utter another word, Diluc sighs and clears the path to the exit. He gestures to Venti with a nod, signaling him to leave while he allows it.
"I have my reasons."
Entertained by the fact that he didn't need to be forcibly kicked out, the bard chuckles to himself before making a swift departure, leaving his parting words to resonate in the air.
"Hehe, fair enough. But if you do wish to learn more about them, heed my advice. Fools seeking aid from those with selfish desires rarely find anything good in return."

As waves gently caress the shore, a symphony of memories, both ancient and recent, courses through them. The gentle cadence of the sea does not drown out the melody hummed by the young man standing in the water. Unfazed by the sea reaching his knees or the cool night breeze, he stands with eyes open but vacant, bathed in the ethereal glow of the moonlight.
With utmost care, he places on the water's surface a leaf-crafted vessel bearing a delicate arrangement of flowers, a tribute to his sister. As the final notes of his haunting melody linger in the night, a lament of anguish and sorrow, he releases the makeshift boat to be carried away by the current.
Soft tears flow down his face as his voice gently wanes. Upon arriving for the first time at this shore with a solemn vow to reunite with his sister, his ignorance veiled his eyes. Admidst the new sights this world had to offer, a strange familiarity embraced him. As the wind tousled his hair down to the way the soil felt beneath his feet, it was as if he had returned home.
He reflects on his past as a soldier, an obedient one who never questioned orders, devoid of a sense of morality, discerning neither good nor bad. He was merely following commands.
He recalls about her once gentle nature, a soul averse to causing harm, adorning herself not for personal satisfaction but for others' admiration. Her explanations of right and wrong were delivered calmly, never raising her voice.
They both changed so much, left with nothing but themselves and memories to nurture. Their relationship was at the time a delicate balance, with even the smallest mistakes sparking intense fights.
With time, she developed a stronger personality, becoming more reserved and secretive. He, however, found a way to articulate his feelings, expressing himself in ways he couldn't comprehend before. She loved to tease his newfound soft side.
But someone had robbed him of that. When he encountered her again at the end of his journey, he realized he was too late. In their final meeting, although her body was still breathing, there was no soul inhabiting it, no mind radiated from her mortal shell.
As she was no longer herself, he had no option but to end her suffering.
"Well, it's not often i get to meet with you alone. Where is that little fairy friend of yours ?"
As he feels tender hands cupping his face, a smile graces his features, whispering your name. To him, it has been too long since the last time you two shared such a peaceful moment. The infrequency of your meetings only heightens the value he places on them.
"Paimon is currently receiving care from the sisters of Mondstadt's cathedral. She got quite injured during our latest adventure. As for why i am here, I needed some time alone to bid a proper farewell."
He opens his eyes, savoring the sight of yours. Their intricate hues bear untold secrets that he longs to unravel. The patterns on your skin accentuate the natural bioluminescence of your body, preserving tales from times long past. Gently, he raises his calloused hand to your own, relishing in the comfort. As he senses your delicate fingers wiping away the tears from his face, more flows out.
"I'm sorry for your loss."
As his guide, he understands the price to pay for the honor bestowed upon him. Deep down, he understands the strength and knowledge you provided were for your own survival. The love he receives depends on the satisfaction he brings to you. He doesn't care if you use him as a vulgar puppet, as long as he remains by your side. He can't lose you, not you too.
"My sister liked to say that home is wherever we are together. Since we were all that were left of our home, i guess it was true."
His voice is parched and laden with sorrow as he clings to you like he would for a lifeline.
"She was the one determined to find somewhere for us to settle. But everywhere we went, troubles came. Either we had to flee or we were chased away. Times were hard, but at least we had each other. She was the only one I could rely on."
"But times have changed; you don't have to flee anymore, you don't have to follow orders, you don't have to live in her shadow. You can listen to your heart's desires."
In the silent exchange of glances, Aether notices the profound emptiness in your eyes, a void untouched by the shared sadness or comfort he seeks. The weight of realization descends upon him, as denial attempts to cloak the newfound awareness. The touch that he craved for earlier radiated no warmth. A sense of betrayal settles over him, sending chills coursing through his body.
"... you knew."
With the guilt slowly making itself evident on your face, he pushes your hands away from his. Stumbling on his feet, the world around him spins as if he has just awakened from a profound dream. The thought of you betraying his trust unsettled him. After all, the bond you shared wasn't a trivial pinky promise but a deep connection where he lived for you, and you for him.
"... you knew it would happen... you knew and yet... you did nothing ?"
He retreats slowly toward the shore, and as you follow, your hands gently signal him to calm down, much like one would soothe a frightened animal.
"It was already too late the day i saved you from that shade."
His heart aches as your words sink in. Closing the distance between the both of you, Aether decides to listen. He allows you to take his hands in yours, feeling the squeeze accompanied by a sudden cold. It's a familiar chill that he's come to associate with your moments of sadness.
"Then why did you save me ? Why didn't you save her ? Why. Me."
You guide him gently to the dry sand, ensuring his gaze follows your movements. As you start drawing shapes on the ground, they soon come to life in a light green hue, dancing around both of you. Aether recognizes himself in one of them and reaches out to touch it. Luminescent particles spread apart at his sudden movement, only to reform elsewhere near them. The scene changes, depicting the fateful day he lost Lumine.
"... you were both destined to die. I chose you because you reminded me of my old self."
He witnesses the divine being capturing his sister only to target him next. Aether perks up by the appearance of another shape. He observes how you protect him from the deity before the scene changes once more. Nostalgia fills him as he watches you forge the bond between the two of you. A soft laugh escapes him at the sight of Paimon being fished out, breathing life into your dynamic.
"You were quite stupid and ignorant."
Beads of sweat flow down his face as the shapes replays some of his past mistakes. In an attempt to avoid further embarrassment, he raises his hand to dispel the particles. You intervene by gently seizing his hand and guiding it to his heart.
"Yet, I could sense your determination to protect what you hold dear."
His ethereal counterpart proudly raises his blade against the final obstacle in his journey. It appears fearless, prepared to confront what he believed would be its greatest foe. However, that confidence crumbles when the monstrous shape morphs into the likeness of his sister. He observes as his particle self thrusts its sword through her, taking her life. As the particles slowly disperse, he meets your gaze, bitterness filling his throat.
