I'm so sorry, but I can take Cazador's voice seriously. I honestly expected him to sound like Raphael or dark and menacing. But not that. His voice actor did a great job though, I just wasn't expecting that voice.

Abbreviated xenoblade session tonight! And it might be for the best, considering how unhinged my roommate is being right out the gate.
We load up the game (Nia and Dromarch in the lead) and the first thing she says to me is "I feel like Dickson can't be my 'hear me out' guy, because he's conventionally attractive." Great start.
And then she's like "if I had to pick one character to really freak out a xenoblade fan..." *Dromarch running around on screen* "British butler tiger! I think he'd take care of me."
Also apparently the only reason she wasn't having a crush on Riki in the first game is because he's married and she isn't a homewrecker
"I'm not a furry, I swear!" Okay, keep telling yourself that
A little Blade lore drop and what my roommate takes away from it is "so could we cut open Gramps and get a core crystal?"
Yknow what Vandham's kind of real for all of that. I think I was already past his musings on power and justice and war when I started playing again but it's all honestly really good
The fact that Vandham is the one to say "hey, I know a guy who can handle your Ophion problem" makes me like. well first I'm glad that Minoth opened up at some point. but then. do I ship it? maybe in the past? idk?
My roommate started the blushy-crushy heart to heart before I could stop her and it got me on my tirade about kicking Tora into the sun. Good news is that she found a way to stop me dead in my tracks on that rant. Bad news is that she did it by saying "well, he might enjoy it"
Oh and apparently the list of "hear me outs" has gotten up to Dickson, Dromarch, and now Zanza. Joy!
"I would sleep with Dickson for the experience and Zanza for the story, but I would NOT sleep with Dromarch because he's a tiger. I want him to be my queerplatonic partner and live with me in my house"
Oh and my roommate wants to make it clear that she's very ace, we're just doing it different over here

Ok next was Mind Blowing Eargasms: Aural Sex Edition and this is definitely where I started to get a lil too high not pay attention too much and the secondhand embarrassment def kicked in lol. But anywhere, here's some thoughts (along with some crappy quality screenshots!)
Definitely not one of my favorite parts of the evening, just because of said secondhand embarrassment. However I did love hearing Link’s little squeals and whines because that’s exactly how I would imagine him to sound in real life lmaooo
Link stood SO CLOSE to Rhett the entire time it was actually insane? You’re whining and grunting and thrusting and you’re gonna be so close that sometimes your entire sides are touching? And Link put his chin on Rhett's shoulder for no reason? What the heck is up with these dudes lol
Thoughts on the mean comments defense:
I was genuinely laughing the entire time hahaha
Rhett saying “this isn’t even fun for me” when Stevie read the first mean comment was kinda cute lol
Protective/back up Rhett was so fucking funny and adorable
The way they were looking into the camera was so fucking intense lol I could barely handle it like, don’t look at me like that 😳
Link saying “You can’t get enough” and then licking his lips almost took me out
Link’s tattoo looks SO FUCKING HOT and I actually can’t handle it
Rhett laying his HEAD ON LINK’S SHOULDER while saying “it’s a symbol of love” has KILLED me and I can’t believe I missed that the first time !!!
And I also missed the comment about having sex in his living room?? And how Rhett said they cut the nest cams for that while looking so intensely at him??? What the everloving HECK??
And then Rhett putting his hand on Link's shoulder and leaving it there until he bent down to get his jacket 😩

The whole thing was so cute and wholesome despite the point being to read a mean comment to Link? I feel like Rhett was probably super concerned about it not tanking Link's mood but they both did such a great job making it funny and yeah, this is one of my fave lil moments of the night.
Also, look how cute Link looked right after he put on his jacket and collected himself, lookin all proud of himself 😂:
