BEDROCK BROS THERAPIST & VILLAIN AU PART 2
Idk why yall loved this au sm, but honestly i’m not complaining because i love it too, they mean sm to me
Part 1: https://www.tumblr.com/issybettyx/713172720142155776/bedrock-bros-au
Quick catch up: tommy has therapy homework, wilbur and phil are mid argument, techno is beginning to realise just how bad tommy’s life has been
Enjoy :D
Tw’s: mention of attempted murder, robbery, mention of illegal fighting rings, manipulation
———
It was Sunday when Tommy found himself first listening to Techno’s advice.
“Theseus, what’s the status report?” Wilbur’s voice came through, the speaker in his ear a little crackly but nothing he couldn’t handle. They were on a mission to steal money from a higher-up citizen of the city named ‘Kyle Banks’, the man having earned his money mostly from inheritance from his parents who’d died in a car accident a few years prior. Tommy was the one sent in to steal it, his quick feet and swift thinking perfect for the operation at hand.
Currently, he was around a corner near the door to the man’s bedroom where they knew he kept his vault. There were two guards standing by the door he would have to take down without a sound, and suddenly his potion of sleeping felt heavy in his pocket. But it would smash, right?
Maybe if he opened the bottle and held his breath and threw the potion on them it would work?
“Theseus.”
“Right, status.” He muttered to himself, cursing himself for his incompetence. “Two guards are stood at his door, meaning he is present and likely asleep. The plan is to send the guards to sleep, get in, take the money, and leave before they wake up.”
There was a sigh from the other end of the line, and Tommy couldn’t help his frown, pulling out the potion and looking over the grey liquid that hardly sparkled in the dim lighting of the halls.
“Why not just kill them? Wouldn’t that be easier?” Phil asked him, a harsh edge to his tone that made Tommy rethink the liquid in his hands, fingers gripping tighter as he bit his bottom lip.
Don’t do anything you’re not comfortable with. Techno’s words rang through his head, his father’s words turning into muffled jumble before he promptly turned off his earpiece, taking it off and tucking it into one of his pockets. Then, he made sure his mask was secure over his face before quietly popping the lid off, throwing the contents right over the guards.
For a moment, there was nothing but confused mumbling as they looked in his direction. But then, they started to sway, eyes fighting against fluttering shut before they both started to fall. Tommy darted, quickly holding them before they fell and slowly lowered them to the floor. After a moment of searching, he found a set of keys, and he quickly placed them in his pocket as well before opening the door, looking in.
Kyle was lying asleep on his bed, mouth open and drool dribbling down his cheek. He wouldn’t wake up from a gunshot, Tommy thought with an amused huff, moving to the vault and making quick work of figuring out the code, taking out a large piece of tape and pressing it to the buttons. When he removed it, it revealed four different dirt marks which he related to the man asleep.
How stupid to make the password your birthday, he almost commented aloud as he pressed the buttons, the door clicking open.
Inside was a gun, a few envelopes and several wads of cash, all of which he stashed in a bag he’d brought before clicking the vault shut, turning to see the sleeping man in the exact position as before.
The window was pushed open, and Tommy jumped out soundlessly, letting it slip back shut perfectly behind him.
The police didn’t even no where to start.
“Why the fuck did you turn off your earpiece?” Phil practically spat, pointing an accusatory finger at him when he walked back through the door. But Tommy didn’t even acknowledge him, pulling out the cash and placing it on the table before moving to the kitchen. “Don’t ignore me!”
“He got the money, Dad, what’s the problem?” Wilbur returned, frowning as he pointed to the money. But the man groaned, Tommy quickly making himself a sandwich as he did so.
“That’s not my point. Sure he did it, but this is an extremely expensive piece of tech, and any reckless movements could’ve broken it.”
“We both know that’s not your issue.”
The room fell silent, and Tommy took a bite out of his sandwich, thinking about the letters in his bag before deciding he’d open them in his room, taking another bite as he stared at his Dad and brother.
Then, his dad turned to him, a sour look on his face that almost made Tommy shiver; but it was a look he was used to, a look of bitter disappointment.
“You should’ve killed them.”
For a moment, he thought of apologising, of promising he would do better and listen to his father next time. But then he remembered Techno, how he’d said not to do anything he wasn’t comfortable with.
Robbing a rich man was one thing, but killing two innocent guards in the process? What about their families? What about their future? What about their entire life leading up to that point, ending it out of pure fear for your own reputation?
It was stupid, and Techno hadn’t given him homework for nothing.
Tommy found he missed Techno.
But he was just his therapist, so he brushed away the thought, looking at his father with thinly veiled anger.
“If you care so much maybe you should’ve done it yourself.” He muttered, glaring at Phil was his chin high, the man pausing as his anger dropped for a moment, and then it was returned full force, teeth gritted as he clenched and unclenched his fists at his sides.
Before the other could get another word in, he left the room, leaving his brother and dad alone as he skipped up the steps.
Eventually, he got to his room, locking the door behind him before falling onto his bed, taking a deep breath before taking the letters out of his bag, staring at them with a strange adoration.
They were all addressed to the man he’d robbed, each sealed with an intent to stay sealed. Of course, that didn’t deter Tommy, who got it open with ease and slipped the papers out. There was a handwritten letter, the words neatly etched onto the page.
‘Dear Mr Banks,
I understand your schedule doesn’t have time to read through my insignificant letters anymore, but I beg of you to listen to what I have to say if only this once.
The company is under threat of decimation, someone in the villains organisation has leaked our goals to the hero committee, and without taking action soon we will be taken down.
Extra precautions will have to be put in place to keep the organisation safe; your wealth, your job and your life are at risk, and if we don’t ask soon then the ending will be anything but positive.
- J’
Huh.
He looked at the other letter, addressed to a person named ‘Johnathan Bernard’, the letter sealed the same as the other.
And, in strangely similar and still different handwriting, Tommy read the letter. It only added to his confusion.
‘Mr Bernard,
Thank you for reaching out about your concern for the company, and I do hope this letter finds you in good health.
I understand your worries, but even with the hero committee knowing of our plans, the company won’t falter. I built it up to be strong, to not fall to those not stronger than it, and I must reassure you that the company will survive anything the hero committee decides to throw at us. However, you did mention the villains organisation; are we sure they’re the ones who leaked it?
We have many allies, all of which are more likely to hand over our secrets to people like the hero committee. In fact, the villain organisation would be my last idea for leaking anything. Philza has them under control, and as long as they stay loyal we have nought to fear.
Updates would be appreciated.
- K’
It was so painfully forged that Tommy almost laughed, but he knew that no one else would be able to notice the similarities in the writing.
Nothing made sense.
Kyle Banks was known for his wealth because of his parents, not because of any company he owned. It wasn’t public that he was working at all, and whether the company was forged with the letters he wasn’t entirely sure. And for them to be reported to the hero committee? It couldn’t be anything good.
Johnathan Bernard wasn’t a commonly known man, but most people working alongside the villain organisation knew him. Mostly for his work in illegal fighting rings, betting money on people willing to sacrifice their lives for the entertainment of others. It was nothing Tommy had ever been interested in, but Wilbur had been invited one night (not that he went of course, instead he spent the night complaining to Tommy about the ignorance of some people).
The entire situation was more than Tommy’s overwhelmed mind could handle, so he slipped the envelopes shut and hid them among the books on his shelf, making sure they weren’t visible before slipping into bed.
His eyes shut the moment his head hit the pillow.
It was Thursday when Tommy couldn’t stop thinking about Techno.
For the entire week he’d been able to shove him out of his mind to focus on more important things, but stood outside of Tubbo’s house in the evening, dressed up a little nicer than usual because of the planned family dinner, he couldn’t stop letting the thoughts circle his mind.
Tubbo had asked him to come the day before, saying how he really didn’t want to go but would be willing if his best friend went with him, and his mother agreed.
If Tubbo murders your cousin, don’t immediately forgive him.
Well, it wasn’t exactly murder, and he wasn’t exactly Tubbo’s cousin, but this seemed pretty close to death, and it was definitely the boy’s fault. Techno would’ve been fit for the occasion, if he wore his usual frilled shirt and suit bottoms. Maybe he’d be overdressed, but who was anyone to judge? If anything, Tommy found it awesome how the man could dress so amazingly all the time, he wished he could relate.
