but i have a torchwood discord server where we have fun and discuss torchwood/dw stuff (must be 18+ to join, sorry)

just me getting emotional over the fact that owen is the one member of the torchwood team that jack is most consistently physically tender towards

(aside from ianto which is different because romantic)

but owen is the one member of the team that most consistently receives caring physical contact from jack in non-injury circumstances

the one team member who is incredibly emotionally raw but also responds most to physical contact/physical gratification. owen spends his time fucking and drinking, burying himself in physical sensation, and then when he gets genuine emotionally open, gentle contact (jack, diane) he just totally melts into it, loses all that tension and anger and anxiety and just relaxes
