okay, doodle drop for the late night crew because i realized i actually have a lot more art piled up than i thought and i didn't post anything today
this gangle one was from today but the rest are old ... just wanted a bit of practice drawing her because i love her but she's really hard to draw man
these are the first doodles i did of ragatha i did after i figured out the basics of how i wanted to draw her... they're like 2 months old?? which might not seem like a lot but it's only a few days after my first post here that gained significant traction so it's relatively old
i've changed how i draw her a lot since then but idk she's still cute here i think...
and similarly, me trying to figure out how to draw jax... mainly an excuse to show off 'sports mode' bc i haven't had the opportunity to work that into a drawing since...
this is an unfinished buttonblossom comic i forgot about... might finish it still but i'll give you some parts just in case i forget it again.. that way you at least have something... or you can like poke me w a stick until i finish it if that's what you really want idk

I RETURN BEARING DOODLES OF ZE KEIK!
Hello again! :D I felt like drawing Keiki because I had nothing else to do and I also wanted to draw Keiki again because C R E A T E !
{Artists Note}:
So I had some ideas bouncing around for how I wanted to draw Keiki, and the first time I went with a more robotic look that was inspired by BoTW. I also wanted an excuse to try out some stuff with collages, and so I used an 1800s drawing of a skeleton to put this together. I added a face and a head just for fun, but tbh I wasn't 100% happy with it even though I did like how it looked. I might wanna save the BoTW inspired parts for a future Okina design as I think the constellation motiffe some BoTW Sheikah stuff has fits her more (and I have adopted the headcanon that she has prosthetics, I love it so much).
Like ok, context for this is headcanons. So as I mentioned in my post about Eirin, I wanted to play around with the visual idea of gods in Touhou being very much related to what they're gods of.
So at first with Keiki I tried just making her look like a haniwa herself, but I ended up not going with that as I like the idea of her being distinguishable from the Haniwa she creates. So instead, I ended up going with a more cyberpunk aesthetic for her, inspired in part by Cyberpunk Edgerunners (no spoilers plz, I haven't finished it yet). It's also the reason why I did an alternative cyberpunk outfit for her (inspired by a dress I found on Pinterest).
I feel like the hardest things about drawing Keiki are her dress and hair bandanna. In the image above with her normal outfit, I had a lot of struggle with the sleeves, and I couldn't really get her hair bandanna right. In the faces I drew of her I had a slightly easier time, but still, it's hard to get it to look right. However in the alt design I gave her I somehow managed to make it look right??? Don't know what I did there but I actually like how it looks, so I'll keep what I did there in mind for the next time I draw her.
Speaking of her alt design, it was actually a lot of fun for me to do. I imagine that's her more "official" outfit, don't know what she'd where it for but I mainly drew it on her because i had a cool idea ok?
Also, on the day I drew her initial face render, I had watched Serial Experiments Lain and I think those vibes bled into the sketch version. Upon further inspection of the rendered and coloured version it kinda lost that but it's more to try out a different brush for my style.
Also also, I experimented with giving her earrings! Which didn't make it to the final cut, but still wanted to try it out! This also came as a learning experience on what makes Keiki look like Keiki... it's the hair bandanna, every time she doesn't have it, she doesn't look like herself.
To end it off, I think the unhinged Keiki face I drew for her expressions (since everyone I've been drawing recently has kinda all been lookin like varitations of this face -> (o _ o) gonna need to draw more expressions period actually, need practice on that) is now my favourite unhinged Keiki face I've ever drawn LOL. Expect more Keiki sketches in the future because I do love drawing my beloved blue haired blorbo.

