Current obsession: clonesclonesclonesclones forever. I haven't had a special interest/hyperfixation this deep since I was like 12-14 so like this is one of the most important things in my life tbh. Specifically like thinking about how their culture would work, and their solidarity, internal conflicts, shared trauma and how that would relate to those things. Their ideas about personal and cultural identity and how that would vary individually. Things like how their upbringing must have felt, how that affected them and who they became later in life, the things they're taught vs what they truly come to believe once they're out on the field, the psychological effects of O66 on the clones who survived and the devastating impact it must have had- Bro stop me or I'll keep going forever like. I'm in deep and tbh? I wouldn't change it for the world.

Warning: Cringe Sebek moment (we go to the Malleus church every weekend to sing him praises)
Although I, and a lot of people in the fandom really, like exaggerating Malleus as this lovable idiot who fucks up basically everything he does because of his lack of common sense, I looked through NRC's courses and am 90% sure he's their batch valedictorian. And that probability is being modest because his GloMas vignette shows us he's very strict at making sure he does everything perfectly.
Alchemy, Ancient Magic, Animal Linguistics, Art, Astrology, Abbreviated Spellcasting in Ancient and Modern Magic, Chemistry, Culinary Crucible, Defensive Magic, Flight, History of Magic, Enigmics, Musicology, P.E., Poison Refining, Potionology, Practical Magic, and Summoning.
Most of the above are subjects the game doesn't forget to remind us that he's great at, which isn't surprising as he's both a genius and an extremely hard worker. Top it off with genuine curiosity and openness to criticism, and we have the perfect student. Even his random school lines are arrogant wherein he says he doesn't even need to look at textbooks to ace a subject. The only subjects I could see that others would be better than him at are: a) Chemistry because he doesn't seem to care much about science; b) Animal Linguistics as I've never seen him converse with animals? But maybe a dragon has a bit of affinity with talking to them?; c) Culinary Crucible, but this is an elective and one he performed decently at; and d) Flight, because he admits that Lilia is better than him at this. Maybe Art could be listed here as his tastes are rather... unconventional, but I think any competent Art professor could evaluate his particular hyperfixations as truly works of art and passion lol.
The only way he wouldn't be the top student is if his idiotic zero-common-sense flaw takes over his life and he doesn't show up to exams. Which isn't unlikely, tbh. Anyway that doesn't take from the fact that he's extremely, extremely capable, and I find the dichotomy of his raw intelligence versus absolute lack of wisdom to be very interesting.

Tbh, I dont think Tumblr itself ever "died"
I think it's just "not enough" in the eyes of some folk who need LOTS of the attention, so they moved to other forms of social media to get that desperate clout they crave 🤷🏻♀️
Tumblr didn't DIE.
People just being HAPPY writing their little stories and sharing their little art with a smaller audience than other social medias, regardless of how many fuckin likes and followers it gets them is what DIED.
Having thousands upon thousands of likes and followers became more important.
THATS what happened.
Wouldn't change my tiny corner of the Internet for my creations and hyperfixations here for the world.

