Hey there! You already know I love love LOVE your writing. I never really have ideas to make requests but I feel like you’d really make this one special 🥺 Whenever you can get to it, I’d love a sort of Rise Leo x female insomniac reader type thing.

I’m an incredibly light and anxious sleeper and being woken up by the littlest thing at 3 AM like a phone notification or noise/talking right outside my door–or literally just not being able to stay asleep–and then not being able to fall back asleep no matter what despite being exhausted is the most frustrating thing… And when I say frustrating I really do sometimes mean like, tears in my eyes, pull my hair out, feeling the most untapped anger at a whole night of sleep being ruined by one lil thing, lol

I was wondering how you think Leo would help coax a restless sleeper back to a peaceful slumber with him? Ig it doesn’t hurt he’s such an insomniac too 😂

And then, after sweeping her off of her feet, portaling us both into the lair, I’ll place her back down. Dip my totally unnecessary yet necessary sunglasses for heart fluttering effects and then pull back the curtain to my humble abode. Then-

“Whatcha writing?” Michelangelo was a tad to close and Leonardo had been so observed in said writing that he hadn’t heard his little brother approach. “What writing?!” Leo squawked as he crumbled up the paper as fast as possible. He was up standing and leaning against his desk, desperately trying to seem nonchalant. Mikey gave him a once over, one brow bone raising.

“Okay you got me. I was journaling my thoughts like you suggested!” Leo spoke quietly, and lied smoothly. There was no way he was letting any of his brothers, yes even darling Angelo, that he was planning a sleepover. No one could know. “Really?!” Mikey beamed, happy to hear his advice being followed. “Really really!” Leo cheesed, a smidge of guilt finding its way in as Mikey gave him a thumbs up and encouraged him to continue. “If you ever want to take it to the next step just let me know! We can talk about what you write down if you feel comfortable!!” With that Mikey departed, a skip in his step.

Leo counted down to five, then to ten just to be safe. And wouldn’t you know it at second seven Mikey peered his head through the curtains. “Yes?” Leo said, it was his turn to raise a brow bone. “Pizza later? We gotta do the rock-paper-scissors ritual to see who has to go pick it up.” Leo replied swiftly, “I’ll be there just uh- shoot me a text or something. I might be too concentrated on my writing again!~” with that Mikey gave a tiny salute and disappeared behind the curtain once more.

Another ten second countdown and Leo finally allowed himself to crash into his chair. “Too close…” he murmured to himself as he shook his head. His fist unfurled and a ball of paper revealed itself. He uncrumbled it as best he could, smoothing it out with his hand until the crinkles were bearable. “Now where was I?” Pencil in his three fingered hand, he tapped his chin with the eraser as he read over what was already written. For the life of him he couldn’t continue the thought and it frustrated him so much that the paper was crumbled and thrown into the trash bin next to his desk.

Screw it! He was better coming up with stuff on the fly anyways. What was the point in micromanaging like someone he knew when the unexpected was bound to happen. After tidying up his room, reading a comic or two, eating a slice or four from the pizza he didn’t have to go pick up (Leo losing? Hah unheard of!), he finally got the text he had been waiting all night for.

You had been in the middle of typing back a snarky reply when you saw a blue flash from your peripheral. You stopped typing and put your phone away as you turned to see him, in a grand pose of course. “Your portal awaits!” He smiled. “Well hiya Lee, nice to see you too, how was your day?” You mused as you strolled his way, being taken by complete surprise as he lifted you up, sleepover bag and all, bridal style. “Oh Y/n, we know each other too well for such pleasantries! But if I must, Hi beautiful~ how boring was your day without me?” Leo walked into the portal and the next second he was back in his room. Ack?! It was supposed to portal him right outside of his room!

He suppressed a groan, somewhat dismayed that he couldn’t do his grand reveal like he had thought up. “Just as you said, it dragged by! You can put me down now you goof!” You laughed, taking in his room for the first time in person. “Yeah I had a whole, outfit and grand entrance planned but tada! Welcome to my humble abode.” He gave you jazz hands. “Your portal entrance was grand enough” you smiled sweetly, he couldn’t let go of all the theatrics for even a moment!

