Can I take a wild swing at your Childhood friends AU?
I've had a few people reach out and ask if they can write stuff about that AU (or just straight up say they're going to take it without asking, haha..) so I'm gonna answer this one publicly as a blanket answer that's basically "yes"!
I don't own the concept of a childhood friends AU and I'm sure I'm not the first person to think about Usopp & Sanji meeting when they were young, so already I don't feel right telling people they can't take inspo from my AU. And also, I'd love to read more people's takes and interpretations on this AU and sanuso in general!
Sometimes I can be precious about my concepts in case I'd like to work them into my own comics/stories but I think this one is fair game! If you take direct inspiration from my work in your fic then I would appreciate credit/a link back, but like I said, I can't really claim ownership over such a broad concept.
Let me know if you publish it though so I can read it!

Heya^^ could we get some romantic headcanons about kaiser, shidou and isagi having a artist/painter prodigy s/o?
Of course you can exclude anyone if it's too much! Anyways I hope you'll have a wonderful day or night and don't forget to hydrate^^
Notes: Hellooo! First request, I'm so happy oh my gosh. I had some trouble so I'll do the rest in separate parts, hope you don't mind!! 41°C here it's so hot omg. You stay safe and hydrated too!! Also sorry it's messy, I'm still trying to improve and I hope you'll like this! 😭
Pairing: Isagi Yoichi x Reader
Type: Headcanons
Genre: Fluff, Romance
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Isagi Yoichi with an Art Prodigy S/O ♡︎
Tumblr media
He leaves you for the damn ball.
JOKE.. I'M JOKING GUYS..
Would be the most understanding and considerate among the three. I'm not sure if Yoichi will actually understand, but he's still super supportive and would listen to you and assist you when you need any help or company.
Dates with him are so cozy and peaceful.
He'd stay in an art studio or any room at all and sketch and paint with you all day long.
I think he'd be the type to try and draw you flowers or try to make you (+ him TOGETHER!!)
He'd be over the moon if you agreed to craft anything matching him. Something simple like paper rings, matching pins or brooches, and drawings of each other!!
Would put a drawing you made or a printed pic of you in his clear case.
His phone would be you-themed. Just you, him and your work.
Bonus: If you met as schoolmates or before Blue Lock, he'd try to make small silly doodles for you in class, and if you handed him any doodles, he'd sometimes cut them and place them in his ID case or hang them in his locker and use some of them as bookmarks.
Takes you shopping (would definitely randomly buy Art supplies that caught his eye and give them to you) or anywhere at all!!
His favourite place to stay would probably be in a café or restaurant that isn't too fancy, just somewhere with cute, homey vibes and a picturesque view.
He's TRYING to keep up with you when you invite him to paint together.. (Keyword: He's trying his best.) It definitely isn't the best thing out there but A for effort.
Tbh he always improves so quickly it's scary and makes you envious and proud sometimes..
If it bothers you and he notices, he'd act more clueless on purpose and would let you just guide him??
HAS A SEPARATE SKETCH BOOK WHERE HE KEEPS HIS DRAWINGS OF YOU!!
Made a little scrapbook dedicated to the 2 of u <3
He really REAAALLY admires you and your work.
In his eyes, you and your work are the best there are aside from soccer and being the best striker there is. He could stare at your papers and canvases hung up or scattered all day, admiring each stroke and line, even the finest ones, and looking at each shaded and highlighted area in awe.
His deep blue eyes shine so brightly when they meet your paintings and illustrations, yet no other sea of stars could replicate the shine seen in his gaze when completely in awe.  In awe of you.
When you're experiencing any artblocks or frustrations regarding it, he'd be your number one helper.
If it's a better environment and inspiration you need, he'd immediately try to take you places and show you works that you've made before for more inspo. Would try taking you to a soccer field or any open area outdoors too.
Barely knows what he's doing but he's got the spirit guys!!
During hard times, he'd be the first to go by your side and help you.
Would try to be the one to pull you out when all the stress and expectations swallow you whole (Again he's TRYING but all his attempts are most likely clumsy and slightly flawed..)

୨♡୧ UNDER THE FESTIVAL LIGHTS — bakugo katsuki x f!reader. 1.6 wc. sfw. fluff. royalty au. knight!bakugo and princess!reader. inspired by the floating lights scene in tangled.
Tumblr media
the air beyond the castle walls feels lighter, less stifling, as you inhale it through your nose. it isn't often that you find yourself in town and away from the restrictions put on you by your parents—and alone, at that. maybe the fact that you were given strict instructions to not leave the castle today is what makes it so liberating.
pulling the hood of your cloak over your face, you start down the main road. the path is bustling with people—small children chasing after one another, young girls twirling to show off their festival attire, and more vendors lined up than you can count. you imagine that every other stand is selling lanterns in addition to their regular inventory.
your eyes wander between each of them in search of a booth that has one in your favorite color but before you can get a good look at any, something is blocking your way. something tall, metal, and pointed at the tip—it's a spear. you sigh at the sight. without even looking at the hand attached to the body that wields it, you're positive you know who it is.
"i have to give it to you," a deep, familiar voice starts. the spear is lifted from the ground and replaced by a person, that being the knight assigned to you—katsuki. "you made it pretty far this time, princess."
"why are you here?" you ask, exasperation lacing your voice as your eyes shift to see if the man's presence is earning you any stares. the entire point of your cloak was to remain hidden, to not look like the princess of the kingdom. having a highly regarded knight speak to you so casually seems like it would be enough to blow your cover.
"i should be the one asking you that," he retorts. his carnelian eyes bore down into you with a hard stare. you stopped finding it intimidating a long time ago. "i thought your parents made it clear that you weren't to attend."
you cross your arms and groan. of course you were aware of your parents' wishes, they had spent nearly the whole day reminding you that you did not have their permission to leave the castle to go to the annual festival of lights. you met their demands with grumbled words of understanding that you had no intention of sticking to.
sneaking out had been risky but you were sure that by the time you made it past the gates, you would have enough time to see the lanterns before someone was sent to retrieve you. it seemed as though your absence was noticed far sooner than you anticipated, if bakugo's presence was any evidence.
"come on, then. i'm taking you back." katsuki's fingers close around your arm as he begins, presumably, to where he left his horse.
"wait!" you plead with him in a hushed tone, careful to not draw any unwanted attention. begging isn't very becoming of you, but since you put in so much effort to get here, and because it's him, you meet bakugo's eye with a stare that you're sure is brimming with desperation. "please let me stay a while. you of all people know that it's been my dream to be a part of this."
for a split second, katsuki's resolve wavers. for a moment, he doesn't see the princess; he sees the girl he grew up with, the one who he considered a friend before royalty. he quickly clears the thought from his head, remembering that he was sent here with specific commands—ones that didn't involve personal feelings. "i was ordered to find you and take you home."
"can't you just tell a little white lie and say that it took you a while?" bakugo clicks his tongue at your continued attempt to persuade him. you pay his subtle show of annoyance little mind when speaking your next words. "it's almost dark. they'll be letting them go any minute now. i swear we won't be here long."
he's getting ready to repeat himself when he catches sight of the expression painted on your face. it's not the grin you wear when you're poking fun at him or the frown you sport when he does the same. it's one that toes the line between hopeful and dejected. a sparkle of optimism glimmers in your glassy eyes but the smile pulling at your lips looks as though you've already accepted defeat. katsuki kicks himself for being at your mercy. he hopes he won't regret this. "ten minutes. if they don't start in ten minutes, we're leaving."
you gasp and nod your head enthusiastically. "deal!"
the joy that lights up your eyes is brighter than any lantern, katsuki thinks. maybe it's selfish and a little unprofessional, but he's glad he didn't deprive himself of the image before him. it's rare to see you express such delight these days.
"i have to go buy a lantern." you take a step back and gesture to the endless stalls set up alongside the road. "you stay here."
the skin between bakugo's eyebrows creases with a frown. "absolutely not."
"people will recognize me if you're tailing after me," you try to tell him but you know how seriously katsuki takes his duties as your guard. it's a miracle he isn't dragging you back to the castle. you know now that he's found you, he isn't willing to let you out of his sight.
you figure that since he is going against direct orders by allowing you to stay, you can meet him in the middle.
"fine, you can come with me." you point an accusing finger at his armored chest. "just keep your distance and try not to make it obvious, please."
he breathes out a laugh at your demand. "as you wish, your highness."
despite bakugo's interruption, the buzzing atmosphere of the town persists. the crowds are thick and navigating them as you go from booth to booth is a new experience. you're used to people clearing the way for you. as strange as it may sound, bumping shoulders with the masses is oddly exhilarating. it makes you feel as though you aren't some untouchable, fragile being. for the first time in a long time, you don't feel like the princess; you just feel like yourself.
katsuki can see it in the way you easily converse with the vendors and offer kind smiles to the children who accidentally knock into you. the practiced poise you've been carrying yourself with since adolescence is slipping. he's sure it'll be back by the time the two of you return to the castle, so katsuki decides to enjoy the glimpse of this you and your unbridled excitement while he can.
you think there are around five minutes left on your clock by the time you've acquired a lantern and begin to look for a somewhat secluded spot to light it and let it go. a patch of grass near the water catches your eye and you point it out to bakugo before starting toward the site.
your dress bunches as you sit on your calves and you're sure that the damp earth with leave stains on the fabric but it's the least of your concerns. you pat the space next to you in a silent gesture for the knight to sit. he does, although, he sits in the opposite direction with his back to the water so that he's facing the town.
you fumble with the pack of matches you bought in addition to your lantern in an effort to get one of the wooden sticks out quickly. when you're finally able to pluck one out from the rest, you strike it on the side of the box, the red tip turning dark as the flame erupts. as you bring the fire to the wick of the candle housed within the lantern, you ask your companion, "does it look like they're starting?"
bakugo's eyes flit up to the darkened sky in search of any lights. he's about to tell you no when the first one appears, slowly and lazily drifting through the air. another follows and then two before he loses count of the glowing lights. "they are."
you're tempted to turn around so that you can see them while you wave out the flame but before you can, your gaze stops at the water. a reflection of the lanterns in the sky glistens on the soft blue waves. you couldn't fight the smile growing on your lips even if you tried.
over his shoulder, katsuki watches you take in the sight reflected on the water. he notices that you haven't let your lantern go yet.
"aren't you going to let yours go?" he asks.
you look down to your hands as though you had forgotten about it—and with the view ahead of you, part of you had. the lantern is light in the palms, so much so that you have to hold it down to be sure it doesn't sail away before you're ready. you take a moment to give it one last look before you tentatively release your grasp on it.
the wind picks up the lantern and carries it through the brisk evening air. you follow the path it takes as it soars through the sky, joining others like it on their journey to who knows where. the image is one you've only ever seen from the balcony of your bedroom. it's different being so close to the beauty and having contributed to it yourself.
you turn to look at katsuki over your shoulder. his vermilion gaze is already locked on you. another smile, a real, genuine one, stretches across your lips. you hadn't planned on it, but you're glad that you were able to spend this moment with bakugo. "isn't it so pretty?"
katsuki hums in agreement, although, he wonders if you know that he means you.