Anywho, he stood at the door, hearing the chatter from inside as he rethought his life decisions, before finally knocking.
It was Tubbo who opened the door, a smile immediately spread across his face as he dragged the boy in by his wrist, giggling mischievously as he shut the door behind them. “Took you long enough, dinner won’t be another half an hour so we have time to kill.”
“Tubbo, and I mean this in the nicest way possible,” Tommy started as he was dragged up the stairs, smiling all the while, “If you have a hostage up here I am not helping you get information out of them.”
The boy huffed, and yet gave no indication Tommy was incorrect, and Tommy had to hide his shudder.
Despite only being 14, Tommy was one of the most skilled villains of the city. And, somehow, a short child scared him more than anything else did.
When they opened the door to Tubbo’s room, it was the same as it always was; the decorations were fitting (a lot of bees, random posters he’d found on the streets, a roof tile?), but you could hardly see them under the messy spell that the room was enchanted with - bed unmade, too many empty monster cans dotted around, clothes scattered across the floor.
Nothing was inherently off about the room, but Tubbo’s grin told him he was missing something.
After the bedroom door shut behind them, the brunette skipped to his wardrobe, not wasting a second before pulling the door open, revealing-
“Tubbo I was joking about the hostages!” Tommy immediately yelled, covering his mouth when the boy shot him the harshest glare.
Sat inside the closet, long legs pulled up to his chest, was a boy. A tall, brunette, absolutely petrified boy. His mouth and hands were tied, eyes a shimmering grey eyes. Except, his mouth wasn’t exactly tied, more-so his mask.
“He’s not a hostage, he’s my friend.” Tubbo tried, still grinning. Tommy gave the taller boy a short glance, watching him slowly shake his head in a way that was subtle enough for Tubbo not to notice. “His name is Ranboo.”
Tubbo slowly took off Ranboo’s gag, and the boy took a steadying breath, eyes meeting Tommy’s again.
“My name isn’t Ranboo, it’s-“
“Well it is now!” Tubbo tried, and the other fixed him with an incredulous look. And yet, he didn’t argue, sighing before holding his tied hands out towards the other, who undid them with a hum. “I found him on the street, he needed somewhere to stay.”
“So, let me get this straight,” Tommy started, pinching his nose as the other two looked at him. “Ranboo needed a place to stay so you kidnapped him, hid him in your closet, and lied to me about dinner?”
The lying about dinner would be assumed, otherwise he’d already be able to smell the food as the steam curled from the oven.
Tubbo nodded, smiling all the while.
Ranboo looked torn between screaming and laughing.
Tommy could only think about Technoblade.
“Tubbo, that’s-“ he sighed again, frowning as he looked at the other. “You can’t just do that to someone.”
At this, Tubbo seemed unreasonably confused, brows furrowed in utter bewilderment. Ranboo, however, seemed to ease a little, knowing at least someone was on his side. In Tubbo’s defence, Tommy usually went along with his chaotic schemes, dragging the blonde with him who had way better things to be doing - taking down organisations, arson, killing people, the usual - and wasn’t exactly fond on the idea of hurting people for no reason.
“Why not?” He asked, almost curious as he spoke.
“Because- I don’t know, you could’ve hurt him? Traumatised him? Got yourself arrested?” Tommy listed off, leaning on the back of the door with his arms crossed over his chest. “You shouldn’t kidnap people, it’s not nice big man.”
The other seemed to listen to the words, blinking before looking at Ranboo, the man standing as he brushed down his clothes.
“Oh.” Was all he could get out for a moment, eyes staying fixed on the floor as he bit his bottom lip, before finally glancing back up with a frown, a sad look flickering in his deep brown eyes. “I’m sorry Ranboo.”
It seemed the other wanted to argue, maybe point out the fact it wasn’t his name again. Instead, he nodded, opting to ruffle Tubbo’s hair, forcing the boy to squawk before shoving him away, his frown much more fake than just a moment before.
Tommy watched on with a growing smile.
He couldn’t wait to see Technoblade again.
Tommy waltzed into The Therapy Building TM, two bouquets of flowers in hand as he made his way towards the counter, quickly placing one before the woman behind the counter could look up. When she finally did, she smiled, taking them from the wooden counter top to study them.
“Before you say anything, it’s not a gesture, that would be very unpoggers.” Tommy told her, swaying on his feet as she looked back up at him, a warm smile pressed to her face that made his cheeks flush red, looking to the hallway instead. “Everyone deserves flowers from time to time.” He muttered out finally, not expecting her to let out a light laugh, studying the colours before pulling out a vase, filling it with water from a nearby water bottle and placing them inside, assorting them to perfection.
“Thank you, Tommy.” She told him, and Tommy smiled back, heading off in the direction of Techno’s office.
It was only the third week, and yet Tommy found himself growing more and more comfortable by the day, knocking without an ounce of hesitation.
“Come in!” Techno’s deep voice called, and Tommy wasted no time, strolling in with a smile before falling into the seat. Techno eyed the bouquet for a moment, and didn’t take his eyes off of it when it was placed in front of him.
Several species of flowers Tommy had specially chosen lay inside, some pink and some red.
Carnations, lotus, tulips, lilies- he’d basically just asked them to add a load of pretty flowers, and he thought they did a decent job of it.
“I-“ Techno cut himself off, slowly picking up the flowers to study them closer, just as the lady behind the counter had. He really had to get her name some day soon. “Why?”
“I like flowers, but people don’t receive flowers often enough, so,” he motioned to the bouquet, smile only growing alongside Technoblade’s confusion, “Flowers.”
The man hummed, looking around his room for a moment before taking a strangely tall glass, placing them in there without water (likely a temporary holder). “I’ve never been given flowers before.” He confessed, looking at them with such warmth Tommy’s own smile started to hurt. “Thank you.”
His heart stuttered.
The Techno just thanked him?”
Something wasn’t right with the world anymore.
“It’s my pleasure big man.” Tommy told him with a grin, and Techno glanced back him, eyes half-lidded - not in exhaustion, rather in concentration.
And then- “How was your week?”
Tommy’s smile faltered.
At that, Techno’s warm look weakened, patient as ever as Tommy collected his thoughts.
“Well,” he said before coughing, looking out of the window at the trees below, cars winding through them on smooth roads, “I did my therapy homework.”
The man continued to wait.
It reminded Tommy a little of their first session just two weeks before.
“I- I was told to do something, something bad,” I didn’t want to shoot them, I didn’t need to shoot them- “And I told him no, I told him I didn’t want to.”
Techno gave him a saddened look for a moment, and it was masked within the second and replaced with something dangerously neutral. “Who’s ‘he’?”
Now, this was a tricky one.
It was a simple answer, really. One word, one name that in fact didn’t suit the man at all.
But it was a risky answer. That one word could give him away, give the organisation away, and Tommy didn’t want to be the bearer of such a burden-
Then again, therapy was about being honest, right? And it’s not like Techno would figure out he was the Theseus, world renowned villain, infamous for his agility and intelligence, all from him saying his Dad wasn’t the best man on the planet.
“My Dad,” he finally replied, after the minutes dragged on into what felt like hours. Techno sighed, whether it was relief or sorrow, Tommy wasn’t sure. “He- he’s in his own world most of the time, has his own rights and wrongs, so on and so forth.”
Tommy shut his mouth then, knowing that if he said much else they’d all be doomed.
Tommy would be doomed, Phil would be doomed, Wilbur would be-
“I’m going to say something, and this doesn’t mean your Dad’s actions are okay,” Techno started, and all Tommy could manage was a frown, “But sometimes people are stuck in their own worlds, they have their own lives and storylines where they are the protagonist. They’re saving everyone in their own mind, and they don’t realise just how damaging it can be for those around them.”
“Now, Tommy, have you heard of the Philza?” His Dad asked him one night, his smile warm as he looked down at his five year old son, who’s smile was as bright as the sun and hair as much so, blue eyes eerily reminiscent of those staring at his own.
Tommy grimaced, scrunching up his nose as he nodded.
“He’s a bad man, he hurts people.”