He was giving you a detailed room tour, though you had to remind him he didn’t have to show you every single comic he had collected since mutation. The two do you settled onto his bed, talking more in depth about the day or anything else that crossed both your minds. The night carried on like usual, the only difference that this sleepover was at his place instead of yours. Movie after movie, silly jokes, tiktok showcasing, shared snacks. It was perfect. Leo let out a yawn and a minute later you caught it too. “Should we call it a night?” He asked already reaching over to flick off the strung up lights. “We can try, I don’t know if I’ll be able to sleep just yet,” you sighed and Leo gave you a knowing nod.

He knew it took you quite some time to fall asleep, and then be able to stay that way was an even harder challenge. He could relate, he had probably had a sleeping disorder with how irregular he passed out. “No harm in trying, come here,” he opened up his arms for you to snuggle up under the covers with him. Once situated he was pressing soft kisses into your temple, murmuring how happy he was that you came over, saying how pretty you were, he considered himself a lucky turtle. As sweet as he was being, it didn’t help your case with trying to sleep, you were a blushing mess, heart pounding at his sugary words.

You turned in his embrace, and he looked down into your eyes. “Leo!” You half whined, and he chuckled kissing your lips this time before saying, “Right right, sleep time!” His chin nuzzled the top of your head as you pressed a cheek into his plastron. It wasn’t complete silence since you were so close you could hear every breath he took, but the steady rhythm helped you relax and you slipped into a light sleep.

You woke up an hour later, surprised to have fallen asleep so quickly, but the astonishment was dashed when you realized quite quickly you weren’t falling back asleep. It was getting kind of stuffy pressed against Leo now so you tried to pull away without waking him. You stuck one leg out of the covers trying to cool down. You turned so you were lying on your back. Then you tried your stomach. Nothing was working and you felt time dragging on. The night have been perfect and why did your insomnia have to come and ruin it?!

You took in a deep breath, trying to not get too frustrated as you tried other remedies. Breathing in and out deeply. Letting your thoughts wander. Coming up with random scenarios. Trying to remember fuzzy dreams. Counting sheep for pete’s sake! Your breathing hitched as you looked over to Leo, you didn’t want to wake him, but maybe it was just better to go home. No! You shook your head and the hot tears started to fall. You covered your mouth with a shaky hand, blinking rapidly to get rid of the tears.

“Y/n?” Leo murmured, feeling the empty space where you had been cuddled next to him. You didn’t think you were ready to talk yet, in fact you were pretty certain you’d sob out his name. His eyes opened at your silence, and then he was quickly sitting up when he saw your body shake from quieted crying. “What’s wrong baby?” His hands went out petting your hair and then rubbing those salty tears away. “Sorry Leo I’m just so frustrated,” you managed to get out. The tears didn’t seem like they were stopping despite his efforts.

He waited for you to explain, not wanting to assume. Leo hoped he hadn’t woken you somehow. “I was sleeping just fine but, n-now I can’t get back to sleep. I tried everything, I even took melatonin before coming here!” You blew out a breath. Utterly exhausted having gotten so worked up emotionally yet sleep still evaded you. “Lemme help, I got you to sleep before didn’t I?” Your eyes were big and glassy, the tears subsiding finally. You nodded and wondered what he would try, you really had tried everything!

“Do you wanna cuddle or is it too hot?” He asked gently, not wanting to crowd you since you had moved away. “It’s a little hot,” you confessed meekly, so instead of pulling you to him, Leo reached out his hand, finding yours and started to rub his thumb over the top soothingly. It felt nice, you closed your eyes wondering if this might work. But it didn’t stop there, Leo started to sing, he had a beautiful voice, you always thought it was quite funny he wanted to be the guitarist in the band with his brothers.

The words melted into him just humming. You gravitated just a tad closer to Leo, getting comfortable once more, his thumb still rubbing shapes into your skin. It didn’t happen instantly but you fell asleep and Leo couldn’t help his smile. Twice in one night, he was on a roll! Maybe he could be your new melatonin. His thumb spelled out, i-love-you before he finally drew his hand back. He hoped you would be able to sleep throughout the rest of the night, but even if you woke up again, or multiple times more, he’d help you go back to sleep. <3

We all see that she even tries to leave behind and ignore the films that may not do well. Maybe she has changed and improved. She is in a relationship with a man who is more experienced. Both in life and at work. She may have learned a lot from Chris. And she is trying to get better...//