"If I were to apologize for all the secrets i kept from you, that would be a lie. For all I did was solely to protect you."
You embrace the boy one final time before fading away. Aether's arms linger in the air before he wraps them around himself, trembling slightly. Shivers run down his spine as he comprehends what you've left behind. He gingerly picks up the small gemstone on the sand and clenches his fist. Anger wells up within him as he gazes at the cracked little starshaped orb, a symbol of your shattered bond.
You abandoned him.

"Ugh, are you done yet ? Witnessing your sickening sweetness with him is making me nauseous."
Upon opening your eyes, you sense cramps crawling through your body, as if emerging from a deep coma. You snatch the helmet-like device off your skull and shove it away. The man attending to you utters an annoyed "watch it" in response.
"Deal with it."
The man assists you in exiting the machinery, disconnecting various tubes and electronics that monitored your health and body state. He grunts upon witnessing your attempt to straighten up quickly, and he gently compels you to lay back. Muttering additional curses, he likely expresses irritation at your impulsive actions, fully aware of the associated risks.
"Do you really need to go to such lengths? First, you toyed with his memories, and technically, you're the reason why he lost his dear 'sister.' And now, after all the efforts you put into him, you're just giving up ?"
You forcefully pull his hands away from your body and swiftly rise to your feet. Letting out a grunt, you massage your temples as a headache begins to intensify. Moving slowly, you skip a few steps, struggling to stand on your own but determined to reach a proper bed for some rest.
"I know what i have to do and i don't need your concern."
Depriving you of the chance to take another step on your own, the man hoists you onto his shoulder and carries you like a sack of potatoes. With no strength left, you acquiesce, but in silence, you mentally note to make him pay for this humiliation.
"Ugh, guides. I would never understand your kind."
You snarl and swiftly retort to his remark, delivering a quick hit to his hips.
"I am nothing like them."
The man appears unfazed by your punch, softly placing you on a very comfortable bed. He sighs at your angry gaze and flicks your forehead. It perplexes him how careless you can be when it comes to taking care of yourself, yet how gentle you are when it comes to your vessels.
"And yet, here you are, acting like one."
"And yet, here you are, taking care of me."
You lock eyes with the man, urging him to look away, but he continues to relish the moment. He neatly folds the cozy blanket atop you and tenderly traces the features of your face with his fingers. Despite his harsh and unyielding tone, his facial expression reveals another narrative, one where he could have been more sincere about his feelings.
"We just have a common enemy, nothing more."
Frustrated by his contradictory tenderness and attitude, you opt to usher him out.
"You never know when to shut your mouth do you ? I wonder where you got that."
The man scoffs and exits the room, clearly offended by your words. Finally relishing a peaceful moment, you close your eyes and envision the starry sky you've come to know by heart, one you hold dear, even if it's a mere fabrication. You identify a few constellations and recollect which ones align with your favorites.
After spending countless years in these lands, your meticulous preparations are on the verge of paying off. All the accumulated resources, weapons, and artifacts are about to prove their worth. Finally, you'll have the opportunity to engage in a game that truly fulfills your desires. One marked by chaos and unforeseeable events, where rules are broken and laws cease to matter.
Anticipation builds as you look forward to witnessing the expressions of newcomers when things deviate from their expectations, struggling to survive in a world they believed they knew.
It's going to be a gameboard where, finally, you hold the advantage.
Doesn't it sound fun ?

—YOU WARNED HIM. You warned him again and again. You warned your father the moment he got himself involved with his demise, you warned him again when he went ahead to challenge that woman and you pleaded for him to stop, to withdraw the bet throughout the whole carriage ride to the casino. But alas, all of which went through deaf ears.
If your father could gather at least a fraction of self control, then maybe you wouldn't have to be here, wouldn't have to be in this situation ; sat right beside the perpetrator of your sudden misfortune and watching as your father loses, a process so painfully slow.
All covet, all lost. There's a reason behind said proverb. Greed brings but loss. Something that starts slow, agonizingly roots itself on a person's being and they don't notice or rather, choose not to, until it's too late. Greed, has destroyed hundreds—no, thousands of humans ; but never did you ever expect your father to become one of them.
“Heh, Lord [L/N]. Luck doesn't seem to be on your side—do you still wish to go on with this game? I mean, the winner has already been decided.” she chortles. You snuck a glance at her fair visage and that infuriating smirk upon her painted lips almost made you want to snap. She was all laid back, sipping wine as if this was nothing more than a round of family board games. Your dearest father contrasting with the biggest frown you'd ever seen, posture rigid and a hand to his chin.
Your breath almost hitches when she glanced back at you and that smirk widened further upon noticing your extremely ticked off expression. Realizing you were caught staring, you whip your head away—which was a bad decision you realize afterward, because you can just sense her growing amusement.
Breath, breath [Y/N].
The moment until last night, you were quietly living your oblivious and frankly mundane life. The life of a noble lady in Liyue was not that interesting, if you were to be honest. You were mostly expected to have a perfect posture and keep an eye on the way you behave in public. Other than the occasional strictness, it was just a tranquil life under luxury.
But right now, as your grip on your robes —the ones she gave—tightened under the table and as you were minutes away from being sold out, you wanted nothing more than that boring life back.
Last night was already dreadful enough when your father approached with a grim expression and informed you of his grand debt. But he immediately added the bet he agreed upon to a woman, a small flicker of hope creeped in your shook heart only to be tarnished mercilessly when he revealed the stake of said bet: you.
You felt a myriad of emotions in that small conversation but most of all, you felt betrayed. You tried to convince him to not do this but a contract was a contract and never has a contract been broken in Liyue.
Loosening your grip on the fine silks, the intricate designs caught your gaze for the first time that morning. If this had been a different scenario, then maybe you would've given time to admire the woman's tastes. But as you recalled the ever increasing dread that crept up your soul just a few hours ago ; just after you woke up from a night with no pleasant dreams and an obviously nervous servant came in with a woven basket full of fine silks, silks that that woman you'd yet to meet had sent. Amplifying your fury all the more came in the small, hand written note in it, I can't take my prize home in rags, now can I?
