The Enderman would be very bashful and flustered, trying to return the favor by giving you something in return but truth be told he always saves those flowers you gave him even if they wilt.

Platonic!Yan!Bench Trio vs Wilbur

So..... It's kinda not much of a competition. KINDA.

Ranboo doesn't have a very strong opinion on Wilbur despite any possible protests from the other two- Wilbur doesn't necessarily pass the vibe check but if their darling likes him, he will deal with it it. I mean until Wilbur slips up then he's putting those Enderman genetics to use.

Now as for Tommy and Tubbo.... well things are complicated.

Tubbo doesn't like Wilbur and quite frankly hasn't liked him for a long time and really who can blame him? He kinda blames him for a lot of the bad things that happened to him and Tommy.

Tubbo is a good boy despite all the EXTREMELY passive aggressive comments and thinly veiled threats however. As much as he wants to, he'd hate to see their darling upset if Wilbur was suddenly gone.

But then again, that wouldn't stop him from finding alternatives in getting him out of the picture.

Now Tommy..... sweet clingy whiny Tommy.

He's exactly why it's not much of a competition- he and Wilbur have too much history and despite how complicated it is, he still cares and respects the bastard greatly. Vice versa for Wilbur.

Naturally, it's kinda Tommy's fault that Wilbur may even be dating their darling. Like dude literally might have coerced Ranboo and Tubbo into letting it happen after a lot of back and forth with himself.

But as (mostly) fine as Tommy is with Wilbur dating their darling, he still have big bouts of jealousy and will whine and cry if Wilbur gets a little too much. He will also straight up sabotage and antagonize Wilbur if things go past that or in a really negative direction.

So final conclusion? Wilbur can get away with dating their darling as long as he's a good boyfriend and knows his place.

As you sat in the corner, you watched as your two beloved friends started fighting over you; "THEYRE MINE!" Quackity yelled as he pushed Wilbur back, "What makes you say that?" Wilbur laughed sadistically, which made Quackity Angrier.

You got up and tried to separate the two, not wanting them to fight anymore you said "Guys..we shouldn't fight.." Quackity turned his glare to you, "Shut the hell up Y/N" you flinched noticeably; "Dont Fucking Yell at them!" Wilbur threw the first punch, hitting Quackity's nose; you gasped as you saw blood drip down onto his shirt, "You fucking Bitch!" Quackity yelled as he jumped onto Wilbur, choking him until Wilbur started to go limp, "GUYS STOP IT!" You yelled, both of them looked at you in shock, your eyes turned dark purple, it showed that you were angry.

Both of them glared at each other as they got up from the floor; "I...I dont want you guys fighting anymore, if I am the problem here, I'll just leave.." You then turned to leave, but Wilbur grabbed your wrist softly, you gasped quietly, "You can't leave.." he said as he guided you to the couch, he sat you down as he started into your eyes.

Quackity sighed out of frustration; "Can you stop touching them?" He looked at Wilbur with an annoyed look, Wilbur scoffed.

"Guys...I know that you both love me...but we shouldn't let that be the reason why you guys fight!" You said, they then sat on either side of you, "Were sorry...Well IM sorry" Wilbur then laid his head on your shoulder, and Quackity placed his head on your lap, "Me to, but you're still mine"

Wilbur then looked at Quackity with an angry look, "Shut the hell up" Wiackity wanted to say something but he didnt.

so the main crack idea that’s kinda grown into this emotional thing, at least for me, (and it is Crack), is the whole joke bit video where Grian and Tommyinnit meet up, aka “I Tried to get Grian to Swear”, also known as “the one where they have a building competition” and also get weirdly posessively desirous about Mumbo Jumbo....

Anyway, the idea i had is it actually seems to fit well with other stuff with their HC and Dream SMP roleplay characters, and like they actually play off eachother surprisingly well there. And it’s a chance for both groups to see how “the other half” lives. and they have fun.

