Thian & Yang: "I know this drama isn't as popular but legit they are the best brothers I can't even. The fact that even as children they were so close and supportive. They have different mums and were raised to compete with each other, constantly told to hate the other, but the whole time they stuck by each other. And Yang is so damn protective of Thian and Thian will stand up for Yang and the whole series I'm waiting for the classic 'bros are close, need drama/misunderstanding so they fight' but it never happened?? Thian was literally engaged to the girl Yang loved but they openly communicate the whole time, work together find way out of it. And then Thian dealing with the whole sexuality and the coming out scene where he can't say the words and he doesn't need to bc Yang knows and he doesn't care, he makes sure Thian knows he's loved and he'll do anything to protect Thian's secret and be there for him. I just love them so much and they balance each other so well and I love how they could be interesting and complex characters with great plot and there wasn't a forced third act argument for drama. their mums did all the hating, but those bros stood by each other every step of the way."

Jiang Yanli & Wei Wuxian & Jiang Cheng: "I find it really hard to talk about them without going on a rant and crying. Yanli is the best big sister ever. She always puts her brothers first without fail and her care for them is the glue they need when they argue. Even though Wei Wuxian is not their biological sibling, trust and believe Yanli will shut down anyone who tries to minimize their relationship or claim Wei Wuxian isn’t her brother. In return, Wei Wuxian is fiercely protective of Yanli and will literally kill anyone who touches her. Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian both love her to absolute bits. The relationship between Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian is more complicated, but contains no less love. Ripped apart by circumstances out of their control on top of being constantly compared to each other growing up, they still have each other’s backs and canonically would die for each other and prove this multiple times. Yunmeng trio my beloved❤️"

HC TIME! (+small casual au i made in 5 minutes)

Gordon Freeman (He/Him, Bisexual)

-Older than Felix by 56 minutes and 45 seconds

-Mom passed away when he was 5

-Was left with his dad and his brother, and his dad wasn't the most loving guy

-Despite being twins, Gordon always had more responsibility put on him by his dad than Felix, (even as an adult, which is why he's a substance abuser especially during work hours)

-Now as an adult, he works at Black Mesa where he was picked to help with a major secret test

-Having to deal with all the responsibility, bailing Felix out of trouble and being trusted with a shit load of work, he copes by having a massive ego, "I can handle whatever people decide to drop on me, I'm better and smarter than all of you" then breaks down at night

-Gordon has connections at Black Mesa and is chummy with the higher ups, no matter how snobby he thinks they are

-Realized he was bi a little before his 27th birthday, but he was raised with... A very old fashion way of thinking. (Hes over it now, he doesn't care who dates who except for himself, because... Guilt.)

-his dads death was a mixed bag of emotions, including guilt about who he is, but he doesn't like to talk about it

-Despite feeling guilt, it didn't stop him from dating a guy for a week before backing out and ghosting him.

-although Gordon cannot stand Felix sometimes, he still bails him out of trouble and he hangs out with him after work cause that's really the only person he has at this point (they watch movies or go out for beers)

-has mild paranoia

-Loves pirates, legit has a pirate costume he wears for fun

-sometimes he'll speak like a pirate to annoy Felix

-Gordon likes turtles for some reason, but he doesn't have time for pets right now

-loves sour food/candy, not much of a sweets person

(Causal AU)

The test went without really anything too bad, at the last second, someone turned the machine from 105% back to 100%, the portal didnt malfunction, however it still teleported Gordon to the area with the Vortigaunts and one attacked him, going straight for the face, knocking him over and damaging his eye and parts of his ear, once he teleports back he gets sent to the infirmary and Black Mesa is thrilled at the results Freeman was able to bring back, despite the cost of it.

Felix Freeman (He/Him, Demisexual, Pansexual)

-da younger twin

-has lived in Gordon's shadow basically his whole life (his dad paying more attention to Gordon, even if it was for negative reasons)

-this causes him to act out, even as an adult, getting in trouble at work (the job Gordon got him) by touching stuff he wasnt supposed to or taking things from work

-this, makes him look very childish

-his first week he met Barney and would have lunch with him, not telling him about his brother right away, not wanting to deal with comparisons

-Felix isn't much of a drinker but will go out for drinks with Barney or Gordon once in a while

-Felix is absolutely shit at video games shooter, but he still plays em with Barney sometimes

-is really into conspiracy theories, and especially loves aliens and the idea of alien life in space, he shares this love with Chell

-not much of a pet person but he thinks dogs are cool, mostly Chihuahua's cause Gordon hates them

-he almost set his kitchen on fire once

Barney Calhoun (He/Him, Transmasc, Bisexual)

-Grew up in a Latino household but he still doesn't know Spanish.

-came out as trans at 16, his dad was accepting, his mom not so much. His dad is still learning so he gets stuff wrong sometimes

-he loves planes, he trained to be a pilot but Black Mesa rejected the position and instead offered him a job as a security guard, he half-heartedly accepted but he makes the most outta it.