xxtc-96xx Callout post
To start I want you to know I didn't want things to have to come to this but after recent developments and discussions from others I cannot ignore what's been going on for years now. This is a problem revolving around the user @xxtc-96xx , the comic Endertale, and the Undertale fandom. I will try to explain what I know and offer proof when I can, but there might be some sloppiness as this is my first real post on Tumblr. If there is any technical issues about this post, please let me know so I can fix it.
Let me start from the beginning. I have been a long time fan of xxtc-96xx since about 2016 (I will refer to them as TC to make it easier). I have enjoyed looking at the art they create for many years, mainly the ones revolving around Endertale.
Endertale is a fan comic that TC made of the game Undertale. It's a very decent story with a pleasant art style. I would recommend it but I cannot and I will get to why. You see TC has suffered from something that just about any creator can relate to, burnout. The most recent comic page being posted in 2021 though there was already a hiatus established before that.
While they made it long clear that they needed to go on break for personal reasons, people wanted to ask for when they will continue it. Some of them calm and reasonable and other's were very much not nice. TC answered them honestly at first.
Then it started to devolve into troll responses or just not answering.
Not just on Tumblr but people kept asking on Deviantart as well. In fact people are still asking today in 2024. It has gotten so frequent that TC felt it necessary to change their profile header to this:
And it has stayed that way for so long I lost track of when it started. To be fair, even I found the frequent questions to be overwhelming and they just like every artist who makes stuff for free is entitled to take a break from their work. However this post isn't a complaint about how long it takes to finish a comic, it's about something that started because of the wait.
See, their original reason to take a break was because they were too busy with personal matters for them to commit to an actual comic. But as their history up to today has shown that's no longer a valid excuse. As time went on they started to show an interest in the Pokemon fandom. specifically the pokemon known as Mewtwo. To make a long story short, what started as small doodles grew into a whole bunch of fancomics and animations. To compare, they have drawn nearly four times as many Pokemon drawings compared to Undertale. Now, it is perfectly fair and acceptable to find an interest in a different fandom. And while I personally prefer Undertale over Pokemon I completely supported their decision to focus on other fandoms and enjoyed what they made. I also understood their issues with the fandom at the time, some people were rather aggressive, rude, or demanding the comic to be completed, a comic that's completely free that they make no profit out of. I even recall one point they tried to unsuccessfully drag a different content creator into this issue as if it would somehow work.
However I started to notice they had a warped perception on the fandom. Rather than blame the few people that harassed them online with constant asks, they believed that the entire fandom as a whole is to blame as declared it all toxic. Something they insist on repeating to all their fans and making them believe their opinion as fact.
Now for the record I am very aware of how toxic this fandom was and can be at times. I was around since the beginning and have seen just about every drama that has come. From the fans harassing you for not doing the pacifist route in the first time playing, people arguing if either Frisk or Chara is a really bad person, arguing over Frisk's and Chara's gender, is genocide the right choice, is Toriel the bad guy or Asgore, and a controversy revolving around a certain creator of the au Glitchtale (the last one TC coincidentally emulates their "Delay work for one week for every ask" and finds it amusing). I know this fandom is not the best but I love it all the same, it's as much a part of my life as it is for TC. I know I am not perfect at showing my interest for Undertale, as this image of a private ask shows.
Or this time I made a obviously joke ask and apparently I didn't realize a lot of people don't understand sarcasm.
Or when I tried to ask this sincere and nonaggressive question, one of the few times TC isn't putting up some kind of attitude.
Or this other ask from me.
At the end of the day this is just a comic. No one has any right to demand them to continue it or make death threats, this is completely unacceptable. However, at the same time this doesn't mean the creator should dehumanize the entire fandom or punish the few that are being respectful. They wait and what do they get, people mocking them and bullying them. That's what I realized in the past week when I engaged in the comments of a few posts. TC allow their fans to bully the fandom.
I tried to be as calm and reasonable as I can and yet I get called out as a toxic fan. And in the end did TC scold everyone else, no, they basically told me to shut up. I overestimated the fans intelligence and if they could handle basic logic, read the comments for yourself to see my point. As someone with Asperger and anger issues, it's a god given miracle I am still trying to maintain my composure within this insanity that has been going on for years. I have spoken with several content creators who asked to remain anonymous about this entire fiasco and we have similar conclusions about TC.
TC has been through a lot of painful and hurtful comments over the years that they did not deserve in the slightest. They are entitled to do whatever they want with their comic and works. Saying a fandom is or isn't toxic is unhelpful as you fundamentally miss the mark on how fandom culture works. As a creator, it is not right to hang this hiatus over people's heads and string them along. TC does not respect their Undertale fans in the slightest and mocks those who is still waiting. They indirectly encourage their other fans to bully and dehumanize the rest.
I held back on making a comment about all this for two reasons. One, TC's fandom terrifies me. They are complete smug hypocrites who spend way too much time on the internet that they don't realize that if they use their words in real life they will get punched in the face for it. Two, despite everything I still believe that TC can change. I like to believe the best in everyone and that there is hope that maybe this time TC will realize they have become the very thing they hate. That hope has faded to cinders. I'm done with TC, my only concern is the people remaining to wait for the comic.
To everyone who is waiting for Endertale and/or following TC because you like their Undertale stuff, leave them and never come back. They do not respect you, they look down on you, they laugh watching you wait, you deserve better than them. Even if they do finish the comic eventually it will not be made out of love or passion.
DO NOT harass and bully them because of my words. I will not tolerate any attempt to do so.
My final words are for TC if they even decide to read this:
TC, I know we are not friends, you made that clear long ago but I was hoping we could've been. You were a huge inspiration for me in the past and was what pushed me to attempt learning about art. I looked up to you and tried to support you when you were feeling down. You are no longer that person.
You do not have the right to condemn an entire fandom as toxic and declare it as a fact of life. It's people like you that keep the fandoms so divided to this day. It's because of people like you I am scared for my life if I ever mention Undertale in public. Your fixation on the sins of the past prevents us from moving forward. I do not excuse what happened but the past is in the past, get over it and grow up, you are an adult so act like it.
You say you don't owe us any comic or works, well at the same time if you want to mistreat the fandom I care about then I or anybody don't owe you any respect yet I did for nearly five years.
Why? Because I cared about how this all made you feel. What do you see when you look at me, another obsessed toxic fan who should keep their mouth shut or a PERSON with their own thoughts feelings and beliefs?
One of your problems is that you think nothing ever seems to be your fault, just the fans who keep asking. Well maybe they wouldn't have asked if you didn't leave them hanging for almost five years. To me, it no longer matters if you finish Endertale or not.
Maybe you still think it isn't your fault, then that makes me the idiot for hoping you can be better. You hurt me, really hurt me. I don't think I can ever trust someone like you again.
Do you know what I really want?
Your apology. I want you to make a genuine apology to me and the fandom at your actions over the years. I won't block you because being the idiot I am I hope my words mean something to you and you'll want to chat.
But until you wise up ask yourself this familiar question,
Do you really think you are above consequences?