Another Dp x DC au!
That's right! I'm back at it again, strangely hyperfixated on Johnny 13, but oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Johnny 13 is a clone au!!
This neat little au appeared sometime after seeing an au where another one of Danny's clones had survived and named himself 31.
So of course I saw Johnny 13 and went :)
So Johnny is a clone. The 13th clone to be exact and the one that lived the longest out of all the rest of the clones. Of course he still died (he is a ghost) but he had lived long enough for his soul to imprint on enough ectoplasm to form.
What about the other clones?
Shadow
That's right! The clone's fear and pain was enough to turn them into shades but there wasn't enough individuality or something to grab onto, so they weren't able to form into their own ghosts!
So what were baby shades, who wouldn't be able to survive once again alone, to do? Take a page out of a school of fish's book and latch onto each other in order to survive!
Shades feed off emotions in order to survive, since I hc that they aren't strong enough to be able to properly intake raw ectoplasm. So they take it in it's base stage instead!
So what are a school of shades to do when they see a small ghost that feels the same way they do?
Adopt him into the school of course! :) they're all siblings here and family sticks together! So what if this one is stronger than them? That just means more chances for survival!
They take everything happily with a grain of salt. Of course Johnny gets ghost adopted. Because he's still a child.
Tbh I believe it's Walker that adopts him. Mostly because I just like tough guys being soft to their own kids. Either that or Spectra 🤔 then again I don't remember either of the characters interacting with each other so it's possible!
Walker would probably try to separate Johnny and the Shades at first. But after asking why Johnny would just say:
"They're my siblings!"
And that would be the end of that! The shades would feed off Johnny's emotions sometimes, and Johnny would help his shades by scaring people and causing chaos sometimes!
I headcannon that if a shade tries hard enough or becomes the apprentice of an ancient (I.E Nocturn and his dream walkers) Shades could become strong enough to feed on ectoplasm with the occasional emotion and live fairly normal ghostly lives.
Of course Johnny's siblings aren't about to do that anytime soon since that'd involve leaving one of their own behind :)
So instead they stick together, happy to just be a family, as weird as they are.
Of course this wouldn't be a crossover au if Johnny and his siblings DIDN'T somehow find their way onto the JL radar.
Could be entirely on accident
Johnny looks like the splitting imagine of whoever he was cloned from.
Johnny and his shadow could've gone causing chaos!
But I like the possibility of BatMan or the YJL stumbling across the area in which Johnny and the others were made.
I remember seeing a post with a theory that ghosts could feel when you mess with their grave/corpse. So when the YJL stumble upon him and his siblings grave site.
Johnny would be PISSED! That's his siblings GRAVE! Who dares to step foot near them?! And proceeds to speed through a portal that just so happens to open right in front of the f*ckers that dared mess with something so important to him.
(Imagine finding a room with the corpses and still being used test tubes of failed clones and all of a sudden you hear a Roar that shakes the earth before an entire LAZARUS PIT opens in the middle of the room and a pissed off looking cyclist with the souls of the damned, charges out at you with a war cry. And you can't hit him)
That would lead to the valid question though of WHO exactly they're cloned after! It was cannon that Roy and of course Superman were cloned. (And maybe one of the batfam if I remember correctly) so could it be one of them? Or someone else?
Either way, Jason is pissed and the team now has an angry ghost and Shadow to deal with.
(I still find it weird that Johnny is the ONLY ONE sans those that have white or black hair, to have A NORMAL HAIR COLOR! Those locks are 110% dyed and bleached! Change my mind! And no, Spectra's human disguise doesn't count, it's fake.)

hiya! I'm Wren. he/they, nonbinary, pansexual star stable player who got sucked into this silly horse game by accident. I am the self proclaimed no. 1 Darko hater (/silly) and also huge lover of the Soul Riders they're one of the big reasons I stuck w/ the game (and as of late I've been hyperfixating on the Dark Riders just as much tbh)

in game my name rn is Blake Crazyfrog but when and if the name change update drops i'll probably be changing that to Haley Starborn. speaking of which, lemme introduce you to my main SSO OC: Halo! quick summary of their backstory: one day, they washed up on the shores of Moorland with little to no memory of who they were, just an inner longing to return to the stars and a mysterious connection to one of the horses at the nearby stables. thus begins their journey to adapting to life on earth, navigating their way around Jorvik's mysteries, and growing into the role as the fifth Soul Rider.
^ one of my bingles of all time ft. their starter and soul horse, Babyboy, who is also typically my main horse in game. don't ask me how many horses I have I lost count a long time ago but its at least over 100 by now. not all of them are canonically owned by Halo but I haven't fully decided which ones are yet.
typical dni rules, just don't a bigot or asshole and we're cool. also if you're like. an avid hater of the soul riders or something please like. avoid this blog that's partly for my own comfort and also you probably wouldn't enjoy it here anyway.

he saw his fair share of noblemen riding their well groomed stallions and duchesses feeding their ponies sugar cubes, yet he didn't really pay much attention to it
upon mentioning it for the first time he's gonna be like 🤨 immediately associating it with the nobles and their pretentious version of the sport, only to realize it isn't as black-and-white as he made it out to be
i wouldn't really call tonio a person who's rlly good with animals tbh
like? it isn't that he hates animals, in fact it's quite the opposite, he just isn't made for taking care of them
will still bring some apples or carrots for your horse(s) okok‼️
although he mostly leaves you at peace while you do horseriding, considering it your way of relaxing and calming yourself, sometimes he'll come by the fence and watch you
will help you get on your horse if needed and assist you as much as he can with equipment and getting ready!
also thinks you look really hot attractive in your equestrian uniform ,, he's gonna discreetly whisper it into your ear as he helps you mount your horse and enjoy watching you turn red every time you two make eye contact as you ride... hehe.....