Margs here, late night rant. (Post at your own discretion, friend). Uhhhhh. What is this? Are you forgetting MHGTP and her peak show WN? MH did well in getting attention for fashion/costuming. WN she was the lead character who was supposed to be a bad ass. While they might not have been critical successes, she failed to truly invest in the projects as far as overall promotion. Sure there are interviews, one premiere- but she dropped these projects like a bad habit …and the fact…the glaring fact that her coworkers were happy to put the time into it made a big difference. It comes off as selfish and entitled from her side. Idk if the goal is to just…stop acting…..but if it’s to learn from Chris, I’ve got some bad news. He didn’t want to do cap. He doesn’t want to direct anymore. (We think). He doesn’t want to produce. He turned down really good roles in favor of mediocre ones…and for the money. If it’s to stop acting…well that’s funny too, bc remember when Chris was like “wah wah if I didn’t act, idk WHAT I would do” 😂😂🤷🏻‍♀️sounds like he true love has helped him really explore his potential.

I really fail to see where she’s getting better. She doesn’t invest in the people that invest in her (and I mean from a public front. Which just seems odd). Why even have a dumb Instagram if all you’re going to do is delete negative comments about yourself and let your bf do all the heavy lifting….so you can benefit by looking good? What did she learn? Not to contribute bc she’s garbage? You notice she’s v concerned with how things look. I won’t shame a photoshopped waist. Who GAF. but defending her moms age (when no one asked her to), doubling down re: yoga certificate (when no one asked her to), attempting to post her noods then getting an article about it (that no one saw), asking her FANS. HER. FANS to take down pics she’s not happy with, having her own mother claiming her shutting down IG was to improve things (and it’s not true) like…for someone who is learning….she’s awful concerned with how she’s perceived, but to like an odd level in my opinion. Trust me when she grows up and her balls drop, she won’t GAF. But to say she’s learning and growing i just 😂 did alba just write her own GD ask so we can take her seriously?

**I realize me writing this dissertation means I’m paying attention in any case. But don’t get it twisted. I am a disgusted fan, who is scooting out the door So 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

I really love your late night rant (when I'm having lunch 😅). What really gets me is how she treated her fans. Her fans spent money on her and the only thing she could do was posting a tweet. And this this was not long time ago - "trying to get better" my ass 🙄

aaaaaah, i agree with what you said re 911 not showing us shit! sm of the show is "tell, don't show", and it's worse because of it. another thing that also came out of the blue is eddie apparently having regular poker nights with other people, even going as far as calling them another type of "family"! one of those people being captain mehta, who was there when eddie was shot! nobody else think that maybe that would have been important for us to experience with eddie? plus, idk, poker is smth you usually do at night ig bc it's accompanied with drinking? so who was babysitting chris all the times eddie went out? and why did buck apparently not know a single thing about this? sorry, i'd tell my friends-turned-family that i'm regularly playing poker? not like it's smth eddie has to be ashamed of?? 😂😂 it's this weird writing style that makes it seem like the characters aren't even that close (cuz normal people talk, especially when something new is going on in their lives, especially in a group who is supposedly as close as the 118), or forces me to readjust a lot of my knowledge about the characters retrospectively all the damn time fdhjdshfks; the show could simply show us when something new happens when it actually happens so that we can see things unfold with our own eyes instead of getting told stuff 6 months down the line (timeline-wise). OTL

oh don't even get me started on the tell and not show. we know why there was no hint of eddie playing poker before. it's because KR thinks of these things on the spot with no consideration for anything that's come before or what's going to come after. watch eddie at some point need to have an aspect of poker explained to him because KR will have forgotten that she made him a regular player. it was to serve buck's storyline after all.

and the golf thing is the same. has eddie ever seemed like someone who would play golf? with his limited free time in between working 24 hours shifts and being a single dad, he goes and plays golf? alone? send him to a batting cage, he can try and pick up woman there too, but at least it would have made sense as a healthy stress relief, hitting a ball instead of people.

i wouldn't be surprised if KR forgot that Mehta was there when eddie got shot, he was just a familiar face to round out the table. could have made some connecting comment about both buck and eddie dying/almost dying, but nope. can't acknowledge eddie's trauma without it being to service buck's story or set up another hetero love plot.

but yeah, the characters never talk anymore, except when needed to set up a storyline with the 500th guest star, then they've been having gab fests off screen the whole time, what do you mean you couldn't tell?

truly can't wait for the finale to air so i can put out my last bit of salt and most likely part ways with this show. (i'm not unfollowing everyone, so i'll listen up when s7 airs and see if it's even worth putting on in the background, but i def won't be rushing to download it every week)

My honest opinion of each NRC student [TWST].