This is gonna be long, so if you don't have the time to read it, it's cool, I'll summarise it like this:
I think I'm back. Kinda. Expect some blasts of Hol Horse fanart that I missed sharing here since November 2023 (if you followed my Twitter/X, you might have seen them)
Okay, I know excuses can be bad but here's mine to kinda justify my absence.
I admit that I had been feeling depressed with what's happening in P@lest1ne for the past 6 months, because I had never seen it happening in real time, in videos and interviews. 20+ years ago, anything about them came in the form of stories from actual P@lest1nians whom I had the privilege to meet during my volunteer work in school, and newspaper articles from local publishers. Our local broadcasters still chant FTRTTS whenever they talk about them. But the real-time atrocities and the aftermath really got me hard. I'm not one to shy away from real-life gore - true crime is my go-to documentary whenever I'm relaxing - but what's happening there - the injustice, the brutality, the depravity - can be too much for me to bear.
I'm not saying I'm used to it by now...I still hear my heart break with every dead and hungry child I see on my screen, but at the same time, I feel a bit more hopeful. Mainly because I believe in the P@lest1nians' faith and resilience, and I believe in mine.
Apart from world events, on a personal level, my company moved to a new building in December, about an extra 30 minutes drive away from my home, so I was almost on a blackout from online stuff back then. Didn't even touch the 1 Day 1 Hol Horse challenge (but thankfully they are done now...will share them later). The move-out was done around the end of January 2024, and then I got busy again with work in February. Work had been very hectic because everything had been disorganised since the move. Even now, we don't really have internet in the new building and had to use our phone data for that.
Wanted to get back last month, but delayed it until today because my cat was sick with cancer. My cat, little Vee, whom I had for 12 years, just passed 2 days ago, 1 day before my birthday ;-;
Anyway, all that said, I think I'm ready to be back now on tumblr. I know I missed a lot of drawings that I kinda promised myself to finish (like the Halloween Hol), and also posting the 1 Day 1 Hol Horse doodles. I missed other people's Hol Horse and HolPol fanart as well. I also have a few thoughts I wanted to share of our favourite JoJo cowboy too...
So in the next few hours, I'll be doing just that. I apologise for the massive spam that's about to come beforehand. Just note that if you cannot wait for the fanart blast, you're welcomed to dig for them on my Twitter/X.
On current notes, I'm in the middle of doing The Emperor Month Challenge. Basically, Hol Horse with the other Part 3 characters. I missed 2 days now, but I'll be catching up. This will be on until the end of this month.
For now, I won't be doing requests/art trades because I wanna start drawing for my JoJo OCs. I have been neglecting them for months.
Hopefully the depression will simmer down. The world is a mess, and I'm trying to soldier on.