“He hurts people for the greater good, Toms,” he Dad explained, and Tommy made sure to lean in closer and make sure he heard every word his father spoke. “When all of the truly bad people are gone, Philza will be seen as a hero.”
“So,” Tommy tried, yawning before snuggling closer to his Dad, “Philza isn’t a bad man?”
“Most people think he is, but he isn’t.” His father went silent for a minute, fingers pulling across his scalp as he hummed. “Would you say I’m a bad man, Tommy?”
A realisation dawned on the young boy. His childish heart told him it was excitement and adoration. As Tommy grew older, he knew it was a flutter of newfound fear.
“You’re Philza?” Tommy practically breathed out, jaw dropped as his Dad laughed, something bitter lacing his chuckles that Tommy hadn’t been able to spot before.
“I am Toms, I am.”
Tommy doesn’t remember the rest of the conversation.
He was surprised he’d remembered any of it at all.
“Do you like living where you do right now?” Techno asked when he realised the blonde was deep in thought, catching his blue eyed gaze with a strange curiosity.
Did he?
Wilbur was there. He liked Wilbur. Wilbur fought for him, fought for them both. His brother wanted out just as much as he did, but they’d both been caught in their father’s web with no way of getting back out.
Sometimes he told himself he didn’t mind the constant yelling, the screaming matches he’d walk in on.
Sometimes he told himself he didn’t mind the ear-splitting silence, something abhorrent coating his family’s features as they looked anywhere but each other.
Sometimes he told himself the constant anger simmering under his surface was nothing but hot ashes from a long-gone-out fire.
Maybe, if he was given the chance to leave, he’d do it in a heartbeat.
“Not really.”
“Who do you live with?”
He bit his lip, covering his shut eyes with his palm.
Being emotionally vulnerable was never truly his forte.
“My Dad and brother, but my brother is really the only one that sticks around.”
“What’s your brothers name?”
Siren. “Wilbur.”
Techno hummed again, picking up a pen and tapping it lightly against his arm.
And then- “Did you stop Tubbo from killing your cousin?”
Tommy laughed, his smile only a tad forced as he giggled. “I mean he did kidnap a child, so not really.”
The man paused.
Tommy paused too.
“In a video game.” He added, but the excuse was weak, and Techno had already seen the truth in his words.
“Is-“ he started, lost for words as he squinted his eyes, a weak attempt at trying to figure it all out. “Is the child okay?”
“Mentally? I don’t think so. But not from the kidnapping.” He was just making it worse, in retrospect. “He was running from somewhere and needed a place to stay, so Tubbo kidnapped him and tricked me into coming to his house to see him.”
Techno cocked his head, it was almost puppy like.
Tommy knew that if Techno was a puppy, he’d be that really yappy white dog, the one that got annoyed at every living thing it saw and then proceeded to rip it’s neck off it’s-
“Did you forgive him?”
Tommy grinned, lifting his chin triumphantly before shaking his head. “Nope! I told him to apologise to the traumatised man-child, who’s called Ranboob by the way, and then we played Monopoly for the evening. I forgave Tubbo when he gave me a hundred to pay rent on Ranboob’s property.”
The other man seemed a little thrown off, but Tommy continued to smile, so eventually a smile crept up onto his own face.
“Well, you certainly had a week didn’t you?” Techno scoffed, and Tommy rolled his eyes again, leaning back into the comfortable chair as he looked at the flowers, his smile turning more warm that prideful.
“That’s one way to put it.”
He still had to figure out what Kyle Banks’ company was. He still had to figure out why the letters were forged. He still had to find a way to leave the villain organisation overall.
But he’d done a few good things. Taken a few, small steps.
Sure maybe he’d put a few men to sleep and did a little robbery.
Sure his kill-count was too high for any teenager, or any living being at all.
Sure he saw his therapist as more of a father figure than his Dad had ever been.
But he’d taken a few steps.
They say babysteps, right? Can’t do everything all at once.
“You did what now?” Techno drawled, pulling him out of his thoughts with a startle, eyes wide as he slapped a hand over his mouth.
Which part did he say out loud?
“Nothing, that was a joke.”
The man didn’t seemed convinced, a stressed hand running through his hair as he took a shaky breath.
“Tommy.” He sounded more tired, and maybe a little sad, than angry. Which was confusing. “What men did you put to sleep?”
Thank god I didn’t say the kill-count, that would’ve been terrible.
“I sang them to sleep, with my amazing voice.” Tommy continued, grinning no matter how forced he knew it looked. Techno was completely unimpressed.
He had to get out of there before he let anything else slip.
“Listen-“
“Oh, big man! Look at the time!” Tommy interrupted him, jumping up out of his chair and already walking towards the door, ignoring the pained look on the other’s face. “Well, I’ll see you next week yeah?”
“Tommy-“
“Bye!”
The door slammed shut.
Tommy left the building.

Help finding a fanfic!(could contain spoilers)
I have been trying to find a fic for a while now and just can't figure out what it's called. Idk if it's been taken down or what but I want to read it again. It's a SBI hero/villain centered around Bedrock bros. Tommy and Techno are piglin hybrids, techno a brute and tommy a runt, 3/4 sbi are villains I think. Tommy is evil hero dreams brother and uses him to find weaknesses of piglins to fight techno. I think quackity is a lawer in later chapters that sapnap calls up to go against dream? It starts with tommy finding techno in an alley and their instincts cause them to bond and techno takes him home(not really kidnapping but could be idk) and Tom meets the fam. They descover dreams bad to him and want to keep him.
I don't remember much else but I forgot to save it and now I can't find it please help!

A State of Gainsay
Word Count : 5,551
Warnings : Description of violence, The turning process of a watcher, Death, Grief : Denial, Revival
This is part 1 in a 5 part series.
POV : Tomathy Innit MineCraft
Note : Tommy does not cuss in this AU.
May 17th, Tuesday, 11:05pm
Tomathy, an 17 year old who works at L'Bucks, is almost done with his shift when he sees a light of purple shoot past the windows at the fleeing figure of a winged man. He goes to take a break from cleaning a coffee maker to take a peek out the window and sees Dream, the second in command of the L'Manburg county's hero team Dream Complex, fighting Vulture, the leader of the villain group Syndicate. The villain's left wing looked like a few bones were out of the spots they're supposed to be in. He went back behind the counter and resumed the cleaning of the products. After a few minutes he leaves through the back alleyway to not get caught in the fight. What he doesn't realize is the sound of Dream's power is gone, and thus the fight is over. As he's walking he finds the unconscious body of Vulture and leans over him. He starts setting the man's bones, and ends up waking the bird up. "Hey, I'm trying to help you. Don't kill me," Tommy softly says to the man, trying to stay calm himself at the same time, "I know how hard it may be to not panic." He is allowed to fully set the bones of the wing and is able to use his power to heal him. He continues his walk home at a faster pace then usual and notes that his two roommates and best friends, Ranboo and Tubbo, aren't there when he's home at 11:26pm again.
May 18th, Wednesday, 2:49pm
Tomathy is making an order for Aunt Lizzie when Quackity came in with a few friends, talking about healing. He listens in while his aunt is watching the TV.
"Seriously though, Phil. We do need a healer," his manager spoke softly in loud, whisperIng voice. "Yeah, yeah. We do just fine on our own. We don't have any need for a healer," the strange winged man replied. Quackity gave a doubtful look at the winged man before speaking, "I'm not gonna pretend I didn't see Tommy heal you last night. You were on the brink of death, dude."
Tommy stopped listening in on the conversation and focuses on work a little bit more then usual.
7:27pm
When he got home, Tubbo was playing on his phone in the dining room while Ranboo was quite literally nuking ramen in the microwave. "Boo, why are you cooking?" Tommy asked sternly while getting rid of the flaming ramen. "Tubbo wanted food!" "Then why didn't you just make a honey nector sandwich?" "Yeah, Boo?" Tubbo pops in, teasingly. "Why didn't you?" Tomathy smacked his best friend in the forehead, "You hush.. Mother Hen is taking care of this." The three barely contained their laughter before Tommy actually got onto the two for even thinking of letting one of them cook while Tommy made scrambled eggs and waffles.
