You are correct, it's been a LONG time since I've put a new list together... I don't have any new personal recs (been a LONG time since I've read them), so what I'm going to do is do a tag search on my MFL list and put together a nice fresh list of fics suggested to me by you guys! Please note that I have NOT read any of the fics on this list so I'm probably wrong somewhere, LOL. Hellfire by HarleysCompass (E, 66,660+ w., 19/? Ch. || WiP || Fallen Angel AU || Biblical References, BAMF John, Sexual Content, Fallen Angel John) – In 1880 Dr. John H. Watson dies on foreign soil. The next thing he knows he's wandering the planes of Heaven. After betraying God, John is cast out, employed by the devil, and protecting a sociopath of a human with a penchant for trouble and pissing off Angels.

Four days prior, Derek had openly scoffed at Stiles's suggestion of him getting some hands-on experience with regards to fighting—or at the very least learning some better self defence tactics—pretty fucking cruelly in Stiles's opinion, fuck you very much. 

"You. Training. With the pack." The Alpha had repeated Stiles's words back to him in shorthand in that flat, patronising way of his. 

Fucking Sourwolf.

"Stiles, do you have a death wish that you haven't told me about? Actually, strike that, I'm pretty sure you're wholly incapable of keeping a single fucking thing to yourself; if you did have a death wish, the whole damned world would know about it by now," he'd snarked snidely, making unjust comment on Stiles's love affair with the English language and his unfortunate (to some—don't listen to the haters!) lack of an off switch.

Stiles had wanted to punch Derek's lights out just as much as he wished he had the balls to lean in and lick the smug look off of the arrogant werewolf's beautiful, beautiful face (seriously, curse those perfect Hale genes). 

Being seventeen years old and a human member of a werewolf pack was so confusing at times.

Also, Derek clearly wasn't as clever as he thought he was because he obviously had no clue about the kinds of things Stiles was more than capable of keeping secrets about.

"You're human," the big wolfy douche had continued his onslaught by pointing out the obvious, looking Stiles up and down in what could only be described as a Highly Derogatory Fashion.

Stiles hated how hot he found it. Like, what the hell was wrong with him?

Tails was on her doorstep, hands cupped in front of him as he rocked on his heels. His ears perked when the door opened, his tails giving tiny, gentle thumps against the ground at the sight of the girl. “Hi Amy!” He greeted with a smile, waving at the hedgehog. He turned his attention to the bag slung around him, gesturing to it, “I brought your toaster back, but–” His sentence was cut off by Amy, who tugged him into a tight hug. “It’s so good to see you again!” She nuzzled the top of the fox’s head before pushing him just far enough to rest her hands on his shoulders, “You need to get out of that workshop of yours more! I’ve missed you!” She scolded, softening when she saw the younger’s ears wilt. “I know, I’m sorry.” Tails apologized, rubbing the back of his head as he averted his gaze. Amy sighed, “It’s fine. Just come see me more and we’ll call it good.” She winked at the kit then pulled him into the house, closing the door behind them. “I’ve got everything set up already.” She said, leading the fox to her kitchen. “Uhm, it’s gonna take a little longer for your blender to be fixed.” Tails reached into his bag, pulling out the hedgehog’s toaster and handing it to her, “It was finished, but then I got a surprise visit from Sonic and Shadow. Your blender ended up a victim.” Amy rolled her eyes with a sigh, “Those two are a mess.” She muttered, shaking her head as she returned the toaster to its original spot next to the fridge. “You didn’t get hurt, right?” “Nah,” Tails waved off her concerns, taking off his bag and setting it on the table, “Sonic would've probably killed Shadow if I got hurt during it. My workshop on the other hand came out with a few scars.” The hedgehog winced, giving the boy a sympathetic frown, “I’m sorry, Tails. Do you want me to talk to them?” She offered, wanting to do something to cheer the kit up. “I think I gave them a clear enough message.” Tails said, shaking his head to refuse the offer, “Thanks, though.”

ITS STILL SUNDAY!!! I've been tagged by the lovely @firenati0n and @heybuddy-drabbles and @firstsprinces and I'm so excited by all the snippets I read from you lovelies!! I'm giving y'all seven sentences of a potential florist!Alex au. This is literally all I have written for it but I'm hoping to pick it back up soon bc I have ideas.

At 11:59 AM on the dot, Alex finds himself sidled up to his storefront's window, absently picking at the arrangements on display but very obviously staring out at the sidewalk and the foot traffic passing by. The arrangements are fresh, he just changed them over this morning, but he finds small things to nitpick as he waits – a bloom that's wilting slightly, or a frond sticking just too far out, looking a little too chaotic rather than artfully wild. None of it is necessary, but over the past month this has become routine, so he doesn't look like the creepy stalker he truly is. 

