Leia and Anakin's relationship is so personal to me you don't get it. I will gobble up any fic that has them interacting. The fact that she is his daughter and Anakin loved her before he even knew she existed. That he wanted a daughter first with padme. That the parent who Leia obviously would take after personality wise ends up being the one who tortures her and takes away the only family she has ever known.

i think of how luke would call Vader his father but i know leia would never. in her mind she would be the child of breha, bail and padme. but never anakin. Also that leia only ever knew Darth Vader but never got to meet Anakin Skywalker. I know Anakin and Vader are one person but the fact she never got to meet the good person is what breaks me.
