Ironically, I already had bird-ified Owen as a Eurasian Tree Sparrow before NL!SMP started so his character being named 'Sparrow' worked out even better than I expected~

ah thank you, a blessing from the three wise cats. the sad truth is that i'm actually not getting many asks, i just have some unanswered ones from nice ask week - so sorry to everyone who sent me one, i'm not ignoring you!

look, an interesting question. @kiwiana-writes has very recently introduced me to the most intriguing little demon birds i've ever seen (the kea). apparently, they can pick locks! i didn't know they existed until today, and now i am one part terrified, one part absolutely enthralled. i'm not sure i'd choose them as my one pet, but i'm definitely considering it.

side note, apparently they make friends by attacking each other! wish it could be me.

i've also become very obsessed with kiwi birds who - unbeknownst to me - scream like a banshee despite their very cute packaging! what a lovely surprise!

since i am obsessed with @quazies pootis series, i thought i might design the rest of the mercs as birds

these are obviously rough drafts, and soldier and sniper are the only ones in a more simplistic style (aka i didn't use a reference :/), but i'll work on it more. if you have any suggestions, feel free to tell me
