could you possibly give a Cliff's Notes on the Amo thing?

basically amo sends out anons widescale to random people where she'll namedrop herself, her bf, or a different tumblr user. The content of these messages vary but they usually have to do with amo being "bullied" and generally try to accuse the user of having bullied her or try to bait the user into bullying her (as you can see from the message i received)

but here's the kicker. These rarely actually succeed into baiting anyone into bullying her but if you so much as mention her name in response to one of them then suddenly you're going to get your username dropped in one of those anons! hence why I'm calling her amo because she tracks the tag of her blog url.

There's a lot of debate of whether or not these messages are actually from her but there's a ton of damning evidence, such as anons and burner accounts attacking people with private information that amo had previously gleaned from private conversation and a lot of repeating of phrases that she only said in private conversation. Personally I do think it's her and she has a laundry list of history with this kind of stuff.

Also the iconic tumblr moment she's involved with: oftentimes these anons will mention "Trashy Tasha" her ex bestfriend from the total drama fandom. There was a Tasha blog that was actually probably amo on a sideblog pretending to be Tasha but... the real (if she ever existed at all and wasn't also amo at this point) Tasha DID have a different blog. A blog with the url "tashalovesnirvana"

A Few Things You Need To Know About Dragon Age

With the understanding that some of this is my opinion, but that my opinion is correct. Also keeping in mind Gaider’s tendency to write a Manichean story and then claim it’s more complicated than that, to the extent that he usually ends up taking up for the side he wrote that’s blatantly, completely evil. Here is a short primer for people who make the massive mistake of playing Dragon Age Inquisition without playing Dragon Age Origins or DA2 (Origins is the best of them btw):

1) Loghain did smirk when he murdered the Grey Wardens and betrayed the Fereldan army. It’s right there in the cutscene.

2) Not making Alistair king is Wrong.

3) Mages are horrifically oppressed. They are oppressed less in Ferelden than in many places (such as Kirkwall) and yet they are still horrifically oppressed there. They are slaves who are regularly magically lobotomized as “punishment.”

4) Mages did horrifically torture Cullen, even though he was one of the few templars who cared about treating them well before they tortured him. (They were probably possessed by demons at the time.) Combine this with the Chantry purposefully addicting templars to lyrium to mentally enslave them, and how Cullen managed to be as together as he is in Inquisition is a mystery.

5) The Blight should be central to the whole world’s understanding of everything, and they should all be entirely focused on stopping it, but it’s not and they’re not. I dunno if this is weak writing or if it’s a parallel to environmental disaster. But basically the Chantry used the Blight as a power grab and to horrifically oppress mages, rather than trying to actually stop it.

6) Loghain sold city elves into slavery. After some human nobles gang-raped a lot of them.

7) Loghain apologists dni.

8) Regarding Dragon Age 2: The idea that Anders blowing up the Kirkwall Chantry also killed hundreds if not thousands of people is a retcon. It didn’t. It killed a bunch of priests, mostly. Also people who pretend this is like blowing up a church nowadays in the U.S. are confused at the very least. The Chantry was an organization with military might, whose power was entirely built on enslaving mages (and templars.)

9) The attempt in Inquisition to make it look like various oppressed groups sort of somehow deserve being oppressed is despicable. There are characters who join your party in the game whom I absolutely hate because they are part of said oppressed groups, and yet spend their time whining about how annoying anyone trying to no longer be oppressed is. I am hoping that Gaider being gone means this shit won’t happen any more.

I finally caught up on the past 2 episodes of youth mt and I have a few observations :

- On a grocery shopping trip, there will always be a few people with parent vibes and a few with kid vibes

- "Parsley" "yuh"

- The guessing with earphones game is one of the few things that made me laugh out loud. Especially "Baby professor"

- Itaewon team calling a literal professional chef to ask for the recipe of steak sauce? Feels? Illegal??

- WHY WAS THE COOKING SCENE SO CHAOTIC

- I have obtained more moments to further my 'Give Sung Eun and Chang Wook a romance drama' agenda

- Why was every main pair of each drama having a 'cooking together' moment? Director??

- That In Yeop stan getting to see him in person and getting a fist bump from him (I'm so jealous)

I know I don’t owe any of you anything but I still felt compelled to write about my long term absence. And I feel far enough away from the dangerous spot I was in to be able to make this comic. I have a therapist now, and she agreed that making this could be a very cathartic gesture, and the start of properly leaving these thoughts behind me. I am still, at seemingly random times, blindsided by fleeting desires to kill myself. They’re always passing urges, but it’s disarming, and uncomfortable. I worry sometimes that my brain’s spent so long thinking only about suicide that it’s forgotten how to think about anything else. Like, now that I've opened that door for myself, I'll never be able to fully shut it again. But I’m trying my best to encourage my mind in other directions. We'll see how that goes.

I am still donating all proceeds from my store to Palestinian causes. So far, I've donated over $15K, not including donations coming from my own pocket or the fundraising streams which jointly raised around $10K. In the time since I made my initial post about where this money would be going, the focus has shifted from aid organisations to directly donating to escape funds.

If you'd like to do the same, you can look at Operation Olive Branch, which hosts hundreds of Palestinian escape funds or donate to Safebow, which has helped facilitate the safe crossing and securing of important medical procedures for over 150 at-risk palestinians since the beginning of the genocide.

does anyone have like an anti aesthetic. like something you look at and can recognize as a complete fashion/interior design/artistic movement and understand it but it makes you shudder seeing it. i am not talking like “its morally bad” “its poorly structured” like just sheerly devoid of joy for you actually invites a repulse response.

#also if it wasnt clear this isnt ‘its bad its lazy’ there is a level of like #completion consistancy i am thinking for with this #personally i really do not enjoy the like. vintage chic long red nails fur coats noir esque aesthetic HOWEVER 💥💥💥#i can recognize that it is put together it is Intentional #i feel like a lot of people are going to say minimalism on this so LET ME SAY 🫰☝️ i recognize that minimalism is Considered an aesthetic #but i *PERSONALLY* do not consider it an aesthetic i consider it the void of one #it is a lapse in aesthetic or personality in the same way a silence in a song is still technically a ‘beat’ but no music is played #however the importance of Space or Breath in design is more akin to a purposeful silence in music #because that silence matters in the same way rhythm and breath in design do #so i guess minimalism is more comparable to like. white noise. the sound of a fan #very little effort and there is a comfort in it i suppose but its not.
