I know this is probably stone age old, but I just noticed something as I was re-watching TVD...

In the last episode of s2, Bonnie and Stefan were trying to contact the Salem witches to reach a cure for Damon's werewolf bite. Emily was being bitter and had Stefan believe that she wouldn't help because he was asking for Damon, because Damon was "a monster" (whatever that means to the witches who refuse to help often for selfish reasons). The witches wouldn't tell them anything, but Bonnie did hear them say "Klaus."

Now, you wanna know what I think? No? Well, sucks to be you, cuz Imma say it anyways.

As far as I can recall, Emily had no personal reason to hate Damon. In fact, she had reasons to like him, because he tried to keep her safe (as a ticket for "Katherine's escape from the tomb", but... Eh), so the reason why she didn't wanna help was, in fact, Niklaus. Neither she nor the other witches wanted him to appear sacred or rare to vampires, because imagine vampires knowing they no longer had to fear wolf bites? That would disrupt the real balance of nature. Also, at the time Nik wasn't doing any real self development to be a good person, so the last they knew of him was all the witches he wronged, abused and daggered, so they also had a selfish reason.

But they would have Damon, Stefan, every character in TVD and us think that no one liked Damon, because he's a real monster with no redeeming qualities, even tho we've seen what witches can do.

oh damn, “the descent” is a bit too good of an episode! rose’s sickeness and her death scene. that last sweet dream damon let her have. damon’s visible pain and grief. him completely going on a drunk bender and killing that girl at the end. “i’m not sure if i’m going to hurt you yet”. “i can’t be the man she wants me to be”.

~This one is called “2” and it’s another messy one! Obviously, since it’s based off the song 2 by H.E.R. Been having some fun with Bamon lately and I thought it would be funny if Bonnie was found to be a little out of character when Jeremy cheated on her with a GHOST of girlfriend’s past/passed! Of course she and Jeremy aren’t together at this point but this is the moment the Bamon scandal begins, the night after he THOUGHT he kissed Elena. Bonnie was about to lose her mind. Friday night, after a long day, and here she was with Damon Salvatore of all people. All he was doing was complaining about how Elena was in denial over her feelings for him and there was no convincing him that maybe she just loved Stefan so fully, she had no eyes for anyone else.

There was no point in telling him that Elena was human, sometimes she did have intrusive thoughts regarding Damon. It would only exacerbate his mission to prove he was the better man for her. How could he know that? He only saw how happy she was with Stefan and wanted that for himself. He couldn’t possibly be sure she’d be happy with him, considering she couldn’t stand him. Stefan made Elena happy during the darkest time in her life. Would kind of best friend would she be if she helped Damon crush that over his fixation that was borderline obsessive? And quite frankly, creepy.

Besides, Bonnie knew Elena, she’d never kiss him. If that actually happened her and Caroline would have already called an emergency girls only meeting. They told each other EVERYTHING.

“Then who’d I kiss, Bonnie?” Damon asked, sitting on the couch adjacent to her. “Those sad, brown eyes, looking up at me. The way she just thinks about all the ways she’s gonna try to let me down easy. That’s how she was looking at me. I couldn’t help it, I had to show her how I feel. I know I’m no good but for her… I love her,”

She threw her hands up. “I don’t know, maybe you were-”

“And don’t say I was drunk, I didn’t hit the bourbon until AFTER she pretended that she never let me put my lips on her,”

Bonnie stood up, exasperated. “You know what? I need a drink,”

“Now you’re thinking, Bennett,” he clicked his tongue and shot a finger gun at her.

If I had just let him burn, she thought, I wouldn’t be neck deep in this pointless debate. Like she told Stefan, it was only because Elena loved him. And Stefan could never truly hate his brother. Big of him because if Bonnie had a vampire sister who kissed her man, she’d have aneurysms until graduation. That was still a year away.

She went to the fridge to grab a beer. “Maybe, you’re just doing a little too much thinking lately. Stop mulling it over. Just look at the facts,” she listed them as she came back to the living room. “Elena is dating Stefan. Elena LOVES Stefan and she would never cheat on him, especially knowing how Katherine manipulated you both,” she grabbed his hand. “It’s time to start getting over them, Damon. Both of them,” he looked down at their clasped hands and cocked an eyebrow.

Bonnie released his hand and realized she forgot the bottle opener. “Damn, forgot the-”

She stood up again when Damon grabbed her arm suddenly. “Let me help you with that,”

Instead of getting up and heading towards the kitchen, he sunk to his knees before Bonnie, who frowned at him. “Uh, Damon? The kitchen ain’t down there,”

He ran his hands up the side of her jeans, pressing his palms into her ass, then moving towards her zipper.

“I’ll give you something better than a cold beer. Something hot,” he unbuttoned her jeans and pulled the zipper down.