June 7th, Monday, 4:02pm
Tommy made it to work, and immediately he is taken aside by Quackity. "Yeah, Bossman? What'd you need?" "Tommy, this is important. You must not say even a singular word of this, alright?" Tomathy nods, skeptical as Quackity is never like this. "Phil wants you to join the Syndicate. You already know one or two identities because of me, and if you decline you may die." Tommy is shocked, "Do I have to decide right now..?" "He said you'll have a week to tell me." Tommy nods, thinking about it while getting back to work.
June 9th, Wednesday, 11:03pm
Tommy started to walk back home from work when the ground started to fall beneath him, and a his arms are forcefully lifted up. "..Tubs?" Tommy says, hoping it's right. "Try 'Shadow,' To- Boy," A rough, familiar voice replies. It took a little bit for them to get to their destination, with this 'Shadow' guy making awkward jokes.
11:37pm
They make it to a cottage out in a forest, and that's where Tommy gets to see this dude's face. Turns out, he's Vulture. "It feels so weird to be in this form," Vulture mumbles. Tommy perks up at this, as Vulture is constantly in 'this form.' "My power's shapeshifting," 'Shadow' tells him, starting to ruffle Tommy's hair while they started to sit on the grass right next to a tree. "I will bite your hand if you don't stop petting me, Big S," the child warns. The hand does not lift, so Tommy bites the guy's hand, and sees him shift into a genderbent version of Quackity for a split second then into a navy-colored haired man. "Quackity?" The man looks up a tad bit. "Wait, I was scared of Big Q?" The man goes back to looking at the grass. "You okay..? You're nor-" "Shadow! Why did you bring the child?'" the real Vulture says, cutting Tommy off. "Not safe.. Code XD," Quackity mumbles. Vulture gasps, and brings Tommy into the house, and turns on the news. "Welcome to Everest News. This is Lauren Side with your Hero Update! Xavier Dean, much better known as the leader of the Dream Complex, father of number one hero Dream himself, and XD,  has been seen killing a innocent vigilante called 'Bee.' This vigilante was in the middle of helping an old woman across the street at the time of the murder. XD is no longer a hero, and instead is in jail. We have identified Bee as the civilian Tubbo Underscore. His partner, Ender, and friends will dearly miss him. Thank you for tuning in!" The room was udder silence. "He tried it to get me under his roof again, too," Quackity added. Vulture took off his mask when he called for his son, Wilbur, and the man was crying. "His father killed Bee, too," Phil said to his son. His eyes grew wider, and his fists clinched. "Tubbo is Toms' best friend and roommate," Quackity yet again adds, "And code XD for me too. That's why I brought Tommy, actually." Wilbur nods, and brings him to the room across from the one he came out of. The room contained a desk with a computer on it, and an axe hanging above. A bed with a blanket made with a red cotton and 3 fluffy white pillows was set for someone. There was a brown couch, and many blades on the wall next to it. There was a pig plush right next to the computer, and a rug with a pig's face on it in the middle of the room. The walls were painted a maroon color, a huge contrast from the baby blue walls of the living room, kitchen and hallway. Wilbur brings him into a tight hug. "Be.. Before Te-Tech di-ed, he-- he was ta.. talking about how y-you and The.. Theseus are alike," Wilbur said, sobbing and hiccuping in between breaths.
June 10th, Thursday, 3:28pm
"Hey, Tommy, wake up," A familiar voice says, "You've got a shift today." He opens his eyes slightly to see who's talking to him, because Tubbo would never talk to him so sweetly, nor would Ranboo's voice be able to reach that low with his voice. He sees Quackity, and remembers that he was in Vulture's house. "How long is the drive to L'Bucks?" "Around a 20 minute drive, Theseus," Wilbur says from the doorway. "And I want my hot choccy Bubba would always get for me while he got bitter coffee." "Wait, you're Tech's brother?" Tommy said, putting two-and-two together, "He was always talking about his whiny little brother who would be best friends with me." "I am not whiny!" "Anyways, get out the room while I get dressed, Athena," Tommy adds, teasingly. "I am not Athena! If anything, Dadza would be her considering he's too much of an empath!" Wilbur defended. Tommy kicked the taller men out of the room, and grabbed the uniform Quackity had left on the desk. He was in the room from earlier with the axe on the wall. It reminded him so much of his second favorite villain, BloodBlade.
Once he was done putting the uniform on, he checked the clock. 3:32pm. He opened the door after putting on the scarf Tubbo had knitted for him while he was alive. "Quackity's going to drive you to L'Bucks, please bring back the order Tech would always get, except the Frappé when you get off work," Phil had informed and asked him. "Tell Quackers over there to remind me. I may not have Boo's memory, but I won't remember that after 7 hours of pure work." "Sure thing, mate."
June 12th, Saturday, 12:28pm
Tommy had gotten back to the apartment on the 11th, but Ranboo hadn't been back at the apartment in over 24 hours. When Tommy had gotten back, it was 11pm and Boo left as soon as he saw Tommy. Jump in the c-BEEP! Tommy answered the call he got from the contact 'spooderphobia at its max.' "WHERE IN THE NAME OF CREEPER ARE YOU?!" "Hey, calm down," the man on the other side tries to reason, "I'm fine." "The fact I can hear SLEEPBOY talking to SNAPMAP in the back tells me otherwise." "Ender, who have you called?" Mushroom asks, seemingly to Ranboo. "Erm, my roommate, so he wouldn't get too worried..?" Ranboo answers. "You are a vigilante," Tommy states, "And you never told me?" Ranboo's phone picks up air, then suddenly stops and Ranboo whispers, "Y-yeah..?" "You could have at least told me! I would rather be able to know why you have strange bruises and cuts then have to pretend to be oblivious! At least then I could have tried to help you." "S.. Sorry." "It's fine." "Alri-" Ranboo is able to get out before he loses signal.
8:57pm
Tommy is debating on if he really should join the villains now that his roommate is now literally working with the heroes. "Toms, I'm home!" "About time! Quick question, do they know your actual identity?" Tommy asks. The tall 16-year-old shakes his head in a 'no.' "What's your perspective on Heroes and Villains?" "Villains would be good if they could actually get the help they need or the heroes stop picking fights with them, and heroes are manipulate people who bribe the news into only showing the good things about them." "What would you think of joining the Syndicate?" "..The Syndicate?" Ranboo asks in disbelief, "We'd have to find them first, and not get killed to ask! If we could, I would so join them!" "Thanks, I'll ask if you can join too since you're my roommate."
June 13th, Sunday, 3:08pm
Ranboo and Tomathy are waiting for Phil to arrive at the door. Knock Knock "Comin'!" Tommy called, running to open the door. Phil walks in, Civilian clothes on. "It's time to make your choice." "I've got one request, can Ranboo join, too?" "If you accept, indeed." "I accept. One thing, heroes have tracked down our apartment." Phil nods at this, calling for Quackity who now has wings. "Can you get these two to the house?" He asks, and Quackity nods. "Tommy, I'll fly you there again. Ranboo, Phil can take you."
June 14th, Monday, 10:59pm
Tommy walks over to the window at the noise, peeking through the curtains. He sees Creeper and Dream fighting. "You know," Creeper says, breathing quite hard while dodging an attack, "I wanted to be like you before you killed my bloody brother." A quiet hum came from Dream in response as he teleported behind Creeper, and put him in a death hold. "Hah," Creeper laughs, "How the ship has sunk, the most inseparable pair of Philip High trying to kill eachother." "Wilby would never act like you," Dream said, putting his sword to Creeper's throat. "Kill me, and live with the guilt when I'm unmasked. Leave me, and I'll stay silent about identity. You're choice, Clay." Tommy closes the window, and walks around and out the back door.