So the background of these people is that, oh boy, Tl:dr the relevant parts here is that HermitCraft SMP where Grian usually plays is.... you could call it upbeat, cheerful, and pranksterish but friendly, but not romantic at all. Pretty much anything of that aspect has to be Teen rating. And that includes explicit “straight” stuff too, btw. it’s like a friend molecule. Whereas the Dream SMP, where Tommy’s from, does have that aspect, many gay, straight, poly, marriages. and a lot of passion and genuine caring. also to put what you heard about bluntly, it may not be the worst.... Dream SMP is a hellhole. This is just to set the scene if you know nothing.

So anyway, (in the joke video i referenced, and in my story) this is a time when the two groups meet. And see how they live, and swap stories, and yes build a pair of cottagecore cottages for winner’s clout.

And (in my story at least) they see things in eachother. Grian sees how scarred Tommy is (and how annoying and weird to be around) but also how *passionate* and willing to express how he feels about Grian and Mumbo Jumbo, even if it’s in a little bit of a yandere stan way lol. (understatement)

While Tommy sees in Grian and Mumbo.... one: how absolutely power hungry they are. Like they really like to influence things, really. and that they are inhuman. And well... on the Dream SMP, neither fares very well really. If you’re power hungry (like Dream) you become everyone’s enemy. and there’s so many inhumans/part humans on the DSMP, but g d do they go through some hard times because of it, and can’t even talk to it with anyone. Ranboo is part enderman and has to deal with Follish killing other endermen in front of him and rain and snow burning hi,m. Philza is winged, but has his ability to fly stripped due to injury almost immediately upon joining the server. And yet - to Tommyinnit’s wise eyes - Mumbo and Grian are liked and respected on HermitCraft. wtf.

And ofc, the contest ends with Grian winning and taking Tommy’s prized elytra (a pair of minecraft wings) as a prize (this will be important later)

So just like Dream XD is Dream in admin form - a God in the minecraft world.... the two go off into Admin Mode (which side note, in my story is Watcher Mode for Grian)

And they go talk to Mumza.

And For the Third Life/Last Life/Double Life series - Grian institutes a loooot more passion. and also a LIMITED CANONICAL LIFE SYSTEM like they have in THE DREAM SMP. And finally gets a chance to cling to Scar and Mumbo (but at what cost? “I don’t feel too good about this”)

And for the ORIGINS SMP - Admin Tommyinnit, Tommy XD, institutes unlimited lives, sure, that dcan’t be understated, but also (maybe more importantly) free use of powers or abilities. yes! Elytras, shulkers, ender pearls, teleportation. Just like on HermitCraft. and also * the ability to talk about all this stuff *

(notice any patterns on what species people chose on origins? Tubbo starts as the most highly armed and armored species in the game, Phil has elytra wings, Ranboo is an enderman, Will a ghost, Niki was surrounded by fire, now she’s surrounded by water, Jack had to claw his way out of hell after dying in one of Tommy’s stupid wars on the DSMP and always resented him for it, now he starts in hell on the O SMP and has Tommy come to see him and help him get back.)

Anyway, and Tommy is an Avia, who doesn’t have full elytra and can’t fly but has (cute little) vestigial wings.

And who’s favorite jokingly annoyed phrase is “Phiiiil, i wanna fly like you phil!”

And Tommy’s also said that unlike the Dream SMP the disc thing doesn’t apply here.

So....

(now do you maybe start to see where the elytra comes in?)

On Dream SMP, Tommy gives his music discs away to Dream ( XD ) for everyone’s freedom. and constantly wants them back.

On ORIGINS SMP, planeswalker Admin Tommyinnit XD Gives his elytra to Grian (Watcher) for the ideas of the Origins SMP. And is like “I wanna fly like you Phil.”

(because if you notice, i think part of the “Tommy” personality in any universe, besides being selfish, and talking about girls, and talking shit to ppl, is being willing to give up things he cares about for his friends ).... (and oh boy, grian will take anything, anything that isn’t nailed down. )

But deep down I think he’s a little “happy” with both cases.

and i know this is a different multiverse thing. And i just like multiverses and planeswalkers in general.

But this is part of why i’m emotional about it, if i am.

