Can you explain more about the ‘you let me be quiet’ in your fic Tawang? I think it says a lot about Smita and Tobias’ relationship but was curious about your thoughts. Also, would you ever write about Tobias visiting Smita?
If we know anything about Tobias, it's that he feels the need to be performing almost all the time. He's the funny one. The snarky one. The one who keeps things interesting. He really doesn't get a lot of time to just be, mostly because he's pretty scared what people might notice about him or what he might himself feel if he did. The fact that Smita lets him be quiet says a lot about how safe she makes him feel, that with her, he doesn't have to pretend.
I have a vague idea in my head of some things that happened on that visit, but I don't think I'll ever write it, to be honest.

The Revivors Of Severus Snape:
WARNING: May contain spoilers for “Hogwarts Mystery”.
Basically, I’ve been triyng to work on a fic where (movie) Severus Snape is revived shortly after “Deathly Hallows”. This would be through a formula created by the late Eileen Prince-Snape that composes of the following ingredients:
-A cauldron of water heated by a dragon.
-Pheonix tears.
-Stinging Nettle.
-Yarrow.
-Fairy Wings.
-The Resurrection Stone.
-And the horn of a unicorn to stir the contents.
From this odd potion, Severus Snape would not only be revived but would gain the powers of the Resurrection Stone. After a long while of recovery, Snape would eventually escape his captived to live in seclusion for years under the name “Sephtis Surgo”.
While Snape would reunite with his ex-wife (he had secrelty married Constance Hardbroom of the 1998 “Worst Witch” and had a son who would be Nicholas Hobbes of the “Worst Witch” spin-off, “Weirdsister College”) and later welcome a daughter who would inherit (half of) the Resurrection powers, there is a matter that I’m trying to look more into. Who would be Snape’s revivors/captors?
I know I want them to be a member of “R”/The Cabal from the “Hogwarts Mystery” games. But, as I haven’t played much of the game (and too cheap to pay for the upgrades that’ll help me move on to the levels), I’m a bit stuck on the fates of the members. As Peregrine is (allegedly) dead, I’m more incline to go with Verucca Snyde, Eustace Burke, Kazuhiro Shiratori and (maybe) Patricia Rakepick. If the likes of Barty Crouch Jr., Bellatrix and other Death-Eaters had managed to escape, then perhaps the “R” members found a way. But should I go with them or come up with an OC member?
Another question is how would they have gotten ahole of Eileen’s formula? Could Eileen have been a member due to The Cabal’s goal for power? With her destructive marriage to Tobias, it would’ve been natural for the powerless Eileen to want some kind of change?
Then there’s how they managed to get Snape out of the boathouse...I had the Cabal use the red cap creatures to track a corpse down but how did they get onto Hogwarts grounds and why? Was it to help fight the Death-Eaters or did they have an incling a war was approaching the school so they were hoping to find an unclaimed corpse somewhere?
So, for those who played the game, would including Verucca, Kazuhiro, Patricia and Eustace be a good idea for this story’s villians?

Welcome on writeandsurvive! ❤️
I’m Fio, from @navalcriminalimagines and as I said I wanted to start fresh, so here we are.
The content will be the same; fanfictions.
Eventually I’ll take requests, but for now, I want to get back into writing slowly.
Main Fandoms/Characters I’m writing for:
NCIS / NCIS LA / NCIS NOLA (I have no interest in Hawaii 😬) ~ Jethro Gibbs, Alden Parker, Dwayne Pride, G Callen, Marty Deeks, Tobias Fornell
Fire Country ~ Vince Leone (Billy Burke, ily), Manny Perez, Luke Leone
The Last of Us (outbreak/no outbreak/games/series) ~ Joel Miller, Tommy Miller, Perry
Fandoms/Characters I could be tempted to write for:
Criminal Minds ~ Aaron Hotchner
The Mandalorian ~ Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal, loml)
Characters played by Raúl Esparza.
This list is non exhaustive. More could be add, some could be taken off if I’m not comfortable with them after all.
Yes, those are very specific. I have a thing for older men, and I’m not sorry about it.
So, yeah! Enjoy!
love!