(Which was still nothing compared to how your heart shattered when you confronted your father about it and he merely dismissed you with something along the lines of how she would be pleased if you wore them, and perhaps she'd show mercy.)
You tried your best to think of what you did to attract the attention of one of the most influential (and dangerous) figures in Liyue. Yelan, came her short introduction when you stepped foot into the establishment. The name sounded oddly familiar but why, you couldn't remember no matter what.
You hopelessly glance at your father. All his remaining hair had whitened over the course of just one night and sleep bid him farewell the moment Yelan made herself known and graciously reminded him of all his due debts — all of which came from that one damned addiction : gambling.
He recalled his throat running dry and the feeling as if his soul had slowly left his body when the blue eyed female presented the long scroll that accounted all that he owed. There were records of misappropriation from the Qixing's funds which would no doubt earn him at least a decade of jail. The rest, he'd rather not look for he might've just fainted there and then.
(But Yelan, as kind as ever, presented a deal, or rather, a bet as a last chance for your father to redeem himself. Mired in greed and deceptions, he failed to see the ominous smile on the female's face upon his agreement.)
You took a hard look at your father's face, then to the game where your brows creased and then to the blue eyed female. After a small mental debate you decided to speak up, “Please, stop this. I beg of you. Give us one more day, I promise all the debt will be cleared.”
She slowly shifted her whole attention to you and it could've been the illusion of your sleep deprived eyes, but her face softened in the slightest. You had a small flicker of hope but didn't let it consume you whole. Her gloved hand reached out to caress your face, then to smoothen the curve of your brow ; all of her touches leaving a burn in its wake. You didn't dare move.
Then, shattering everything, she cooed in the most patronizing way, “Aww, look at you. If you continue to be so cute, I might just take you right here and now,” you blinked. You felt a small ache in your heart, did she just toy with your feelings?
Leaning closer to you ear, she continued, “Oh, save the begging for later.” her hot breath fanned against your face, making you flinch. You felt blood rush to your face, from anger or from embarrassment, you didn't want to know — a sight the jade eyed female revelled in.
A cough from your father across the table as if reminding of his presence, made the female finally lean back, albeit smugly. You turned your head to the side in distress, trying to calm your picked up heartbeat. That's when you decided, you couldn't be near that woman, not at all. She was too dangerous.
They continued with the petty game on the other hand, it seemed like the winner would be announced any moment now but your father wouldn't budge. He still clung to that ruse ; after all, if he could even cut it close, all his debts would be withdrawn. He'd come too far, might as well go all out, no?
In his clouded judgment and vision, he might've not fully understood the weight of this deal. It kept echoing back in his mind, if he won, all his debts would be withdrawn and he could go back to fixing things and perhaps, pick up this hobby once more — but with more caution.
As if an opportunity presented by Rex Lapis himself, he finally found an opening. He could already picture Yelan's defeated face as he would triumph, victory was just a second away.
But there was something more, at the last moments ; something clicked in his head. That's right, he was up against Yelan. A notorious member of the ministry of civil affairs as well as a fearsome name in the gambling world.
No, that's not right. His brows furrow. Something was not right at all. Winning a game against Yelan should never be that easy. He still recalled the saying of one of his gambling buddies, they were a victim themselves and came to warn him like a good friend. And in this situation, those same words rung like funeral bells in his mind right after the blue eyed female exclaimed—
“Checkmate,”
Yelan, never loses a game.
You think you heard thunder crackling but that would be strange considering how clear the sky was this morning. But perhaps, that might not be so far from reality as the unfortunate inevitable had finally taken shape. Your father lost, Yelan won. You realize thunder did crackle, as said female pulls you flush against her while staring ahead to your father ; and him, having finally realized what he just did. Thunder crackled in your heart, in your mind and it tore all your hope like thunder tears through clouds.
“Well then, that settles it. I'll be keeping your debts concealed but [Y/N], will be going with me, as promised~” panic flooded through your father as he hurriedly tried to reach out to you, but Yelan was quicker. Before your father even had the chance to turn, she'd already hoisted you up on her shoulder and just like how she'd entered your once ordinary life, she was gone.
Sudden, swift, without a trace.
“You didn't tell me you were taking me to the Jade Chamber,” you exclaimed in disbelief when she finally put you down on the floating chamber's floor.
“There was no need to, kitten” she replied nonchalantly, lips curving into that annoying smile. You crossed your arms in front of you, a small act of defiance. How cute.
“Well then, now what? Do you intend to lock me up in the Tianquan's quarters or something?” you said half jokingly but Yelan did not respond instead motioned for you to follow her. You huff, begrudgingly following her trail despite there being no need to.
The walk was silent. Yelan curiously glanced back towards you, you had your attention set to the floor—something that should be uncharacteristic of someone that'd stepped foot in the Jade Chamber for the first time in their life. Someone unfamiliar to all this would more likely be amazed by the interior, marvelling at everything but you... Yelan knew there was something else, she just needed confirmation.
Yelan led you to an all familiar door, she didn't even bother knocking and casually barged in.
“It's rude to enter without knocking,” a refined voice announced in disapproval earning but a shrug from Yelan. You tried peaking from behind her only for said woman to completely move out of the way, leaving you exposed to a pair of ruby eyes.
Her eyes widened a little but vanished just as quickly, “Got the job done, I see.” the Tianquan commented, pleased.
“Did you expect otherwise?” the blue eyed female shot back to which the other female chuckled.
The events that had transpired from last night to this, nothing ceased to both surprise and confuse you. First, your father revealing that he was on the verge of bankruptcy then some woman ‘winning you’ through a bet while your father pathetically lost and now whatever this was.
“Ningguang...? What..?”
Ningguang's attention was brought back to you. Her eyes first drunk in your entire form, it had been such a long time. She stood up from her desk and made her way to you, “I know you have many questions. Why don't you sit down? I'll answer them one by one.” she gently guided you to a seat, you glanced back at Yelan who seemed to have found interest in her nails.
You turned around just in time for Ningguang to put a porcelain cup in front of you. You recognized that set as well as the colour, but the excessive smoke from the tea appeared to be strange altogether with the unfamiliar scent. Regardless, the tea was less important now.