-he thinks ninjas are really cool and used to have a ninja costume when he was 10

-he was diagnosed with ADHD when he turned 20

-when he was little he had a slight tooth gap, it was barely noticeable so he didn't think he needed braces and refused em, but as he got older the gap got worse and he hates the idea of braced

-he once snuck his switch into work. He got caught instantly.

-he carries his phone and earpods with him everywhere

-his playlist is mostly video games OST and fanmade songs

-definitely has a thing for Gordon (for some reason)

-Barney has interacted with Gordon many times and is under the impression they're on good terms, however, he just so happened to catch Gordon when he was either drunk or high, so Gordon has no idea who Barney is

-Loves lost media, he finds comfort in it no matter how dark it is

-looooves snacks, his favorite is spicy cheese popcorn

-Drinks monsters like it's water (someone help this man)

-hes saving up to adopt a cat

Chell Nanako (She/Her They/Them, Pansexual) (NOT CHELLS MIND, this is my own version of her)

-was in and out in a lot of foster homes until she was 18

-They didn't get the best education but saw an ad for paid test subjects for a science facility called Aperture Science.

-She met Felix who was applying for the same job, they talked and exchanged numbers in the waiting room. Felix wasn't willing to sign the contract that said Aperture couldn't be held accountable for any injury so the job went to Chell

-Chell moved in with Felix, and they dated for a 2 and a half weeks before Chell realized she wasn't ready for a relationship and Felix realized he barely knew Chell and didn't like them that way

-Chell still lives with Felix and they grow closer everyday

-She knows Aperture and Black Mesa are rivals and they finds it funny how she's not allowed in Black Mesa

-Due to the way she grew up, they have extreme paranoia and intrusive thoughts about other people, she's only really comfortable around Barney, Felix, and rarely Gordon.

-Chell doesn't really get along with Gordon

-Chell loves strawberry flavor sweets

-loves Mountain Dew and drinks it when she needs an energy boost

-They doesn't really like chocolate

-She loves sea creatures, her favorite is angel fish

(Casual AU)

Chell signed up for Aperture Science's test subjects, she was asleep for around 2 months and then the events of Portal 1 happened, but instead, Doug Rattman was able to save Chell from being dragged back into Aperture by the part escort bots and he took her to a nearby hospital, leaving before she woke up.

Eddie Marlowe (He/Him, Transmasc, Gay)

-Gordon's ex

-he is the "I know a guy" guy

-used to just have a business relationship with Gordon (selling him stuff, and somehow, a human skull) but they hung out and became friends... And then...

-Gordon one day broke up with Eddie after a week of dating and ghosted him, he got played dirty and he never found out why

-he's a college drop out and lives in an apartment

-frequently dyes his hair but his favorite color is green

-he has a hard drive full of pirated shows and movies

-he has a pet bird named Dazzy

-his parents don't know about his... "Job" and think he's a salesman, which is somewhat true

-Eddie isn't a snack person, he prefers big meals

-Eddie is a great cook

I saw an ask where it said that Wednesday is the least traumatized and, if you think about it, it kinda does makes sense in a fucked up way. Even from a canon prospective, the list is simple.

Enid-Mother is a bitch who is never satisfied with anything she does. Father is a doormat despite saying he loves Enid(Parents who don’t stand up for their children are just as bad as the abusive ones, try an change my mind)

Xavier-Has all the issues that can come with dealing with a famous father who is also somehow absent at the same time. Plus, he’s accused of multiple murders and chained up like a monster.

Yoko- she’s a vampire, which means we automatically assume she’s old as shit. And that means she’s seen some shit. Enough said about that.

Ajax- There is probably some reason why he constantly stays high.

Bianca- Manipulative ass mother and an underlying reason as to why she changed her name. In that one episode, her mother started calling her ‘Brandy’ before Bianca interrupted her. So there’s something with that. On top of the stereotypes that come with being a siren.

Kent and Divina- The stereotypes of being a siren. There probably a lot of past issues with that for the whole siren group.

Eugene- Seeming to have no friends in the first episode we see him, which means there is probably past bullying. Then him being attacked by the Hyde along with his healing process.

Wednesday- Honestly had a good, but severely unconventional upbringing. Her biggest trauma is either putting trust in Tyler and gaining feelings for him, being the catalyst for Crackstone coming back, or not being with Eugene when he was attacked.

Like yeah, being stabbed and having to fight Crackstone was traumatic for literally the whole school but the other three things force Wednesday to deal with emotions that she’s tried to suppress. She’s used to sword fighting with her father and mother, she’s used to getting stab injuries from her childhood. But she’s not used to dealing with the feelings of guilt or anything romantic. The only people she had trusted before Nevermore were her family (and two other people depending on if you consider all of the Addams family movies part of the Wednesday canon. If you know then you know.) She felt a sliver of guilt during the aftermath of her fight with Enid.

And the reason I don’t mention the stabbing of Thing is because she does consider him family, even if she never consciously acknowledged it until then.