Out of sheer panic and genuine shock, Bonnie conjured an aneurysm. Only nothing happened!

“Are you trying to burst the blood vessels in my brain? Tsk, tsk, Bonnie, I’m just trying to take your advice and get over Face 1 and Face 2,” he slowly slid the pair down her legs.

“But… I thought you said you loved her,” Bonnie didn’t understand why she was letting him take her pants off, much less why she was willingly stepping out of them for him. It made even less sense that he was guiding her to lie on her back on the sofa while he pulled off her underwear. And she didn’t stop him!

“Shh… no more talk about them. Focus on right here, right now,” he looked into her eyes and his pupils widened. He pushed her legs open.

He must have been compelling her! That didn’t make it okay for him to seduce her! “Damon I don’t think we should- ahh… oh! Mmmm,”

“Can I keep going?” He asked after he’d swiped his tongue right down her… RIGHT THERE! He’d licked her RIGHT THERE and now her body craved more.

“Yes!”

He resumed what he was doing until her back was arching up off the couch, her thighs were trembling, and she couldn’t stop crying out in pure ecstasy if she wanted to. Her peak of pleasure was so impactful that it activated her magic again, bursting every lightbulb in the house.

Damon smacked his lips as he pulled away. “Mm, tasty. You’re right, I feel much better now,” he smacked her bottom and stood up. “Well, the mediocre people of Mystic Falls are safe for the night. Thanks to you, Witchy,”

She was still gasping. “G- glad I could… help… ohmm…”

“See ya,” he whistled as he left.

“Ohhhh, Damon, you BETTER not kill anyone,” she murmured as she laid there in the dark. With a wave of her hand, she magically lit the candles on the fireplace mantle.

Lucy pulled back and grinned.

Ep (1-4)

1. Ok so. Miss Caroline is a vampire... Ok but seeing her all alone in the hospital struggling with her transition.. Like I felt bad for my girl,she had no idea what was going on.😫😫

2. Katherine is kind of a bitch.. Well no, she is a bitch. And I'm kind of scared by her lol. Idk she makes me feel uneasy. And I still struggle to catch when she's pretending to be Elena.

She ate this scene up ngl.

3. Tyler is definitely a werewolf. It's just a matter of time when he transforms for the first time. I wanna know what that ugly looking moonstone does. I feel it's gonna be important later.

4. Why is everyone low-key hating on Caroline and nobody believes she will survive long as a vampire? Like pls have some trust in my girl😭😭 also her and Matt broke up and that is honestly just sad to me. They were really cute together. Also Katherine is using Caroline to go against Elena and Stefan.. Like ughh, Caroline cannot catch a break! 💀💀

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES.S2.E14.”CRYING WOLF”

First airing on tv in 2009, The Vampire Diaries starring Nina Dobrev is a fan favorite from the early 2010s era of vampire fanatics. The show is very Twilight-esque with it’s warring groups of vampires, werewolves, and other supernatural beings, and plenty of the CW’s signature dramatics. In this episode, the vampires and werewolves are both seeking to break the “sun and moon curse” which weakens both groups, however they each seek to break it for their own gain. But to break this curse, Elena Gilbert, the main protagonist, must be sacrificed, and those closest to her are not willing to let that happen without a fight. Stefan Salvatore, Elena’s caring vampire boyfriend, takes her for a romantic weekend away from the drama and danger in Mystic Falls at her family’s lakehouse. Caroline and Bonnie, Elena’s vampire and witch best friends respectively, seek out more information on how they can help keep their friend safe. Elijah, one of the original vampires, has come to Mystic Falls to break the curse, but Damon Salvatore isn’t too keen on letting that happen. Tyler, one of Elena’s childhood friends, attempts to help a pack of werewolves find Elena to break the curse, not knowing the full consequences of what he is helping to do.

The show has lots of dramatic twists, turns, and reveals. You never know who in the ever growing cast of characters you can trust. It can be a bit confusing, deciphering which characters are which breed of supernatural creatures at which time and who has their intentions set where. There is also plenty of supernatural violence to keep things interesting, vampires able to rip out hearts and wooden bullets created to keep vampires at bay, and of course whatever kinds of magic the show’s witches can conjure up. The dramatics can be a little cheesy at times, but that’s to be expected of an early 2010s tv drama about a vampire love triangle, right?

Would I watch this show again? I would say yes. I think it would be a good show to watch every so often for some drama and entertainment. I’ve also heard great things about the show’s bingeability. With multiple spin-off shows, there is a neverending flow of Vampire Diaries content that you can keep up with forever, if it really suits you. Plus, with the dark lighting, soundtrack, and small New England town vibes, the show seems like a perfect show for fall when the weather starts to get a bit too crisp. A great show to stay in, pop some popcorn, and find your fuzziest blanket to turn on.