aight listen this man is a herpetologist. he spent minimum 4 years inspecting scaly little creatures. petite marble eyed beasts, if you will. everything but a four legged man sized mammal
not to mention horses are scared of him considering how HUGE he is (which makes him sad :c)
he has no knowledge on horses or anything horse-related but he's more than willing to drop his reptile studies for some time

he's a man who's naturally brimming with curiosity, if he finds something interesting enough he's going to pull an all nighter just to research it

alva is (suprisingly... or not?) a big fan of animals, and horses just happen to be one of his favourite ones
he finds them so majestic and graceful, yet most horses run away from him since his presence is quite intimidating (especially considering his body is quite literally a fully-charged electrical conductor) and throws them off guard
if you get lucky and your horse doesn't run away the second he gets near he'd gladly pet it if you let him!!!
he is NOT riding them though. no way in hell he's too tall + he'd just make the horses even more nervous
so he's just going to stay aside and enjoy watching you spend your time doing what you love :))
you'll find him visiting the stable(s) self-initiatively, bringing in snacks for them and such !!! he can't help it ok !!!
this man often has an unreal urge to baby you (not in an infantilizing way or something - he just does stuff for you which you could easily do yourself, it's kind of his love language) he's going to insist on buttoning up your blazer and helping you mount the horse, doing such mundane activities with/for you makes him feel better and more present in your life
here and there you'll find him silently inspecting your equipment, slowly twirling and folding the whip and touching the leather surface of the saddle
he never goes with you when you have training, but as you ride you'll often catch a glimpse of him watching you train from the shadows

