Two days ago I made this poem as a spoken word and happened to post it at the exact same time my friend, @wordsbyjenpoetry posted her piece. We had no idea the other had written the exact same theme and posted at the the exact same time, words that unbeknownst to either of us, made a beautiful collaboration when put together. So we put it together. The work of synchronicity.

We can only be intimate when we share our vulnerability, our true nakedness.

The Summer I Turned Pretty

An emotional connection is feeling of alignment between people, that goes beyond having fun together, surface level conversion, or even intellectual similarities, instead it feels like you're connecting on a deeper soul level, and feel secure connecting that deeply and that's how some connections become unexplainable.