A Guide to Navel Pleasure Part 3: Partner Play
Hiya!
It's all well and good making yourself bite your pillow playing with your own belly button, but what about the fateful day you find yourself about to indulge in a totally different person's navel?
FEAR NOT!
I have returned from the shadows to give you some ideas for how to make that special someone reach heaven through their belly button. Remember, this is all about COMMUNICATION and understanding. What's written here is largely subjective to my own belly button, so if something doesn't work don't worry! It's just as fun experimenting with belly buttons.
Firstly, you two need to get in the mood...
PART 1: LETS GET READY-READY
- If you plan on switching roles, make sure both of you are wearing appropriate belly button clothing. Otherwise, ensure your sub is dressed in something that fully exposes their tummy and belly button.
- Have a good, long discussion about your belly buttons and what works best in a solo environment. Do they have an innie or an outie? Do they enjoy a little bit of pain? Can they navelgasm? Are they comfortable with any other supplementary play (like nipples?).
- Have a photoshoot! Like I said in the last post, taking pictures of your belly button sets the mood in a uniquely sexy way. Get all their good angles, take close-ups, point out on the photos where you're going to ravish them...
Hot and bothered? Good. Grab a pen, it's doodling time <3.
PART 2: SPELLING BEE
I got inspired for this technique @buttonpics, and it's feels insanely good. You can do this one solo too, but doing it with a partner adds a whole other dimension, as you'll see.
- Lie your sub down, their belly button exposed and their knot ready.
- Now, softly plant the pen on their chest, letting them feel the cool point, and start to gently glide it down their tummy. When you reach their navel, skirt AROUND it slowly and go all the way to their waistline. Then, go back up, once again avoiding their belly button. You dont want them getting what they want right away, do you?
- Repeat the above step two or three times, or until you feel they're ready. The next time you reach their belly button, start to gently move the penpoint onto their navel rim and softly trace it, making sure to keep it firmly on the outside.
- As they more and more desperate, verbally begin counting down from 10. With each number, inch the pen a little deeper into their navel, still circling. By 1, let your pen dip onto their knot.
- Here's the fun bit: I want you to pick a couple of words in your head. It could be "belly button" or "navel" or "subby button" or whatever. Let your sub know that you have a word in your head, and they are to try and guess what you're spelling out.
- When drawing each letter, make sure you REALLY over-do it. For example, if writing the letter B, draw that first line up agonisingly slowly, then that first and second curve should be hitting as many folds on their knot as possible. Every letter should be exaggerated, making the navel-owner an absolute mess 😈.
- Give your sub little hints as you're writing, because it's quite hard to think straight when your sensitive belly button is being stimulated in such a way. Don't be too hard on them if they don't get it, this is all about making them feel as good as possible.
You can also do this same exercise with shapes, which has the bonus of you being able to colour it in when you're done (thinking about how that feels makes me 🤯)
PART 3: NAVELINGUS
The holy grail of belly button play, the thing that all owners of erogenous navels hope to experience one day, it's belly button licking. Done right, this can be probably the most incredible feeling. Therefore, it's important we get it right!
You may want to give it a good clean before diving in with your tongue, refer to Part 1 of this series for how to get them shuddering with a Q-tip. Also, make sure that your sub is either wearing a short enough top that it won't get in the way of your head, or no top at all. It's just an annoyance otherwise.
- Their whole stomach is your canvas. With your mouth you can lick, kiss, nibble, bite and suck. That's a lot of different sensations, so we're going to use all of them.
- Firstly, you're going to give their tummy as much gentle love as you can. Nibble adoringly up their sides, lick across their lower stomach, deeply kiss their middle while holding their hand, whatever feels right in the moment. Consider their navel a reward for sitting so still and being so good while you pleasured their belly, and only give it to them when they're ready.
- Once again, the rim is your first port of call. Start with a wide, flat tongue on their lower stomach and lick upwards, transitioning to a pointed, sharp tongue as you begin orbiting their navel. The immediate area around their belly button should be glistening with saliva. Another good move is to gently bite on their navel rim, your top teeth digging just a bit below the rim while your bottom teeth lightly graze their stomach.
- Your tongue isn't as precise as many of the tools you will have been used to using, so don't worry as much about targeting small folds and dimples. It also means you can't really tease their walls the same way you would with a pen or toothpick, so when you feel it's right to dip your tongue inside, feel free to do so.
- The motion that is right will be different for everyone, but for me personally up-down motions work a bit better than a swirling motion simply because it stimulates that central knot so much better. However, others may find that swirling motions are better because they're more sensitive around the edges of the knot, for example. This is your time to experiment with what your partner enjoys. If you hear panting, whimpering or any of the other tell-tales signs of pleasure, keep going.
- Suckling is a great one too. Softly absorbing their knot into your mouth lets you run your tongue around the underside of the knot, an area rarely explored and may get quite an explosive reaction. Slowly suckling for a while is also a great way to rest your tongue for a bit without letting up on the naveljob.
- It's possible that your partner will climax while you lick them. If they start telling you they're going to cum or you suspect they may be close, KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!! No speeding up, no changing direction or technique, just keep it as it is. Keep licking through their orgasm too for maximum brownie points.
And that just about does it! I haven't got the most time in the world to write these so it's not as full of content as I may have liked, but I hope you enjoyed reading anyway! I'm considering combining all my current guides into a big google doc (plus loadss more) as one big belly button manual hehe, so stay tuned for that!