“How do I begin...your father had accounted massive debts as you already know. That alone was punishable enough, furthermore, I've received intel that he was planning to sell you off to an arranged marriage. I simply couldn't just stand and watch now could I? So...”
You followed her gaze and it fell on Yelan, you got her hint.
“But, Ning...you could've just told me on our last—”
“About that,” Ningguang cut you off mid-sentence, surprising you.
“You...wouldn't if I did.” her eyes trailed off everywhere that wasn't you.
“Huh, why?” you asked back utterly lost. Why on Teyvat would you reject such a proposal? To be free from an unwanted marriage and your father sounded like bliss to you. Ningguang's eyes clouded over, for once those brilliant pair of rubies seemed to have darkened.
Before the Tianquan could reply Yelan spoke up for the first time after entering the office, “I believe I have a reward in due,”
Ningguang quickly regained her composure, you saw the two sharing a gaze ; a message was sent. You looked at Ningguang then to Yelan but when you returned your gaze to the tea, you felt the tea set dance.
You stood up abruptly, something was wrong here, you could feel your gut twisting in discomfort. In your life, your father was not the only one that made wrong decisions, you did, too. You realized bolting towards the entrance was just the worst of them as it only hurled you towards the blue eyed female's embrace.
Her grip was strong and it promised bad things. Your feeble squirming was futile as it only accelerated your draining energy.
“Tsk tsk, leaving already?” you think it was Yelan's voice. You were so close to her, you could pick up her scent with ease ; silk flowers and something else you didn't know how to describe in that hazy state of mind.
Wait, why am I breathing so fast?
Ningguang's heals clicked on the floor, the sound a bit too loud. She moved a stray lock from obscuring your vision, which was blurring ever so slightly. Even through your unstable vision and erratic breaths, you could perfectly make out the emotions laying within those bright pools of crimson.
It clicked in your mind the last second, the unsaid words of Ningguang and the so called reward of Yelan. If the Tianquan called for you, you'd be there in a heartbeat. But a person favours their freedom more than adoration, you at least. Though your senses were nothing but a miscellany of blue, red and the scent of silk flowers ; you managed to capture their eyes, and the meaningful shine before all went dark.
Because, you won't be leaving from now.

More yandere ideas:
Rich yandere(pantalone, ningguang, ayato and diluc) x workaholic darling, rich yandere really just wants to pamper darling and take care of them for the rest of their lives, making sure they don't have to lift a finger. Meanwhile darling really loves working, they live for working, their entire lives revolve around doing things for other people and can't handle the idea of someone trying to do things for them, rich yanderes like ningguang and diluc might just settle for paying all of darlings expenses and helping them out with their work making sure they don't get sick or overwork themselves, but rich yanderes like ayato and pantalone would absolutely not allow that. Ayato probably won't kidnap you at first but he'd probably make sure you'd get fired and no on would hire you, if you decide to leave inazuma for work he'd definitely kidnap you and hide you in the kamisato estate, never to be seen again. Out of all four of them pantalone would definitely be the most dangerous, I fully believe that he would drug you to the point of paralyzation if you refused to come with him, if your so instant on working all the time then why doesn't he just take away your ability to work?
Yandere sagau idea where the reader is the Creators granddaughter. The great and might creator is seen as someone unattainable, so perfect and better then everyone else. So you can imagine the suprise when the creator falls in love with human and had a child, their child immediately becomes a god and is seen just as unattainable as the creator, but when the child of the creator gives birth to a granddaughter people immediately assumes that she will be as high and mighty as the latter, except she isn't the girl was a human she was weak she was fragile, she didn't have any powers like her mom and grandmother. It was then that people decided she was obtainable, when she turns sixteen you can't imagine the amount of courting gifts she got, unfortunately the granddaughter really isn't interested in love so she kindly rejects them. Eventually that gets people angry so they force her to have them, people go all out just to wisk her away to a "date" where they spend the entire time profoundly expressing their love, maybe drugging them so the granddaughter can't run away.
Platonic yandere Childe x lumine&and aether younger sibling reader, imagine after the unknown god attacked you and your older siblings you wake up in snezhneya, worried because of the neverending cold you quickly try to find shelter, losing more and more of your strength before finally collapsing on the snow. About an hour later Childe finds you on the ground, flabbergasted by your almost blue face and very young appearance he quickly brings you to his family to get you warmed up, let's say when you wake up your surprised when your in someone's house, it's there that you see one of childe's siblings who quickly calls Childe. Because of your child like appearance your very used to be talking to you as if your a child but this guy talked to you as if your a helpless infant toddler that didn't know anything, it was infuriating to you since your pretty much older then his great grandpa. Though at the moment it was your best bet to find your siblings so you cooperated with him. He pretended to play along with your concern and promised to help you, but when you turned to leave he didn't let you saying that since your so young you can't protect yourself. When he went to liyue he made sure his parents kept you confined to the house, he did end up meeting your sibling and befriended them, your siblings asked where you were and he pretended not to know you, he led your sibling farther and farther away from you.(sorry I got very board writing this one)
Yandere cyno x rukkhadevata reincarnation reader. There's a theory that cyno is the reincarnation of the priest that was loyal to the greater lord and I'll play of this. Imagine cyno gets all of his memories from his past life and remembers rukkhadevata and has great regrets that he wasn't able to protect her, so when he meets you her obvious reincarnation he makes sure he doesn't repeat the mistakes of the past. Your confused when some random person you've never met suddenly kidnapped you and brought you to the nicest looking prison ever. At first you absolutely refuse to eat anything but quickly change that when he forces food down your mouth, every time you refuse to sleep on the silk bed made just for you he ties you to it and blindfolds you so you'll eventually fall asleep, the moment you take a single step out of the house, your immediately brought back inside. Cyno would rather die them ever hurt you, he'd never punish you for anything you've done but if someone else even put the slightest of scratches on you they would suffer indescribable hell.

Ooh, interesting! Lemme see what I can do about this idea. Please remember to send requests via mailbox!
Headcanons: Jean, Lisa, Ninguang, and Ganyu Reacting to Reader Being a Veteran Military Soldier
You were calmly sipping tea and having snacks, relaxing with the character at your palace, talking about random conversations that come and go over the time.
This brought the conversation where you mention your experiences of being apart of the Military for a while before retiring due to the many scars you had over several many combat incidents.