11:23 PM
The door creeks as Ranboo and Tommy walk into the house. Wilbur is crying while sitting on a couch, Phil soothing the boy. Tommy walks over to the two. "Hey, Wilby," Tommy says while Wilbur gives an even more pained look, "Where does it hurt? I.. I can heal it." Wilbur lifts his right arm up, covered with pink-ish bandages. Red is still slowly oozing out from beneath the plasters. Tommy walks over, and sets his hand atop the bandages, and looks towards Phil. "I'm trusting you set the bone?" A nod is the only response he gets before using his power. He closes his eyes, and is able to actually relax as he focuses on the injury. The more relaxed he is, the faster it will heal. A slight blue glow comes from under his hand as many wounds slowly close beneath the bandages. Once it is done, Tommy asks the brunette if there's any more wounds. Wilbur shows him his left hand, cut and bleeding. Phil audibly gasps, and tears start to form. Tommy heals each wound on the hand carefully, making sure not to upset a single nerve. "Thank you," Wilbur says, slowly looking up. "My neck, too, if you would?" Tommy leans down to more easily reach the wound on his neck and heals it. "Phil, I'm gonna drag Wilbur over to my and Boo's room, if you don't mind." "Ofcourse!" Once they get to Ranboo and Tommy's new room, still a work in progress since they had just learned they were being moved to Phil's house at 11:18 PM, Tommy sits down on the red bed while Wilbur sits across from him on the black-and-white bed in the otherwise empty room. "Wilbur..?" Tommy starts. "Hm?" "..Are you.. Perhaps.. Creeper..?" Tommy gets out. Wilbur looks stunned as he slowly nodded.
June 15, Tuesday, 5:03 PM
Quackity had given him a few days off so he and Ranboo could unpack their stuff. Tommy took out a few bookshelves, and rebuilt them. He took out BeeInnIt, and him on his bed. He put up a few Vulture and BloodBlade posters, and put up the fan art he made when he was younger. He put a plush of a flying pig up on the top shelf of a bookshelf, and put a few books up from his childhood. He put the 'Employee of the Month' picture up over a foldable desk. He put bee stickers over the desk, and started to set his pc up. Once he was done, and went to sit down on his bed and look at Ranboo's side of the room. The portion Ranboo had has a giant bee plush on the wall next to the bed, and a bookcase full of fantasy books with the Barbie movies. A TV was placed in the split of the two's room. "Boo? Do you feel up to making the drawers right now?" Tommy perks up, seeing the other sitting on the bed, panting. Ranboo checks his phone, "Maybe in the mornin. We've worked for three hours straight." "..You're kidding." "Nope it's 8:27."
June 16th, Wednesday, 6:09 PM
Tommy walks out, and is greeted by his favorite alive cousin, Niki. "Hey Toms! I want you to meet my brother Jack. He is known as Blaze. I'm Flower." "Ah, alrighty."
-----
"Samuel, SHUT UP!" a tall brunette man yells across the table. "I still don't think we should be the Dream Complex!" says Samuel, the black-haired man. "Brother. Sam. Please stop yelling. You're hurting Gog's ears," A female brunette says. The taller brunette looks at the shorter next to him. "Gogy, I'm sorry." His face gets slapped. The female, being the only reasonable one here, suggests a vote to change the name. A agreement is settled. The names chosen to be voted on are Dream Complex, Dream Team, Dream 'n Co, and Men and a Girl. The rules are as follows; Your cannot vote more then once, or for your own. Dream Complex gets no votes, as expected. Dream Team gets 3 vote. Dream 'n Co gets 1 vote, and George gets a smug grin. Men and a Girl gets no votes, and Sam shouts he couldn't think of anything and started to panic. The push out a news letter saying that their name has been changed to 'Dream Team.'
-----
June 20th, Sunday, 6:38 PM
"Pesky!" Tommy screeched, overjoyed to see his brother again. "TomToms! I see you've found Father!" Grian says, gliding down with his red, blue, and yellow wings. "..Found.. Father..?" Grian's ear feathers twitch before he nods. "Did you not realize Phil was our dad?" "..I didn't realize we had a dad in the first place." The two burst out laughing at the embarrassing moment. "..So that means a hero is..?" Tommy trailed off. "Yes. A hero is related to villains. Actually, Tubs is on the trail of being able to join HermitFusion. Where even is he?" Tommy let out a choked wail before responding. "Dead, he's dead just like The Blade. Gone, dead." Horror crosses Grian's face. "He.. He can't-- You're joking, right? Yeah! Ye-Yeah! This- This is just a terrible prank or.dream and I just can't wake up! Haha! Yep!" Ranboo comes out their room, eyes puffy. He sees Grian and runs over to the shorter man. He hugs him as tight as he can. "Don't- Don't die on me, like- like Tubbo did." Tears started to fall from Grian's eyes as he knew Tubbo was dead. Phil rushes to Grian and wraps his wings around his, pulling Tommy in. "Grian, thank you for doing as I asked. Thank you, I knew I wouldn't be able too raise him very well after Kristen died." "It's fine and not a problem, dad." "Thank you," Phil continued, sobbing. Tommy joined in on the hug. "I brought someone with, if you don't mind. A few someones, actually." Tommy and Phil broke away from the hug and stepped to see who it was. A petite brunette with green all over her outfit. Her eyes, too, were green. She had her hair pulled back into a ponytail. She had few wounds. Next to her was a tall brunette man. He had a mask around his head that resembled a head of a hog. He had a sword on his waist, being held by a amber-brown belt. He suffered many scars, his eyes of blood red. It took Tommy a second, but he finally registered who he was looking at as BloodBlade, someone who had died. BloodBlade introduced the girl as Clara, or Dream Complex- Dream Team -'s  healer, Drista. "I'd like to join the Syndicate. I do not agree with my brother's ways."
June 23rd, Wednesday, 2:01 PM
Shlatt had invited Tommy to Tubbo's funeral, and Philza went with. He did have to pay respects to his nephew, and check up on his family. "Liz? You actually dyed your hair pink!" "Oh! Phil! I need to introduce to you Joel! He's the father-" "You had CHILDREN?! And without telling me?" Phil cuts her off, jokingly offended. "Father of our fur-babies. We have two cats." she continued. A few moments later, the actual funeral started and they payed respects.
2:28 PM
Tommy was walking out, and chatting with with his father, aunt, and uncle when he saw a flash of purple. Hands grabbed his shoulders, and he was teleported back to Phil's house. Tommy turns around, and falls into Shlatt's arms. "Thank you, Uncle." "No problem, Toms."
June 29th, Tuesday, 2:57 PM
Tommy woke up, his arms tied around him. His mask was on while was patrolling earlier in the day. They'd finally come up with his name, Theseus. He'd encountered Mushroom, and at that very moment he was put to sleep. His mask wasn't there. "Ah, looks as if he is awake," Dream's voice booms from above him. A silence is spread across the room. "Reveal some secrets of the Syndicate." Dream demands. "W-what?! No!" Tommy yelps. Turning to a door, Dream says, undoing the ropes, "Hm. Xqulea, dispose of this boy. We in the Dream Team no longer need him." Grian walked out in his hero form, panicked. "P-Pesky..?" Tommy mumurs. "What was that? You wanted to be tortured before dying?" Tomathy burst out in tears, jumping up and running to hug his brother. "Pesky, are-are you okay? Why are y-you here? I-Isn't HotG-Guy and Whisper su-supposed to be f-fighting over your l-love? W-Where's Mum..?" "Shh.. Little, Gem is sick right now. I just got found by Dream and his squad. I'm okay. I'm sure Hot is getting his butt beat right--" "Ehem. Xqulea, you're supposed to be killing the boy." "Dream, if you wanna be like Sam you can. I, on the other hand, am not going to kill my baby brother." "I am not like the Killer Rabbit!" "That's what he forced me to do. Luckily enough, Toms wasn't there for him to actually be able to make me." "Oh, wait, so Theseus is Tommy, now hm?" Silence. "He may leave, alive."