Riddle: After his overblot, he turned into a really cool guy. I think that he should get some therapy and learn to say no to his mom. 6/10

Trey: Very chill; probably the only normal one of the Heartslaybul group. He's like that 'mom' friend of the friend group who gives everyone food and is generally nice. 7/10

Cater: I love you 😊 Very interesting personality, I feel like I could see him becoming a very popular influencer in the future. Very funny and his reactions to everything are priceless. Questionable taste in tags. 8/10

Ace: Honestly, not a fan. Never really liked the chaotic prankster types. 1/10

Deuce: Poor dude just trying to vibe but gets yanked into Ace's shenanigans. Overall not too bad. 3/10

Leona: Um... I don't exactly hate him but I'm not a huge fan. I get the sleeping part, though. I like sleeping too. 4/10

Ruggie: Pretty neutral. He's funny and I don't really have a problem with him. He's a bit annoying in the main story, but I can overlook that. 5/10

Jack: Very nice! He has very high morals and is very trustworthy. I feel like if I told him a super personal secret, he'd take it with him to the grave. 7/10

Azul: Neutral. I'm not the biggest fan of him, but I feel bad for him a bit because of his backstory. Also, seek therapy, Azul. 4/10

Jade: He's okay. A bit neutral but leaning toward okay. Not much of an opinion here. His obsession with mushrooms in funny. 5/10

Floyd: He'd so funny without even trying, I like him. Overall, he makes me laugh 👍 7/10

Kalim: Omg my baby, protect him 🥺 He's an absolute ball of sunshine and can do no wrong. I love this guy sm (second favorite). 10/10

Jamil: Okay, I can understand his pov, but he still betrayed Kalim, so neutral. I don't dislike him. 5/10

Vil: I'll be honest. At first, I didn't really like him, but he's chill now. He's okay in my book. 7/10

Rook: ... He creeps me out, I won't lie. I mean, there's nothing wrong with his personality ig, but the fact that he could just be watching me at any time and I wouldn't know... I'll be generous and make him neutral. 4/10

Epel: He's cool. He's that one kid who will beat your ass if you say anything about his height 😂 Also, was I the only one who didn't think he was a girl? I've been catfished by too many animes, you can't trick me anymore. 6/10

Idia: Perfect. Marry me 🥺 I love this dude. He's so funny not even trying and his personality is just 🤌 10/10

Ortho: He's so adorable and the way he was ready to blow up NRC for Idia 😭 But like, he's so cute. 10/10

Malleus: Okay, don't hate me, but slightly overrated. Don't get me wrong, I still like him, he's cool, but slightly overrated. I'm gonna get torn to shreds because of this. 5/10

Lilia: Very funny, interesting personality and just overall character type. We love found parents 🫢 7/10

Silver: Very chill, we would vibe. He's similar to Jack (high morals). Bonus point because animals like him. 7/10

Sebek: I won't lie, it kind of feels like 80% of his whole character is just following Malleus around, praising him, and shouting a lot. I'm not a fan of loud noises. Plus, his character just seems a bit boring. 3/10

Grim (Bonus): Don't like. Causes a lot of problems for you in-game and overall personality grates on me. Annoying and demanding. Yes, he's a cat(?) but the cuteness isn't worth it. But I will give a bonus point because of cat-like form. 1/10

Review Proper

Just something about this is weird. The manga’s pretty fluid on its own, but it’s kinda, uhh, choppy? in the BLCD. Although I’m not sure if Smoky Nectar’s a serious manga with some comedy here and there, 50:50 serious and comedy, or is a comedy with some serious moments... it kinda doesn’t work in the BLCD. I mean, SatoTaku and Junya did well during the serious parts, but they seem to stumble during the comedy or the parts that lead to the comedic moments. Maybe the comedy just doesn’t transition well into the audio adaptation. *shrugs*

Let’s jump straight into the voice work, shall we?