So like it’s been said, it makes sense for Wednesday to being the least traumatized.

Now if you take all that and apply it to the ‘Everyone but her AU’ then it definitely makes sense considering how much trauma Birb has.

Sorry for the rant lol. I have hyperfixation issues and lots of thoughts once I get going about certain topics cause if my ‘Tisim as my cousins/brother lovingly joke about it. I mostly blame my ADHD and my ‘tisim.

Listen, don't apologize for your hyperfixations and stiff, I ALSO have the Tism and ADHD, you're in good hands here 😌

But no, you're right. Like, everyone has fairly clear issues. At least from what we've seen (we don't necessarily have proof about Ajax, Kent, and Divina), Eugene and Wednesday are the only ones who have clearly loving parents. Wednesday has her family, of course, and Eugene has his moms. But even Eugene was bullied, I mean, poor kid doesn't have friends except for Wednesday and then eventually Enid. So all these kids legit have some form of trauma

And I'm this AU? It's a disaster, all these kids need therapy EXCEPT surprisingly Wednesday, the ONE KID who's already going to therapy. THIS is why these little disasters are so ride-or-die for each other, their families won't protect them so THEY will 😤

sam is looking extra beautiful today, i think part of it is the messier hair (and length). good lighting and coloring. lovely. oh oh, lame excuse for his more questionable haircuts. i too know the hazards of the random supercuts haircut that he must get on the road. let's blame it on that. maybe they advised him on the sideburns too

(oh god that reminds me. i think the worst haircut i ever got was before my mom's funeral. it was long at the time and i just wanted a trim because it was kind of scraggly, so i was moderately presentable for the funeral. i was in phoenix from out of town so i went somewhere random. and i got a very bad version of a Rachel haircut! in 2012! talk about insult to injury.)

not that we've really touched on it in a long ass time but it's also nice to see sam confident in being one of the psychic kids does not make you evil or a freak. back in simpler times that was definitely a struggle

okay, little pissed that in order to establish how cartoonishly evil the british men of letters people are, they had to kill magda. i think the horrific torture was enough to establish that, thanks. she didn't survive years of torture to get that cheap and pointless of a death.

good moments and lovely production value this episode. little shaky on the story but i'll take it

The Waifus (Kyle, Reverto, Cheval, Alwin, Lilia, Ena, Kayna, and Avinia) React to a Malzeno Monstie

Kyle

-Horrified. Absolutely horrified. Elder dragons have always been freaks of nature to him, but malzeno seems to defy all nature of science. He's legit afraid of your monstie because Kyle just doesn't trust it. The hunter jumps at every movement your malzeno does. He's just not a fan of vampires, and it probably has something to do with his brothers scaring him when he was a child.

-Fighting with your monstie scares him even more than being in the presence of it. The fact it can practically teleport from one place to another while attacking will definitely be in his nightmares. There were times that you've seen him run and hide during a battle. Seriously, your elder dragon terrifies him in ways you've never seen before.

Reverto

-Malzeno is one of the few elder dragons that he's never even seen or heard of. Reverto has only heard horror stories from Lilia and even then, he wasn’t really listening. However, what stuck with him is that this elder dragon has the power to drain the life of both monsters and people alike. How freaking awesome it that! He isn’t afraid of your monstie at all. In fact, he looks forward to watching it absolutely destroy things.

-That said, actually fighting alongside your malzeno is kind of scary. It doesn’t seem to care who’s on its side or not, and basically just tries to kill everything in the vicinity. The hunter is surprised with how physically strong it is due to its lithe appearance and learned not to underestimate it after getting flung into a wall. Still, he thinks it’s very cool and learns to respect it. Those little red things that fly around it are the only thing that scares Reverto. They remind him too much of insects.

Cheval

-He isn’t actually surprised that you managed to bond with a malzeno considering your past history with other dangerous monsters. That said, he’s worried about your monstie’s power. Cheval has seen what powerful elder dragons are capable of and considering your monstie can drain the life of others, he’s worried. Still, he’s learned to trust the bond of a rider and their monstie, so that’s where he’s putting his faith when it comes to your malzeno.

-However, despite Cheval’s worries, he respects that you are an incredible ally in battle. Somehow, your malzeno and Rathi work quite well together. While you’re strong and fast, she’s able to distract. It’s a perfect combination. Plus, your malzeno seems to like Rathi quite a bit, sensing a calming vibe from her. For some reason, it refuses to be aggressive with her. This behavior is relieving to Cheval. Although, it confuses him greatly.

Alwin

-The wyverian is both intrigued and horrified by your malzeno monstie. He’s never seen anything like it before but knows for sure it’s an elder dragon. Alwin actually keeps his distance as he studies your monstie. Not in a creepy way but in an Alwin way. He wants to learn more but is too shy to admit that. Of course, he doesn’t understand the vampire reference and you have to spend a good fifteen minutes explaining it to him.