ands snippet: fast and furious
Summary: Vivienne delivers on a promise and expected only the self-satisfaction of a “job well done.” His Dark Grace decides otherwise.
or tldr: the batmobile's first, official iteration gets its christening 😏 (making out + some d/s vibes) this is a write up of this post on how bruce (the batman, really) and vivienne "get together," originally written to entertain @rozaceous (and here's the link to the og concept) the gist is that it's pre-NYE party debacle, ros and vi are practically u-haul lesbians but it's no one's business (not even their authors') how involved they are with each other, and ros and bruce have not resolved their UST yet.
“—and there might be tolerance issues with the panels, but they should be resolved by next month.” Neel Singh, the Experimental Manufacturing lead, concludes his briefing and falls half a pace back.
“We’re not racing the clock, Neel.” Vivienne jots down her thoughts in her notepad, and adds, “The winter holidays are coming up. I don’t expect anything more until February, the earliest.”
“Y-Yes, of course.” After pressing him for continuous updates for the past few months, of course he’d feel discombobulated by the sudden release of the gas pedal, so to speak. Neel pulls out his phone to type a message. “Should I call anyone else to show you around, Vivienne? Someone from Facilities for the test track?”
Vivienne looks up and out past the glass, into the indoor test track where the subject of their discussion sits parked. All aerodynamic sleekness and curves, the diffused polish of a practical matte black coating, and the intuitive physical sense of power and nimbleness in its form…
Now that—that is her son, midwifed by the hardworking and circumspect members of her handpicked team.
A thought comes to mind. “We’re dealing with carbon fiber, yes? RTM process?”
Neel nods warily. “The team assessed it to be the best fit for purpose…”
“Let me see the molds. And I may have some thoughts on the trickier shapes.” At this point, it’s better to do things right than to play coy with knowledge. There aren’t any patents on the line, or papers to publish.
Bless Neel—he’s not the most inspirational team lead out there, but the man can get things done, keeps track of his flock, and does not put them in the line of fire if he can help it. It takes the entire hallway’s length to convince him that no, Vivienne isn’t here to take heads and draw blood. And yes, she does have some experience with composites. Thankfully, what she knows and has retained is relevant enough for their use case.
The setup tour and the technicians present are all of acceptable quality. There’s nothing wrong with their process, per se…
“I appreciate the team’s rationale in using vinyl ester. However, in application, the easier forming and mechanical properties with using epoxy should make it an appropriate trade-off,” she declares her verdict. No one is impolite enough to interrupt her (or they’re not green enough to), but the manufacturing team does exchange serious side eye among each other.
When dealing with technical experts, care must be taken to speak their language. Always acknowledge someone’s hard work, and give good faith that they’ve made their decision with good judgment behind it.
And, of course, one should give explicit reasoning when suggesting an alternative. “We won’t be seeing the same type of corrosion nor UV exposure on average, or most of the expected causes of catastrophic failure”—here, Vivienne meets their gazes directly, pausing deliberately so they get her gist— “will render long-term considerations, hm, superfluous.”
Various noises of scoffing and muffled chortles come from the team before her. “It’s likely to explode, GTA-style, before we care about actual sunlight in Gotham,” someone mutters. “Got it.”
Bonus: appeal to their good humor, show that you’re on their side. Show that if they work with you instead of against you, everyone benefits.
“Then, we’ll put the order in for epoxy instead?” Neel announces to the group.
“Let me liaison with the Testing guys, see which specific one they recommend,” one of the technicians answers while the others debate quietly between themselves. “And we need to check the MSDS for any changes needed.”
“Shouldn’t be much—I think we can relax some of the workflow, too,” another one calls out. “It’ll go a lot faster this round.”
Neel turns towards Vivienne, implicitly waiting for her approval.
“Go ahead,” she confirms. “No rush. You should have enough budget; if not, CC me on any requests.” She waits for Neel to nod before turning back to finish her notes.
One of the technicians whistles low and, undeterred by his coworker’s elbow to the gut, asks out loud, “How the hell are we getting the funding for this? It can’t be government.”
Vivienne pauses, looks up to raise an eyebrow at him. She gives it two seconds—enough to make it awkward but not enough to be aggressive—before answering nonchalantly, “Does it matter? As long as we can all go about our day without the mob brazenly shaking people down in public, or an attention-seeking wack job gassing the streets and locking down the expressway, I do not care.”
The emphasis nets her a “fair enough” gesture and no further questions, with the general atmosphere being one of jocular compliance and satisfaction.
Very good.
She turns to Neel, while announcing to the group at large, “That will be all. Everyone should make sure to confirm with my PA on their way out, so you all can receive your bonuses in a timely manner. Have a happy Thanksgiving.” Then, more directly at Neel: “I’ll meet with Facilities before closing the site for the holiday. Official half-day.”
He gets her unspoken “clear everyone out” order and turns to usher the technicians along, all while starting a phone call with other leads in the testing facility.
---
Vivienne takes the scenic route towards the direction of the Facilities Management suite, walking leisurely to keep her baby in her sights the entire time. She returns absent hums of acknowledgment to the people that greet her along her way, dismissing them when they try to ask if she needs anything, and eventually, the facility is empty.
Instead of turning into the Facilities suite, she goes to the nearby elevator to scan her card and wait.
The building lights dim to their low-occupancy standby state. Then, one of the shadows in the empty hallway distends into a vaguely humanoid form, stalking forward until there’s a glint of whited-out eyes.
Ever the dramatic. His Dark Grace’s penchant for positioning is comically perfect.
“I assume you’ve looped the cameras?” Vivienne tilts her head towards the Facilities suite.
The Batman gives a little, “Hm,” and continues towards her and the elevator.
Yes, duh. Vivienne doesn’t roll her eyes. It’d be wasted on this bat-shaped mime.
She instead flips her notepad to a later page, where she’s noted down the information received from Facilities via email a week ago. Meeting with them was entirely unnecessary. Her mind runs through what would be the most efficient loop of comprehensive testing—and if they waited until sunset, she could set up and open the outdoor portion of the track for “realistic conditions.”
It’s rather easy to ignore the looming shadow next to her—she’s had practice and more important things to think about. Normally, anyone impolite enough to look over her shoulder at her notes would be told to back off, but here she can hope that he’d absorb some proper methodology for fucking once. To be fair, any thought of “proper” leaves her head upon reaching the ground floor of the track.
The so-called “Batmobile” is gorgeous. If not in her heels, Vivienne would have sprinted over to him.
Her beautiful baby boy.
She tucks her notepad and pen away into her handbag, and loops the shoulder strap across her torso. All hands are needed for properly admiring this work of art.
“Ah—the slight ripples Neel mentioned,” she talks His Dark Grace through the visual inspection. “Project Lead Neel Singh,” she adds for clarification, letting him know who and what to satisfy his paranoia. “Yes, the matrix voids will be easier to mitigate with the modifications to their vacuum assistance setup, the tooling support, and of course, not using vinyl ester. More workable.”
She walks around the car, eyeing the front and back tires, noting the height of the chassis, and internally debates the optimum between aesthetics, performance, and practicality.
“Hm. This tire size is special order, but still commercial-off-the-shelf. The concern is that typical road conditions won’t allow for anything lower, but we need to balance the handling with the overall weight…especially since the chassis will be so lightweight.” She backs up and takes in the whole of the car’s form. “I…I’m actually a bit worried—we might not have the right balance between the aero and weight for the CG, being not for track purposes, so we can’t go as low as actual motorsport designs—”
“—then let’s test it,” Batman cuts through her fretting. He’s been following along with her inspection, practically hovering over her the entire time. The fingers of his gauntleted hand carefully trace where she was pointing out, trailing behind her hand’s path. “That’s why we’re here.”
Credit where credit is due—that’s true. At least he didn’t immediately demand to do so; his interjection is a polite ask, the bat and all things considered. And Vivienne wouldn’t have let him within a zip code of her new son if he wasn’t ready to handle. She can allow His Dark Grace some fun, for once.
She takes out the prototype key fob—slow enough to rile up the menacing furry next to her—and clicks. The doors unlock and pop slightly ajar before she dangles the fob in front of Batman.
He’s finally trained enough to be polite during their handovers; he takes the fob from her possession without force, and waits for her to situate herself in the passenger side before getting in himself.
“No helmets. Well, you better not get me killed,” Vivienne says blandly when Batman starts up the car. He purrs, lovely and smooth like a spoiled cat. “Or I won’t offer custom hubcaps. Ones with little bat decals.”
There’s a faint smirk on His Dark Grace’s face. “I’m better than that.” He teases with a brief revving of the engine.
The test track comes into hyperfocus in front of Vivienne; on a whim, she clicks an additional control up top near the rearview HUD of the car that opens up the gate to the outdoor track. She can recognize the adrenaline building up—it’s what follows a good challenge, either mental or physical, and she welcomes it with relish.
“Let’s see it, then,” she nods towards the gate, unable to help her toothy grin in return.
---
Her baby boy “handles,” is what Vivienne can say for now. She didn’t expect the response to be buttery smooth on first iteration, and for something experimental. The seeds of something are present—His Dark Grace pulled them into two hairpin turns in sequence—and coupled with the snappiness, she thinks they have an unpolished gem in their hands. The car is like having a barely tamed big cat, leashed up and ready to let loose on one’s orders.
It’s fucking exhilarating.
The stupid showoff figures out how to manage the car quickly enough. He pulls another turn that lets them slide perfectly against the side of the track into the bay that’s meant to be a small pit area. The uncovered half of his face is not as expressive as he pretends to be, day-to-day, but the expression present is full-on cocky as hell.
(Honestly, Vivienne can admit to liking it—or at least, this is much more tolerable than the public-facing himbo she needs to politely shake hands with whenever he deigns to muck around at the office.)
“Proven enough?” His typical growl is less forced, and more of a pleasant rumble that harmonizes nicely with the idling engine. In the full furry get-up, subtle side glances and all that aren't really possible. His Dark Grace turns to stare at her, goading for a response.
The cowl and the whited-out effect of the lenses are eerie up close, but dealing with the devil is much less intimidating when one has leverage. In Vivienne’s case—he knows she’s capable and motivated enough to possibly add something like a kill-switch to the car, just to fuck with him if he pisses her off. His Dark Grace wants her baby real bad, and with proof of concept she can probably get him to do anyt—
Hold up, Vi, say that again? Her inner Ros stops that train of thought.
“Differential adjustment shou—well. Acceptable,” she gives him the compliment, leaning back into the seat with a more relaxed posture. They never make the ergonomics of them fit for anyone of average height; her hairpin has slightly loosened from how the back of the seat rubbed against her updo, and she pulls the pin free to restyle her hair. She feels the Batman’s stare as he waits, and she keeps him waiting. “You’re competent and quick on the uptake. Adaptive.”
Wrangling the Batman was the equivalent of wrangling a division of egotistical engineers working at the cutting edge of everything—all very competent people that will step on each other’s toes, get in each other’s way, and are too used to being correct that they forget their purpose. The balance was slightly off here, becoming the classical joke of “one horse-sized duck or a hundred duck-sized horses.”
But everyone has their leverage points, and all are susceptible to The Carrot versus The Stick in personalized ratios and applied judiciously. Vivienne didn’t aim to do anything as Machiavellian as put the Dark Knight of Gotham under her thumb, but that’s where he somehow ended up. She, by sheer grit, found the winning combo of getting him to listen to her—at least when it came to nonsensical designs—and actively soliciting her opinion. She’s not dumb enough to lose that leverage when she sees it in her hands. Maintaining it requires work: showing agreeableness to an extent, with the occasional reminder that he’s in her territory and he would do well to remember it. A little flick to the ego, occasionally.
It helps to put into perspective that, at the end of the day, Bruce Wayne the Batman is nearly five years younger than her. Engineers and technicians under her, the ones ranging from two to ten years younger, with a plethora of tertiary degrees between them—her mind can’t help flagging them as “children” until they temper themselves with a real project, from bid to deliverable.
So, of course her brain demoted the fucking CEO of her company and its parent conglomerate to being a “boy” as soon as he called her Lucius’s PA. She has found no evidence contrary to that ever since. With him neatly categorized, accounting for unique attributes and handling, Vivienne knows very well how to deal with “boys,” because she wouldn’t have gotten this far otherwise.
“Hah. If you had wrecked my shit, as with your typical M.O., maybe I could’ve gotten a nice dinner out of you tonight.” Her tone is intentionally sharper, diction and accent more crass with the habitual New Jersey attitude rather than her usual featureless cosmopolitan speech pattern. Dusk was here, steadily eating away the evening hours as autumn progressed. They’ve stayed later than she anticipated, but…
…for once, in a very long time, she was having fun. The evidence is on her teeth—she was grinning wide enough to catch some of her lipstick on her canines, which her tongue can clearly feel the slick of it.
“Well. We’re done here. Keep up with”—she gestures at the whole of him with a dismissive hand— “that well enough, don’t piss me off, and maybe you’ll earn your new toy by the end of next quarter.”
That whole posturing—after prolonged proximity and the hot-and-cold of seemingly hard-won praise versus snide dismissiveness—is supposed to make His Dark Grace harrumph and skulk away.
Today, he grabs her hand. It’s not violent or anything, but he doesn’t touch her. She’s lost her temper enough to jab her finger in his cowled face, and he’s been taken aback enough and in the position to let her. He’s never touched her.
That—that’s not in the script.
His Dark Grace continues to stare at her, his exposed jaw not quite clenched enough to denote a possible temper tantrum incoming. So, she minutely cocks her chin up, adding a slight challenging tilt to her expression with a raised eyebrow and the slight baring of her teeth in a sneering smile. What are you doing? Are you really—really?
He has her wrist with his left hand, and his full attention and facing is towards her. The right hand comes closer. And because he doesn’t pull her that she lets him, it’s so much closer until—of all fucking things—she feels the gauntlet leather past the corner of her mouth and pressure on her teeth.
The thumbpad has her lipstick stain on it from him wiping it away.
She scoffs, half-between a laugh and an incredulous squawk, and tries to tug her hand away. It doesn’t budge. “How badly do you want this car?” The tone isn’t right—wrong mix of scathing versus levity. And yet, it seems to draw him in closer, the tireless masochist that he is. “Didn’t I say ‘don’t piss me off’?”
“I’m hoping to do the opposite.” This close, he doesn’t bother with the growl at all. He’s almost inaudible over the engine. The lipstick-stained gauntlet cups her jaw, the thumb carefully avoiding her skin, and he leans in when she doesn’t resist.
What the fuck. What is happening. Did he bug the apartment, overhear the sleepover-bullshit talks with Ros?
It’s fascinating, clinically speaking. From what Vivienne’s heard of local gossip, especially among the secretary pool and their particular brand of romantic fantasizing, the Batman is expected to be rough. Wild. He’s supposed to fulfill all sorts of “tall, dark, and handsome” daydreams and lonely imaginings at night, along with fighting crime—what a busy guy.
So, to have him soft and insistent at her mouth, but more like asking for permission than forceful, is a fascinating gap between expectation and reality. He’s not a shabby kisser at all; the playboy types usually have something else going on that makes everyone else do the work for them, and they get to reap all the pleasure. That is apparently not the case here.
Eventually, he pulls back so they can breathe and reassess.
Vivienne looks. She really looks—his face may be mostly covered, he’s still staring, but he’s flushed, visibly steadying his breathing, and her lipstick stains his mouth in a viscerally appealing way that makes her want to lick her teeth. He’s paradoxically much more exposed than she is.
And with that, His Dark Grace is really such a pretty boy—something Vivienne has constantly lamented with Ros over for his pissy attitude. He’s perfectly amenable now, though.
“You really want this,” she says this again, her free hand coming down to pat the console between them and leaning closer.
He’s still a cheeky shit, though. “I want it,” and tilts his head again, ready to close the distance at her say-so.
She means the damn car, but— “Then you’ll have to work for it,” and she closes the distance herself.