hello I'm fucking obsessed with your Hozier analyses. You just GET IT!! Wasteland, Baby! was my hyperfixation for a while, so I'd like to pitch a few suggestions that I would love to hear more from you about:
Movement - Ballet König, Ghost/Die or König/Fetch (honestly, all of the demon au humans watching their demon darling work): "When you move, honey I'm put in awe of something so flawed and free...Move like grey skies, move like a bird of paradise, move like an odd sight come out at night...so move me baby"
Nobody - Price/Duck, Soap/Moon: "And I think about you though, everywhere I go, and I've done everything and I've been everywhere you know, But I've had no love like your love from nobody" "I'd be appalled if I saw you ever try to be a saint, I wouldn't fall for someone I thought couldn't misbehave"
Talk - honestly works for every pairing, but I'm thinking König/Liebling or König/Bee: "Imagine being loved by me, I won't deny I've got in my mind, all the things I could do, so I try to talk refined for fear that you find out how I'm imaginin' you"
Dinner & Diatribes - again, works for everyone, but I'm getting Ghost/Die vibes: "I knew it from the first look of mischief in your eyes, I'd suffer Hell if you'd tell me what you'd do to me tonight. A pillar I am of pride, scarcely can speak for my thinking what you'd do to me tonight"
Obviously, you don't have to go with the pairings I suggested. I'm just here to feed the Hozier analysis because goddamn I love that man's music. OK I'm going to list Hozier songs I associate with each couple and a short(Ghoul Short) reason. I'm just going to be doing couples I haven't already talked about, but god there's so many of these assholes.
"Nobody" is Gaz and Birdie's song, genuinely I think it's their first dance at their wedding. "I'd be appalled if I saw you ever try to be a saint, I wouldn't fall for someone I thought couldn't misbehave" is just so them. Both of them have spent their lives experiencing every part of the world they could, and they've found a love unparalleled in each other.
"De Selby part 1" or "Damage Gets Done" is Soap and Moon. Idk I think they need a duet, they're hard to pin down. With De Selby there's this huge-ness to it, the night and the dawn that your love captures and contains. The feeling of holding the sun in your hands and being burned. Damage Gets Done is almost mournful but it's a celebration. It's two people with nothing but each other, desperately hoping that their codependency doesn't hurt, doesn't end. They're young and reckless but that won't be what hurts them, it'll be the other person that spells their ultimate doom.
"Talk" 100% Konig and Bee. All the things he wants to do to her, do with her. It's madness, he has to hold himself back, talk refined, or he's worried he'll scare her off.
"Wasteland! Baby" feels Price and Duck to me. Just the gentle rhythm, the ebb and flow of "I'm in love, I'm in love with you" holding hands as the world ends around them. Through the fear and the fire that happens each time a boy falls in love with a girl, through sickness and health, through deployments and medical school, through unplanned weddings and even more unplanned pregnancies. For every airport pickup, and lunch break, I'm in love with you.
"Movement" is Ballet!Konig and his darling, self explanatory. She makes him love dance again, she moves and thus moves him as well.
"To Be Alone" is Ghost and Die. "Honey, when you kill the lights/ And kiss my eyes/ I feel like a person for a moment of my life/ But you don't know what hell you put me through" do you see my vision? They're tied to each other, they need each other, but it's scary and it hurts, but they can't quit each other. Not yet. (BUT ALSO "Who We Are" is so fucking Ghost and Die "Christ, hold me like a knife" I could write ESSAYS)
"From Eden" is Price and Price. This again strikes me as something that would duet well with the two of them. The death of innocence, the familiarity with each other. There's something almost ancient, intrinsic, about the way they fall together. A demon slithered up from eden and settled outside Price's door, and it was so familiar to him that he had no choice but to love them.
"In a Week" is Gaz and Luck. The duet just works so well. They lay together at the end of all things and yet they still know who lays beside them. They'd know each other blind, in a crowd they'd pick out their love's voice. In death they'd still recognize each other. They're home with each other, and it doesn't matter which consumes them first because when they're found they'll be together with their fingers entwined.
"Son of Nyx" is Soap and Hush. The atmospheric swell of piano, the fuzz of background noise, the haunting lilt of a lyricless voice, the strings dragging against the melody of the piano. Somehow the discordant sounds all piece together into (one of my favorite) song, and then everything falls away just to the strings. The emotion of it just leaves me breathless. There's something careful about the music Soap and Hush make together, something that starts in confusion and ends with a swell of emotion.
"Moment's Silence(Common Tongue)" is Konig and Fetch. It's the oral. BUT it's also the release, the short moment of clarity, or respite, that they give each other. There's no meaning to the things they do, no honor in mercenary work, no greater good they're fighting for. They take meaning in each other, and soothe the wounds of a war that isn't theirs.
"Foreigner's God" is Viking!Soap and his darling. This is another essay I could write. Both of them foreigners, bound by their shared history, by their language, by their desire to live on for the people they've lost. Soap holds his love like a new god. Both of them have suffered, but together they can rebuild.
"Run" is Knight!Ghost and his princess. "Run to me, lover, run until you feel your lungs bleeding" y'know? You get it. The clawing of others for his love, the desperation to get to each other. "A shame without sin" their whole relationship is built on an absence of sin(physicality) but it keeps the shame of their desires. ALSO "First Light" is so them. The absolute love and devotion, seeing your lover when you open your eyes and knowing that your whole life is laying beside you.
I'm not gonna do the fae or Ghost!Ghost because this is already long, sorry. but i have many thoughts on everyone. You're reigniting my Hozier hyperfixation.