July 19th, Monday, 11:37PM
Tommy is in his costume, patrolling with his father, Quackity, the pesky birb, and his emotionally adopted mother, Gem Tay or Crystalline. While walking, he thought about when Day talked about how Charlotte had met someone named Gemini. "Hey, Crystie?" Tommy starts. "No, no no no no," Quackity starts freaking out. Philza grabs the shaeshifter and gently holds him still, keeping his hands in view of Quackity's eyes and knowledge. "Hey, bud, it's me, Vully. Hey, hey look! Look, stupid bird wings haha!" He says, flapping his wings a little bit. "C-Cover.." "Mhm! Ofcourse! Now, I want you to remember that Theseus was not calling you that. Remember, Crystalline is here and is his emotionally adopted mother," Phil says, trying to soothe the traumatized shapeshifter while covering the group with his wings. "Greetings, Syndicate. Mayhaps I ask why you lot are all huddled in a cuddle?" Dream says, walking up on the five. "Oh! I see a hero within you all." "I'm just here for my brother and yours," Grian says coldly. Quackity looks at Grian with wide, shook eyes. "Wh-How..?" "Let's just say I knew Crystalline before Lilac did." "There's not way that one of thou is brethren from Xavier. Dance, shall we not?" Sapnap and Mushroom came out from behind trees, and they started to fight. Fire from SnapMap's hands flying towards Gem, Philza and Quackity fighting against Mushroom, Grian fighting with Dream. Drista can from behind we tree and started to fight Tommy with rock paper scissors. Tommy won 8 games out of 13, so he counts himself the best. Grian has Dream pinned down, and everyone freezes, not knowing what was fixing to happen. Sapnap burned feathers from the parrots wings, but he didn't even flinch. Mushroom tried to put Grian to sleep, and that didn't work, either. Even Philza and Gem tried getting Grian off the dude, but it was to no avail. "Do you even know what could happen with your power?" "No, why?" "You could make someone like us. I wasn't even like you until I lived with Killer Rabbit and PcyBun! Just as easily as we could kill or heal someone, we could turn them, and that feels like dying three times." A flash of purple is sent of in the distance, behind Grian where he could not see who was near. What he did not expect, though, was hearing Tommy wail before Tommy screamed loudly.
-----
Tommy 'woke' up to the sound of crying. All he could think of, though, was the massive pain in his back. He couldn't understand why he hurt so badly, or why had suddenly couldn't move, but something he could understand is his pesky bird of a brother was crying his name. "Tommy, please I can't loose you too," he cried, "I can't loose you like we lost Mum." Day after day, night after night. His brother crying on what was presumed to be his deathbed. "I- I understand that you are in pa-in," Grian choked. "Where ever you are you will always be my gremlin little brother." Some days Scar would come visit, too. "Hey, Tommy, we miss you and your crazyness," he'd always start, "We need you to wake up soon, okay?" Taurtis would always say the exact same thing as Scar when he came. Wilbur and Techno would sometimes come in, too. Always together. "Hey Toms, we miss you. Can you try to flex your hand for me?" Tech would always ask. Wilbur always told Tomathy's body dad jokes, Phil did too when he visited. Philza didn't visit alot, anyways.
One day, though, things changed. Everyone one was there. Scar, Taurtis, Grian, Wilbur, Phil, Techno, even Dream was there for some odd reason! "Tom-my," Grian choked out from his harsh crying, hugging him. "Plea-se wake u- up so-soon." Tommy heard the sound of boots step up, along with a quiet sob that sounded like Wilbur. "Tommy, if you don't wake up by next week they'll pronounce you dead," Wilbur said, void of all emotions but grief. "He's not dead, Wilbur!" Grian cried. Then, they left.
December 4th, Saturday, 2:39 PM
Tommy woke up three visits after the day that everyone was in the room, and the room was dim. No nurses or crying was able to be seen as Tommy realized he was really awake. "Nur'!" he yelled. The lights slowly turned on as the door opened and he saw his normal nurse at Pogtopia Hospital, Nurse Hannah, walk through with his family. "Tommy? You're awake?" she said in disbelief. "M'eah, 'ow long ha' I been out?" Tommy asked, slurring his words. "You've been out since July 19th, so just under," she trailed off, counting in her fingers. "Six months." "It' a'ready past Chrima'?!" A hand on his back causes pain to sprout. "No, Toms, you woke up just in time. It's the 4th," Grian tries to soothe him, turning to Hannah he asks, "Can we take him home?" Hannah nods, "Just make sure Brother keeps me updated. I know how hard this was when it happened to him.." "Ofcourse," Grian turns to Philza, "And I'm kidnapping my brother." Phil gives a thumbs up and Grian takes Tommy to HermitFusion's base.
3:57 PM
"Why have you called this meeting, G?" Scar asks. "I'm sure you all remember how much pain I was in when I left Sam's after he turned me?" "Grian, why are you-" Xisuma tried to ask before getting cut off. "Dream is a watcher, not a turned one but a born one. He didn't know he could transform others until it was too late and he had shot my brother with the power." "Tommy, Wilbur, or Techno?" Taurtis asks, "Techno could survive with little to no trauma, Wilbur a bit of trauma but Tommy could actually be driven insane because of the amount of pain it gives you, and combined with the grief of Tubbo? That's one to kill the world!" Tommy steps up, "Well then I guess the world will be killed?" The entire room gets loud quickly, and Tommy ends up with his ears covered by Grian in a corner and Taurtis cleaning the blood off his back. "G..? Why is there blood on on my back..?" Tommy asks, voice shaking and cracking. "It's because you're growing wings, and new eyes are opening. Tommy, soon you'll feed off of emotions and you'll have eyes no one else can see around you, and you'll see everything." "Gri..? I thought-" "I was a parrot, yes, I was. But, I am now a Watcher. Even after death, you will exist. Only reviving someone will even allow you to shed a physical form." "So I can revive Tubbo..?" "If you want him to have to build you a robot to have a physical form, yes."
December 8th, Wednesday, 1:09 PM
"Thes! Are you alright?" X yells through the Comm. "Axolotl send Cry, Lea, Hot and Whisp!!" Tommy yells back. Over the past few days, he'd become acquainted with the members of HermitFusion. Currently, though, he'd need Gem, Gri, Scar, and Taurtis "They should be behind now!" "Theseus! Are you okay?" "Xqulea! I'm okay but I do need help. Thorn and Diamond are being a pain!" "Thorn? Let me deal with her. She'll get Diamond to back down too," Grian says, walking over to Thorn. "Theseus over here is my little brother, Thorn. The youngest one, that is." "Oh I didn't realize! I am so sorry Theseus! Diamond, retreat. This is a battle you won't fight and I won't let get started." "Tell me at the base why."
December 25th, Saturday, 5:29 PM
Tommy sets out of L'Bucks after getting picked up by Philza. "So, merry Christmas, mate?" Phil says, sounding more like a question.. "Yeah, merry Christmas Dadza."
6:02 PM
They walk through the door to the Syndicate in costumes. "Niki? Jack? Big Q? Drist?" "Tommy, get HermitFusion and both of you get in your costumes. Brother's wanting to fight us and they have the Eggpire behind them, even though they are villains." Tommy grabs his comm off his waist and calls Grian. "Pesky, you there?" "Yeah, what's up Toms?" "D-Team wants to fight us- Uh, the Syndicate and they have the Eggpire behind them." "Oh. OH. I'll get X and everyone else!" "Cya, Pesky!" "Bye, Tommy."
6:36 PM
"I see you have received my message. I'm glad you agreed to fight," Dream says, "I suspect you don't know we have allies as you have none?" "Wrong, Clay Dean," Xqulea says, reaching the ground. "They have us." "Oh, so you decided to have your brother involved." "The Eggpire consists of only 3 people, of which one is a nurse I went to school with. Diamond, BadBoy, and Thorn. BadBoy is honestly really sweet and is being puppeteered by Xavior." "DREAM I THOUGHT YOU SAID THEY WERE WILLING!" SapNap yells. "I THOUGHT SOTOO"Dreamyellsback. "BROTHER SHUT IT" Thorn ends up yelling, stunning SapNap. "I'm the one who agreed to fight with you lot in the first place. Now that I understand Theseus is part of the Syndicate, and the only willing one of the Eggpire, I back down." "Oh? Scared of a newbie, I see." "I'll see you in my office once this fight is over, Thes and Xqulea!" "Wait Hannah?!" SnapRap yells, running after her. A wall of thorns grows in his path, and Diamond pulls BadBoy away. "Pesky, you can call the others off." "On it." "Oh, how generous," Dream laughs, "Show them what we can do, everyone!" "There's literally 3 people on our side and like 7 on theirs." "Oh well. Mushroom can put them to sleep." "Dream I'm not your puppet." "Just this once?" "No, but I will fight." Grian's wings flare open, and so does Dream's. Soon enough, Tommy and Drista are helping Techno, Phil, and Niki against Mushroom, Jack and SapNap are burning each other with Wilbur, Quackity, and Ranboo helping out Jack, and Dream and Grian are fighting. After an hour or two Tommy breaks away and runs to the cemetery. He finds Tubbo's coffin, it was over ground for some odd reason, and opens it. He places his left hand over Tubbo's torso, and closes his eyes. He focuses on all his energy onto his hand, and purple starts to spout out of his hand, and over Tubbo. The world around him slowly shifts to his old apartment and Tubbo crying in the corner, a dead version of him in the middle of the floor. "Tμßb•?" Tommy calls out, "¥∆u ®€@dy +0 b£ @|!v€ ag@¡n?" "T-Tommy..? Why- Why are you here in my limbo? Oh, please tell me you aren't dead!" Tommy reaches out and takes his best friend by the hand, pulls him up, and hugs him. "G°∆dẞ¥€, My f®£πd."
