In my modern world I think that Freya would run a summer camp kind of thing, the kids she watches over are Thrud, Angrboda, Atreus and Skjoldr.
When the parents arrive at the end of the day Freya shows them the chaos that is four teens and boredom. Aka Atreus and Angrboda are pretending to play out a divorce and Skjoldr has taken Atreus’ side, Thrud is dying of laughter in the background.
All that I can imagine is Atreus yelling that he’s taking the kids while being carried off bridal style by Skjoldr lol  What’s the bet that Angrboda gets the house? I say carried off bc the kid, in my au, is in a wheelchair half the time bc he’s too weak stand or it wouldn’t be good for him too. Like when his lungs aren’t doing good so too much exercise and movement makes it worse.
All the parents be sitting in the background flabbergasted. Gryla is sitting there like “yes bitch, dump his ass!”    Kratos is just like “who the fuck is Hel??” Mimir is probably laughing with Thrud, although Sif would probably try to play lawyer, since that is her job in my silly modern au.
If you don’t know, Hel is the daughter of Loki and Angrboda in Norse mythology. I think in the modern au I have, It would just be a cat they have when they live together as adults w/ Skjoldr and Thrud. Yes, I think they would live together, and I think it would be chaos. They probably find Hel when she’s just a kitten when they’re teens.

Soap, who when he sees ghost can't help but to smile. He can't stop it. It's an involuntary response. How is he supposed to not smile when he sees the man that makes him so happy every day.

of course eddie wasn't in buck's coma dream!! his coma dream was about family (as in mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters), it was about that side of family and how buck has always always struggled with his biological family. it was about buck realising he could forgive his parents because he has bobby, a dad that he chose and a dad that chose him right back. it was about buck realising that even if he lost daniel and was haunted by him for the rest of his life, he had chimney, a brother who becomes more of a brother to him every single day. it was about buck realising that maddie and hen are constants in his life, that it wasn't his job to save his bio sister, that hen will always be hen no matter what. it was about that kind of family of which eddie does not fit into! eddie is not a brother, sure buck may use that term for him a few times but that was something to hide behind, eddie is a best friend or that's what buck tells himself. eddie had no place in that coma dream because it wasn't about buck's romantic trauma, it was about the familial trauma he's carried his whole life. but christopher was in the dream because its about family. its about fathers and sons. its about phillip and bobby and buck himself. buck who spends the whole of 6a struggling with fatherhood and paternity and who's subconscious conjures up a kid that's supposed to be on the other side of the country and has the kid ask for his dad. buck can easily subtract eddie from the idea of brotherhood, but his subconscious absolutely cannot separate chris from the idea of fatherhood.

So…
He fell into the DashCon ball pit.
And he was never found again.
He just disappeared without a trace.
We have NO idea what happened to him afterwards.

Every day I am tortured by the fact there are things in Danganronpa 3 that are conceptually interesting (such as the whole thing of "Makoto usually compares himself to others" being flipped, others comparing themselves to Makoto, with Mitarai's high opinion of Makoto vs his own belief that he couldn't do anything leading him to conclude "well there's absolutely no way everyone can deal with despair and death like Makoto did so I have to brainwash the world into permanent hope" and Sakakura's hatred of Makoto coming from how Makoto stood where he was unable to stand) but the execution and implementation of those ideas were almost universally botched

#A nice episode :) I have a lot of headache tho and forgot everything I wanted to say#The ss/kk is nice :) It's nice every time Akutagawa spontaneously saves Atsushi seemingly with no reason to#The animation was very nice! It's evident a lot of money and effort went into this season and these last episodes in particular#And I like the art style a lot better than the one in the other seasons. Even season 4 where the animation is comparatively as good#What more. The Kyouka screentime is nice. The whole Guild aftermath celebrations section is very nice and heartwarming to watch#I still take a lot of issues with the entire way Kyouka's entrance exam was conceived but I think they're fairly self-explanatory.#Also fundamentally coherent with b/sd's general worldviews so#But even then there's a line that bothers me to an unexplainable amount from the first time I watched it to now.#The “it hurts” when she's hugging Atsushi. And I've reflected over that line so long from the moment I first heard it...#I think. Its meaning is to symbolize how being in the light sometimes will still result to be too overwhelming for Kyouka–#to the point at times it will still end up hurting her. But that doesn't make it any less worth it#So to say‚ there's no such thing as perfect happy endings. But she is going to be okay nonetheless#BUT IT STILL BUGS ME. I feel like it's part of a school of thought for whom we should just accept the fact that there's evil in the world–#that we can't eradicate. And nothing can be done about it. Which I don't think is a functional or useful way of thinking?#ALSO I know it's. Most definitely‚ 99% not how the scene is supposed to be interpreted#BUT ATSUSHI IS THE ONE HUGGING AND THUS HURTING HER and you know how there is this very slight narrative that seemingly–#frames Kyouka and Atsushi as romantic partners and like... Idk.#In that context the line almost feels expression of a narrative of wives having to bear pain that is natural and unavoidable.#I know this definitely wasn't the intended meaning it's just a bad impression for some reason I can't be able to shrug off even after years#But don't listen to me#I don't think there's anything else to add. Overall a very good episode.#Take a shot every time someone says “all according to Dazai's plan”#random rambles

Mr. Ballen in his video: There's an abandoned town in the remote part of Alaska known as Portlock.
Me who's watching: Oh? I've never heard of this!
Mr. Ballen: The town had a promising future in the fish canning industry however very shortly after business started booming and people had become settled into the town strange occurrences began happening.
Me: ??
Mr. Ballen: People started to go missing when they entered the forests surrounding the town, and mutilated bodies were found in the lagoon beside it as well. The people believed that they were at first animal attacks however Native Alaskans were quick to step forward and explain that they were not animal attacks. But instead they were the work of large, hairy creatures that stood on two legs who lived in the forests surrounding the town.
Me starting to sweat: Oh god it's one of those stories......
Mr. Ballen after explaining a few accounts: After dealing with this for so long the townspeople finally had enough. In the span of one night everyone had evacuated the area, save for the post man who had to stay till the government came down to close it down. The post man stated in his reports that it was awful, every night he'd see large creatures moving in the treeline and howls in the night. He was glad to leave. Now due to all of this most existing pictures of Portlock are incredibly old, since no one ever goes there. Those who did quickly left asap and thus there's no real modern photos of the town, save for one.
Mr. Ballen shows a photo of a lone building surrounded by a thick forest and a murky lagoon: This is one of the remaining buildings that haven't crumbled from nature over the years, surrounding it is the very same woods that the young men who lived in the town had vanished in and the very same lagoon were dozens of bodies had been discovered. Anyways! That's all for today if you liked this video please-
Me pulling out a list: Places to avoid at all costs. Portlock, Alaska. Got it.