i've been following you for your destiel and misha content for my destiel/spn sideblog, and i've known about 9-1-1 vaguely for years but never thought i'd be into it. now i have you to thank for making me a 9-1-1 girlie! if it weren't for you blogging about upcoming bi!buck i wouldn't have experienced the euphoria of it happening in realtime on tumblr! i honestly didn't think it was actually going to happen, but then i saw the kiss immediately went and watched the previous eps of season 7 and the lead-up was so good and 7x04 was SO GOOD!! and i love all the characters (hen and chim specifically aside from buck and tommy but really everyone has their appeal) so i'm definitely tempted to watch the previous 6 seasons for them not just for buck's backstory or for the buddie of it all, but i don't have the bandwith right now so i'm just absorbing everything from the previous seasons through osmosis on tumblr and the fics i read. but yeah. i can't begin to thankyou, seriously, the happenstance was perfect! i haven't felt this invigorated about media since one piece aired (still hoping for queer characters there), and before that it was our flag means death. i'm so excited to see buck's journey play out bc honestly i've been feeling weighed down and low about how dean never got to come out and destiel wasn't given the respect it deserved in the end. anyway, it's just so refreshing and inspiring to see more shows embrace and celebrate queer characters, specifically older male characters just realising that part of themselves. i love 9-1-1 for giving us this rep and hope it inspires other shows to do the same, to be open to evolving queer storylines for characters who have been "straight" for previous seasons (another one that comes to mind is jackson from teen wold, but that's another post, ha).
anyway! sorry for rambling, i just wanted to say thankyou for your blogging about 9-1-1/buck bc it has literally brightened my life and introduced me to not only a great show with great characters but another great cast and a truly talented creative fandom.
i know this is like way down in the message but i wanted to get it out of the way: JACKSON FROM TEEN WOLF!!! god that was so shocking to me as a longtime fan of the show. teen wolf was one of my first hyperfixations, i still have my stilinski lacrosse hoodie in my closet!! the reveal that he was dating one of those twins?!!! (i forget which one 😆). i was so happy…
anyways back to the main point. i am so so glad you’ve followed me from destiel and misha to 911, it truly is a pipeline many of us seem to go down. i noticed you in my notes a lot especially with my bucktommy posts (which have been pretty frequent tbh, they’re addicting to talk about 😵💫) so i was so surprised to hear you started watching just now!
experiencing the episode and the kiss live was what i imagine 15x18 would have been like but a bit more. well. happy? to watch buck finding a little bit of happiness and euphoria in discovering something he never knew he was missing. it was like nothing i’ve ever felt, and i’ve been living off the high since it happened. it really has been monumental in getting you excited in a piece of media, especially involving a BI MAN IN HIS MID 30’s!!!! it’s a piece of history, and we’re so lucky to have all the actors and writers and the showrunner who support it? including both lou and oliver who’ve been nothing but amazing and EXCITED about the kiss and bi buck. how lucky are we??!!
and what i’m loving even more is the people (like you) who found my blog and decided to start watching or following buck’s journey and related to it or found joy in it. it means so much to me and i’m just so grateful for the constant happiness this show gives me and others. the characters are all so special to me, obviously buck in particular. but i love how it’s truly an ensemble show and there’s so much representation and love clearly throughout, literally from the start with hen and karen.
after destiel and the end of spn, 911 is a breath of fresh air for me and i’m so glad it is for you as well. i totally get feeling down about them lately, i have too. i kinda jumped headfirst into earnestly 911 blogging and i have no regrets. glad you’re here with me!!!!

This is an interpretation and concept I made up for fun with my headcanons, a theory even. So don't put words in my mouth. None of this canon nor am I saying it is. (but it's definitely canon in this head of mine, leave me be GJVFHCHF)

I headcanon Bro Strider as a trans guy (bc I headcanon Dirk as trans-masc), but like a trans guy who's lives in the down-low about being gay but completely hides that he's trans. I imagine he strayed away from any family he had before transitioning and was like, never gonna go back lol. Im pretty sure Bro was like a young adult around the 70s or 80s too so like we all know what was going on around those times tbh, plus the general prejudice that happened during those times (and to this day) can definitely imagine him dissociating from that in general.
IT ALSO ADDS ON BC I HEADCANON HIM AS BLACK SO LIKE black trans gay guy, pls that'd be a monstrosity of trauma whether it was indirect OR direct. 😱😱😱
My whole idea is that Bro was dissociating from most of that, probably met Mom Lalonde at some point in the past (like not romantically or sexually or anything of the sort). He's always been smart and a strong guy and able to work around shit but I think later on he actually starts becoming successful in the p0rn industry. Kind of where he was at his high but yeah, after he started gaining such popularity and success during that time is where Dave comes into the picture.
Uses training that he's seen in anime (stupid idiot) and as well as like Lil Cal guidance,,, let's not forget that puppet possessed in the beta universe... (And honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Bro Strider had an already general idea of extreme physical training before hand btw) Also like.... Dave's transness is way more different from Bro's though, more through experience. Dave was simply raised and he believed himself to be a boy because Bro was a boy and he also liked the stuff aligned with it. He never went to public school, he was homeschooled but he walked in the city alone alot, probably made a few friends in parks or near school grounds but was never IN school.
He was a boy no one really questioned it, so it only came up that he could be societally aligned with girls later on, like probably 10-12. But was probably pushed out of any traumatic shock by Bro about it and Bro was probably giving Dave a lot of like "man up" mentality. He was never actually able to process it much so it just never bothered him until later on in his life (probably mid-meteor ride).