(and why.... forget grian adopting tommy, how about i ship some Tommyinnit and Grian and Mumbo Jumbo) < 3

Rummaging through the big chest, Enderman supplied it with the new items he gathered. Meat, vegetables, a potion for the worst case. Buckets of water and milk, everything you needed to have as a human. It should be enough to last at least for the upcoming weak, but you had been complaining about it rotting and molding since you couldn’t eat it fast enough or preserve it. You were also craving fruits. Biting his lip, he thought hard about how to accommodate your wishes better when he suddenly heard the growling of a zombie nearby, making him come to an immediate stop.

If he was quiet enough, the zombie shouldn’t be able to make you out inside this little, sparely filled room he created. No one said it would be easy to accumulate enough obsidian to build this hut. Still, it was the only way to keep you safe, even if it took him forever. All these monsters and treacherous villagers outside were after you, and even if he was able to keep them at bay for a long time, what if one day he couldn’t be around to keep you from harm? Perhaps it wasn’t a very pretty domicile, but it was safe. The only light source was one window, but he built it high enough so no zombie, skeleton, or creeper would be able to look through it. He collected a bed for you, chests, and books from the village, but that was all there was to keep you busy.

Enderman listened intently, waiting for the footsteps and grunts to disappear before he could let out a sigh of relief. Even with all the precautions he made, one could never be too safe. Even if he wasn’t worried about himself, if it was for you, he’d do everything to keep you far away from the dangerous mobs roaming the world. Continuing to pack your chest with edibles, he didn’t notice you slowly waking up, rising behind him. Enderman made a point out of coming at night rather than day to avoid the one thing that made him uncomfortable. While he would have loved interacting with you, the human custom of keeping eye contact was something he could never bear to endure. Not even for you.

Even now, your eyes drilling into his back, he began to shake anxiously, hoping you’d recognize him and go back to sleep.

But you didn’t.

You never did.

“It’s late,” he chuckled nervously, slowly closing the lid of the chest before standing up. He had to raise the ceiling quite a bit after realizing he couldn’t fit the space after he built it. Even if he could teleport in and out at his leisure, with his size, it would have been hard to stay with you in an emergency had he kept it at his first draft. But he learned that humans quite liked high ceilings, and secretly he hoped that meant you liked him too, considering his size.

“You should be sleeping. I brought new food, so you can rest assured.”

Was he just talking to overcome the awkwardness? You’ve been nearly killing him with this silent treating of yours, only ever looking at the back of his head. It was unfathomable why you’d treat him with such disrespect. He had voiced his discomfort more than once, but you insisted that you hated his treatment of you, and as such, he’d have to endure the same. But how could you? All of this was only ever in your best interest. Out there, you’d have done the same to keep safe - build a home and gathered food - so why did you hate it when he did it? Wasn’t he good to you? Didn’t he try his best to fulfill all your wishes? Was it too much to ask for that you were safe under his care?

“Please stop,” he whispered with clenched teeth, the shaking of his body getting stronger. “What more do I need to do to make you stop looking at me like that?”

“Let me go,” you finally spoke up, the sound of your voice almost as beautiful as he remembered it--no, even better! A quiet gasp escaped him after finally receiving a word from you, and he turned around for the first time in forever to face you.

A big mistake.

Your eyes met as Enderman suddenly felt overcome with a wave of emotions. He wished it had been only positive ones, but there was no way he could escape his instincts. Doubling over in pain, he grunted, trying to keep himself under control, but to no avail. Even in his state, he could clearly perceive the shuffling of blankets as you got up, noticing the state he was in. Though he wanted to believe you cared for him, it was clear you were merely concerned about what to do if something happened to him. But that would be enough. Even if you just liked him for his use, it would be enough to satisfy him. As long as he could keep you safe, you could use him as much as he wanted.

The obsidian made no sound as he gripped you by the wrists, slamming you into the wall. Your body, on the other hand, made an absolutely horrifying crack, so much so, Enderman feared the worst already. But one look at your eyes showed them clear as day, still very much able to perceive him. Perhaps adrenaline soothed your pain momentarily.

“Stop fucking looking at me like that! I told you so many times to fucking stop! When will you listen?!”