-In battle, he gets to see your monstie’s powers firsthand and is in awe of them. Alwin literally has no words, and he doesn’t know whether he should be amazed or horrified. However, Shaulk has an answer to that. His legiana is deathly afraid of your malzeno and avoids it whenever possible, this includes on the battlefield. Most of the time, you deal with the threat as Alwin tries to get his scared monstie back to help you. Usually, the quest is complete by the time this happens.

Lilia

-Of course, Lilia is amazed by your malzeno monstie and immediately wants to get a closer look at it. Many hunters plus you warn her not to do this due to your monstie’s proud nature (along with the life-sucking ability). However, Lilia never learns from all her poking and prodding, and eventually decides to just study from afar. With your permission, of course.

-She is incredibly amazed by your monstie’s speed and power. Lilia marks your malzeno down to be one of the most powerful elder dragons in existence. Still, even while watching you she tends to get too close for her own good and ends up needing some medical attention by the end of the day. However, this just makes her warn all hunters to be wary when engaging this monster.

Ena

-Ena likes to believe she respects and adores all monsties, and they feel the same way about her. However, your malzeno proves to be different from the rest of your monsties. It desires to be near nowhere, even you. Perhaps it comes from its vampire nature or maybe it’s too proud. Still, no matter how scared she gets, Ena still tries to befriend your life-draining elder dragon.

-Your battles really help her do this because when your malzeno gets injured (which rarely happens), she treats it. Your monstie slowly warms up to the wyverian girl, who showers it with attention it didn’t even know it wanted. In fact, with Ena’s pampering, your malzeno becomes even stronger on the battlefield. That, or it becomes a little wuss whining for her attention after a single battle like a baby rather than an elder dragon.

Kayna

-For Kayna, she doesn’t even know what it is but she thinks it’s awesome. After telling her it’s a malzeno, she still doesn’t get it. Kayna has to do some deep research in order to understand that you have bonded with a powerful elder dragon. From then on, she bombards you with questions. Where did you get it? Can I see it in battle? Want to spar with Avmar? Cue the poor velocidrome getting its butt whooped by the vampire elder dragon and Kayna along with him.

-The teamwork during battles is actually incredible though. Both your malzeno and Avmar are fast, so it’s easy to disorient your opponent. Sometimes though, she focused on watching your malzeno that she fumbles up in battle. Luckily, Avmar doesn’t care for your monstie and is able to keep her from screwing things up.

Avinia

-Avinia is always hesitant when riders form bonds with elder dragons. Who knows if they will be able to control them? But seeing everything you accomplished, Avinia is certain that you will be able to forge a bond with malzeno. That said, she still is very careful when it comes to letting you into the village. Avinia is wary of a monster that is capable of draining the life of both people and monsters. She doesn’t want disaster befalling her village a second time.

-Thankfully, your malzeno and Frostfang get along quite well, making battles a real success. Both monsties like to keep to themselves, leading to rarely any fighting. Plus, both are loyal to their riders, so the chance of mistake in battle is very rare. Still, Avinia tends to stay out of your way because she does not want her beloved Frostfang to get caught in that life-draining blow.

Gen is doing exactly what I think a lot of us wanted to happen pre-redemption arc 😅

She clearly loves her sister to bits and knows her well, so it makes sense that she's setting up plan so the second things go south, her sister will be just fine

She also hasn't seen Gojo's redemption like we have and she wasn't there for the whole rollercoaster, so it makes sense she's super wary that her kind, soft-spoken sister announced that she wants a divorce and takes it very seriously. She loved Gojo like a brother of blood relation, but she's also made very aware recently that there is a side to Gojo that she needs to be worried about. And that's not to start the "she doesn't know him like y/n so she shouldn't judge Gojo like that" argument. This is me saying that there was someone who is the kindest and most patient person that Gen has probably ever met (and probably will ever met) fucking snap, Gen has every right to be on high alert of that person

Even if we're worried that her research will cause problems, we gotta remember that her steps are actually logical and loving. If I see someone I love so dearly standing over a pit of fire, I'm gonna wanna pull them far away from it. If they say they know what they're doing and I wanna trust them, I'm not gonna just shrug and leave I'm gonna wanna stay close and think of ways to save them if they fall in.

Either Sera is terrified because that's the first time she's tried to kill something or someone (glances over that Eula) told her that if the baby no longer exists, she can steal Gojo back. Then they handed her a box of tea and winked so hard their eyelashes fell off to signal what they really meant.