Like the trans Bro kind of came up one day when I was hyperfixating on Dirk (whom I headcanon as trans-masc, not a trans guy persay but he definitely leans into man label, I've been playing with his dislike for labels and kind of putting him under queer haha!) which is also fun and interesting to play with Bro because that also implies he's non-binary but like doesn't understand that label on the slightest nor cares enough to identify as anything else but as a guy!!
(Also quickly wanted to add that a good label that aligns with Dirks gender /for ppl who need it/ would be nonbinary guy/demi-guy/trans-masc nonbinary, Dirk just doesn't strictly label it, nor does he want to)
Like a few friends I've talked to said Bro would definitely be a transmed and honestly he probably is but more to the degree of not understanding ppl that go against the transmed ideology but like not caring bc it's not business (in my whole concept anyways), he's not interested in it or most people so he doesn't really blurt out about it. He'd probably think people like Kalvin Garrah and ppl similar to him are dumb as hell bc like, "cis ppl have always hated us wtf are you on?" But he also doesn't involve himself in any LGBT politics/problems, at most keeps up with stuff so he gets his down low business done safely.

Dave would be considered to literally be a stud if he was known to be afab, he also has small breasts like Dirk/Bro too so a compression shirt would do the trick easy. He never actually medically transitioned until probably post-game, as an adult.
Upon actually going through puberty Dave was simply given the pill. Bro didn't raise Dave as a trans kid, he raised him as a boy without transness in mind!
Bro didn't educate Dave about trans ppl or anything of the sort, he simply raised him. Dave was a boy and still a boy, just not the same way as Bro, expression-wise and in experience.

Bro was like literally living and identifying as a cis man and his down low life was more about being a gay black man rather then a TRANS gay black man.
There's definitely a possibility he ran into a few trans men/trans-masc ppl and felt more comfortable with exposure with a few of those individuals but like yeah he kept his transness in the down-low bc even gay who were cis looked down on trans gays
Especially as someone who grew up in the 70s-80s where's trans ppl in general were seen as weirdos even within the lgbt community in certain areas AND racism. Both of those existed inside and outside the trans community.
So yeah, like. He couldn't really hide the fact he was black (though can't say he was ashamed of being black the same way he was ashamed of himself being trans, but he probably does have some slight internalized racism in general), but it had gotten "better" atleast a couple years prior of Dave arriving. His transness tho is very easy to hide. He did not need any top surgery bc he had already had small breasts and testosterone can make your breasts decrease in size as well, along with his very heavy increase in muscle? All of that made it so he didn't really need surgery at all and he made his own bottom prosthetics for himself for easy hiding during any possible sexual encounters.

it's going good! my google doc is at over 5 pages, I got some nice sketches and the responses have been very helpful and fun >:D (shout out to isopod guy)

anyway: I SUPPOSE i might as well explain what the fuck I've been doing (if anyones noticed a lack of posts in the past handufl od days: the reason for my absence is that I was busy iwth my smurfing fdja )
bassically I've always had a LOT of questions regarding the smurfs, (many of which I've had sense childhood) and it's been plaguing me because nobody else seems to care to answer these questions, I'll be like 'what chemichal do you think makes them blue?' and 'what form of asexual reproduction do you assume they use' and 'i don't think it makes sense that they'd crush on smurfette, i'd imagine their mono-sex mono-gender society wouldn't really have those concepts or well, be heterosexual for that matter' and everyone responds with 'what aere you on' (the autism spectrum) 'why are you asking me this?' (i want to here your answer) and 'it's just a cartoon' (AND SOMETIEMS YOU GOTTA ASK SCIENTIFIC QUESTIONS ABOUT CARTOONS) so I decided if I must do everything myself so be-it.
essentially I'm planning to make a very silly half video essay half my nonsense 'if i was in charge of a smurfs reboot' video. heres some of the doodles so far!
vanity's always been my favorite so i'm having a hard time convincing myself to draw some smurf other than him fndasjkfnask (Azrael has always been my second favorite lol) I'm really excited to draw more fo smurf village! mushrooms houses my beloved <3 tbh the village is def a plus for the live action films, while giving the smurfs eyelids and lashes and pecs did not work I do enjoy seeing cute fantasy mushroom village in a photorealistic style <3
anyway one very fun thing i learned about while researching is about these really pretty very epic and pog mushrooms that are native to new zealend and just the most brilliant shade of blue
these things are blue-tiful! And there are actually pigmented! (a lot of things in nature aren't actually blue and rather the structure of it refelcts light and shit to give it a blue appearance) the thing that gives em the blue pigment is a kind of 'azulene' but somehow just a brighter varient: they're so whimsical looking!
a funny thing I've found just through research is that a LOT of people aren't aware of smurfettes origin story, or thought that the origin story was from the live action films, this is so strange to me cause like ????? it's been there sense the begining comics, and theres plenty of episodes where it's mentioned
I'm also suprised by how many people seem to be fond of the new female smurfs: so I guess I'm on the unpopular side here, I've always imagined them as sorta sexless and generless, and that female smurfs (excluding artificially made ones like smurfette) just discovered and decided they preferred feminine gender expression/presentation. (i do wish i included a question asking if people as kids assumed them sexless, cause i always have)
idk I'm still working through the new cgi series and my cartoon pirating site doesn't have the second season, so maybe I'll change my mind on them