-----
Tubbo awakens, and he finds his best friend hovering over him, slowly fading away the stronger Tubbo gets. "Tommy?" He sees a black thing on him, and grabs it. "Theseus? Thes? Tommy? Toms? Tomathy? Hello?" a familiar voice practically yells through the device. Tubbo presses the big, black button, "..Hello? Who is this?" "Tubbo! Oh, no he didn't. I'll come get you, hold on." "..Who are you? You- You do sound familiar, don't get me wrong, but I can't-" "Yeah, I understand. Taurtis could only remember Sam and Me. Not even his girlfriend, as we were the closest when I revived him. You probably only remember Toms and Boo, right?" "Tommy and Ranboo, yes." "I'm Tommy's eldest brother, Grian." "Ah, so you're him!" The sound of wings flapping is above him, and tommy is only an outline. "Put the comm on him so he can still talk to us!" Tubbo puts the 'comm' back onto Tommy, as it was also fading, too. "I'm Grian, or the hero-villain Xqulea. Sometimes I help the Syndicate, most times I fight the Eggpire.

no one’s ever burnt you - never grow up
- SBI hero / AU
- WIP
Unlike what his family seems to think, Tommy’s not stupid . He can see the way they ignore the news, he can hear how the windows slid open at night- the shadows that passes by the blondes own before they leave. How they wince and hiss at covered wounds when they come home, how they ignore his questions as if they were poison.
He’s not stupid.
He knows he lives with three criminals, three criminals who appear on the news every other week, claiming a persons life as of it was nothing . He’s not stupid, he sees how Puppeteer has the same curly hair as his brother, how Bloodhound snarls just like his own- and how Nightwing holds the same hair that is a perfect match to his.
Tommy knows he lives with villains; but, he doesn’t think his family realizes how he winces at his own wounds, how his window is left a little open every night so he can slid through, how on some days, he’s so tried that he can’t even get out of bed from hours and hours of training. While he knows that his family is the feared syndicate, he doesn’t think they realize that he’s the new upcoming hero - Apollo - and that they laugh with one of the people they fight every week.
They don’t notice how they live with an underaged hero.
☀︎︎
Tommy pours cheerios into his bowl, frowning once realizing there’s no milk. “Dad forgot to go shopping’, I guess.” Huffing, he grabs a spoon and sits down, eating dry cereal, as he watches amusedly as Wilbur stumbles down the stairs. He snickers, the brunette shoots him the middle finger, which, rude.
“Nice bruise,” Tommy speaks through a blob of messed up cheerios, pointing out the black eye that his brother sports. “Fall down another staircase?” He’s being sarcastic, and Wilbur seems to recognize that as he burrows through the cabinets. “Something like that.”
Tommy, offhandedly, feels some level of guilt at the bruise - knowing the only reason he has a bruise is because Apollo had used Puppeteers face as a springboard last night in a last ditch effort to get away. Oops. He swallows down a chunk of cereal. “Stay away from staircases,” the blonde mumbles out, flicking a dry cheerio at the brunette. “Gremlin.” Is hissed out, as he gets another middle finger in response, and a comment half mumbled about rabies.
☀︎︎
Tommy realized he lived with three villains when he was thirteen, digging through his brothers closets in hopes of a new sweater - instead finding the masks of the most feared villains amongst the city. In all grown out honesty, he couldn’t bring himself to be scared, more so numb at the information. Because in the end, it made sense, the whispered conversations when he left the table- the nights where he wasn’t invited out with the rest of them; it made sense.
Despite that, he used to be bitter at the fact, bitter that he was left out, abandoned every planned out movie night - instead of watching some flashy new musical per Wilbur’s request, he watched as his family destroyed, or nearly get killed on live television.
He used to be bitter when he was thirteen, cold at the fact he was left out; now, he was fifth-teen and a had secret of his own, an unwilling hero.

Tommy unreliable narrator au
Disclaimers:
1. Idk what unreliable narrator is, i’m not googling it simply to see how this turns out
2. This is being written out of boredom because i’m waiting for my computer to cool down before watching the final episode of limited life (i started watching it last night)
3. I hardly ever write angst anymore, but this is simply my origins, so enjoy the angst
4. I also never write in first person, so it might be shit and the tenses might be off, so don’t question it
5. I also hardly ever write bad parent phil, and i always make wilbur and techno good people. But hey, anomalies are good sometimes
6. I’m not listening to angsty music, i’m listening to one direction, trust me it’ll make this writing better
Tldr; tommy has never had anyone to trust, so he finds himself trusting people he shouldn’t
Trigger warnings: manipulation
———
All I ever wanted was a constant.
It’s all anyone wants in this world, really, and I’m not sure how others found theirs.
I used to have Tubbo, I met him when we were seven and he tried to tackle me in the playground to prove a point to his other friend at the time. Of course, I hated him for it, but he helped me up and dusted the dirt off my shirt, so I decided I liked him. Everything good comes to an end eventually though, and he betrayed me, just like everyone else in this fucking world.
I never really had parents either, which most people can rely on for many things. My childhood was a blur for the most part, jumping between foster homes, some admittedly worse than others, before finally escaping at sixteen.
That’s how I found myself in the Arctic, a chilly place with strange people.
Newspapers littered the floor no matter where I walked, and most weeks I’d find myself staring at screen-shotted camera footage of the local villains. After asking a civilian about it, they told me about the following;
Soot was a tall, masked man with a knack for fire and explosives. His features mostly went unknown, but brown hair was known to peak out from under his hood, and hazel brown eyes glared at anyone who dared approach him. The clothes he donned were simple, a yellow jumper matched with black cargo trousers, a long brown trench coat over his shoulders.
Blade was even taller, but people speculated that was only because of his boots, the heels higher than should be possible for him to fight as well as he does. Most well known for carrying a broadsword and easily defeating everyone he faced, bright red eyes hidden behind a pig mask. No one knew his hair colour, most likely because he was much more careful with hiding his identity than Soot. However, his clothes were much more regal than Soot’s casual outfit, with a poets shirt and a long red cloak, similar trousers to the other. A crown was placed on his head, gold with an emerald on the front.
And then, last but definitely not least, was Corvine. The only winged man on Earth, whose pitch black feathers could be found dotted around the country. Unlike his teammates, most of his features were on display; long, blonde hair fell onto his shoulders, shining blue eyes are shown through a black crow mask, the only thing covering his identity. A black turtle neck was his chosen shirt, with a dark green hooded cloak, the same black trousers as his teammates.
Together, they were the SBI.
SBI weren’t the only villains of the Arctic, however, as there was a greater organisation named the ‘Antarctic Empire’, which the civilian told me was to show how they believed in morals and duties that were opposite to what the Arctic taught their citizens.
Trust had been difficult since Tubbo decided to leave me, so obviously I didn’t believe everything this person told me. A villain, by dictionary definition, is the person responsible for specific problems or damage. Who was to say what they’d done was a problem for the greater public? After-all, it was government ran news stations who told the people about these villains.
So, I decided to find out for myself.
It was tricky to find them, understandably, but after three weeks of trying to bump into them, a pig mask stared back at me in the dead of night.
“You shouldn’t be out here kiddo.”
Kindness, protection, concern.
“Well I don’t exactly have a bed time.” I returned at the same pace the other had spoken, not being able to match Blade’s deep voice and monotonous tone. However, the man let out an amused huff.