Also kinda random bc Sera makes my blood boil: (you wrote these characters so well omfggggg), when dealing with.... Unfavorable people, more often than not, you gotta really analyze the person and situation. Some people fear you if you yell or speak harshly and directly state your hatred for them, but people like Sera and several other people in this fic, hoooo boi. It pisses me off so much that in this society (or at least in my position) I always gotta play the "nice" card. I don't yell or speak super condescendingly to anyone. It's like fucking mind games. Even if I really really wanna slap someone for being Awful, I play nice to make sure no one can pin something on me. If you're always """"nice"""" then no one can say you've wronged others. It takes me forever to write messages to some people I used to work with because of this. I always gotta word it in a way where it doesn't sound like I'm blaming them or I'm being rude in any way, but if you read the message, you can clearly tell that I'm not the one at fault whatsoever. If for some reason a higher up had to see those messages they'd go "aw you've been trying so hard but your team just couldn't pull it together" and not "wow maybe if you asked nicely then you wouldn't be in this mess

[initial reactions] Legacies 4x13 - Was This the Monster You Saw?

Daini Light (Namagem) x Ashley Adderley

I found this pair, it's rare and I'm giving my reason why I ship it.

As you guys know, Ashley is Aki (megaman) love interest. Yet I don't feel it fit each other and felt rush. Daini (Namagem) is Aki twin or evil twin in the show, he is more anti hero material. Ashley and Namagem doesn't even know each other exist, yet I see potential ship in them, because of the dynamic they could give off. Like the dynamic emo boy x nerd girl, Ashley is portrayed as a nerd in the show and canonically is a nerd with a style in my perspective, while Daini is in fact emo boy cause of his conflict.

How I can make sense of this crack/rare ship ?

This two can meet at one point in the show. The time around the show finale or the end of the comic book. Either way this two meet offscreen when Aki isn't around

So maybe Namagem won't immediately fall in love but slow burn will make him go to a flame after he has feelings after he overcomes his trauma and issues.

Ashley doesn't want to see this stranger but they don't know when they will meet again. They will meet frequently at random places

At first meeting they will ignore each other, second meeting will be awkward, third is when they just talk a little bit due to how coincidental it is to meet more than one time for a stranger.

Daini barely know how interact with a person, good thing Ashley is the one who lead the conversation.

They chat about robotic and technology in general, once they know each view about said subject, they will think 'maybe you aren't that bad to talk with'. At some point they don't know they got comfortable with each other if they keep meeting and talk with each other.

I like to make a plot point where Daini need to help his family and Ashley got dragged into it because she care about her friends and want help them, calling the good guild doesnt help so she do this by her own.

She doesn't worry about being an armed, she know some self defense and have useful gadget like Suna but hers' is a stunt gun and shield protector, I mean at an episode she made a camera, flying drone, chemical substances, and a functional robot for science fair.

Daini as Namagem (no obsidian armor) just try to save his twin brother from total destruction while Ashley try to get Suna and Aki to save ground (Ashley thought Aki is in trouble like Suna, turns out he will be scrap metal if Namagem can't save him). So when these two meet each other again, they have teamwork (Namagem know it's Ashley but Ashley doesn't know it's Daini, she thought he was a robot master).

So these two have the same goal to save their friends it won't be hard to have a quick teamwork. After saving their friends, Namagem just leave and let Ashley handle his siblings. He legit trust her because he thinks this girl is like his sister, cunning and smart.

Of course, I want Ashley to interact with some harmless robot master. Maybe let Ashley help iceman with his autism speech literalness that almost freeze Daini when he tried to confront icey. Give a situation where Daini want to say his apology to fireman and Ashley help by trying to make sure nobody is on fire (literally). Hey what about Ashley accidentally meet Hypnowoman who try to help Daini overcome his trauma, won't be pleasant for him but at some point he needs therapy and a new home.

I want to make a fanfic, where Sgt. Night broke out of jail and start a fight with the Light family again but this time he's under someone control, at this point when Daini wants to fight Sergeant, he almost lose. But the robot master who were wronged by Sergeant came back to bite him in the face, so let say a scenario that Ashley managed to go into that battle field with a weapon.

Remember Chemistryman chemical that turn people into platinum, Ashley learn how to make that potion again from Mr. NRT himself this time (after convincing him to teach her high leveled science) she used that to her advantage.

She used that potion to Sgt. Night new powerful armor and BAMM that armor turned to stone.

I wanna put a quote. Sgt: "Who do you think you are, you're just a child" Ashley: "Yeah, and this child turn you into a statue, also what you did to everyone is just unforgettable."

She was a trusted crew mate and top officer for a goddamn Shichibukai. She's not just being a bossy bitch to some random guy, Zoro is very much as so enemy. They were recently at war. She tried to destroy his crew. He helped defeat her captain.

And yet there is clearly a moment when Zoro walks out of that room when Perona wants to ask him not to leave her here. She'd rather have an enemy there than go back to having no one.

God, she must have been so lonely.

By the way, seeing as she's been trapped here for at least a few weeks, WHAT THE FUCK was Mihawk doing this whole time?

What's the point of finding this secluded, nigh unlivable island to make your private fortress of solitude if you are just gonna be out there socializing for God knows how long? Does he not even have some fish somewhere he needs to check in on? Not a single plant that needs watering every fortnight or so? Is a cactus too much of a commitment for you Mihawk?