THEME: Studio Ghibli
Studio Ghibli films have captured our imagination ever since they’ve reached our screens, and for good reason. The lovingly designed landscapes, the dedication to complicated (but relatable) characters, and the gentle balance of fantasy and everyday life have enchanted many of creator, including those of the games below!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hearts and Ravens, by Martian Machinery.
Flying towers cross the land at the whim of wizards who prey on the souls of the wayward or uncareful. The King Underground trades in the mortal lives of the wished-away and the unwanted. A stolen prince daydreams of faraway. All the while there are apprenticeships to fulfill, hats to make, carpets to weave, and the thousand things that prevent an adventure from taking place. Until one day, luck or a dream or magic intervenes and nothing is ever the same again.
You'll go on an adventure. You'll be confronted with challenges and fears. You'll come face-to-face with magic and magical creatures. You'll make difficult decisions. And if you're lucky, and if you look hard enough, you might find yourself.
This is a game about people escaping their mundane lives and becoming adventurers and wizards in a fantasy world. This is a world where contracts are binding and magic is powerful and personal. We create characters with obligations and play to find out how they discover the world, fight against adversity, and explore truths about themselves.
Hearts & Ravens combines the mechanics of PbtA games with the storytelling tools of Good Society. It draws inspiration specifically from Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle, as well as media such as the 1985 Labyrinth, so expect to meet characters who have to keep themselves hidden, fairytale magic, and obligations that you can’t simply run away from. I’m very excited about this game!
Singles & Returns, by Groundhoggoth.
Singles & Returns is a way to tell stories that mix nostalgia and fairytale, centred around the passengers on a bus that serves anyone who can pay the fare, and even several who can’t. You’ll meet some fascinating people onboard, talk to them and then get off again. Inspired by the works of Studio Ghibli, there’s no pressure or urgency in this game, no great threat to overcome, just simple, everyday, minor panics: will she like me? Will I get the job? Will I be late? As the bus takes them each toward their destination, they have time to share what’s on their mind, listen and give advice, and maybe lend a helping hand on the way.
This game reminds me of the train Chihiro takes to visit Zeniba in Spirited Away, as well as the Cat Bus in My Neighbour Totoro. The Bus is there to take you from one place to another, and it guarantees to get you there on time. It takes no responsibility for epiphanies, changes of heart, or a meeting of fate (which is one of my favourite little additions in the book!)
There’s very little rolling other than determining who you are and where you’re going, so this game is probably more suitable for players who really like diving into role-play and conversation. A single session can be over pretty quick, so there’s also suggestions about ways to extend the game, or change it up for future play-throughs.
Spirit Line, by Floofi.
“All Aboard the Spirit Line! An inter-dimensional train that travels through the different realms and realities. You are a conductor of the Spirit Line and you must solve the various Troubles that the train will go through! Work with your fellow Conductors to keep the Spirit Line safe and maintain it’s five star status! Good luck Conductors!”
Spirit Line is a TTRPG that focuses on you fixing problems around the Spirit Line through the power of friendship and cooperation! To play this game you will need 2-5 players, a d12, a deck of cards, and a few pieces of paper to keep track of your Conductor! You will not need a GM for this and all you need to do is read the instruction and you will be good to go!
This is a quick, fast-paced game of Train Conductors doing their best to keep their train running as easily as possible: it could also easily be re-skinned to fit a different genre or slotted into a larger game such as Hearts & Ravens or Spiritbound to make travel interesting for the players. There’s both a win and a fail state for this game - the Conductors could have Troubles pile up until they're at risk of losing their jobs, or they could fix all of the problems before they hit the end of the line. This is a small, easy-to-learn game with a plentitude of possibilities!
Spirited Cafe, by A Couple of Drakes.
Take on the exciting role of part of a family indentured to the witch Baba, bound by ineffable obligation to run her restaurant in the Crossroads until you can repay your family’s debts. It exists at the eternal nexus where the Human World and the Spirit World overlap. Your job is to protect the Human World by satisfying any guest that arrives from the Spirit World to this strange little place in space and time. If these spirits are fed and contented, they will return home with the sunrise. If they are not, then there is no telling what strange aims they will pursue among the Human World.
You're all that stands between the Human World and all manner of things from outside. On your side, you've got a finnicky stove, a creepy cookbook, and a little bit of magic. Ghosts, goblins, trolls, and tengu file into your little cafe, hungry for mischief. You and your family better cook for your lives!
This game takes heavy inspiration from both Spirited Away and the video game Overcooked. Using the fast-paced, ticking-clock mechanics of Forged in the Dark, you’ll work together to create a family and a restaurant while the GM will design hungry (and impatient) customers to demand more and more from your little family business. When your customers are magical, the stakes are much higher! This is great for fans of Studio Ghibli who still like to experience a challenge.
Golden Sky Stories, by Star Line Publishing.
Golden Sky Stories is a heartwarming, non-violent role-playing game from Japan, by Ryo Kamiya. In this game, players take on the role of henge, animals that have just a little bit of magical power, including the ability to temporarily take on human form. You can be a fox, raccoon dog, cat, dog, rabbit, or bird, and each kind has their own special magical powers. Players will then attempt to solve problems around a small enchanted town with ingenuity, co-operation and friendship.
Golden Sky Stories requires one Narrator, 2-4 players, pencils and paper, and tokens to keep track of Dreams. Your characters have powers and vulnerabilities that operate off of a token economy, with the goal of helping out people in a nearby town. You’ll be rolling dice alongside the mechanic of token expenditure, with different tokens and stats assigned for different kinds of things - the process of operating a telephone or fixing a flashlight is going to be different from sneaking along fences or reading a person’s emotions.
This is an all-ages kind of game, with peaceful art and a big emphasis on the kinds of stories common in Studio Ghibli movies. If you want to add more character options and some scenarios to get you started, you can also check out Twilight Tales, a supplement for Golden Sky Stories.
Cloud Empress, by Watts.
"The battle between rampaging forest gods and humanity cannot end well; there can be no happy ending. Yet, even amid the hatred and slaughter, there are things worthy of life." -- Hayao Miyazaki
Cloud Empress is an ecological science fantasy setting for the science horror tabletop roleplaying game Mothership. Cloud Empress in the land of ten thousand cicadas will be a full-color zine and PDF and is currently in development. In Cloud Empress: in the land of ten thousand cicadas, players will explore a land governed by the patterns of giant psychic cicadas. When deadly soldiers from royal lands high above the clouds threaten the balance, the Breadbasket's wheat fields will burn without the players' help.
This game involves a world that has changed dramatically, similar to the strange world of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. It’s a game about learning to live and survive in a world that is full of the trash and poison of the people who left the world behind; a post apocalypse in a world ruined by others, and by our ancestors. If you like the idea of speculative futures with world-building that is intended to be quickly picked up and understood by the players, this is absolutely worth checking out.
The link above is a playtest for a game that will have a full version for sale down the road, now that their Kickstarter campaign has finished up.

