Catalina: *groans* Hmm…

Alfie: Wake up. I thought you said you were supposed to meet up with Ginny and Dira today for the dress fitting?

Catalina: *muffled* Five minutes…

Alfie: I’d give you an hour if I could, but you told me you want to get there on time last night.

Catalina: *sighs* I’m so tired.

Alfie: I’ll make you your latte if you want to feel fresher. Maybe some croissants too?

Catalina: That sounds nice.

Alfie: Mhm. Now, go take a shower and come down for breakfast, okay?

Catalina: *yawns* Alright~

Catalina: Morning.

Alfie: Good morning. I’ve made you your latte and croissant.

Catalina: Thank you~

Catalina: Are you going anywhere today?

Alfie: Hm? Oh, yeah. I’m going to the palace this afternoon. Mum wants to meet me and talk about our schedule when we attend Leon’s wedding next month.

Catalina: I see…when are we leaving again?

Alfie: I’m not sure, but I’ll re-confirm it with mum later.

Catalina: Hmm.

Alfie: What’s wrong? Why aren’t you drinking it?

Catalina: Did the milk go bad? It smells…off?

Alfie: Really? Give me that.

Alfie: I think it smells fine to me?

Catalina: I’m serious, it smells bad. I don’t want it.

Alfie: Well, do you want tea instead? I can make you a cup if you want.

Catalina: It’s fine. I’ll get something else to eat later. I think I have to leave now. I don’t want to be late.

Alfie: Oh, okay. Don’t forget to eat, alright? Call me when you get there.

Catalina: Alright. I will.

Fae Bridal, Ahtolia

Catalina: *winces*

Ginny: Is everything okay?

Catalina: I’m fine. I just feel like the dress is a bit tight.

Ginny: Wait, really?

Catalina: Yeah. The chest area is the tightest part.

Ginny: Well, is it too late to alter it? We have a week left but I don’t want to make you uncomfortable.

Wonhee: I can alter it, ma’am.

Ginny: You can?

Wonhee: Yes. I’ll add it to my notes. Please excuse me.

Ginny: Alright. Thank you.

Indirah: You said your chest is tight? I thought it was just fine when we had our last fitting?

Catalina: Maybe I gained weight a bit. It’s been a while since we last came here. And my period is about to start too, so it can get sore sometimes.

Indirah: Huh, probably. Or you could be pregnant.

Catalina: Pfft, it can’t be. If I were, I’d know.

Ginny: I don’t know. I’ve read that period symptoms and pregnancy symptoms can be almost the same. Who knows? Maybe you are pregnant.

Indirah: Yeah. Ginny’s right.

Catalina: *scoffs* Eh~ We’ll see in a few days. If you guys are wrong, I want you guys to treat me to lunch!

Jack's Therapy Game Part 3 (From the beginning: -> here)

Lou and Jack are on their way to the Pub. Seems it's in Goldshire, where Vlad already playtested the game. They've been chatting on their way. Lou: "So, where do you live?" Of course Jack can't tell him that he comes from another world and this is just a game. Jack: "Uhm, to be honest, I have no place to stay here." Lou: "Ah don't worry. I'll take care of you." 'Take care'!? This reminds Jack of his Heidi dream nightmare where the Laird aka Kiyoshi 'took good care' of his people! All of them!

But this is just a game, right? He can quit anytime. Lou: "I have a guest room where you can stay. But let's care for the horses first and go to the pub. I'm thirsty and we have to celebrate your win! But remember, no one knows it's us who fought today. We're not Wolfsbane and Moonchild here - we're Lou and Jack. Only Barfolomew and - uhm... only Barfolomew knows." Jack: "Understood."

And so they reached Goldshire in the early evening.

They rode over to the stable where Diablo had stayed earlier. Jack: "Erm - I've heard they eat horses here, will they be safe?" Lou: "Of course they will. That's just one of those silly tales they tell strangers." Jack: "No way! We've been so worried!" Lou chuckled: "They mean no harm. Just don't let them pull your paw. To be honest: we are almost all vegans. No one eats no one here :3 "

Bunny to Valerian: 'This is my meadow! Step back or I will devour you like these lifeless leaves I just brutally ripped out of the ground!' Or not ^^'

Valerian, unimpressed: 'Sure.'