GET YOUR ASS BACK TO YOUR TIM BURTON NIGHTMARE ISLAND AND MAKE SURE YOUR CHILDREN AREN'T STARVING OR SUFFERING TRAUMATIC ISOLATION.

At the very least, hire a goddamn babysitter. Come on, dude. This is parenting 101.

(Vol. XXVII)

It was a love story from the very beginning.

Missing You

(7x09/7x12/7x14/7x15)

Hello my friends! I bring to you another volume from this series of metas.

Today is Edlund time!!! So we'll have a lot of Destiel here and Dean missing Cas badly, and being miserable for him too. Thank you Edlund.

I want to say thank you to my friend @agusvedder , she made the gifs for this meta and discussed with me the episodes.

Let's start this...

Edlund put order and re-direct the storyline

When episode 7x09 How to Win Friends and Influence Monsters started, I saw order and direction for the first time in many episodes. Edlund wrote a STOP sign on the road, and writes things as it should be.

1) He takes the Hallucifer storyline again.

2) He explains DEAN IS IN BAD SHAPE AND IS SUICIDAL BECAUSE HE MISS CASTIEL.

These two VITAL points, will be imprescindible for the second half of the season, and I guess the decision of getting back Misha Collins had been taken already, and they had to change things because COMING BACK TO WHAT THE SHOW WAS JUST THE TWO BROTHERS and playing A LOT with Wincest was lowering the rating.

Dean misses Cas

In this episode, we had people eating food with that substance Leviathans had put on corn syrup, and everyone was like intoxicated with it, acting like zombies. Dean was in the first stage, so he began to act weird.

Sam and Bobby noticed this, they pointed this to him, and Dean talks in self defense, but is very, very interesting the thing he mentioned first of all... Remember they were with their defense mechanism lowered, so his brain acted like a drink or a child, without strains, so... Look what Dean said...

"The best I felt in months..."

Okay, let's stop here... Dean is stoned so his words are the very truth coming out from his most repressed feelings... He had been depressed and suicidal the last months... He was feeling really bad, sad, hopeless... Why??? Because he killed Sammy's friend? That Kitsune woman?? No. Beacuse of Castiel! (Thanks Edlund)

Cas? Black goo? I don't even care anymore.

Right there! 👆 He mentioned Cas, Black Goo, the way Cas died, Castiel is in his mind the whole time. Is Cas the reason why he's in bad shape. He misses Cas. Badly.

Then, after this, Bobby attacks again, because he's seeing in Dean this suicidal behavior that worries him a lot. Knowing loosing Cas was the thing that marked Dean deeply Bobby tries to talk with him again...

BOBBY: I want to talk about your new party line.

DEAN: Party? What are you talking about? I don't even vote.

BOBBY: "The world's a suicide case. We save it, it just steals more pills"?

DEAN: Bobby, I'm here, okay? I'm on the case. What's the problem?

And as always... Dean is avoiding the topic again...

I'm on the case, I'm concentrated on this, don't put my head in thinking about that again.

BOBBY: I've seen a lot of hunters live and die. You're starting to talk like one of the dead ones, Dean.

DEAN: No, I'm talking the way a person talks when they've had it, when they can't figure out why they used to think all this mattered.

BOBBY: Oh, you poor, sorry... You're not a person.

Okay, here... Dean talks in third person, but what he says is legit, it comes from the bottom of his heart. But Bobby wants more from him. And because he is honest, Bobby is afraid Dean is trying to kill himself by doing the kamikaze thing. So he needs Dean to confront his lost and work on it.

BOBBY: Come on, now. You tried to hang it up and be a person with Lisa and Ben. And now here you are with a mean old coot and a van full of guns. That ain't person behavior, son. You're a hunter, meaning you're whatever the job you're doing today. Now, you get a case of the Anne Sextons, something's gonna come up behind you and rip your fool head off.

What Bobby is trying to say here is YOU WERE A PERSON ONCE, NOW YOU'RE A CRAZY SUICIDAL GUY. He mentions Lisa and Ben because that's the idea of a normal life a person that came out from the hunter life wants. And that's what Sam, Bobby even Cas thought Dean wanted for himself.

This is heartbreaking, Bobby is desperate, because Dean doesn't take his words seriously. He even use words wrong by the end of the speech. But Dean gets the message.

Dean was a person once. He had faith, he had his best friend, he had a thing not so Platonic growing in his heart for him, he trusted him, he was his savior. But he betrayed him, and when they were about to solve things, Cas was gone.

Of course he's depressed and suicidal... Because he not just lost Cas, but everything he represented in Dean's heart and soul.

During the episode, we discover the monster committed suicide... As a parallel with as in the river.

In episode 7x13 The Slice Girls, Sam talks about Dean's behavior too...

SAM: You know what? Bobby was right. Your head's not in it, man. When Cas died, you were wobbly, but now...

DEAN: Now what? Oh, what, you're dealing with it so perfect? Yeah, news flash, pal – you're just as screwed up as I am! You're just... bigger.

(...)