Dragon Telephone Game Interest Check!
Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I hosted one of these, but i’ve gathered up enough residual spoons to go for round three! However, instead of Hollow Knight for this round we’re doing
Tumblr media
Dragons
So how does this work?
If this is new to you or you missed the first two rounds of the telephone games lemme direct you to this tag to scour through on my blog!
Basically, a team of 5 artists and 5 writers (yep! writers get to join in on the fun!) are assigned one after the other, such as:
writer -> artist -> writer -> artist -> writer -> etc
and then the first person in line is given a prompt from me! If a writer is first in line, they get to write a story or a blurb based off of a prompt I give them. After they finish writing their piece, they submit it to me and I hand it off to the next person in line, an artist! The artist will take the written piece and draw inspiration from a scene or from the description of the dragon! That piece of art is then submitted and I hand it to the writer next in line and so forth. Going into the previous participants DMs to scream excitedly about the work you got from them is highly encouraged!
Each participant gets 5 days of work and 2 days of buffer. Artists can draw comics or single standalone pieces. Writers get 300 to 6000 words.
At the end, we get to see how much the dragon changed or what miraculously stayed the same the entire time! Ultimately the goal is to have fun.
Each telephone chain is themed. In the Hollow Knight telephone games, each chain was themed after one of my AUs, but for this one I’m going much broader since a dragon themed game is a lot more flexible. So themes would be like “Battle Scarred Warrior” “An Average Day in the Dragon Rescue Shelter” “The Mythical Anthology of the Mini Draccus” etc
One hard rule is that all dragons and works must be original to the telephone game. So no Flightrising, Wings of Fire, Dragonriders of Pern, etc dragons or OCs. You may take whatever you create afterward and do whatever you want with them, but when the games start you’ll be creating from scratch from a prompt or from the participant’s work given to you.
If there is enough interest, I’ll send out a form on October 8th for people to fill out to then join the telephone discord!

Aaron and Criminal Minds December Prompt List [a ramble]
Tumblr media
Photo credits after the tag list
Good evening loves! We made it to November! It’s hard to believe. I know it felt like crawling over some metaphorical finish line to get here, but I made it and you did too, and I’m proud of you for that! As we start ramping up to the holiday season, I’ve been having Hotch thoughts, as per usual. This month I thought I’d make a prompt list and share it with anyone who would like to write along, a la @imagining-in-the-margins. I won’t write for all of these, but I will for at least a few. The rules for using these prompts are that there are no rules! You could use any Criminal Minds characters, OC’s, reader inserts, etc. You could draw, write, make mood boards, or anything else you can imagine. I have included 31 prompts for each day of the month. I also get inspiration from plain old words, so I’ve included 10 December-y words that might inspire something. I've tried to keep the prompts non-holiday center as everyone has their own traditions/faiths. Lastly, I’ve included a few dialog and art prompts too. You can find that all below the cut. If any of these prompts inspire you to create, I’d love to be tagged to see what you have made. This is all just for fun. I wish everyone a great start to the month. Please know I’m proud of you wherever you are right now. Love - Levi ❄️❄️❄️

What got you into writing/how long have you been writing?
What’s your writing inspiration?
Do you write in silence or need background sounds? Like music?
Do you struggle more with dialogue or detail?
Any tips for someone who wants to write fanfiction?
How do you differ all your OC’s so you don’t rewrite the same characters over and over?
Do you do research?
— from someone who would love to write their own stories lol but yours are great!
My darling. So many apologies for how tardy I’ve been in replying to this, I really wanted to give it due thought because I’m quite touched you’d even ask.
Tumblr media
1: I’ve been writing since I was little, my mama was always reading me classics and my greatest ambition was to be some kind of author every bit as colorful as their characters, a la Oscar Wilde. 🥳
2. Writing inspiration? Oh that’s a hard one only in that I could cite a million things and chat your poor ear off, but to be boring and also frank -I just love stories. I think they’re so inspiring and healing and necessary for making sense of things, or else resigning to things that can’t be explained. I love to study love and how very human and fallible and also indestructible it is in its many forms. I love to dig through tragedy and find the refining purpose of it, I love to take characters through hells I’ve been through so that I can imagine their triumphs, too, and my own through them. If this can happen to -name your hero- then I’m no smaller for it happening to me, if -name your hero- can get through it and be loved and admired by a whole fandom? -I deserve the same commendation from myself at the very least. Stories are essential and fun and I never ever imagined I’d have a little group one day liking my own where we could all scream about these things together. I’m legit so humbled each time I log on here and find y’all ready and waiting and interactive. The community of it, that’s the biggest drive right now, tbh. What a sweet season.
3. I usually write in silence, or else at any chance where I have a moment, so that could be public transport or lunch breaks or in the loo during family holidays, ha. However I do find music to be an inspiring mood setter for writing later that day. Especially as i juggle many ongoing projects at once, the genre im listening to before may very well influence what gets worked on.
4. Detail!! Dialogue can be challenging but I hear it so clearly in my head most of the time that it’s not hard. Details can devastate me.
5. Ooof, I still feel like I’m a baby at it, this is only my second fandom to dare for. I’d say for sure write what you find inspiring instead of what appears to be wanted, i firmly believe that’s the only sure way to keep up any inspiration and the niche will draw its own crowd, one’s who will like it all the better for its specially crafted world. Also, for dialogue -replay and replay dialogue from the character before you write. Are they terse or do they ramble? Are they sarcastic or earnest? Do they have a word they repeat often? -I noticed the other day how Rosenthal uses “you know?” often in the show. Also, sometimes switch up sentence structure from character to character, it helps feel like hopping brains without a fully jarring POV change. All these are things I’m currently working at myself, but that’s the best I’ve got for advice.
6. Oh boy I’m still figuring this out myself. Three things come to mind as little helps I use- first off, read real biographies, it helps tremendously with crafting fully dimensional fictional people. Two -have a maturing arc for your OC during the story, separate from whatever adventure or romance that occurs, this will make it feel less like a inserted person into the broader story. Three, choose a personality type or something similar to both keep them separate from the next but also to ensure their virtues have corresponding vices.
7. I do research a lot. But I find that it’s a fine line for myself of when that drains all creativity or bravery. Im massively indebted to so many mutuals who generously share their own with me.

A lot of your work has really inspired me to take a shot at making comics. I know it's a lot to ask but I was wondering how to go about the process. Do you write and refine scripts before illustrating pages or do you just have a general plot in mind? Big fan of your work, your artstyle is magnificent.
first of all, that's amazing! comics are one of the best ways to learn art, because they challenge every aspect of your skill, it can be frustrating, but very very rewarding and worth it! and i am deeply moved that my work has inspired you to do so! thank you very much!!
my process has several steps, an each one sort of refines the last one as i revisit the same page over and over (which is great because i look at it with fresh eyes and manage to make it even better!!) but it turned out long, so get comfortable:
first i write a rough draft, trying to write as fast as possible with no stopping as much as i can, just so you can get the story (chapter) out. once the whole thing is finished, i edit it to make more sense! fix any mistakes, format it sort of like a script and also i try to be as descriptive as possible when explaining a scene - not just the vibes of it but i try to write out what i want the panels to look like or have, what POV or angle they're in, what details should be visible, describe the page design alltogether, etc. for the scripts i use notion.to because it was the most comfortable to organise all the chapters and notes and stuff in one place!
once the script is completed, i plan out the panels - that means i get a bunch of sketch paper (a3) and one by one as i reread the script, i draw out the panels and use little post its to shortly describe what should be in each panel (ex.: wide view of room, Michael in middle looking angrily at the clipboard). during this i also can edit the script a bit again, as with fresh eyes maybe i managed to think of something BETTER for the scene. i usually plan out about 15-20 pages in one sitting this way, because it's mostly just drawing rectangles and visualising the page in your head.
then we move on to ACTUALLY SKETCHING inside those panels, and with this i start from backgrounds first, then characters, then added details. at first i used just the red lead pencils, but then i began adding different colours like layers for the beforementioned categories. and when doing this i try to do as many pages as possible in one sitting, because the first page always comes out wonky, but then you get the flow of the story going and it gets easier (also good practice!!) and again, here i can refine the script, because maybe the post it i placed earlier doesn't make as much sense anymore and the scene might look different. so i sketch it how i think is best at the moment. i try to be as clear as possible, so the lining process later doesn't frustrate me too much.
now it's time to scan everthing and because i have a smaller scanner that means i must do it twice for each page. that's okay though because at least it comes out high quality when i photomerge them on photoshop later on. i apply autocontrast+autocolor to the picture, and the page looks more legible, and then transfer some to procreate on my ipad.
then you test out what lines/brush look best, and once you've got a chosen one - you LINE IT. Starting with defining the panels better, so they're not wiggly unless they look better that way. i again start from backgrounds because they're tedious and hard, then the characters, add some more details and then the speech bubbles. each on a separate layer so i can edit each one later if needed.
then all that's left is shading everything and exporting that bad boy out into the world!
what is common in most of these stages, is that i keep editing as i go. when i think of how i want the panels to look, i try to imagine it not just as a comic panel but like a scene in a movie (if specifically - horror movies and other times a one-camera comedy tv-shows or just a combination of both) and that really helps me visualize the panel.
another thing to keep in mind when writing a bigger/longer story is to know where it's going or at least what are you trying to show through it, but even that isn't necessary because in comics you can just keep exploring an idea or a concept without going really anywhere and it can still end up being amazing.
in the end you must remember that the comic you're making for YOU first and audience second. because when you start thinking about what other people will think, it'll become frustrating very fast and lose the fun. an creating comics is already frustrating in on itself, there's no need to bring in any more to it.
i hope you will make comics! i hope they will be fun for you and i'm very happy you want to put out more of this fantastic media into the world!
i also hope the long answer helped :))