Footballers as Pokémon trainers - pt1, Messi
I decided to mash my two biggest hyperfixations together so yeah let’s just get straight into it

Lionel Messi
Messi is probably the only player who will be getting a full team of six, since he’s the greatest player ever I thought it would be fitting for him to have a full team. I based it off stuff about him. Just know that every footballer has a Cinderace as well to train with. I think Messi wouldn't be huge on Pokemon battling tbh, he definitely wouldn't be like a trainer who plays with strategy, moreso he just trusts his team to do their best despite whatever happens.
1. Espurr
Max already explained this but I’d like to expand on it…Espurr is a lot of psychic power in a small body just like Messi is a lot of talent in a tiny body lol. I think Espurr would 100% be his starter Pokémon. I also doubt Messi would evolve it because he likes it this way. But Messi is definitely a good trainer, like really good he probably uses an Everstone.
2. Gogoat
Get it? Because he’s the goat. Also Skiddo (gogoat’s previous form) reminds me a lot of young Messi, just like a strapping brash excitable individual I guess.
3. Arcanine
Arcanine reminds me of Hulk, Messi’s dog. It’s also a fire type, which I think would be native to South America because it’s a sunny, hot weather continent. Arcanine’s “hair” also reminds me of Messi’s bleach hair era so 🤷🏽♂️
4. Marshadow
Probably the only mythical/legendary I’m gonna give any player. I imagine Marshadow isn’t really “his”, but just it follows Messi around and randomly shows up at interviews and games and stuff like that. It travels in his shadow all the time and shows itself from time to time.
5. A Shiny Phantump
I feel like Messi would be a ghost type trainer, if he specialized? Theyre silent and calm like he is. Phantump feels like it would be like Marshadow, just a quiet companion for Messi who follows him around and stuff. And if you're wondering why it's shiny...well white for la scaloneta, blue for barca and red for barca as well. also I just think messi would find those colors more welcoming I guess?
6. Alolan Sandslash
This is probably Messi's main battler. It's blue and white like la Scaloneta and it can roll into a ball so it looks like a football. It's the least personality-connected which is why I think it'd be the one messi uses the most to battle. Its sharp edges also make me think of how Messi can be a killing machine on the pitch.

This'll count as a technically unpopular opinion, but I actually find that most dash events are just kinda stressful. Mostly in a very personal. 'not for me' kind of way.
It's not a moral judgement, I just personally have difficulty with it.
time constraints depend, but in a general sense, most vague stretches of time don't guarantee creativity from me; I'm chronically ill, am a bit overworked (whether it's my employer or simply myself chugging the workohol), and sometimes the mood just doesn't hit right.
Exact schedule depends too; I already kinda work 2nd shift, and so am awake for a 3rd shift/graveyard deal; you might miss when the mun/blog organizing the thing is on. So, even if you participate in general day long things, you can fomo for the high stakes/starring/determining events.
But also, it is possible for an event to be very specific and catered around the host+friends' schedule/whims; sometimes it just doesn't work out for me.
complexity, tbh. depends on the event itself, but things often have to be some level of serious, fair, balanced, etc., and they might have their own idea of that, which needs to be respected.
sometimes I'm not in the mood for that (wanna write easy, specific, or nonsensical things), or I don't feel like doing the actual 'work' especially with competitions; some days I couldn't give less a shit what I 'place' or what a judge likes. Some time periods I'm just too anarchic/chaotic/cooperative for that.
That being said, events are immensely fun and bonding if you can do them, so I suggest that you try them if you can! It can at the very least give you a feel for things, and how you want to interact with any one community!
As for dash commentary, I find it infectiously fun if you can get over the nerves about it; obviously that stuff is generally meant to be casual, but at the same time isn't required to stay that way...
i think it helps to treat it like a toy, the way a toddler does it;
pick it up if you like it. (you don't have to justify why you like it.)
chew on it the way you want. (dash full of sex comments but your muse is ace? in a real life conversation, my buddy will just dunk us. make everything about bees if that's your hyperfixation. you don't have to stay scripted IC if you're being polite ooc.)
skim if you need to, drop it if you still can't. plenty of dash commentaries have me going 'what the fuck are you two talking about?' you can find out. if you can't, oh well. you can make a new post if you want.
be as specific or vague as you wish. don't be afraid to mention names/urls, or expand/tweak the topic. you don't have to argue w/ inspiration.
however, try not to metagame unless it's crack; there are people who don't wanna share certain lore casually, but it should be pretty clear when they do so (public/private knowledge memes, bio sections, etc.)
however i am bad with names/urls so bear with me when it comes to casual asks/etc. confusing 2 muses wouldn't be the end of the world, but lmfao-
it's tempting to stay on topic. you don't gotta. late commentary is better than never.