drew him taking his weekly bathe in his takoyaki sauce jacuzzi, an important ritual for takoyaki connoseuirs who practice the art of excelling in takoyaki making by becoming the takoyaki themselves. Its also an excuse to get away from his cousins.
i also just drew this for fun, trying to imagine how he would look in the game but thats very hard lol
I also havent formally posted this one yet but i drew a samurai design for him a few weeks ago, mainly taking reference from kimono styles in the Edo period (which i think best fits him tbh).

UPDATE
Kicking my own ass into gear the next couple of weeks. Time really got away from me, but that's hardly an excuse for those of you waiting on your commissions from me. I know it can be really stressful as a commissioner to wait. Especially around this time of year with holidays, school, and increased workloads; we're all out here trying to survive. That said, you all have each been INCREDIBLY kind and understanding every step of the way, so I can never thank each of you enough. It really does make doing art more enjoyable and I always hope I can do right by your ocs/requests! I do also have some doodles to post soon as well. Mainly warm ups.

Doodle of elias and jeanne the anatomy is not good but I am very sleep deprived
Their relationship is very good for a long time. They have 3 kids together but were always better friends than lovers which is why neither of them were overly sad about the divorce. It went downhill after the incident (severe workplace injury) around 10 years before the story is set when he’s in his early 30s. They still remain close friends, even if it’s in a snarky way where they just insult each other constantly but oddly enough always stick around each other and get on very well. They have the same sense of humour in that way
Jeanne believes they should have just stayed friends bc they genuinely do like each other and elias is too busy fighting the most insane demons imaginable to even think about that stuff but he probably agrees…he just doesn’t think about being in another relationship since his divorce bc hes too focused on his job (until he meets Gabe that is, when he doesn’t have a job anymore)
He is good at his job. He gets results and is liked by his juniors but the higher ups don’t like him because he takes too many risks and is a massive liability. Occasionally his risks have paid off but evidently there’s a lot of times where it doesn’t and the consequences are pretty bad. So they were waiting for any excuse to sack him
Sorry I don’t usually talk about this story on tumblr I mainly post it on insta. It is my whole life and all I ever think about so I will take any opportunity to not shut up about it

Cobalt Fuax'guard, a Eohmynk who serves under Eoh'Mina. He is the descendant of the first created champion. Dood is kinda of a moron but for the most part he does try to act smart even when he can't. (This guy is kinda a hybrid between Sporis-mynks, Eldahk-mynks, & Maokla-mynks, but is mainly Sporis & Eldahk-based) (Made/Owned by me)
Edith "Amoure" (Last name is gonna be replaced soon), the innkeeper in the story of Noirvillah, was a dragon priest long time ago but was raised in a pseudo-Namira/Dragon worshipping subgroup but became against it afterwards. (This OC was made by me but was for a frend of mine aka @stridesthroughashes) (Edith doesn't know what having 1 gender is like-)
Brynhild Oath-Bound aka "Valdis the Wanderer" was the 2nd & only successful champion of Eoh, usually is reborn during what is the current era but it's quite random on what year she is reborn in while that era is still the current one. But in this era (E4), she wishes she was born in a completely different time since she kinda has to go through a lot of trauma over the years, especially in the era she is in rn... (Btw funfact: The necklace that's on Edith was originally Brynhild's but it's possible on a walk Edith just found it on the floor & decided to wear it since to her, it looked pretty.) (Owned/Made by me)