Hello, just wanna start this off by saying that I love your art. I've decided to ask my favourite artists for art tips as I wanna get into it, but no matter what I do it never looks right. So, any tips?
WARNING YOU JUST OPENED THE FLOOD GATES GET READY FOR A LONG ASS POST
WOOOOO BOY, first off huge fucking compliment i honestly didn't think i was anyone's favorite artist (despite what my friends say) and i find it super cool of you to try and draw
Anddd nowww the cowards will run out as soon as you read more
okay so first things first, disclaimer! I AM NO PROFESSIONAL BY ANY STANDARDS, IM JUST SUPER INTERESTED IN ART, DO NOT TAKE MY WORDS AS GOSPEL AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE MY WORDS OF ADVICE (you didnt say i was but just to cover my ass)
I am still learning as an artist so this will just be advice that helped me, lets just hope i can remember what got me here, and this will be just me jotting down my thoughts as they come so maybe im not the best person to come to about this (i may repeat what other people say in terms of art so bare with me)
SO WITHOUT ANYMORE DISCLAIMER! YOU WANT ART TIPS FROM ME? WELL GET READY FOR SOME BULLSHIT FROM A PERSON WHO'S BEEN SO ARTSY FARTSY IN THEIR ENTIRE LIFE AND HAS NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT, WELL COME INTO THE SHIT TRAIN!!
Now i dont know if you are an intermediate artist, beginner, need help in specific areas or whatever the hell else but! here's the three main points i always wanted to scream at artists who are just starting out!
Your art WILL look like shit in the beginning
References and inspiration are YOUR FRIEND
DONT be afraid to trace
(I know I know this feels like regurgitated and it probably is BUT HEY STICK WITH ME)
does your art looks fucking trash? THATS GOOD!! KEEP DRAWING!! My art looked fucking ugly when i started and some might say (me) it still does, but thats okay!! You learn more and more from just drawing without any tips, art is a pure skill that builds up, do not be discouraged!! The point of art isn't to be the greatest in the world, it's to be at peace with what you create so if your art looks good to you and you are in a happy place in your progress, you are basically successful in my eyes at least (this doesn't mean to quit learning obviously but it'll come in time, be patient, do not push yourself! that's how you stop loving art and we don't want that happening!)
Ever find yourself asking "man why the fuck does (include art shit here) not look accurate??" well here's a tip, USE REFERENCES! DO NOT BE LIKE ME WHERE YOU JUST WING IT OR ELSE YOU'LL BE CRYING OVER YOUR DRAWING TABLET LIKE I DID AT SOME POINT!! Pay attention to the shapes of the reference, break it down and draw over it if you need to, shapes are very important in art and you need to be able to draw whatever you want in the most basic forms (im no good example of this, i really need to practice more aughhh). As well as references, inspiration is KEY!!! Everything is inspired off each other, nothing is original, so steal from your favorite artists!! Look at their speedpaints, look at how they use colors, analyze how they draw anatomy in their style, see how they use shapes, etc etc, learn from who you consider are the "greats of their times"!! USE ALL THE INSPIRATION YOU HAVE AT YOUR FINGERTIPS!!LITERALLY COPY THEM IF YOU WANT EVEN IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DID THAT, YOU'LL LEARN WITH TIME!! just whatever you do, don't compare yourself so heavily against other artists, i know its hard, i do it myself even! If there is an artist who has a style you so so want, don't crumble if you can't draw in their style perfectly, you'll never win against someone in their art style. I suggest taking inspiration from multiple artists and mashing them together until it looks good in your eyes!!
That actually leads me to my next point! TRACING IS OKAY!! Now obviously I do not mean directly tracing over like some lines, showing it off/posting it and calling it completely original. I mean tracing over the references i mentioned before, or like what i said before, i believe you should actually trace from your favs! (don't call it original like i said before), tracing can help build memory on how to draw certain things like how i took a photo of my hands before, traced them, and then put it to the side to redraw it, making me understand futher how hands work! OR like how i traced a piece of art that i liked to understand how the artist drew their bodies, tracing is used by total professionals in the industry so do not be afraid!! You have total permission from me to trace my art and learn how to draw my wack ass bodies
and for a little extra bit, little bit of a hot take (I'm actually not sure how much of a hot take this is), i don't think you HAVE to learn the fundamentals to get into art. NOW BEFORE YOU RUN OFF SCREAMING AND SHITTING, IM NOT SAYING YOU DON'T NEED THE FUNDAMENTALS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! I'm just saying that if you want to get into art as a complete hobbyist and just want to draw to yknow draw and be happy, you should just go for it! Again don't make art something you hate! I completely encourage learning the fundamentals but don't ever feel like you're failing just because you don't, get into it when you have the time! be patient with yourself, this goes for any hobby/skill but just sink some time into it, i promise you will get further in you hobby than if you push and rush yourself into complete burn out
OH AND HERES MY ULTIMATE TIP! THERE IS NO WRONG WAY TO DO ART!!
Uhhh i think that's everything? Im not exactly sure how comprehensible this is or how the spelling is since i am not beta reading this! But apologies if this wasn't what you were looking for! (if anybody even read this far) and i hope that if you asked your other favorite artists they answered with anything better than whatever this is! I wish you alot of luck in your art journey and thank you for giving me an excuse to talk about art! OH AND REMEMBER TO TAKE BREAKS