His yell filled the whole space around you two. If he hadn’t been seething with anger, he’d have instantly regretted raising his voice. No less because it could have attracted unwanted visitors. Enderman had never lashed out at you before, never done anything that would put you into the opposite of what he wanted - danger. But here he was, eyes falling to your mouth as your breath hitched, unable to form a word. All you did - finally! - was looking down and away from him before pinching your eyelids close tightly.

Immediately, he felt much calmer, now that you weren’t drilling holes into him anymore. Regaining his senses, he let go of you, letting you plummet back onto the bed he held you above. Whether or not you were in pain wasn’t something either of you seemed to notice. Instead, you were quick to hug yourself, fearful tears rolling from the closed corners of your eyes despite no sobs escaping you. You had no weapons to defend yourself, and a punch didn’t do as much as one of his did to you. It must have been a big shock for you to see the other side of Enderman, one you had a hard time comprehending.

Placing his hand on your shoulder, you flinched noticeably before finally breaking down into crying, collapsing forward onto the mattress. Enderman stood there lost for words or actions to console you, wanting to say something, apologize even! It didn’t matter who’s fault it was, he never wanted to see you hurt or crying! That’s why he did all of this after all!

Instead, he remembered the peculiar thing he found in one of the villages. It was a banner, something he thought you might enjoy hanging up in your tiny home, but when he reached for it now, he had a different idea of what to do with it. Ripping off the bottom wasn’t easy even for him, especially since he allowed no tools or scissors in this safe space. But once he had it, he returned to your side, kneeling next to your bed and lifting your head gently. You tried to turn your face away, but he had a tight grip on you, nudging you to face him. Good as you were, you kept your eyes closed still.

Even if he couldn’t be sure how to do it, he loosely tied the cloth around your head, covering your eyes with it. “W-What…?” you stuttered meekly, feeling the fabric on your skin, and Enderman hushed you gently. “This will do. You won’t be able to look at me this way. You’ll never need to be afraid anymore; this will keep you safe, I promise.”

Whether his assurance went through to you, he couldn’t decide, unable to read your expression as you bit your lip. Your body began to shake again, and it felt almost like his whenever you made him uncomfortable and anxious. Enderman knew this feeling all too well, but you wouldn’t need to bear it alone. He could if he had to, but he wouldn’t let you go through these complicated feelings alone.

Easily, with inhuman strength, he picked you up, sitting down where you had been just seconds ago, and lifted you into his lap. Finally, his big body and long arms were good for something, even if he hadn’t expected it would be comforting you. If it was for him, you two could have continued the relationship you had. Enderman would have simply stayed by your side while you slept, brushing the hair out of your face and pulling up the blanket over you to make sure you had a good rest. You didn’t need to recognize his efforts, and you could even scream at him if you’d prefer that, but it wouldn’t have mattered. He knew you were safe and well-taken care of, and he’d never forget you needed him. That was enough.

But now that he held you in his arms, he wasn’t sure if it was enough for him anymore.

Now that this awful habit of looking at him had been prevented, nothing was stopping him from being close to you. Now he could touch you, hold you, comfort you tenderly! All without fearing what might happen. “It’s going to be alright now,” he hushed you sweetly. “I’m so sorry I lashed out, I will do everything to make it up to you! I’ll bring new books and flowers to decorate with soon, everything will be okay. You can always rely on me; I’ll keep you company from now on, trust me!”

He meant it. Even if he didn’t understand most of the complicated feelings you had, you must have felt relieved as you started to cry even more. And so was he. He was relieved too. Who knew being with you so close, holding you, and swaying back and forth with you felt so wonderful. The only other time he held you, felt your warmth and heartbeat, had been when he teleported you inside of this room. Enderman had always believed that to be the height of all emotions, but he now realized there was so much more! So many more opportunities and feelings to explore. But you had time, right? He wouldn’t be greedy; he’d take his time to explore them all with you and enjoy them thoroughly.

After all, you were safest with him.

And he was the happiest with you.