school got me busy asf again so here are some doodles of the Mean Girl of the Digital Circus, Nina (+ me trying to remember my Murder Drone OC's appearance)
and one that explains her and Jem's relationship (excuse the grammar and shit handwriting)
Jem is a mute and so far, only Caine and Nina can understand sign language, which is partially why Jem sticks around the prickly and guarded Nina. That, and they got a big hunch that Nina's mostly bark and no bite. Mostly...maybe a little bit bitey.
+ OC trivia:
Nina doesn't actually know ballet all that well. She knows some, but is mainly into gymnastics
Jem is a prankster - the preferred one, as their pranks are usually just for attention. There are lines they don't cross, altho they do still join in on a few of Jax's shenanigans
Jem uses he/they pronouns
Nina is a tsundere with a heart of gold. So far, Jem seems to be the only one to have won it. It doesn't deter some of others (cough Ragatha cough) from trying their luck at warming her up to them tho - she gives a lot of mixed signals, but if one pays close enough attention, they'll see her silently doing nice things when she thinks no one is looking.
Deep down, she knows she wasn't always like this, but not why or how she became like this. It's completely ingrained in her now
Jem oddly seems to actually enjoy being the circus. They were definitely shocked and confused during their first days here, but seemed to completely embrace their new life after a while
He's a sweetheart. A bit of a rascal, but is nice if you don't do him any harm

THANKFULLY @arcaneorderships i managed to exert some measure of self-control this time 😂 i don't actually know any languages written in cuneiform, and i successfully refrained from trying to learn just for a soft silly doodle. but i do think a lot about how the order might have seen/received/participated in the discovery of various human technologies, including writing! so if u don't mind: gay little headcanon time Φ ᆺ Φ
for my order, it starts with bellroc. it's not the most elegant system, just little scratch marks or symbols at first to keep track of an ever-expanding collection of materials for their alchemical projects. think very very early cuneiform, probably not yet even crossing the border between "picture" and "symbol." but in those days they are still more or less interacting with (very limited) segments of human societies. while i do think they come up with their own writing system at some point (cries in worldbuilding...), i think they'd also naturally become familiar with these other systems just because they end up learning to read them, and so they end up cribbing a lot of ideas. the gold thing bellroc is holding in that picture is meant to be one of these things: a kind of two-pronged stylus, one point with a wedge tip (for making cuneiform marks), and the other a smooth/dot tip (like a pencil). they might write mostly (though not only) in their own language, but rather than reinvent the wheel, so to speak, they just adapt a system they already know works well.
my skrael. is a weird case. i basically just recycled this headcanon from an earlier and much more embarassing fandom oc, haha. i think the term i learned then was aliterate—not "illiterate," but just. not concerned with writing and written text to the (massive) degree most human societies are now. basically: he's not quite dyslexic (i don't think), but he largely doesn't read written text unless he has to. even then, it's mainly a nuisance: he either has to pay a lot of attention OR "just magic himself to be able to do it." (and as you may remember from bellroc, i'm very fond of "migraines following over-use of even the best assistive magic.") so while he can read, he just...generally Does Not. hence gently bullying bellroc to read for him, instead. >:)
i do love the thought of the order + writing though, so in return for giving me the excuse to write up this little post:
"wow crow that outfit looks awfully similar to the one you did for double date night ship week art" after staring at that picture for two straight days i 100% forgot the embroidery on his cloak and yes, several months later, it still HAUNTS me :')
one day however... One Day... i'll get to the fic i designed this outfit for and then the whole order will be fancystuck for ever and ever aMEN