This is how they'll react.
(Disclaimers: Mentions of Scars, Implied Violence/Battles, Might Be OOC!)
Jean
To hear that the Almighty Creator has been through so many battle experience and gaining so many scars, she wished she could've been there to assist you.
She is very much curious as what you've been through, but she doesn't push—she simply wants to make sure you are okay before diving into that topic.
"Your Grace, are you alright? Are your scars hurting you in any way?" She wants to make sure you aren't in any pain of sorts, and will fuss over you and get Barbara to check on you before you somehow find a way to reject this help.
Consider it her way of paying you back for letting her enjoy a cup of tea with you and a good conversation to know you better.
Lisa
Lisa, my oh my...This librarian will be ever so curious on your past battle experiences during this tea session, now that you mentioned it. Of course—she won't push you to explain. She doesn't want to make you upset, nor be struck down for giving the Almighty Creator trauma flashbacks of any sorts.
"Your Grace, if you allow me to indulge myself, may I ask of what kind of battle experiences you've been through? Feel free, of course, to continue to a different topic if I ever seem to be pushing any boundaries." Lisa is a good listener, she'll hear you out, word for word.
And, of course, she sticks to her word. If her questions ever seem to be too much, switch the subject and Lisa will hop onto the new one! After all, your tea is ever so lovely~
Ningguang
First of all, the fact that the Creator is inviting her to have tea and enjoy conversation with them in the first place? She already feels spoiled.
This is probably even better than becoming Tianquan or building her Jade Chamber/Palace.
Ningguang is rather surprised to hear that you've been to battle before. She'll be even more surprised once she digests the information that you've been to several battles. And gained battle scars through those experiences.
Of course, her face doesn't show any of this, but she's pretty impressed and awed. She's trying to imagine it: The Almighty Creator, fighting the front lines, destroying the enemies that dare to face them, etc.
"Your Grace, if I be bold to ask, but what kind of battles have you been in?" As she listens to you talk about some of your battle experience, Ningguang can now understand why people gawk at her and the Jade Chamber as/once they listen to the stories regarding it. Your stories, were very captivating and fed all sorts of scenarios in her imagination.
If you grant her the permission, Ningguang will personally start having storytellers tell the tales of the fierce and Almighty Creator facing threats in battle, for all of Liyue to gain a even deeper respect for you.
Ganyu
To be even in the presence of the Almighty Creator, she already feels super blessed. To hear that the creator has been through battles? Ganyu couldn't help but worry.
She knew that some scars, whether mental or physical, could case pain. So, naturally, she has to ask whether if you're okay or not.
"Uhm, Your Grace, forgive my intrusion, but are your scars harming you in any way?" As a veteran of the Archon War, she knows a thing or two about how people hide their scars, playing off their pain as if it were just an annoying pest. Ganyu wants to make sure you're okay and at top, peak condition!
Teyvat has already lost its Almighty Creator once, and she refuses to see you in pain after your re-descension!
Be prepared to take this task very seriously, because boy, if you are facing anything she finds unhealthy, you are being coaxed and voluntold into therapy.
And that's it! I hope you all liked these headcanons :) See you around next time!

what paperwork would SAGAU reader do in their free time? is it just mailing letters to loyal followers or more serious things like government affairs?
SAGAU CONCEPT: PAPERWORK AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS
Tumblr media
❀ synopsis: even gods have to do paperwork.
❀ notes: I am winging it (meaning I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing but I'm gonna do it anyway), and I just made it to Liyue too so I'll be having a lot of fun with this. This is Liyue centered btw :]
Tumblr media
Well, for starters yes there will be the occasional letter that one of your acolytes has sneaked into your pile of documents. But it would take days until you notice the letter due to how high the papers are stacked.
Anyways, most of the time it is serious. Sagau darling is usually written to have an abode on Liyue and I like to think it's because that's where most of their work is related to. Due to the fact that Rex Lapis has recently been "assassinated" and during the Rite of Descension he would give advice on how to handle the trade of the coming year.
Well, since they can't get any predictions from the Geo Archon anymore they would always request for sagau darlings' presence to help them manage the trading system, to the point darling just decided "Fuck it, I'll be putting my focus on Liyue now". So now sagau darling is just there managing governmental projects and attending diplomatic meetings to discuss Liyue's finances.
Sagau darling still has to travel across different nations too since there is also Monstadt which doesn't have an active archon. But they are better at managing themselves since it's been like that for a long time. Still, you have to occasionally check up on them.
Back to Liyue, when I say governmental projects it can scale to "Wait, this is actually work" to a "I just want to have a talk with the person who made this idea". Most of the time it's the latter. Sometimes you want to bash your head onto your study table when you read the ideas. No your not signing the permit, and no your not going to allow the idiots to try and demolish a domain to replace it with a factory.
Zhongli feels guilty to see how stressed you are with managing his nation and even suggested taking the mantle as Geo Archon again if it means you will be pleased. You tiredly assure him that there is no need (because you don't want to fuck up the storyline even more) and that it's only natural for you to take care of all of Teyvat.
Meetings are usually centered around trading and finance managing, but they would also be about how you will handle the Fatui and the Treasure hoarders. You have to be very careful with what you say about the Fatui because while most people will trust your word, some won't be too kind about it and will accuse you of putting the citizens in danger. Treasure hoarders will still be treated as criminals but you get to decide their punishment.
Ningguang helps you with whatever business you might be starting. She will even help you lessen your workload and would shut down any sort of rumor connected to you. If you need some time off she will set a schedule for you to help manage your time properly.
Xiao and Ganyu don't know how to help you in this situation, well, maybe Ganyu knows what to do and might even lend you a helping hand. But what the two do know is crowd control. With you being a very famous figure (you are GOD in this world) people will be chasing after you, begging for good fortune and true love. There would be offerings handed to you in person as they say their wishes. And there is some who just want to ask confirmation if a certain rumor is true.
In that case, the two will do their best to guard you. Xiao will be harsher than Ganyu who is trying to be formal in reminding the people that you want to have space. He will push, and even threaten them with his polearm that he will consider their invasion of privacy an active threat to his grace. And that he won't hesitate to follow through with the regulation if they continue to bother you.