Persuasion
Adaptions from 1971, 1995, 2007, 2022
The sixth of Jane Austen’s novels, first published in 1817, posthumously, has had many adaptions over the years. The ones pictures above are detailed below:
Persuasion (1971 Miniseries)
5 episodes x 45min
Written by Julian Mitchell, directed by Howard Baker
Starring Ann Firbank as Anne Elliot, Bryan Marshall as Capt. Frederick Wentworth, David Savile as Mr. William Elliot, Morag Hood as Mary Musgrove (née Elliot), Basil Dignam as Sir Walter Elliot, Marian Spencer as Lady Russell, Georgine Anderson as Mrs. Sophia Croft, among others
Persuasion (1995 TV Film)
While made for british TV, the film was later released in US theaters
Written by Nick Dear, directed by Roger Michell
Starring Amanda Root as Anne Elliot, Ciarán Hinds as Capt. Frederick Wentworth, Samuel West as Mr. William Elliot, Sophie Thompson as Mary Musgrove (née Elliot), Corin Redgrave as Sir Walter Elliot, Susan Fleetwood as Lady Russell, Fiona Shaw as Mrs. Sophia Croft, among others
Persuasion (2007 TV Film)
Written by Simon Burke, directed by Adrian Shergold
Starring Sally Hawkins as Anne Elliot, Rupert Penry-Jones as Capt. Frederick Wentworth, Tobias Menzies as Mr. William Elliot, Amanda Hale as Mary Musgrove (née Elliot), Anthony Head as Sir Walter Elliot, Alice Krige as Lady Russell, Marion Bailey as Mrs. Sophia Croft, among others
Persuasion (2022 Film)
While made for Netflix, this film was first released in US theaters
The film departs from the original novel in some points (a lot in tone)
Written by Ronald Bass & Alice Victoria Winslow, directed by Carrie Cracknell
Starring Dakota Johnson as Anne Elliot, Cosmo Jarvis as Capt. Frederick Wentworth, Henry Golding as Mr. William Elliot, Mia McKenna-Bruce as Mary Musgrove (née Elliot), Richard E. Grant as Sir Walter Elliot, Nikki Amuka-Bird as Lady Russell, Agni Scott as Mrs. Sophia Croft, among others
*****
I’m not big on Persuasion but I prefer the 2007 version myself. Then 1995. I’m not sure where to place 2022 - I enjoyed it (yes, I know) but it's different.

Makars’ Court.
Lawnmarket Royal Mile Edinburgh.
“Who knows the heart of man, and what moves in the darkness?”
James Bridie (1888 - 1951)
Bridie, who was born Osborne Henry Mavor on January3, 1888 in Glasgow, he went to school at Glasgow Academy and then studied medicine at the University of Glasgow graduating in 1913. He obtained wide experience as a doctor in his nativecity and in the Royal Army Medical Corps during the first world war.
Due to his importantposition as a Glasgow medical specialist, he used a nom-de-plume’.He obtained his pseudonym of James Bridie by combining hisgrandfather’s Christian name with is grandmother’s maiden nam
James Bridie wrote mainly comedies, but comedies that dealt with oftentimes fearsome themes. His play "The Sunlight Sonata", for example was subtitled The Seven deadly sins, and the plays that followed it focused on such harsh realities as death, damnation, disease, and drunkenness
James Bridie's famous biblical plays are Tobias and the angel, Susanna and the Elders, and Jonah and the Whale. James Bridie is also famous for his play "Dr. Angelus."
James Bridie worked with famous Director Alfred Hitchcock in 3 films - The Paradine Case, Under Capricorn, and Stage Fright.
Many of his plays were written specifically for his close friend the great Scottish actor, Alastair Sim, who became the most renowned interpreter of his work.
In my opinion his most well known work is The Anatomist, a play about our most imfamous Anatomist, Dr Robert Knox, who bought the bodies of Burke and Hare to disect at the University of Edinburgh’s medical school. It was made into a TV Movie in 1980 and stars Patrick Stewart in his pre Star Trek times. The original TV movie is from 1956 starred the aforementioned Sim, from what I can gather though it is not a true account of the affair as it portrays Burke and Hare as graverobbers, before cutting out the hard work, I say again, they were never known to have resorted to digging up bodies.
Bridle was a most prolific writer and talker (forty-two plays, two autobiographies, two collections of essays, several speeches, excessive participation in student politics and publications.
I love how, in the photo of this Makar, we see the name of another, Allan Ramsay, whoo surpringly I did not see among the quotes on my visit.
If you want to watch the first film adaptation, it is on Youtube here