Bro,,,yandere enderman tho,,,,,,i have so many lore thoughts about minecraft in the first place lmao so yandere enderman makes me so,,,,,,askdmdmdmdm,,,,because of ender"man" im going to use he/him pronouns but i can always edit that

he saw you during a mining trip, you were near the lava, and it illuminated your face and your calloused hands as you wiped your forehead of sweat

you looked up at him, and immediately dropped your pickaxe, running up your passageway

for some reason, he didn't feel angry

he knelt down, and picked up your tool, examining it

why didn't he feel aggravated? humans didn't have the ability to look his kind in the eyes without consequence, as you obviously knew when you ran from your mine

so he was curious

he didn't have much to do with the End being taken over by the dragon, so he had plenty of time on his hands to sate his curiosity

so he followed the mine, teleporting into the crevices that were tall enough for him to fit in until he made it to the surface

your house was nice, he decided

it was comfortable, and you made it tall enough for him

he left your pickaxe on the doorstep

but he didn't leave

no, he watched you for months, meticulously eyeing the way you gardened, your favorite foods, the wolf you tamed

you were so diligent in your work, and it reminded him of his people before the dragon

you were like them in spirit, if not body

but still, body was important. he noticed he was getting concerned a few weeks in. you didn't stop. you had some breaks, sure, but you kept going

you were so small, so fragile, your body was going to break

he started dropping off gifts. he wasn't entirely sure why, but hopefully you'd see them as from your wolf, right?

the thought felt weird to him, but he ignored it.

raw meat was the best he could do, he realized, if he went to the End to get chorus fruit, he might not return

and something about not seeing your pretty face made him upset

you accepted his gifts, and the smile you wore as you thanked your wolf made his heart ache

you should be thanking him, he decided. he wants your attention

it took a great deal of talking himself up, the warbles of the End tongue disconcerting the mobs around him, but he did teleport into your house, on the top floor

you weren't home, but he wondered when you would be

he waited, sitting on your bed

End, why did it smell so good?

he snuggled into the pillow, and felt himself come to a realization

you accepted his gifts, you looked at him. you smelled so, so good, and you had to need his protection

you were so small and weak after all

he was practically made for you

he was your mate

he teleported into the corner of the room to wait

you didn't know, you couldn't find him on your bed. humans were sensitive about these things

when you did come home, the image of an enderman in your house with a grass block with a flower nearly made you faint in suprise, but you lowered your gaze, and continued

the enderman garbled. he watched you lower your gaze, and while he acknowledged that it was probably a good idea, the need to know exactly what his mates eyes looked like burned inside him

he held out the block, nudging you with it

"oh, is this for me?"

you stuttered, and he found your voice much more pleasant than he had even imagined he would

he garbled out a reply, and you tentatively took the block with the flower

he retreated back to his corner to watch you admire it

of course, it was (your favorite flower) so you marveled at it, small smile interrupting the strangeness of the situation

"thank you. I'll make a pot to put it in"

he delighted in your smile. he did that, made you smile

he just knew he could make you happy

after all, you were made for each other, were you not?

soon, this began routine, a routine that meant much more to him than to you, but routine nonetheless

you would come home after a long day, and there he would be, with a flower, or a dead animal, or a block of ore

you spoke to him of your adventures and escapades, and he listened intently

you were so passionate, so lovely, so....

frustrating

you kept visiting that village, full of people, full of people that would take you away if they had the chance

you already told him of a blacksmith who had picked you flowers, presenting them sheepishly, and when he grumbled, you had giggled, stating that you liked his flowers the best

of course you did. you had too

that didn't stop him from filling your house with your favorites a day later, looking awfully proud of himself sitting in his usual corner

you were just fine alone, he didn't get why you needed to go to the village. supplies? he can get them for you if you want

but you didn't understand his warbling and grumbling, so you kept going

it wasn't his fault that the blacksmith was found dead a few days later, he assures you when you rant concerned to him

it wasn't his fault the entirety of the librarians books are suddenly in your shelves and chests.

you must have forgotten you bought all of those

he didn't do anything, he promises

and he lies

but you're so, so easy to fool when you can't understand him, when you think that he lost all his free will and thought with the dragon

but he's there to protect and guide you, so don't worry

just

please don't go to any villages anymore, alright?

after all, you only need him