SAM: Look... Dean, the thing is, tonight... It almost got you killed. Now, I don't care how you deal. I really, really don't. But just don't – don't get killed.

Okay, they're having finally the conversation, because now Bobby is dead, and everything is out of control. But is interesting the word Sam choose to describe Dean's shape after Castiel's death... "Wobbly" like loosing stability. He had just lost his strengths, Cas, and that's sad but beautiful at the same time.

And I can't forget episode 7x14 Plucky Pennywhistle Magic Maneuverism where Dean wanted so so badly his rainbow toy... Exquisite.

Two Destiel dark mirrors

Then we have two blatant Destiel's mirror in episode 7x12 and 7x15.

Let's began with 7x12 Time after Time, after time.

In this one, Dean traveled accidentally back in time with Elliot Ness who's a hunter too, to kill Chronos.

And we had at the beginning of the episode a very bi-Dean scene very well known by the fandom, remember Dean checking out a soldier in uniform in the street? Yeah.

But we'll, back to Chronos, when they were about to hunt him, he said a very interesting thing...

CHRONOS: Lila, I'm sorry, but, you just – everything I said to you is true –

DEAN: Oh, he might have left out a few details. He tell you he's a monster who jumps through time?

CHRONOS: [shouting at DEAN] I'm a God! [speaking to LILA] Look, I'm not a monster. Listen. I'm the opposite.

Chronos is trying to convince Lila, his lover, about his true identity, but pay attention to his words... Is a recall to what Dean and Cas had to live when CAS was on the dark side. Even the word God is a reminder of Godstiel.

Let's continue...

ELIOT NESS: Well, don't forget to tell her about all the people you murdered along the way, boy scout.

LILA: What?

CHRONOS: It's not like that. I do it for you, Lila.

LILA: I don't understand.

Okay are we again on that cabin with CAS trapped in the fire?

The word boy scout it talks about a good, kind and nice person that make things to help others. So we could call that Cas too, because he thought he was doing what he was doing for the greatest cause.

Now... Chronos says those words to Lila "I do it for you." And that's to put a finger on our wounds, people... Yes the same phrase Cas repeated to Dean.

Let's leave Chronos right here, and continue with episode 7x15 Repo Man (Edlund's).

I want to point here, this one was a blatant mirror, written so exquisitely by Edlund, and choosing each word, to make us see how Dean was feeling about loosing Cas... Pay attention...

JEFFREY: Did you ever think that maybe I loved being possessed? Did you?

Now, the word connection here, as a mirror of the profound bond between Dean and Cas. Dean loved it.

Castiel saved Dean from Hell, we can say he liberated Dean from perdition. Then, he gave him faith, a purpose in his life. A new and true mission.

Again... Cas was his faith, his strengths. He changed Dean's life for ever.

Okay, isn't this a description of what Dean is feeling now? Jeffrey is describing Dean's behavior and cause of his depression by describing his own experience with the demon. And is beautiful, because this is previous to Castiel's return in episode 17. Like a premonition, a preparation.

Yes, my friends, Edlund is emphasizing DEAN IS IN BAD SHAPE, SAD, DEPRESSED, SUICIDAL, FOR CASTIEL.

After this, Jeffrey can summon the demon, but he possesed another body, and not him. And he gets jealous, well, this is kind of hilarious because when Dean found Emmanuel, he was married with his female version, but, it felt kind of a cheating, isn't? Okay, we could say... This is a foreshadow to that. 🤣

To Conclude:

These episodes written by Edlund showed us Dean was in bad shape because of Cas. Drawing a couple of Strong's points like Dean being stoned and talking without strains about his feelings and Cas and Bobby talking with him because he sensed his suicidal behavior.

There was two dark Destiel mirrors, but the one that was a blatant and heartbreaking was Jeffrey and his demon. We could say each word Jeffrey said, it was Dean talking about his lost connection with Castiel.

These episode were a preparation to Misha's return in episode 17.

A concept where y/n devoted her life to studying and even after finishing college a little faster (because she's hardworking), she doesn't accept the fact that there's something beside studies. But a twin tries his best to convince her otherwise because he low-key likes her and doesn't want her to be overwhelmed

y/n here would be exactly like my real life best friend. she is nose deep in studying and i think everyone around her, including me is trying to convince her that it’s not :))

Y/n has never been the number one choice of everything. She’s got a sister and her sister beats her in every aspects of life, at least that how she thinks.

She’s always the last on to be picked during sports. She’s always given the sloppy second or used toys and clothes from her sisters.

She was never prioritized. She was never first.

At least it all changed when started burying herself in books, closing the world of by having her nose deep down in textbooks. She never knew that all these readings would give her a first place in academics.

As young as in elementary year, Y/n knew she wasn’t smart and she needed to study harder than most people and she did. She beat all the odds and came first place in competitions and school.

She swept all through the awards offered by school. In junior high, she started becoming the president of the student council and acing all the AP classes.

She finished high schools with trophies, awards, medals and a valedictorian for a straight whole year of high school.

