I really don’t know how to explain to you that activism, community outreach, meeting important goals in the realm of social justice, and just generally living life is much easier under the presidency of an average democrat than a republican who was so outspokenly racist, genocidal, inflammatory, misogynistic, and violent that he may have permanently skewed the american right to the furthest extreme possible. I don’t know how to explain to you that the candidate who was so extreme that he brought neo-nazis into the mainstream political landscape needs to be kept out of any political office at any cost. even if it means voting for a center-left democrat who won’t personally sign off on your glorious revolution.

Every time I advocate for voting people are like "no you shouldn't vote! Read this literature, it'll totally change the way you view voting!" And every single time it's the same fucking "you shouldn't vote because both parties are exactly the same so it won't make a difference who wins" bullshit wrapped up in some fancy language

#can people grow up and stop saying hsm2 is the best. thanks #it's literally hsm1 and it's no contest. the songs in hsm2 are arguably better but the plot is so much weaker it can't compare #also i would argue the songs in hsm1 are better on the whole but the highlights of hsm2 are so high. but hsm2 also has the only skip #in the entire trilogy so what now #also also hsm2 is the only movie without a full gabriella solo song so that should disqualify it out the gate