I was quite interested in listening to this ‘cause yo??? Juujin bottoms??? If Daath and Kai were in these tones in Kemonohito, I would ship them 100% lmao, but then, uhh, idk, Junya was kind of a mess here. We’ll get to SatoTaku later, but I feel like they didn’t record this together. I do not like how Junya drags his moans on during their bedroom Redcross donations because he sounds very out of sync with SatoTaku’s ministrations (this is only very obvious in the first, though). I think he also has a hard time expressing the deadpan humor Mitsuru has. Sometimes my mind wanders off and starts having thoughts of either Reio, Ban, or Shouhei potentially being a better option for Mitsuru. That might just be my other issue with Junya. He was a bit too low for Mitsuru. I feel like if he was in a higher register, then he would’ve been able to express Mitsuru’s feelings better.

Now, as for SatoTaku, the man wasn’t free of my suspicions either. SatoTaku was a little too smooth to match Anna’s equally deadpan humor. I’m not saying that SatoTaku can’t comedy ‘cause sis you’ve heard Sonna ni, right??? But as compared to Anna, Shinobu’s more dynamic a character. Niyama and Ginger also gave the cast time to prepare before a big change in moods. Huh, I’m starting to think that this is the same thing that went down in Takasaki Bosco’s Torokeru Kuchibiru. I feel like Makonyan or Ono Yuuki would’ve done this better. But I know, I FUCKING KNOW, why Fifth Avenue got SatoTaku for this.

Thanks to Fifth Avenue, I know have my ringtone set to SatoTaku saying “erro” in the Mini Drama on repeat.

Goddamn I fucking flatlined on that one. I wasn’t really expecting much from the Mini Dramas, so thanks. 👍

Anyway, I also have to say that the sound effects as well as the bgms suck balls lmao. FIFTH AVENUE PLS. The main piano bgm also starts and ends in random places. There was also this part where Anna jumps off from a fucking building to the floor on the ground, making a table flip. Like we all know how a table sounds like flipped, right??? It definitely won’t sound like a chair shaking! 😂 I don’t think Fifth Avenue even cared at that point.

This was actually a pretty decent adaptation despite the many issues I have with it. It’s pretty faithful to the manga too, although I would recommend reading the manga once before ‘cause you wouldn’t know what they were doing in real time without the visual cues. This is an action bl too, after all. If you’re looking for another vampire (the “biter” thing also threw me off a bit, but the “nectar” concept wouldn’t survive without ig) bl, I raise you Yuri Azuru’s Fujitsu de Fumou na Koi no Kami-kon starring Okitsu and Egu. That one’s a little disappointing on the action front, but it was a good vampire bl nontheless. Okitsu’s Lark was also a good comedic/spontaneous type, so that’s good vampire + comedy!

i came across this ask which ill give my first shot at answering in my own way cause im a spurs fan! and girl all i can say is i wish there was more tea to report on 😭😭 not to say that theres zero drama going down in san antonio.. ive always asked myself: theres so much nba tea floating around but so little on my guys?? but now i understand that drama doesnt happen as regularly bc gregg popovich has more control over these niggas off the court than you would expect. in other teams its not really a common thing for coaches to hold players accountable for non basketball related things but id compare pop/the organization to a teacher/school because in a way they operate as figures of authority (similar to college-style basketball). its tougher to find spurs drama since he keeps the younger guys on a tighter leash after learning the hard way from tim duncans messy ass divorce/tony parkers cheating scandal but i assure you tea is there even tho its harder to find. i do agree with anon that sochan and vassell look like hoes but idk if we'll ever get to know that (unproven rn) side of them aside from speculation by who they follow on insta. including jeremy whos the most active on socials, all of them trained to move in silence + being a small market + tight pr means less reports but yes there is some tea and hottakes id like to spill although its not much

Y’all I really should’ve left Sponsor where I left him. I last remembered telling y’all how he started putting out the idea of a threesome. I honestly have no idea. I knew he had a gf, but I didn't know who she was and I wasn't going to look into it.

I'm not really worried about what Matt has to say. I don't hide this blog and if he does mention me, it'll just attract people here. LOL

But I don't really know much about him. After watching the interview with him and Folio, he kind of gives me the impression that he's one of those guys that thinks he knows best. He also makes it seem like he's a little too serious, like just one of those guys you have to tell to lighten up often lol.

Other than that though, he seems like a pretty good dude. I like that he wants to open up a space for injured animals. I also dig his dragon ball tattoo.

