Horror movie headcanons

UT

Rus - is mostly unbothered, but he enjoys reacting to things all the same, like screaming at jumpscares or clinging to whoever's closest whenever tensions spike. He just likes participating <3

Sans - generally unbothered, will usually fall asleep at some point...but. There are probably a few psychological horror movies that have him tensing unconsciously, or sinking down into his seat.

UF

Edge - completely and entirely unbothered. Doesn't usually speak during movies unless others are, in which case he'll contribute criticisms of methods used or plot holes in the movie. He’s an expert on both physical and psychological torture so he’s more likely to be annoyed by inaccuracies or poor storytelling than scared.

Red - is either also sleeping or laughs at inappropriate times. Gory stuff is mostly just funny to him, but paranormal stuff can stress him out a little, depending on the flavor. It has to be pretty well done to actually give him the heebie jeebies, and even then it's usually something he'll forget about ten minutes after the movies over.

US

Stretch - complete wild card. Some stuff doesn't get to him at all, and he wind up whispering jokes about it to whoever's next to him for most of the movie. Other stuff will have him clinging desperately to someone or a pillow and trembling, ready to pull his hood over his eyes if it becomes too much. The most likely of any of them to have a few sleepless nights because of a scary movie.

Blue - tries very hard to come off as unbothered but is usually at least a little bothered. Doesn't usually have lasting effects, but don't let him hold the snack bowl during scary movies or you'll probably wind up with popcorn everywhere at some point or another. Doesn't otherwise have very big reactions but he'll slowly get more tense and quietly nervous laugh at any commentary or jokes offered by others.

maybe the dark urge was the asexuality we realized along the way. but jokes aside, Khael is cool as a cucumber about it, of course! that's like the most natural thing to him - after all he never actually initiated sex with astarion at any point (even in the game! it was so fun when I noticed!) and waiting for him to feel comfortable in that kind of intimacy again was no issue at all (also, fun that they both feel comfortable doing it again in a graveyard, very romantic of them lmao). (also I like to imagine this is the moment both of them went "maybe I don't experience sexual attraction like the rest of the people around me" and just - rolled with it.)