"Oh God, Alex, why don't you just press your face against the glass and oggle him?" He hadn't heard Nora come in, and startles a little before scoffing at her, but he quickly turns back to the street view.

"I'm just refreshing the arrangements, it's chill Nora," but there's a slight edge to his voice, and they both know he's lying through his teeth. 

Of course it's that precise moment that the blond man walks into view, making him look even worse because Nora's right, he just stops, hands stopped in the middle of shoving an obstinate rose back into a new spot, and he stares.

OH BOY CAN I! :) Okay, so. Picture this:

Butcher Neil who works as an assassin and subordinate for Ichirou and killed Nathan years ago. He hates the work but the only way to survive his father was to throw his lot in with Ichirou and usurp Nathan. He craves a life of normalcy, to be free of it all. 

But the only slice of normal he can get is at the tiny coffee shop on 5th Avenue, lightly bantering with his favorite grouchy barista.

Andrew doesn't know much about the scarred, handsome man with the prettiest blue eyes he's ever seen. All he knows is that Neil only drinks coffee at night, that he wears a long black coat and that his sharp smiles and intelligent gaze radiate danger.

One night, Andrew spots Neil out in public after work and from a distance it looks like Neil is getting mugged. And of course Andrew isn't about to let his favorite customer get hurt so he goes to intervene (aka punching the guy in the face)

Little does he know that the guy he punched works for Neil and it's only through Neil's intervention that he doesn't pull a gun on Andrew and shoot him right there.

And Neil is just 🥺 so touched and so gooey that Andrew came to his defense and fought for him even though he didn't need to, even though Neil is perfectly capable of taking care of himself. Nobody's ever done that for him before.

Neil sends his henchman home after that and takes Andrew to the nearest 24 hour convenience store to buy some ice for his sore knuckles. And it's just the two of them, sitting on the curb outside a 7-11 while Neil gently presses a bag of frozen peas onto Andrew's hand.

And for the first time, Neil has a friend.

How many universes will she go through to have the chance to try again. High Grav High Jinx (Starfield- Coemancer) : So Sam Coe is from a High grav world. Must make him pretty damn strong, right? ...... Savages (Vampyr- McReid): Dr Jonathan Reid, Who did what he had to do to stop the red Queen, and lost it all, reaches for the one thing that pulled him back to London- Geoffrey McCullum. Paradigm Shift(Vampyr- - McReid) : The Red queen defeated, Dr Jonathan reid, vows to make it up to his my cherished Progeny, the leader of the Guard of Priwen. An Emerging Shadow (Dishonored/Thief) : Kiara Black knew she had to escape the clutches of the Abbey and where better than the Eternal City, where she could learn how to be a better thief....if the Master thief would train her. To See Beyond Forever (Dishonored - Emsider): Now that the Outsider was human and Billie had helped him recover, all he wanted to do was get back to Emily. The Long Game (Deus Ex/ Assassin's Creed): Zofie Orel, assassin in 2029 is sent to Prague to assess a possible ally for the Coterie of Assassins and for her mission to destabilise the Illumanti. Yeah omg of course! I'm working on a few little fics right now, or at least have the backbone for them as I call it. I keep trying to finish the first one but I'm in the process of moving and in my last month of school so i'm sort of running around seeing people for the last time and literally packing and yeah!

So the one I'm trying to get up ASAP (I literally wanted it up 2 days ago and didn't bc I suck) is Enobaria and Cashmere in ARWBFB Au during the 74th games! Sort of them just being like does Cato have a single braincell does he notice anything but himself and/or Clove. It's just fun and light and playful.

The other ones include Cato and Clove with the twins (not Gloss and Cash, the little ones), Enobaria and Cash with the kids, Clove and Cato's first baby etc etc etc! they're all on the table! Hopefully to get finished and published soonish ❤️ And as always let me know if theres anything y'all want and i'll be happy to add it on ❤️

From the First Time That I Saw You by BookGirlWithLove (E, 6,813+ w., 4/16 Ch. || WiP || Actor John AU || Christmas, Meet Cute) – Sherlock Holmes very rarely paid any attention to popular culture. He didn’t listen to the radio or watch telly. He seldom watched films. Unless that film had a certain actor in it. A certain actor who, while he might not be on everyone’s favourite list, was most certainly on Sherlock’s. In fact, he was the only celebrity to ever give Sherlock pause, which said a lot. That actor was John Watson. Who was currently standing in Sherlock’s sitting room, awkwardly holding two bottles of wine.
