#started sobbing the first time i heard free and the bomb a couple nights ago #i listened to this album like 5 times on a loop yesterday and they still make me fucking emotional!!!#this whole album does!!!#free is my new anthem it’s not enough to listen to it i need it injected straight into my bloodstream #dance fever #florence + the machine #losing it losing it LOSING IT #i love f+tm but bc i hadn’t run into any songs from dance fever #i just assumed it wouldn’t be my thing and stuck to my usual favorites (mostly lungs lol)#BUT LIKE #I’M OBSESSED WITH THIS!!!#i love all their albums but lungs has always stayed my fave #and now it’s got competition 😭😭😭

Baby Taylor's baby voice is so endearing and it's going to be bittersweet to "lose" that on the TVs, but I'm really excited to hear how they clean up (or not) the production on Debut. I mean I know they're going to make it as accurate as possible to the originals, but I mean in the actual sound mixing and stuff. Because I feel like this album could benefit the most from some of that! Which is not to say that the original is bad BECAUSE IT'S NOT, but I think there is subtle stuff they can do with the mixing/blending/instrumentals/treble/etc. to make it shine even more.

#I don't want to say it sounds 'amateur' because it was obviously recorded by professionals #but there are some parts where i notice certain things in how her voice blends with the instrumentation #and I think they're really going to be able to make this part soar waaaaaaay more #like it almost sounds in some parts like she's singing over a karaoke track #instead of a full production if you get what i mean #it's just the difference of 20 years of evolution in sound production and design and in her own increased experience in producing #(sorry my dad does this stuff and like one road trip we spent the whole time listening to the latest mix of an album he was producing #and mixing for a friend and it's engrained in my brain how he was like dictating notes for me to write down so he could go back and fix #when we got home 😂)

#i wanted to draw the other guardians too but this would be a good start #ok so #tsuna starts his band. yamamoto bass and gokudera keys and tsuna suprisingly drummer and also lead vocal. reborn appears out of nowhere-#being “youre not your full potential so i will drain you till youre like a fish in a dehydrator until you become the best out there.”#thats about it #but i just like how drumming singers are like extremely good music people because drumming is already hard. and singing too???#absolutely insane i might say. tsuna would do this (bc reborn told him so)#he does not want to be the best but reborn exists in the paro for a reason #reborn is like maybe a famous musician who faked his death then did whatever he wanted to do while he was “alive”. then he got tsuna as his #apprentice and so so. oh yeah also whiplash (the movie) reference bc holy shit its so good. for me at least. and reborn would make tsuna go #that kind of crazy. like training until drenched in sweat from morning to night or whenever hes available. bc he knows he has potential #he just need someone to push him beyond his expected limit #btw 8059 implied #gokudera joined the band first bc yeah then comes yamamoto for fun as he had to rest from playing baseball a bit too enthusiastic #gokudera hated him so much for like being dumb??? If Sans Undertale were to judge them (plus Whole) based on what happened throughout the series, I think it would go something like this:

Heart: Sans would let him pass, but he's most definitely keeping an eye on him. (Trying to shoot Mind)

Mind: Judgement when completing Pacifist, yet you were rude. (Mocking Heart, yet not really committing any acts that would potentially have him earn EXP.) [Is there even a different judgement for being rude during a Pacifist run? I seriously don't even know–]

Soul: Would probably be given a bad time. (Threatening Heart and Mind, threatening suicide, probably killing the two in a few timelines, etc.)

Whole: Would be given a lecture to STOP RESETTING TIMELINES. (Obvious; he would forget five seconds later.)

Source (Ayreon) Model Sheets

Some costume references I made for 6/12 Source characters. Quite old drawings, I know a bit more about proportions and making people look like people but I do stand by these designs. With Ayreon there’s a lot of preset visual stuff (especially if you’re making the cast look like their respective singers), so most of the storytelling goes into the clothing for me. I dug them back up for a convo I was having with @avantasia-protag-au and I remember being so happy that I finally had concrete model sheets!

I lost motivation to do the other six; one day though.

That Forever suit looks a lot more ominous and future-y in its environment, I promise. 😅 I think the whole concept of the Forever is more effective if they retain their physical human traits as much as possible:

They didn’t EVOLVE if you think about it, they forced themselves into a hostile environment through unnatural processes, when they ironically considered it this all-natural new beginning. The suit, Liquid Eternity and all its features actually halt the evolution process, so by the time you get to the Age of Shadows they’re these hollow things in the shape of humans but just aren’t.