But that's about it, I really have nothing to say other than you're very stressed and might have grown white hairs with how much work you have. You can send more ask about this idea but just to let you know I'm not a government worker (yet) and my ideas are probably wrong.
Imagine mixing the time dilation concept with this omg poor reader-

˗ˏˋ꒰ 🍒 ꒱ evil, i've come to tell you that she's evil.
most definitely. evil, ornery, scandalous and evil, most definitely.
yandere! various! genshin impact women. (Because I don't give them enough love <33)
Tumblr media
People whispered about a strange but striking adepti that suddenly appeared to roam the streets of Liyue Harbor, always dining on the most expensive and luxurious food but never finishing them, opting only to have but a single bite and leave the restaurant entirely, much to the chagrin to the people around her. Feeling brave you decided to approach the random stranger one day and without much of a hastle you accepted her with open arms and a happy smile, something that she found quite strange.
The beginning of the friendship was bumpy, and that was an understatement. Shenhe as you came to know her, had quite the temperament and thought that you were someone who was out to harm her at first. She threatened you but you managed to convince her that you were indeed harmless and that your intentions were pure.
To your surprise Shenhe was not an adeptus but a human. With her monstrous strength and cool attitude no one could be blamed for mistaking her for one but that made her more charming in your eyes. You'd praise her beauty and she would stare at you in confusion, wondering why you were saying such nonsense... Not that she minded though, she never once asked you to truly stop. You would meet her somewhere deep in the mountains, hidden far away from any prying eyes with warm food in your little wooden basket as Shenhe would wait for you beneath the moonlight, the forest leaves that hung on the tall trees being her only real cover. Hours would pass and the two of you would talk even if it was mostly you though. And then, you would leave, the crack of dawn signaling that it was time to head back to the city. You had duties and obligations to perform and you'd give your new friend a quick kiss on the cheek, a not so subtle attempt to get her used to the touch of other human beings.
Night would fall once more and she would stare into her reflection upon a nearby pond, the fond memory of your sweet kiss still happily replaying in her mind. Her heart was positively pounding at the mere thought of simply seeing you, let alone being able to spend with you. Shenhe however learned that if you love someone you must keep them close unless other people start getting funny ideas. She did read a few love stories in her free time and decided the best course of action would be to bring you with her. She could make you happy, she knew she could.
It was going to be just the two of you and she wouldn't want it any other way.
Tumblr media
Golden embroidery and fine silk covered your body head to toe as you remained still in your place, the lingering touch of Ningguang's warm hand gently guiding you how to properly put on the incredibly expensive brooch as she carefully examined you, her heavy gaze never once leaving your body.
It was strange how someone like Ningguang would spend her precious time on someone as plain and unimpressive as yourself. There were times when Lady Ningguang would humbly request that you accompany her to some obscure destination, be it the nearby market or a hidden passage where only Teyvat's finest would meet to discuss about business and mora. You were often left dazed and confused, what were you supposed to be even doing at these events anyway? You'd always blush at the rumors about you being Ningguang's lover and she would simply laugh it off, never once actually even trying to stop the claims, as you oh so carefully noticed.
"Be by my side, that's all the support I need." she would say, he voice soft as silk, sweet like honey. The golden jewelry she wore would lightly prick your skin as she retracted her hand, her head turned to the opposite direction but her body still too close for comfort.
Everyone did always say that Lady Ningguang did have a keen eye for the finest things in life but you were often left trembling of the possibility that she might just take you as her own personal treasure instead.
Tumblr media
"She gives me the creeps... AH!"
Thoma suddenly shouted in your ear as he let go of your hand with Yae Miko standing right behind him, a devious smirk on her pink lips as she did her best to contain her amused laughter.
The Kamisato housekeeper invited you to join him for a walk and a meal on this fine afternoon and since you had nothing better to do you accepted his gracious request. Thoma seemed to be on edge the entire time though, always looking behind his shoulder and never telling you why he was doing so. At first you ignored him, simply assuming that he was expecting someone to prank him or something similar of that nature but as the day went by your uneasiness grew and grew because the Thoma you knew was never this jumpy. With a stern glare from you Thoma decided to throw subtlety out the window and went straight to the point - he was highly uncomfortable with how much time you were spending with Yae Miko and just how possessive the head shrine maiden was with you.
She would monopolize all of your time, never allowing you contact with other human beings which was not healthy. Thoma saw how badly you wanted to be with other people but with Miko always hovering over you there was little to be done. He begged and pleaded, please put some distance between the two of you, at least for an hour. The shrine maiden caught onto the housekeeper's plans and decided to put them to rest as soon as possible.
There was no room for protest as Yae latched her hand to your own, telling you something how Thoma was just being silly and why were you out here anyway, don't you know that you didn't finish your duties yet?
Perhaps at least listening to him couldn't be so bad...
... right?

Title: Hanging Piece.
Pairing: Yandere!Ningguang x Reader x Yandere!Beidou (Genshin).
Word Count: 0.9k.
TW: Implied Imprisonment, Dehumanization, Mentions of Sexual/Emotional Abuse, and Implied Non/Con By Proxy.
Tumblr media
“Pretty little thing you got there. How much did it run you?”
You shifted on the edge of Ningguang’s lap, doing what you could to make yourself smaller, less visible. It was a futile effort, obviously. From where Beidou was seated on the opposite side of Ningguang’s elaborate chess table, less than a full arm’s length away from you, she was free to scan over you, to let her remaining eye bore into your skin as she slowly evaluated the merits of her Ninggaung’s newest luxury, from your silk robe to the golden chains strung around your wrists and ankles to the way you were being held – closely, but not tightly, already trained not to mistake a slack leash for one that didn’t exist at all. Already taught what would happen if you mistook her gentleness for an unwillingness to enforce her overbearing rules.
Ningguang hummed, by way of response. She made a show of her preoccupation, her fingers skirting over the hand-sculpted chess pieces laid out in front of her as she pretended to consider her next move. You’d been with her long enough to recognize the way her lips quirked upward, to catch the silver-lined glint in her eyes that seemed to darken as she drank in Beidou’s playful envy. Usually, she tried to keep you away from those who might share her fixation, but today, she'd made an exception for her sometimes friend, most times rival. What end she was working towards, you couldn’t say, but you were thankful she seemed so set on it. You were thankful for anything that released you from her chambers, even it meant she only wanted to flaunt you in front of one of her many, many adversaries.
