Although it hasn’t been announced officially I think we might be getting TUA S4 in the summer.
Here’s why I think so:
So this is purely speculation but this book which is about the commission and in part being created by Netflix Is being released on May 28, 2024.
And this book, a YA story based off of the Netflix version of the Umbrella Academy, also being made in part by Netflix Is being released on June 18, 2024 (3 weeks after the other book).
Now while Netflix has never been one to properly promote The Umbrella Academy you would think that they would want the books, which are another form of revenue, to sell well.
With this in mind, I think that S4 will be coming out in the three weeks between these book releases. The commission handbook would be a great release pre-S4 to get people back into the story and the YA novel would be great post-S4, because there will be no more TV umbrella academy content since the show will be done, so it would encourage people who want more TUA to buy it.
While I typically don’t find Netflix to be this smart, I think it would be a good money making marketing plan to release the show between these two books making it’s approximate release in my opinion as somewhere in the first two weeks of June.
TLDR: the books would be a good marketing compliment to S4 and I think it’s coming out early June.
In the mid credit scene of the last episode there’s a qr code on the train next to Ben. If you scan it, it takes you to a Mothers of Agony website and you can download tattoo designs inspired by / from the show.
Umbrella Academy Filming Locations: Where to Find Them
There’s a lot of inaccuracy in filming location lists online.
I had a lot of fun visiting filming locations for the Umbrella Academy, but researching sites turned out to be challenging. There was a lot of discrepancies among alleged lists of places where the show filmed. In order for others to have less trouble, I decided to share what I learned.
THE MAP:
Umbrella Academy Filming Locations – Google My Maps
I made a map of places I have verified (via my own eyes or Google street view.) A few locations are not verified. I’ve marked those with their own, minimal marker. You may adventure to those at your own risk.
Here’s also a list of addresses and websites for the different locations:

This also includes some locations I have not verified, credited as such.
If you want more specific information about each location, I’ve got that here!
I hope Diego and Lila have a girl. And by that I mean I want their daughter to grow up obsessed with the color pink, flowers, tutus, unicorns everything considered girlie.
I want this little girl to have him wrapped around her little finger.( although let’s be honest the second he held her, she had him there.)
The girl figures out from an early age that he is wrapped around her pinky and she uses that to her advantage. That’s how she gets him to have tea parties, pink fingers and toes, become her makeup practice model and anything else she can think off. (Look at her parents, she’s evil.)
The first time Stan laughs at him, she goes over and kicks his shin, Diego is impressed. And that’s how Stan becomes an unwilling(willing) participation.
God help the boys when a new princess movie comes out. Diego’s masculinity isn’t fragile. He looks damn good in a ballgown. And don’t leave out uncle Klaus, who doesn’t mean to outshine his brother, it just happens.
Diego remembers the groceries he promised to buy during a tea party? You best believe this man is going to the store in a tiara, flower crown, whatever with brightly colored nails and his little girl all in pink and the unicorn headband she just had to have. He knows he’s getting looks but doesn’t give two shits about your opinions.
When the all the siblings get together, all the boys get new hair, makeup and wardrobes. Uncle Klaus loves every minute of it, Luther calls it practice for when he and Sloane have little ones, Five gives her tips and Victor is happy to be there.
Don’t mistake her for being weak or fragile. She has two badass parents, a brother and she will kick your ass. Lila teaches her to fight in heals and dresses, Diego custom makes her pink knifes and buys her pink pepper spray, Stan teaches her to shit talk. She’ll kick your ass, insult you in Spanish, all the while never ruining her look.
In conclusion Diego is and always been a D.I.L.F and is the perfect girl dad. Just don’t fuck with his little girl. And don’t get me started on Mama Bear, Lila.
Compared to “The Sandman,” another obscure comic adaptation (although considerably better known) about a family of 7 siblings, the one associated with death being the cutest:
At least in The Umbrella Academy, I know as much as the characters do about what the fuck is going on in their universe.
I thought I could trust Umbrella Academy to not do a black female protagonist like this but they did that as they all do
A least now this can root out the r*cist fans of this show cause the amount of antiblackness disguised as critiquing Allison's frankly out of character actions all over social media rn is so fun.
I don't even wanna finish the season I was so looking forward to watching.
Fuck this she was my favorite and there was such a better way to explore her trauma as a parent and as a survivor of literal 1960s style racism then whatever the fuck this is