Lou: "I tell you what. You care for the horses and I'll get you your room ready. I'll be back in a minute." Jack: "Ok, thanks!"

Lou is so handsome!

There he goes. Seems Lunatic is not so convinced that the bunnies are of no harm ^^'

Sims poll time!

Me and my friend @happy-lemon largely fall on two opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to Sims storytelling. Hers tend to be more grounded in human reality and mine tend to be very aware that it takes place in a fantasy world. Her Sims act and speak like normal everyday people and mine tend to be aware that they're Sims and actively reference game tropes. The more I look around, the more I realize that a lot of Simmers tend to fall in one category or the other. So, with that explanation out of the way, which one are you?

Dorothy (Dee): I don’t do it because I hate how I look or anything, so don’t fucking project that shit or something.

B: [nervous chortle] Well, I wouldn’t’ve, regardless.

D: It feels… ‘Right’ isn’t the right word. I uh… Before I was doing it from… I guess it started when I was 10.

B: [shocked] What?!

D: I mean- it was more frequent from when we were 12 to 15. Then I stopped and went onto… other things. I’m a fucking addict, okay? I always have to be hurting myself in some grand way.

D: The medicine was making me nauseous before anyway… So, once I physically started getting [finger quotes] ‘better’, and up and doing shit and taking fewer meds? It felt… natural. I love and I hate it. But, I love it more than I hate it most of the time… I don’t want help, okay?

B: Dee… [uneasy sigh] I don’t know if you’re good at hiding shit or everyone is just bad at paying attention.

D: Both?

B: I wish you would’ve come to me about it then.

D: You were just a kid. The hell were you gonna do? Tell Dad? [sarcastic] I’m sure he would’ve been helpful.

B: So were you! … I don’t know. Maybe he would have been? Y’know, it could kill you, especially because of all the other health problems you’ve had. [glancing at Dee, sighing] Of course you do.

B: You still feeling sick?

D: [shrug]

B: God, you’re like a cat.

D: Huh?

B: Well, several things but y’know how they hide pain? They do it for their survival.

D: [nervous laughter]

B: You want to talk about what happened tonight?

D: [flat] No.

B: I don’t care that you were using- I mean, I DO care, but I’m not mad. It’s just that something obviously happened.

B: [pondering] … You mentioned Cason, did something happen with him?

D: [indignant] I said I didn’t want to fucking talk about it!

B: [disheartened] Okay… Well, I’m here.

[ THE SCENE STARTS WITH A VERSION ON LORRAINE. WE LOOK AT HER FACE STRAIGHT ON IN A LARGE GRIN. SHE’S HAPPY. WE SEE KAINAU LOOKING STRAIGHT AT HER FROM AFAR. THEY’RE BOTH HAPPY. NEXT THING YOU KNOW IT CUTS TO LORRAINE, SHE’S NO LONGER SMILING, AND WHEN WE LOOK BACK AT KAI HE’S NO LONGER THERE ]

this was a figment of her imagination, simply a memory or an illusion.

Lorraine is struggling, had she known what a fixture kainalu was in her life, maybe she’d have acted differently. This void is what she is beginning to notice.

making coffee, the scene is bright once again, she’s standing up in the same place, and kai is sitting behind her. with her back turned to him.

CLOSE UP ON LORRAINE TASK

FULL BODY OF KAI

With a cup of coffee in his hands, his leg up over the other. chatting happily with Lorraine. lorraine is chatting as well, she goes to turn her head,

and when she does, Kai is no longer there (visibly darker atmosphere)

L] It’s the only thing I can make.

K] (amused) Oh, I know.

L] laughing Give it back if you can’t be grateful.

K] laughs Never, I’ll take what I can get.

L] Shut-

L]… up.

kai stands in the kitchen, he’s cooking up a storm in lorraines penthouse. Music is playing, and the night is young. She goes up to kai, and pulls him into a dance. Where she has taken the lead, and spins him around. When he does the spin on her, she twists around. when she’s done spinning, Kai is no longer there. and she’s wearing something different. She curls up in her dark apartment. the light in her life no longer there.