Human. Human. Human.
“Go home, it’s dangerous out here, and trust me when I say you don’t want to see Corvine.”
“Well, that’s kind of what I’m here for.” I reply easily, and the shock on the other’s face is hardly noticeable, but I saw his lips part for a split second.
“You? Wanna become a part of the Empire?” He asked, clearly disbelieving even when I nodded incessantly. “Good luck with that one.”
“I’m stronger than I look.”
“You’d be good bait.”
Resourceful, cautious, facetious.
“You underestimate me, Blade.”
The sound of feet landing beside us filled our ears. Blade flinched, I simply looked.
There stood Corvine, his wings spread out behind him, an eyebrow raised just over his mask, a smile on his lips as he stared directly at me, blue eyes blinking with a hint of suspicion.
“Who’s the kid mate?” He asked, the question clearly not directed towards me but rather his teammate, who didn’t manage a reply in time.
“I’m Tommy, Tommy Innit, and I have a proposition for you.”
Corvine paused, clearly contemplating something as his wings slowly pulled behind him.
Curious.
Human. Human. Human.
“And what may that be?”
“You know I’m powerful, you can feel it.” Corvine paused again, and I grinned, hands behind my back as my feet rocked on the pavement. “I would like to join the Antarctic Empire.”
I expected several things.
Maybe to be shoved away, taken to a local orphanage, maybe even to be killed for talking to people with a bad reputation.
Instead, Corvine smiled, it was bright and happy and everything that made my chest uncomfortably warm, a skipping feeling in my heart that I couldn’t explain if I was given years to name it.
There was no malice in the dimples that had formed on his cheeks, no ill intentions in his blue eyes, but a strange form of pride that only powered my want to join them, to stand beside them, to make sure they didn’t regret taking me on.
Corvine smiled, and I knew I’d done something right.
“So, this isn’t the main base, we’ll take you there after a few weeks and we’re sure we can trust you, however some of the Empire are here currently that I’d like you to meet.” Corvine explained, footsteps silent as he made his way through the hall. Since we started the journey back to a safe location, Corvine’s wings had been pulled behind him, whether it was to seem less threatening or because he was simply relaxed, I don’t think I’ll ever be entirely sure.
“Soot!” Corvine called into the building, hands around his mouth to project his voice more. Blade continued on through the building, leaving his sword on it’s rack before falling onto a sofa, picking up a book and completely ignoring everything around him.
Trusting, bored, uninterested.
“What?! I’m busy!”
“I don’t care come downstairs!” Corvine yelled back, receiving a loud groan in return, and then a door slamming, and then much louder footsteps.
The civilian was right, he was tall.
And also completely maskless.
The man paused half way down the stairs, brown eyes wide as they stared directly at me.
And then, he groaned again, making his way down the rest of the steps before standing in front of Corvine, a frown adorning his face.
“You could’ve told me we had a visitor.” He grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest before staring at me, a hint of curiosity in his eyes that I couldn’t find a way to explain.
“This is Tommy, he’s going to be your apprentice.”
“Sorry what?” We both asked, and I couldn’t help but pause, glaring at the other who clearly returned the sentiment.
“I don’t need training-“
“And I don’t need a child following me around all day! Techno’s bad as it is!”
Corvine sighed, pinching the nose of his mask as he muttered words to himself I couldn’t quite catch. “Well Tommy can’t just become a member of the organisation, Blade’s busy enough as it is, and I have to run the entire fucking thing! So you’re the next candidate.”
“Why not Nihachu? She’s way better than me!”
“What did we say about complimenting others to get yourself out of things you need to do?”
Manipulative, argumentative, adamant.
But smart, resilient and devoted.
“Not to do it.” He mumbled back, and Corvine simply sighed again, walking away from the two and walking through a doorway, the door slamming shut behind him. And then, Soot turned back to me, eyes squinted as he stared, so I simply copied, hands balled into fists at my side. “What’s your power anyway?”
“None of your business.” I spat back, hardening my glare.
“Well it kind of is, considering I have to train you and all.”
“I can go without training my powers, you’d be too shocked to do anything about it.”
When Soot groaned and finally broke the eye contact, I found myself looking at the sofa where Blade sat, book in hand and hood pulled down, revealing french plaited pink hair.
“Like the hair Blade, really brings out your eyes.” I comment, he doesn’t even register that he heard it.
Embarrassed, fond, stubborn.
“Alright child-“
“For the third time today I’m not a child.” I insist, but Soot goes undeterred, walking away and only leaving me to assume to follow.
“Your room is the one on the left at the end of the hall, come to training room C at 7am sharp and I’ll show you around the building.” Soot explained, stopping outside of the door he’d mentioned before turning back around, something dangerous flickering in his eyes that I almost laughed at. “But if you even try to escape and reveal our whereabouts, you will be killed on the spot, do I make myself clear?”
“Clear as day big man.” I reply easily, but the man’s glare only hardness, leaving me to push into the room and shut it behind me.
After a quick scan of the room - checking for cameras as always, can never be too careful - I fall onto the bed, eyes drooping shut the moment my head hits the pillow.
———
Shorter one today cus i hate writing in first person, probably won’t continue this because first person just reminds me of wattpad and third person is simply superior
A few things to take note of:
Sbi aren’t actually good people in this fic. Irl they’re the best, in this au however Phil is only looking to capitalise on the power and vulnerability Tommy possesses. Techno is genuinely indifferent iferent, he doesn’t care of Tommy’s existence, he doesn’t care if he moves in and becomes a part of the team, he simply doesn’t care. Wilbur genuinely hates him, it’s not a fond insulting or teasing arguments like Tommy believes, but simply his raw emotions and feelings.
There are a few main bits where the unreliable narrator gives off this idea that SBI are good people. For example when Phil smiles.
No one has ever really shown Tommy affection in his life, apart from Tubbo who ‘abandoned’ him (Tommy pushed him away). So when Phil smiles, despite Tommy’s trust issues, he takes it as a positive thing.
Phil: smiles
Tommy: oh my god affection thank you i need a family you are now my father im so glad i made you proud and i wont stop at anything to make you continue to be proud
Phil: woo a child who i can manipulate and send him on death riddled missions without having to sacrifice my children :D
However, when he meets Soot and finds that he’s ‘Manipulative, argumentative, adamant.’ he basically says ‘nah bro these people mean no harm, let’s look at the positive side’ and makes these negatives into positives.
Some part of him understands these people don’t truly love him for him, but rather are going to keep him around for what he’s capable of. But he doesn’t want that part of him to be known, he wants someone to trust, he wants protection, he wants a family he can love and so he pushes it aside. Tommy looks at Wilbur and aspires to be him, Wilbur looks at Tommy and wishes for his downfall.
If you want fluff out of this au, just know if I was to continue it the person who would genuinely become Tommy’s family would be Techno; his indifference is because of lack of knowledge, he sees a bright eyed kid with aspirations he assumes he’d never achieve and finds he doesn’t want to be a part of it. But then he sees Tommy’s true intentions, his underlying need to be understood and loved, the want and need so strong that he lies to himself to get what he wants, and he feels bad because he knows what that feels like.
Anyways, I’m off to go read, ily all and i hope you all enjoyed this lil thing :)

Chapter summary:
Wilbur sat down on the bed. “I almost watched you die to one, Tommy. I can’t teach you to fight, knowing that something like that might happen again. You’re my little brother.”
“And you’re my older brother. I still let you do this, knowing what might happen. Knowing what it feels like to… to hurt.”
“That’s different.”
“It’s not.”
Wilbur’s gaze drifted up to Tommy’s eyes, contemplative, and Tommy put effort into looking the part. He tilted his chin up, pushed his shoulders back, tried to bleed confidence as shimmering and brilliant as… well… gold.
“I’m not scared, Wilbur,” he said. “Please just let me help.”

In the aftermath of his second encounter with the hero Dream, Tommy has been left with three things: an awe-filled respect for the villain that saved him, a sudden spike in internet popularity, and a few unintentional ties to the Syndicate. While on the hunt for a new info broker Tommy has his second encounter with Father Episko. Tubbo is less than thrilled.