Eventually, she selected a pawn, but her gaze fell away from the board and onto you before she could finalize her decision. “Only my love and care, although I won't deny its value. I'm not expected to adorn myself with anything but the finest gems, after all,” And then, after a short pause. “Now, what do we say when someone pays us a compliment?”
You hesitated, but not for very long. Bowing your head and stringing your arms around her neck, you buried your face in the dip of her shoulder, doing your best to remain properly respectful without seeming too excited to speak to anyone else, anyone she might see as a threat. “…thank you, Captain.”
That earned a deep laugh, a cheek propped up on a curled fist as Beidou leaned forward. Unlike Ningguang, she didn’t deliberate over her course of action, choosing her piece in the time it took for her hand to reach the board. You didn’t know anything about chess, but Ninggaung’s easy smile faltered, and you chose to believe it wasn’t only because of Beidou’s brazenness. “You know a fine gem, but you clearly don’t know how to treat one. I mean, if it were me, I’d skip the clothes and jewelry altogether. A diamond shines a lot brighter when it’s stripped bare.” You stiffened, but if Beidou was concerned, she didn’t stop. She seemed to lean forward, if anything, to soften her tone into something more coaxing, but no less unwanted. “I’m not trying to suggest anything, but I'm set to leave port next week, and there is an open spot on my ship. It’d be a shame to pass up such a golden opportunity to fill the vacancy, if you think they’re up for a little travel.”
You held your breath, waiting for Ningguang to narrow her eyes, to dig her nails into your side and order you back to her bed. You knew there wouldn’t be an outburst, Ningguang would never wear her anger so visibly, but you could already hear her sharpened tone, picture her cutting stare, imagine how she’d make you regret garnering the attention she’d put you on display to attract. In less than a moment, you were able to convince yourself that her punishment wouldn’t be so delayed – that she’d just shove you to the floor now and let you kiss her thighs and beg for her forgiveness until your throat went hoarse, until her guest was well-assured of where your loyalties had been forced to lie. You clenched your eyes shut, bracing for Ningguang’s sneer, her disciplined outrage, her…
Her laugh, airy and distant, as if nothing in the world was wrong. Involuntarily, you melted further into her, but there was no need. With little more than a palm pressed into the base of your spine, she replied, her voice completely void of any trace of hostility. “I suppose it would be rather selfish of me to deny you outright, especially after you’ve been so flattering. And I seem to remember someone complaining about how greedy I've been recently, isn't that right, dear?” You tried to shake your head, to silently plead with her to stop, to think this over, but she didn’t pay you any mind, only humming as she drew small, shallow circles into your lower back. “I wouldn’t be opposed to adding a few new stakes to our game. If, by some miracle, you win out next match, I could be convinced to let my prized jewel temporality leave my collection.” There was a slight pause, a tap of curved nails against your hip. “As long as I’m told exactly how you intend to polish it, of course.”
“Never took you for that much of a voyeur. You don’t have anything to worry about, though.” You could hear Beidou’s smile, even if you were too much of a cowered to look.
“I intend to take very good care of your precious little gem.”

|| YANDERE GENSHIN IMPACT [ COLLEGE AU ] [ PART FOUR / FOUR ]
"Why must there exist a world where suffering is the norm ? Why must there be a high possibility of losing your loved ones by the hands of others ?"
"Stay with me, my beloved, as we continue our routines together, forever.. And ever.. And ever"
[ Characters mentioned : Venti, Zhong li, Ningguang, Yae Miko, Raiden Ei, Beidou ]
[ Fourth year ]
Venti! He is definitely one memorable student council member, but to be honest, all of them are, he's just another one with a fun personality to light up the mood, perfect for any type of occasion.
However, he keeps talking about wine, it is unbearable, while he still hasn't drank a drop, assuming that fourth year college students are nineteen years old, he has always fantasised drinking one, saying that it must taste like heaven and it is concerning if you look at it as a whole.
On various occasions, he would whine and grip the sleeves on your shirt or your shirt in general if you have no sleeves just to hear you sing, you would think that he will give up, but oh no, you're terribly wrong, the guy is patient, and will use every trick in the book to get his way.
He is very lively, always cracking a joke or singing a song, but ever since like.. A month went by after you had met him his songs and poems took a turn to the romance section as he sang about a lovely individual. It's quite sweet now that you think about it, however some parts were oddly familiar, as if taken inspiration from you.
His hair keeps swaying by the wind as he jokingly calls you his, he loves cracking up a joke or two, so why wouldn't he joke about that? Haha, but it's quite weird, don't you think?
He absolutely adores your expressions when he gives you lots of stuff, it is adorable how your face morphs into shock, then gratitude, makes the whole entire thing even more worth it, and not to mention, he also likes to tutor you, sweet!
Mornings and nights pass, he just couldn't stop thinking about a certain someone, even bold enough to talk about them to that person, but does he mind, why, of course he doesn't, why would he be ever embarrassed for something so natural?
Don't get me wrong, he might be lively and just a ray of sunshine overall, but he is still quite cruel when he wants to be, because why would you ever need them? You've got him, and that is what matters.
[ Fourth year ]
Zhongli.. Now he's an interesting one.
It was already clear from the start that he isn't quite interested in romance, and in the start, you had no idea as to why, that is until you questioned the empty role in the Student Council, Guizhong, the now deceased Historian of the Student Council.
It seems as though there is a barrier that surrounds him that forbids anybody to become that close with him, all the while being an absolute gentleman.
He however, like Jean, isn't always available at any time, of course, he has his own duties as the Adviser, and it is quite a shame, as Venti had dramatically stated.
But that doesn't stop him from trying to at least be more comfortable with you and making you feel welcome, after all, a transfer should always feel welcome in this prestigious college, it would be embarrassing to make you feel unwelcome here, correct?
Though it all turned a bit more personal when you had mentioned the now deceased Historian, and while he didn't mind describing her in such a detail in a positive way, you can't help but feel a little bit guilty for him sharing such a heartbreaking story.
