hot artists don't gatekeep
I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard
Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.
Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.
Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.
Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.
SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.
SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.
Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.
Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.
Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.
Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.
Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

For people with anxiety about filing taxes, here’s what things that happen when you make a mistake on your tax return:
- it gets corrected
- you get a letter in the mail either asking for some additional information or a letter showing the adjustment
- you pay the amount (there’s options for payment plans too!) or get a refund
Things that do not happen
- you’re “in trouble”
- you are charged with fraud
- you go to jail
I know that most people are probably just joking/exaggerating when they say a mistake on their return means they get thrown in jail but when I worked with the public I always would encounter people who believed that would happen and they would be panicking about it. So I like to put this out there every year because if I can even prevent one person from feeling that way, it’s worth it

Do you know about my free web based sketch app that rotates random pose references? 🤔
It's called AdorkaStock Sketch and you can access it on desktop or mobile. It will adjust to fit your screen! On mobile you can scroll down to see the options.
There are currently just over 2,000 poses in rotation with more coming. You can change the timer, skip poses, sort with filters, or try predefined class modes.
The site is completely free and thanks to my Patrons I was recently able to remove third-party ads! If you turn off your ad blockers while using the site you will only see my own ads.
You can also make a free account which will allow you to collect a favorites list and set sketching goals.
Please check it out and use it as often as you need to for pose browsing, gesture warm ups, or long drawing sessions (just hit pause on any pose!)

Happy New Year!
Ended 2023 with the flu and I am starting 2024 with steady recovery. Accidentally jinxed myself by claiming not to have been sick for a while, but thankfully had an extremely wonderful Christmas before the flu took me out! (My family made me cry in the best way and spent a lovely time with friends after).
A large chunk of 2023 was admittedly very hard for me mental health wise. The start was good and the latter half had lots of ups, so I'm going into this next year with greater determination and hopefulness. Got some interviews lined up for a couple non-art jobs and my art drive has been steadily returning to me, so I'm looking more forward to completing projects and starting new ones!
Thank you all for your support, for sticking around, and for the wonderful comments I find in tags! And as always, to those waiting on your pieces, thank you massively for your patience!

UPDATE
Kicking my own ass into gear the next couple of weeks. Time really got away from me, but that's hardly an excuse for those of you waiting on your commissions from me. I know it can be really stressful as a commissioner to wait. Especially around this time of year with holidays, school, and increased workloads; we're all out here trying to survive. That said, you all have each been INCREDIBLY kind and understanding every step of the way, so I can never thank each of you enough. It really does make doing art more enjoyable and I always hope I can do right by your ocs/requests! I do also have some doodles to post soon as well. Mainly warm ups.

In my freetime, I still mainly create art related to DnD, BG3, Critical Role, Dragon Age, and BLEACH. I do also dabble in other fandoms from time to time. So if you're a fan of any of those, welcome!