4. Fav character/subject that’s a bitch to draw
Overwatch: Probably Roadhog, mainly because of his mask. I'm also just not used to coming up w poses for him yet. Alternative answer is every overwatch character because their canon outfits are too much.
SWSH: Leon used to be the hardest, but I kinda got used to him once I stopped making his hair wings so round. (?? idk how to explain.) I guess honestly Kabu still has the hardest hair for me to draw of my SWSH favs, even with the many degrees of separation my version of his hairstyle is from his canon hair……..;;;;;
OCs: Dmitri's face shape confused me for a long time and made him the hardest to draw but idk maybe I could draw him more easily now…. (tbh i would prob just draw his face a completely different way from my original intention if I started drawing him again)
General topics: I so wish I could draw pictures of characters singing/performing in a dynamic way (mainly for Lafayette or Piers I guess) but I'm so bad at it. Also jewelry never looks expensive when i draw it, which is annoying.
5. Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself
I used to post almost 100% of my art online, but I'm trying not to do that as much bc fsr it's making me feel kind of weird and anxious to post every little doodle I do;; (????) I'd say I still post 95% of my drawings online tho & the only things I don't post are really sloppy things that I don't feel like are presentable or interesting.
12. Easiest part of body to draw
Tbh probably hands but only when I'm doodling and only when they're in specific poses that I draw a lot… other than that, I guess. faces. but I'm also terrible at understanding heads from different angles.
27. Do you warm up before getting to the good stuff? If so, what is it you draw to warm up with
Sometimes, but my "warm ups" are usually just excuses to draw something other than what I'm supposed to be working on LMAO;;; Usually my warm ups are just sketches of whatever characters I like drawing at the moment in some pose that I don't need to think too hard about. (eg: that lifeweaver dress wip I posted the other day was actually a "warm up" to working on new ovw stickers…. but then i ended up spending longer on that than on stickers dlskfjsdlfj)

Welcome to my sort of big post about my MCSM AU thing.
So a week or so ago I mentioned my idea of Jesse being Alex and Herobrine's child... and now it's spiraled into this.
The AU doesn't have a name yet. I kinda wanted to make a smart name but I couldn't think of anything. I'll think of something eventually (maybe like a short thing that the AU is about in the style of the names of the Episodes?? idk)
So... what is this AU about?
it's what it says on the tin, my friends.
Jesse is the child of Alex, beloved secondary human of legend, and Herobrine, feared King of Monsters and supposed Ruler of the Nether.
The two of them met through Steve, the first human and also widely beloved, who accidently introduced them to each other when they had an encounter with Herobrine. The two of them immediately took interest in each other (much to the distaste of Steve) and eventually... gradually got together. They've been inseparable since... until-
Anyway this isn't about them. This is about Jesse reconnecting with their parents, and all of their friends learning about who they are. Along with everyone else having meltdowns over Herobrine being related to Jesse.
When does this AU take place?
Post Season 1 is were it technically begins, but Post Season 2 is where it actually starts.
Post S1 is when Herobrine reaches out to Jesse for the first time since he had to leave. He writes a letter, detailing basically what actually happened (which I'm going to include in another post with all my Minecraft Lore) (I have a lot of Minecraft Lore.), and he expresses how sorry he was when he had to leave and he never stopped thinking about Jesse and Alex. He also says he's going to visit Alex soon, and hopes she'll understand too. He signs off saying he hopes they can all meet again, and maybe even Steve will be there too. Jesse makes a little response, basically saying everything is forgiven and society and they hope they can meet him too.
Post S2 is when it really begins. Jesse begins by asking Herobrine about the Admins, out of curiosity. Hero tells Jesse about when he had met them in the past and how he kind of thought they were show offs. "With their fancy, flashy powers and their overly-vast abilities. I don't think even they knew what they could do." Jesse asks some other questions, (if Herobrine knew the Old Builders, and the Order of the Stone) and they ask back and fourth for a while.
Jesse and Herobrine do meet up, as well as them meeting Alex and Steve.
Other things for the AU
I don't particularly have anything planned for this AU at the moment, but I do want to do some refs or doodles. Mainly because I LOVE Minecraft Story Mode and I haven't really drawn some of the cast?? and I want to so nows my excuse.
if I make a follow up post I'm gonna add it here (I definitely will)