He's such a lonely student, and any interactions, as long as it's not negative, is greatly appreciated, so you tend to stay with him in the Student Council room to keep him from all of those negative thoughts swirling in his mind whenever he's alone, but in doing so you are adding more fuel to the already raging fire which is his obsession.
He offers a lot of tea, always calm and collected as he sits inside the Student Council room to do whatever duties he has, also great with words, it's like he knows everybody in this very school like the back of his hand, his memory is exceptional, definitely something that you wish to have so you wouldn't have to worry about not remembering something when an exam comes up.
Speaking of memory, since his memory is so good he  remembers a lot of every detail that you wish to share about yourself, be it your likes.. Dislikes.. Home address?
Wait no, you didn't share that.
[ Fourth year ]
Mischievous and one of the most unpredictable student there is in this school that you're currently learning in, Yae Miko, while she may be deceptive and cunning, she's also surprisingly similar to Lisa, in a way, afterall, she pretty much calls you terms of endearment.
As swift as a fox, she's quick to steal you away everytime, no matter where you are.
As sly as a fox, you just can't understand her schemes, let alone be able to know that she's using deception, she's just that good, at least the others who use deception were kind enough to make you understand it, but while that's rare, you're kind of getting it, so while you could understand a few of it, it really only lead to more questions.
As stealthy as a fox, she suddenly keeps coming out of places you never thought she'd fit in, you promised yourself that you'll keep an eye out for the colour pink or better yet, Yae Miko herself to avoid getting jump scared by the female, but you just can't see her until it is too late.
Good thing you have Ei to keep her in check.
Yae Miko guilt trips you, a lot. Which surprises you because you didn't know that the pink haired female would resort to such tactics just to spend time with you, but the others have guilt tripped you into staying with them for much longer, so yes, it is suspicious, and you've become more immune to this 'guilt trip [Name] trend'.
You just wish that they will soon stop, you have other matters to deal with, like making sure you don't fail at this one exam coming up.
You sometimes wonder how long Yae Miko is going to keep up with the whole 'friend' thing when it's so obvious that she's only staying with you since she likes you, however you figure that the word 'like' is an understatement.
Sometimes, she even invites you in to help her with giving her ideas for a novel that she's writing, a novel that she told you that she wouldn't publish.
A shame, the writing was good, it was also a romance between a female and a gender neutral individual, however, you're starting to think that they're not just fictional characters from the start..
[ Fourth year ]
Ningguang is as lovely as one can be, she owns various things, she could own somebody, but she chooses not to, that's against her moral code, for she strives to be perfect in various things, similar to how her Jade Chamber was carefully crafted.
She started off small, but with the amount of determination she has she never gave up, she saw herself in you, always willing to give it all for your one and only wish, something that she doesn't know.
She doesn't mind any type of food as long as it gives her an adequate amount of energy and nutrition, so she doesn't mind if you mess up in your little practice, if anything, she'll help you, which is actually helpful by the way, you wonder where she found the time and knowledge.
She is delicate with all of her items, even more so with you, you could only chuckle when she says something like 'i might harm you, i don't want that', because why would she, anyway? You trust her a lot, and she's your friend, right? FriendfriendfriendfriendfriendfriendfriendfriendFRIENDFRIENDFRIEND, you see her as your friend? Why not something more..?
She would always make you brush things off as a mere coincidence that you keep seeing her at malls, often volunteering to pay for the things you buy, sweet!
She loves to spoil you, often bringing you gifts and whatnot, there are a lot of things that you wonder about her, one of those being how she was able to know what you liked.
But she does have connections, you probably forgot that you've mentioned it in one of your conversations with each other.
But how did this start for Ningguang? Why did this start? When did this start, and all of those questions keep appearing in her mind, but she has answers.
You remind her of herself when she was younger, so determined to achieve your goals even when others are.. Less enthusiastic about it.
She's like Diluc in a way, she will do everything in her power, which is a lot, to protect you.
Isn't that sweet?
[ Fourth year ]
Unlike her sister, Ei is an absolute sweetheart, she isn't similar to Scaramouche which is great because a little cool off from her youngest brother was a pain, that arrogant guy who thinks he's greater than a human being kept ordering you around, she basically has Shogun and Scaramouche in a leash when you're around.
She often asks you to stay longer with her than you should, sometimes she makes you forget about the fleeting time until you realise that you have to be home.
It's surprising how she knows a lot about making puppets and whatnot, that is until you realise that The Shogun wasn't a human, she just laughs it off, something that was rare, and stays silent.
She should've been bored when she gazed at random locations that she could see, but her patience is that of a god, and she is able to sit there for hours on end.
But! She's a good listener like the others, you could ramble about the same thing for an entire day and she wouldn't be bored, and that's just Ei, but then what about Zhongli? Make that even longer.
She surprised you, a lot actually, when you found out that she loved sweets, practically almost everything with a hint of sweetness she will try.
But after a while, even if she would ask and ask again, you've learned not to bring her to kitchens, unless you want it burned to crisp that is.
But it's a good thing that she listens to you, because god knows what would've happened if you chose to actually give her another chance, last time the view wasn't pretty.
If your hair is long enough, she could help you braid it, you would want that, right?
Right?
[ Fourth year ]
Beidou is a confident student in the college that you're in with a huge reputation, she's outgoing, and pretty much one of your cheerleaders when you're feeling down, she's got a whole lot of stories to share when she gets the chance, patting your back while drinking juice and sharing her entire life story, keeps you up when you're down.
She's similar to Zhongli with her long stories, but honestly a bit more aggressive.
She knows she's intimidating, and she isn't afraid to use that, and she's confident enough to do it in front of you, lookin' all joyous and happy while she looked at whoever bothered you two with a smile.
"Sorry, but they're taken."
She words it out like you two are in a relationship and you two really aren't, but even if you'd ask them to stay, they'd always run away with their tails between their legs, which is a bummer if you ask me.
She also asks you to join her while she sails when there's a chance, the two of you bond together a lot that way, however she keeps you.. Well, you don't want to hate but she makes you feel isolated.
But she's caring and all, and even then, you feel a bit protected, even if she's a walking red flag like the others, but she's not aggressive with everybody, no! That wouldn't be the Beidou that you know, and you will avoid her, and she knows that too.