i currently watch 18 of the hermits and am constantly stuck between wanting to watch more hermits and knowing i should probably drop a couple before i get a job again. but also like... what if i watched more anyway....
im too behind atm to actually add another pov, and i need to catch up on the life series too but like... man what if i just did it anyway. whos gonna stop me? no one. thats who. i will feed my own hyperfixation and no one can get in my way!!!!
if i do end up adding a new pov who would you recommend? i currently dont watch Xisuma, stress, false, wels, hypno, jevin, joe and doc
i also dont watch xb, but i tried to and i just cant get past the texture pack (it upsets me that i cant)
i get you so much .. idk how i have technically two jobs (although they're very much part time) and am in school full time and still somehow manage to keep up with 26 different povs or. however many it is.
out of all the people you don't watch i'd probably recommend xisuma the most, i think his videos are super easy to watch even if you havent seen a lot of his content before. he has a great balance of building/redstone/interaction with the other hermits and his episodes are typically on the shorter side but he uploads regularly. i may be biased because i really really love his content but. i think he's great
also totally understand the issue w xb's texture pack lol, it's taken like 4 years of me watching him to adjust to it and i still don't like it buuut. i like his content enough to look past it... he's such a silly guy. although i do find that with quite a lot of his episodes i end up playing them in the background like a podcast rather than paying close attention to what's happening on screen. tbh if you watch keralis and beef you probably get quite a lot of xb content anyways so i wouldn't worry too much about missing out!!
#i think watching every pov is hardest at the start of any season because that's when everyone uploads at the same time#but it's actually not that hard to keep up with as long as you don't let yourself fall too far behind#i think if i took a break for more than a couple weeks it'd be really hard to catch up#i also don't watch anything else really .. i don't have a tv or any streaming service subscriptions#i listen to podcasts and a lot of music but i basically don't watch anything other than hermitcraft#i maybe spend like.. an hour a day watching minecraft? which sounds like a lot but#a lot of people easily spend that much time watching tv or scrolling tiktok or something so i guess it's just about balance#honestly hermitcraft just brings me so much joy i would choose that over anything else i could be doing on my phone#it's also easy to watch youtube while drawing which is what i spend most of my time doing#with a different job i can understand that it'd probably be much harder#like if my job wasn't freelance or if i was writing instead of drawing. idk#asks#horsemeatposting

im SO pissed i didnt listen to believe for a fucking year bc i heard bad things about it. im never listening to anyone else's opinions again cuz THAT WAS BRILLIANT. owen was AWFUL in that btw. and i adored him in it. my fav owen is an owen who's spiraling and destructively fixated on something for selfish purposes to the point that he doesnt care who he hurts to accomplish it. he's so villain coded fhsdkfjdsk he redeems himself in the show and i love that but the audios further explore the fact that he's got such a darkness to him he SO EASILY can be pushed into destroying everything. hes constantly on the precipice of monstrosity and cruelty bc of his own hurt. it's like hes so full of rot it leaks out of him and infects others and he hates it but he cant help it. i will never get over the doctor with poison fingers oh he makes my heart ache. he's just so misguided. he's so broken.