so I was listening to the Reynolds pamphlet from the Hamilton musical and has a clear vision of Tobias, Smita, and Ginny as Jefferson, Madison, and Burr 😭😭 like just imagining Tobias reading out his gossip rags with the same fervor Jefferson uses to recite the Reynolds pamphlet 😭😭 comedy gold
Oh, that definitely happened.
and once the public becomes aware of harry/ginny, the newspapers will go wild. Tobias' favorite thing is reading them out loud. (Though he has a good sense of when it would be funny and when it would cause Ginny pain.)

Here are 14 of the NBA's most underrated diamonds in the rough
Seth Curry (Dallas Mavericks): Steph's little brother may not have the same firepower, but his efficiency and catch-and-shoot prowess is undeniable.
Bobby Portis (Milwaukee Bucks): This high-motor hustle machine anchors the Bucks' championship-caliber defense and has blossomed into a reliable offensive weapon.
Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks): A floor general with championship pedigree, Brunson's basketball IQ and poise make him a key cog in the Knicks' rebuild.
Dejounte Murray (Atlanta Hawks): A dynamic two-way guard, Murray excels in transition and boasts elite size and scoring ability for his position.
Jarrett Allen (Cleveland Cavaliers): This defensive dynamo anchors the Cavs' young core with his hustle, rim protection, and surprising on-ball defense.
Tobias Harris (Philadelphia 76ers): A versatile forward with a smooth scoring touch, Harris provides consistent production without the flashy headlines.
Malcolm Brogdon (Portland Trailblazers): A fundamentally sound point guard with championship experience, Brogdon can do it all on the court.
Grayson Allen (Phoenix Suns): Despite past controversies, Allen's perimeter shooting and defensive tenacity make him a valuable contributor.
Desmond Bane (Memphis Grizzlies): This second-year guard emerged as a surprise scoring threat after Ja Morant's injury, showcasing a deep bag of offensive tricks.
Alec Burks (Detroit Pistons): A veteran with scoring and defensive versatility, Burks provides mentorship and scoring punch to the young Pistons.

These 14 players are just a taste of the hidden talent lurking beneath the NBA's bright lights. They contribute in countless ways, proving that a championship team is built not just on superstars, but on the dedication and skill of every player on the roster. 🗺Improper.
Darcy Burke
🗺🗺🗺 (out of five)
🗺Favorite character: Mrs. Tucket
🗺Least favorite character: Lady Cassandra
🗺Quote: “His grandmother was a diminutive woman with an immense personality.”
🗺Format: e-book.
This book tells the story of Tobias, the Earl of Overton, a man of doubtful reputation who is a member of a renowned and exclusive club, who, after the death of his father, acquires the title and a ward, named Fiona, to whom he must find her a husband as soon as possible, not to mention that he must find a wife within six weeks so as not to lose the only remaining possession of his late mother.
The book is quite simple, the story tells itself, from beginning to end, for my taste it is somewhat repetitive and has scenes that have already been written before. The characters are not very memorable, their predicaments are their personalities, but I liked it, it is very easy and fun to read.
The most pleasant to highlight are the funny characters, the light dialogues, the lack of conflict and the period settings. And if you like spicy scenes, this book has a few.