Judging by the IG stories from the Marsstore, there were 25 people at the listening party, and it looked like he did 2 Zoom meetings. So that makes 50 people - 2 people who won entry to the listening party 🤔That's hardly sold out ?!? How many bundles did they claim were so exclusive?300? Can't remember now. Didn't the sadly sold out Military Box set also include entry to the listening party? And these were limited to 125, weren't they? How many zooms did he have to do? What happens, by the way, with the people buying the Box set now or after the 15th? Do they get a discount because no pre-listening? I'm confused here! Something doesn't add up here like usually.

So…a monster, a Keyblade Master, and an idol show up together to a con~

RECAP: Day 1 of @Otafest 2023 was fantastic, even after having an emotional morning at polarprincecosplays (IG)’ Memorial in the Manga Library! I’m glad that I was able to be with Lockheart Cosplay when we first went to the Memorial. We got to support each other through our loss of our dear friend. 🫂 I was also the one who brought the Galarian Ponyta figurine and the floral arrangement with the Poké Balls.

For the first time ever, someone came up to me in Exhibitor Hall, saying that they had followed me since they were young and that their sibling was on the Otafest server, who saw some of my posts in there. Thanks again for the small yet memorable encounter! 🥺😊💜 Also, sorry if I had seemed like an awkward bean, being I never expected someone to come up to me like that. 🙈 It took me by surprise, that’s for sure!

I was able to see/meet some old friends (including a former classmate of mine), one of the cosplay guests, one of the English voice actors, and some new faces. 😊💜 Photos from some of those meetings will be posted later!

Early this morning I had a strange vision. I saw LeBron in his apartment and he had a black duffle bag. I then saw him reach over and grab a trophy placing it inside the bag as you would your workout sneakers 🏆 😂

I have tried to do some research on what happens to a trophy after winning a championship and where it goes. Does everyone get a chance to take it home? Idk 🤷🏾‍♀️😂 but I couldn’t find much. It’s all too saturated with irrelevant info.

Day Seven - Fushimi Inari and Nara

13th November 2022

I was so excited to take Ben to the Fushimi Inari Shrines today, but. It is RAINING! Like, bucketing down. No stopping, and it was BUSY at the shrine. There were people everywhere. So, standing inside the shrine, while getting dripped on by umbrellas. Not ideal. But!! The rain made for the most amazing sounds and it was really relaxing, and tranquil. I would do it all over again straight away.

We hiked as far as the "top before it becomes hard" and decided, since we have more to do today, lets not over do it... so we walked back down. It wasnt busy any more and it was lovely walking through the temples with the rain falling and the leaves. Its magical. We even got to see a shrine cat again (I saw a bunch there last time hehe).. he was taking refuge in a shrine out of the rain. Cute baby!

Walking back through the market area, we grabbed some street food. A bacon wrapped rice ball, which was amazing -- we ate it while waiting for the train to Nara (and I dried my socks off...)

When we got to Nara, the rain had slowed down, almost stopped. The deer were SO CUTE! This time we bought some of the senbei crackers to feed them. There was one that ambushed me and wouldn't leave me alone. He legit butted me! We spent a few hours walking aimlessly through Nara now it wasnt raining any more. Of course, always hunting for the next food stop -- and I was trying to find better shoes/socks now too.

I really wish I had packed better shoes... not for the fact we did a LOT of steps today, but it also rained ALL DAY. My feet were drenched for the whole day. Lucky, Ben is a smart cookie -- and Japan are equipped with everything... our hotel room had A SHOE DRYER! YES!

We found a brewery in Nara and had pizza, but it wasn't even CLOSE to as good as the pizza at Salvatore's Grill. So it was decided that before we leave Kyoto, we were going there for our last dinner. We did some shopping at the Disney Store and Pokemon Centre, as a ritual, I have to visit them all. Then got the quattro formaggi pizza and the truffle carbonara and the Bolognese pasta this time. Still. Incredible. 10/10 would go back JUST to have that truffle carbonara again.

Unfortunately, the weather was a bit on the wetter side today. It rained all day and we got wet feet walking up the Fushimi Inari Shrine which made for a really uncomfortable afternoon but that didn’t take away from the magic of hearing the sound of the rain in the temples and seeing the autumn leaves in red and yellow.

Nara was awesome. The rain slowed down a bit, so we were able to enjoy the afternoon without being tethered to an umbrella. The deer are so peaceful and cute. Even if one tried to eat Ben’s shirt. 😂

Tomorrow we are off to camp at one of the lakes near Mount Fuji. ⛩️"
