Soo, how’s life going?
“Hurry up and take the pic Donnie! We’ll get caught”
“I need to find the right filter”
“When you said you’d show me New York, this isn’t what I had in mind”
Not me pushing my problems in my blorbos, nope

getting levi a power washer
@stygianoir and i were chatting about levi getting a power washer and this came into my head lmao
➼ he'd probably be a bit weirded out at first. after all, a power washer is just a stupidly strong hose, right? why would he care about spraying anything down? it just makes it wet, not clean
➼ once he realizes that 1) its strong enough to actually get the dirt off, and 2) there are various soaps that you can use to complement the water, he begins having a field day
➼ anything that is even remotely dirty, he'll use the power washer (as long as it's safe, of course). even if it could just be hosed down or wiped off with a cloth, he'll want to use the power washer, so the cleaning process will be "effective"
➼ this becomes his new hobby. he'll find public areas to power wash (as long as it's acceptable for some random dude to go power wash it). he might even start a side gig where he'll power wash other people's houses/cars to get some cash on the side.
➼ your house and car will be pristine. there won't be a single speck of dirt on it after levi gets his hands on the power washer. he'll make it a routine thing. saturdays are power washing days, where he'll spend the morning outside, upkeeping the exterior of your house, car, driveway, etc
➼ not only is it his hobby now, it's also a way for him to destress. he finds it relaxing and it satisfies an itch of his for things to be pristine and spotless. if you can't find him or know that he's having a particularly bad day, you can expect to find him outside, finding even the tiniest spots to power wash off

Ok this drives me nuts with Peaky Blinders season 1. It starts some time in 1919 as the first episode opener says. It ends with Tommy putting the black star in the diary on December 3rd.
Ada got pregnant (or was very early along) at the beginning of the season and had her baby mid-late season. So we know at least 8-9 months have passed from beginning to end. And I have very little experience identifying baby progress, but I’d guess Karl is still only a couple months old by the last episode.
But Tommy tells Lizzy that he’s been seeing her for the past TWO years since he got back from the war.
The war ended on November 11, 1918. Unless they all came back early (which I’m pretty sure they didn’t), they probably didn’t get home until around December of 1918.
So did they just fuck up with Tommy’s line to Lizzy? Or did they lap a year in the season, and it ends December 3, 1920?
I can’t remember and I can’t find it online anywhere if they say the year by the end of the season, but I feel like they kept making a point to talk about the new decade, so it feels like it was all still happening in 1919.
Anyone have any insight? I think they just messed up that line, but my need to be accurate for this fic is driving me crazy lol.
Edit: the answer is (according to scripts) it starts in February 1919 and ends in December 1919. Which means they just exaggerated the two years, since they were definitely still out on the lines when it ended in November 1918.