Chapter Four
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“How long are you going to make me stand like this?”
“Claire, the life drawing models do this for an hour at a time, I think you can handle ten minutes.”
“At least they get paid for it, all I get is criticism.”
“Please, try to keep your feet in the same spot, the legs are really important.”
She sighs and readjusts, planting her feet back onto the two X’s I’ve marked on the floor with masking tape, then stands still for a good five seconds before reaching up to touch her hair.
I sigh with frustration. “Claire…”
“Sorry, I just feel like my hair looks weird.”
“It’s fine, please can you just…”
“I’m worried you aren’t going to make me look good.”
“It’s not about making you look good, it’s about capturing an accurate portrayal of human anatomy.”
“Ugh.” She moves her arms back to roughly the correct position, but now her torso has kind of twisted out of position, so I take my gummy eraser and start rubbing out what I’ve already drawn.
Tumblr media
‘Why is this so hard?” I mutter under my breath as I bring the charcoal to the page again, drawing a fresh line for the curve of her spine. It seems like no matter what I do, I can never recreate the focus I have in Ida’s studio. I’ve tried drawing in my sketchbook on the bus, in cafes, while sitting on benches at the park, but my drawings always look off, I don’t feel sure about my talent like I used to. I’m not carrying an inspirational spark with me when I’m outside of the walls of my college and yet, tomorrow is Friday. The day that we all have to lay our sketchbooks out on the floor and critique each other for the work we’ve done during the week, so really I have to come up with something halfway good. I want Ida to be proud. I don’t want the cursed Dean Cullen to be mean, although he inevitably will. His default mode is nasty, but still, I can’t help but want to prove myself. To be good enough. To be the best.
Tumblr media
“I’m not going to move, don’t worry…” Claire says. “But I just want to say that I’m getting very cold.”
“It won’t be long, I promise.” I plead.
“Don’t life drawing models also have heaters?”
“It’s not like you’re naked. Leggings and a vest are like, roughly the same thing as a heater.”
“Not at all. And it’s almost winter. Why don’t we at least have the radiators on?”
I shudder at the thought of the last electricity bill, the memory of opening up that little white envelope and feeling like I was going to have a heart attack and collapse onto the wooden floor. It was revealed then that Claire was leaving the heating on pretty much all day from the moment the temperature dipped below fourteen degrees, for the sake of being cosy. Her parents pay for everything, including her half of the utility bills, so really, nothing matters at all to her, and I know she doesn’t really understand why we have to suffer in the cold, or why I kept telling her to buy a hot water bottle instead of cranking on the radiators every time she goes to bed. If I didn’t keep remembering to switch it off our bills would be astronomical every month. I wish I could be the passive-aggressive housemate sometimes and put a padlock on the timer.
Tumblr media
I’m on the student support grant, which just about covers my rent and food. I don’t think she understands that some people have to think about money, that it doesn’t just endlessly flow into all of our accounts, or materialise from thin air whenever we want a new skirt from American Apparel.
It frustrates me sometimes, the disparity between our finances. I’d never really thought about class, or where I stood in society before I moved away from home, but now it’s all around me all the time and utterly impossible to ignore, woven into my identity. I’ve never associated with the notion of being a working class person from a working class household but when I’m here it feels as though it’s the number one thing that defines me. It saturates everything, everyone’s accents and postcodes under scrutiny. Who’s dad can afford this and that, who has to work evenings and weekends to pay their way, who gets the grant, who doesn’t. I’d never before considered the fact that Claire got a thousand euro for her Confirmation and at my house, the year of the financial crash, we had plain pasta for dinner every day for three weeks, but now it seems as though this was something I should have always been aware of.
Tumblr media
Shane comes into the apartment without knocking, as usual at that very moment, and Claire immediately drops her pose to skip over and embrace him, as if they haven’t seen eachother in a month, instead of every single day. He has his own apartment in Clonskeagh, but is seemingly never there. He’s become our third housemate – the one who never pays rent. I groan and drop my willow charcoal back into my plastic pencil holder. Whatever is on the page now will just have to do.
“You alright there, Evie?” Shane says over her shoulder, never letting me just have a tantrum in peace.
“Yeah I’m fine. Just finishing up an assignment.”
“Seems to be going well, sure you look delighted.”
I stick my tongue out at him, and he ignores me. “Bit cold in here, isn’t it?” He comments, and Claire throws her hands up in agreement. “Thank you!” She says. “I’ve been trying to tell her that all evening.”
“She’s cold because she’s in a vest in leggings.”
“That you made me wear for your drawing.”
Tumblr media
Shane smirks. “I’m not complaining about the vest and leggings anyway. Come on, just flick the heat on for a while.” He goes over to the thermostat and flips it on expertly, like a man who lives here. Which he doesn’t. He just sleeps here three to four nights a week. Then he comes over and sits beside me on the couch. I try to close my sketchbook before he can catch a glimpse, but it’s too late. He puts his big hand in the way to block me.
“That’s good.” He says, pointing at the drawing I’ve just done.
“Is that the one of me?” Claire says, coming over to perch on the arm of the sofa next to him. “Oh, it is good. You made me look very pretty.”
“Not hard to do.” Shane tells her with this dreadful, flirtatious look on his face and I have to suppress a disgusted shudder.
“It’s fine.” I say begrudgingly. “But it’s not going to be good enough.”
“I think it’s great.” Claire reassures me. “What more could they be looking for?”
“Perfection.”
Shane lifts the sketchbook out of my hands without asking and starts flipping through it. “So what, is your tutor like some kind of dragon, or?”
Tumblr media
I sigh. “Ida is fine, she’s honest but she’s fair. There’s just this one guy.” I take the sketchbook back off him and try to close it in my lap, but he easily slips it away from me again and resumes his snooping.
“A student, like?”
“Yeah. Dean Cullen. He’s always horrible about my work.”
“I wouldn’t care if some random man was making comments about my work. Sure he’s hardly going to give you grades, is he?”
“No.” I say. “But I don’t want to give him the satisfaction of criticising me.”
“I doubt he sees it like that.”
“Yeah, and do you know him, do you?”
“Obviously not but he probably just thinks he’s being constructive, like.”
“He said the legs on my piece were lazy last week.”
“‘Lazy’ isn’t very constructive.” Claire agrees.
Tumblr media
Shane turns another page thoughtfully. “Some lads just say what they think and they don’t care about how it comes out, though. He’s probably like that.”
“He’s not.” I insist.
“Sounds like he’s got under your skin.”
“He hasn’t.”
“Alright so.” A pause. “Is this me?” He holds up the sketchbook on a page of drawings of a man’s head in profile. They’re done in brown pencil. He’s got a short-back-and-sides haircut and a bump on the bridge of his nose where it was once smashed with the butt of a hurl and never quite set back the right way again.
“Yes. That’s you.”
He looks at it again, saying nothing for a few moments. Then: “Can I have it?”
Tumblr media
“No, I need the sketchbook intact for my grade.”
“Well, can you put it online or something then?”
“Why would I do that?”
“So I can show it to people. Sure it looks exactly the same as me. I’d make it my profile picture and all.”
“Nobody wants to see my work online.” I say, going red.
“Oh they would!” Claire says. “Everyone is doing it now.”
“On Facebook?”
“No, Instagram.”
I pause. “What is that?”
She and Shane exchange a look as though I’m some old age pensioner who just had a ‘moment’, and I sigh with frustration. “I’m sorry, I don’t know what that is, apparently I’m technologically illiterate.”
Tumblr media
Claire whips out her brand new iphone to show me the cute little app that looks like a polaroid camera, and then scrolls through her feed, which is just pictures and more pictures, no text posts, no statuses, just photos. “Everyone with an iphone has it now.” She explains. “You just take pictures and upload them. You can edit them in the app and everything, and you follow your friends so you can see what they post too.”
“And everyone is doing this?”
“Yeah, it’s the new Thing. And look.” She opens up a search bar and types in the word “Art”, and immediately the screen floods with images of paintings and drawings. “You can look at what other artists are doing too. I think you’d really like it.”
“Hm.” I say. “Maybe.”
“Hand me your phone.”
Tumblr media
I obey her, and she starts tapping away at it. I watch as she downloads the app, signs me up for it, and then she follows both her account and Shane’s, who I can see has exclusively posted photographs of himself on the football field. Not content I’d be especially interested in, but I can always unfollow him later. She lifts the sketchbook off the couch and carefully turns to the page with Shane’s head drawings, and snaps a picture. She applies some brightening filter to it and then uploads it, and there it is. My first post on Instagram.
“Thank you.” I say.
Tumblr media
“Go through my follow list and see if there’s anyone else there you want on your feed.” She instructs me. “And like, find out who else in your drawing class has it. You can all compare your drawings and leave nice comments or whatever.”
“That kind of sounds like a good idea.” I admit.
“Listen to the good feedback, not just what stinky Dean Cullen says.” She strokes my hair affectionately. “You’re so good at drawing, I’d hate it if someone made you think that you aren’t.”
Tumblr media
“Thank you Claire. And Shane.” I say as I get up from the couch and start heading towards my room.
“We’re going to watch a film, if you want in.” Claire offers, but I shake my head.
“I think I’m going to keep drawing. I can do more studies of my own feet or something.”
“Okay, whatever you want.”

Eddie/Steve Imagine: Good Enough
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: I apologize for portraying baby boy Steve like this. Once again I’m on the late freight. Please enjoy!
Pairing: Steve x female reader x Eddie
Movie Quote Inspiration: "It's obvious she goes for laughs, not stability.” -Dave Hanson (Killer Klowns From Outer Space)
It was odd seeing Steve and Eddie together like this considering the circumstances. You kept peeking over your shoulder curious to see how Steve, your ex, was with your boyfriend, Eddie.
You kept smiling at how every time you looked, Eddie was always trying to strike up a conversation with Steve who didn’t look too enthused with entertaining him. You continued to walk with Nancy and Robin, careful not to draw any attention while in the Upside Down. There were more pressing matters than Steve and Eddie getting along.
There was no arguing or bad blood between them. They were being cool with each other and that’s what mattered right now.
Everything was fine, you reminded yourself. Steve’s moved on just like you had. Eddie was well taking everything in but with a good attitude. He was safe, everyone was. Everyone was good.
****
“I can see it in your eyes that you’re irritated with me,” Eddie squinted at Steve then leaned in close. “Are we good cause I did come down here to help out?”
“You came down here cause the girls did, so I wouldn’t give you too much credit for that.”
Eddie cocked his head nodding to himself then looked back at Steve. “Very true but it was also a choice. I could’ve stayed up there but I didn’t, did I?”
“Eddie,” Steve spoke stopping in his tracks. “We’ve been through this before,” he gestured to the three of you walking ahead unbeknownst to them stopping abruptly.
“I know that there’s something else bothering you. That’s why you’re being so hostile with me.” Eddie gauged Steve’s irritation. “It’s her, isn’t it?”
Steve bit his lip drawing his attention to your figure walking away reminding him of just how easily you seemed to get over him. He was astonished to find out that instead of going for him that you had settled for Eddie the Freak. It didn’t make sense to him when he could’ve given you the world.
“Look, Eddie, I’m sorry for giving you such a hard time. The truth is, I still care for her. I want her to be happy, I truly do but when I see her with you, it puzzles me. It's obvious she goes for laughs, not stability.”
Steve began to continue walking not feeling remorseful for what he said because it was the truth and he needed Eddie to know that. He was a child in his eyes and not worthy of you whatsoever. He was way in over his head being with you.
“Hey,” Eddie spoke up after a while, his tone serious. When Steve didn’t look back or acknowledge him in any way, Eddie gripped the vest he let him borrow and pulled him back to look at him.
“I love her, man. You can think what you like of me but never question or deny my love for her. I understand that you guys were an item back then and I’m sure she loved you too and still does but you will respect our relationship. I don’t know why she loves me. I don’t understand how she chose me out of anyone she could have had, especially the likes of you. I may not have it all figured out or seem the best fit but she loves me, so do me a favor and let’s put this behind us and work together to save the world.”
Eddie let Steve go and straightened out the vest. Steve looked at him for a moment, intaking everything he had told him. He nodded his head and so did Eddie. At that moment, Steve had a little more respect for Eddie.
The lines had been drawn. Now they both had a mutual understanding of one another and the importance of setting aside differences in order to work together.

Expected FAQs
Important Info:
This is an 18+ event.
This is an all-ships event.
No discord (can be made if people want it, but I'm not seeing a large response for this that would necessitate it yet)
The primary relationship for your fill must be a poly relationship.
Cheating does not count as a poly relationship.
All forms of content are accepted as long as ao3 allows it on their platform.
A couple helpful poly links:
More than Two
Terms: Their Glossary of Terms!
Prompts
Prompts are there for inspiration. They can be followed literally or figuratively. You can adhere to a trope, subvert it, or take it in a new direction. You can look up a definition for a word, or guess at the definition and see what you can create. Prompts can be taken as realistic, interpretive, or just plain weird. Prompts can be at the forefront of the work, in the background, or just the starting point of inspiration.
What does this prompt mean?
Whatever you want it to mean. Prompts are there for inspiration.
I don’t understand this prompt.
You can Google it or you can make something up and have fun with it. Prompts are there for inspiration.
My prompt is a quote. Is it required that a character say that?
No, it can be whatever you want: the title of the fic, the background words in an art piece, the overall concept of a piece, a song list where the titles spell out the quote, and so on. Get creative if you want to! Or just have a character say the quote if you want to! Prompts are there for inspiration.
I picked Hard Mode… Why would you make ___ a prompt?
Shhh, don’t ask questions. Just go with it. I believe in you.
Posting:
What are the event dates?
Posting begins as soon as the first bingo card goes out.
When do I get my card?
A unique Bingo Card will be issued within one week of sign-up. If it doesn't, send in a NON-ANON ASK.
- You may request up to 4 squares changed, and the request must be within a week.
Can I share my card?
Yes! You can share your card on any of your social media, with your friends, or in your servers.
Can I edit my card to cross off my fills?
Yes! Feel free to get creative with that and post updates on any of your social media, with your friends, or in your servers.
What happens if I don’t get a bingo?
Nothing! This is a low-pressure event meant for encouraging new poly works. If you don’t manage to complete anything or make a bingo, then nothing bad happens. You can just try, try again (but only if you want to!).
What counts as a bingo?
Bingos are any of the following: Rows, diagonals, columns, and/or four corners and the center. If you complete all the squares on your card, you have a blackout! Once you complete a bingo, you may request another one if you would like. You can do this as many times as you would like.
Tell me about blackouts.
A blackout is when you fill every square on your card with a unique fill. You are not required to get a blackout in order to request a new card. Once you receive a new card, your previous card is retired from this event, but you can still use the prompts as inspiration if you would like (but they will no longer count as a fill). You cannot combine prompts in order to fill them faster. Each prompt must have its own fill.
What counts as a fill?
Each fill must be completed and not posted behind a pay-wall. You can use one square per chapter of a multi-chapter fic if you would like, but each chapter must be a completed fill. If you are creating using other mediums, then we ask each fill be its own post, but they can, of course, be linked together
- 250 is the word count minimum.
- Art is any completed piece. Complete is defined as having all the necessary or appropriate parts. Art can be physical or digital and must be your own work. Art can include but is not limited to: sketch, line art, full render images, comic strips, 3D animation, 2D animation, fanvids (including music videos and trailers), photomanips, cell drawings, painting in all forms, sculptures, crafts, full cosplay photography, refracted light “painting”, wood carvings, ice sculptures, etc.
- Mood boards are a minimum of 6 pictures.
- Playlists need a minimum of ten songs.
- Podfics MUST have the owner’s consent and have it linked on AO3. Additionally, the fic being read must have a minimum of 250 words.
- Other creations, ask us and we will let you know what’s considered a fill!
- Collaborations are allowed and we don’t have any additional requirements for such.
- Cross-posting for other events is fine and we don’t have any additional requirements for such.
What about cheating?
Cheating does not count as poly for this event. For this, the minimum is three people actively and knowingly in a relationship with each other. That said, creations involving cheating are allowed. The cheating just needs to be outside the relationship.
Examples:
 - A&B together with C seeing B behind A’s back- NOT poly.
- A&B together, C&B together with A’s knowledge- poly.
- A&B&C all together - poly
- A&B&C getting together for the first time in any permutation - poly.
Badges
Will be posted as I'm able to make them and will be on the honor system. I plan to make four total (participant, bingo, multi-bingo, and blackout). You can add anything you want after downloading the png.
FAQs:
1. Are all ships allowed?
Yes! Just remember: the minimum is three people actively and knowingly in a relationship with each other. These people can be of any gender (or lack of gender).
2. Will we be able to fill cards with more than one ship or choose just one for the card?
You can fill it out with whatever you want!
3. Can I use Original Characters?
Yes, so long as the majority of the primary relationship contains Teen Wolf characters.
4. Do androids/life model decoys/intelligent fauna count as part of a ship?
- So long as they are capable of having an independent personality, have some form of communication, and you can sell it, then yes.
5. Can I use show, movie or old movie canon?
Yes! You can use any canon form, or mixed canon.
6. Does selfcest count as part of a ship?
Yes, so long as the duplicate/s remains as a consistent part of the relationship.
7. Can I do a crossover?
Yes, so long as the majority of the primary relationship contains Teen Wolf characters.
8. Can I collab with someone?
Collaborations are allowed and we don’t have any additional requirements for such.
9. I’m in multiple bingos. Can I cross-post if it fulfills the requirements of both bingos?
Yes. Cross-posting for other events is fine and we don’t have any additional requirements for such.
10. Cheating doesn’t count as poly, but cheating is a prompt!
A minimum of three people that are actively and knowingly in a relationship counts as poly for this bingo. If your work starts with cheating but there is a significant amount where all involved are in a relationship, then that is allowed. If someone or multiple people within a relationship are cheating outside of the relationship, then that is allowed.
11. Who is the mod?
@geekmom13 (failwolf13 on discord)
If I need more help, I'll bring another person on, but currently the response doesn't necessitate it

Holy hell, I get this AI Generated Images thing is the current trend, but I want it to shrivel up and die so much. It is annoying and sad to have to explain to people what it means to live in a basic capacity, that they are so unsympathetic and desensitized to see the reality of the situation they are making happen right in front of our eyes. Despite those who claim that AI 'Art' truly exists being so devout, human sweat and tears mattering little in comparison, their arguments fall flat at the most basic understanding of the technology they are using.
Yes, we are seeing a massive rise of AI power. Though no matter what you want to think, humans made it happen. A computer on its own cannot take your order at a restaurant, know what an art style truly is from years of experience, manage files in the way you ask it to, text through words we know, or speak in a trillion voices, without humans being the foundation for it to do so. It must know a base line, and it must get good feedback and data to improve. A computer cannot make anything that is art because of that lack of meaning, and in a legal sense, the fact that it is most likely taking many copyrighted materials, not for the intention of artistic reasons but because it would be nothing on its own. Unlike a human, which even at the simplest state of an infant, will make something simply to understand the world it inhabits and express such understanding, a computer can only mimic what such life is. It can only see examples of living and try to act as we do, even though it is still, in the end, nothing but what we make it to be. This is why it must steal voices, drawings, animations, writings, and any other form of art to make something that only copies patterns, often time without even a tiny bit of credit being given to those who it took from and leeches off of.
Those who claim we must embrace a new wave of art made by these machines and say this is the future that is somehow better for us are not only an embrassment to the present but also to the rest of human history. They saw an untold amount of time, where we once drew in caves to then be making our mark on the stars with symbols and devices that mean little to the universe at large but so much to us, and drew to the conclusion that somehow the humanity which got us so far suddenly became obsolete. They'd rather damn the rest of history as somehow showing that the goal was to elimnate art rather than let it flourish, than see that they are accepting a life of short-term gratification that only separates people further from one another, and that art was never made simply because it had to be some arbitrary goal of quality.
Art was made to transfer ideas, to show the most mundane parts of living to the grandest ideas we could only imagine. It was made to show what living was, what being human was across the world, and we've seen that what is made lasts. It all isn't perfect, but we see that those before us made an impact by the things they created, and whether they showed the worst or best part of ourselves, they showed one part of it that should be remembered. We must remember to not make the same mistakes, to remember what ideas we had, to use the past to see that no human is flawless and exempt from the self-reflection of morals and the creation of new thought life deserves we give it.
Art is a part of being human, one that is in us by design. We see it in the world in too many ways to speak of and in too many forms to even know of each one. Though no matter what form of art that human feeling of connection comes from, if you care for it, show that by standing up for such meaning in what we want to see. Stand up for those who create, who make things for us to love and be inspired by, who sometimes give us the will to keep moving at times where it may have been hard to do so, and who show somesort of humanity for us to see ourselves through, because anything made by human hands will beat out the mass-prodution of those who wish to turn tail to effort and deny the imperfection of art that is humanity, no matter the profit or delusion they desire for us to have.

Day 9: Harvey
Tumblr media
A.N: I had so much fun with this one, thank you Bad Dragons for the inspiration xoxo
Dr Harvey was nervous. Working with Lisseam was probably not going to be easy, and after the shy little warning he had given Harvey a few days before his appointment... well. To say he was worried was an understatement.
Dr Harvey was prepared to see medical abnormalities. Maybe an accident causing Lisseam to lose on of his... jewels... for lack of appropiate language or maybe a weirdly place birthmark.
The cock that was currently in his line of sight was NOT what he had in mind.
He has to admit, he knew that Lisseam was probably not exactly human. He's seen him stand watching a well placed bomb one meter away and not even flinch at the damage it'd cause him when it'd go off. And that split tongue of his was very well remembered by Harvey in his dreams. But seeing a dick like his was definately a surprise. Albeit a good one.
It was rigged right under the weirdly pointed head, several barbs sticking out symmetrically right through the center of the shaft. It curved elegantly (elegantly, deliciously, delightfully, all words the Doctor would never use out loud) up towards his stomach and slightly to the left. Most shocking of all, it seemed that closer to the base of Lisseam's cock, a sort of knot, akin to a canine's if he's correct, had grown. The tip was leaking. When had Lisseam grown hard? No wonder the poor boy was red in the face. He couldn't even look at Harvey in the face.
"Is that... a knot, Lisseam?"
Dr Harvey was sure his own face was as red as those tomatoes Lisseam grows on his farm, though he'd try to keep his professionalism up rather than let it stop him.
"Uh, I've been told it looks like one, sir."
"No need to use sir with me, Lisseam. We are friends after all aren't we?"
Friends definately don't stare at the other's hard dicks, but Harvey wasn't going to tell him that. Specially not when he was squirming like that.
"I'll just do some, uhh, check's and you can be on your merry way," he says this softly, "it won't take long."
But as he cups Lisseam's balls in hand, the draconic boy can't help but moan softly in surprise. It draws a gasp out of Harvey, but he chooses to continue on with his examination. It continues like that for a while, Lisseam trying to cover and play off those soft little noises whilst Harvey touches him in the name of checking his health. But both know that at some point it had become less about that than just trying to let each other go. Lisseam's huge stature was towering over Harvey's smaller one, shakey and hunched over. Harvey traces his thumb across the barbs on Lisseam's cock, pulling out a loud pleasured grumble from his chest. It's well past just a checkup at this point.