These awards and the smiles from her parents motivate her more to study and fall in love with these logarithm, algebra, organic compounds, and all those stuff that are incredibly hard to understand. She takes pride in learning and mastering them, in a way of consoling herself for never being the first pick of everyone in anything, except academically.

It wasn’t hard to get in to the Ivy leagues or anything, name any university and Y/n would 100% get in with ease.

It was one day when she was late night in the library. Call it destiny, fate or maybe an accident.

Someone opened the door and stupidly enough locked the two inside. Y/n was scared. Really she was, afraid that it might be a serial killer on the loose or a pervert at night.

“Holy shit.” He cursed when he saw a back under the silhouette of the big window. When she turned her head around, there, her heart stuttered for a second.

What she didn’t expect was to meet a guy, so incredibly good looking that he could pass becoming a Calvin Klein model.

He lightly scratched the back of his head, “Hi,” as he hand out his hand.

Y/n is a part of the student body so she knew legit everyone in school and she never saw him before.

She cocked her head to the left, “You’re not around here, are you?”

He smiled sheepishly and took his hand back while shaking his head.

Y/n pulled her eyebrows together and the guy infront of her grinned awkwardly before nodding his head. “I’m Ethan Dolan, by the way.”

“Y/n, Y/n Y/l/n.” She replied with her head nodding slightly.

Ethan, on the other hand, was surprised. Not to sound cocky and egoistic, there’s legit no one in the world around her age and species would not know who the Dolan Twins are.

This girl infront of him was not freaking out, was not screaming in front of his face, shoving phones or paper for him to take picture with and sign.

This girl was so normal that it didn’t fit to his usual life. She’s different.

They spent their night talking, Ethan was talking about how he was recording a video with his twin brother.

Their video idea was about hide and seek but in a bigger scale. So Ethan hid in one of the universities’s library and somehow locked himself in with a new girl.

Y/n was confused, why would people be doing this late at night? But nevertheless Ethan made Y/n laugh, a lot.

Which was a rare moment because Y/n doesn’t really connect with the outside world, per say.

Ethan even showed his videos to Y/n through her laptop and she was just watching through his old videos. While Ethan was just staring at her, amused. His lips would slightly twitch when she laughed at his jokes.

When she was about to subscribe, her eyes widened at the huge amount of following. “You didn’t say you’re famous?”

“I’m not, really.” He shook his head while Y/n just laughed.

“Just liked it when you’re treating me like a normal person not an internet celebrity.” He continued.

“Trust me, I’ll treat you as normal as I would treat a human.” She shook her head while laughing.

When morning arrived and the library doors were opened, they exchanged numbers and a hug before separating.

That night not only did Ethan gained a new subscriber, he gained a new friend.

“Y/n, let’s hang out.” Ethan whined through his phone.

While Y/n has her phone on loudspeaker as she’s jotting down and double checking her flash cards.

When Y/n didn’t answer, Ethan continued, “Y/n?”

Y/n hummed and Ethan asked again, “Hang out?”

“I can’t, I have finals coming up.” She reasoned out while writing through her flash cards.

“Y/n, you’ve been studying for the last 24/7.” Ethan groaned and Y/n chuckled, imagining Ethan rolled over his bed.

“I can’t, this one would be very crucial.” Y/n said while adding some more words on the cards.

“FIne, study well.” Ethan bid his goodbye and Y/n could just hummed before pressing end call.

Y/n sighed as she looked around her organized pile of books and notes around them all. She nodded her head and convinced herself that this is the only thing she should learn if she wants to get the first place.

She needs to or she would be back to sloppy second.

Ethan reached her dorm room and Y/n was bundled in her blankets. Her eyes have dark circles underneath and her eyes red. Her nose is really red and blotchy cheeks.

“Bub, you okay?” He breathed out as he walked closer and locked the door.

Y/n saw Ethan’s worried face and she broke down completely. She shook her head and soon enough it triggers her waterwork as it’s flowing fast. Ethan rushed to her side and pulled her into a tight hug.

“You’re okay.” He cooed as he traced her back and patted on the slightly. Y/n shook her head. Her tears smearing on to Ethan’s clothes and she leaned back words.

“Your clothes.” She croaked and Ethan just shook his head and brought her back into his arms.

“Wanna talk about it?” He asked softly while bringing Y/n closer towards his lap.

“I failed.” She cried out loud and Ethan looked at her.He turned his head towards her nigthstand and saw a paper with 95/100.

“Y/n, you got 95.” Ethan was so proud and confused. While would she be crying over such a good result?

As soon as she heard her score number, she cried harder and shook her head. “Lucy got 100.”

Ethan would just have to pretend that he knows who Lucy is. He remembered Y/n talking about her as the rival. Someone who is on her tail to get back at Y/n or a higher score than her.

Ethan really wanted to ask her, why? what’s wrong with losing to Lucy? 95 is still such a high number. But he held himself back, knowing that if Y/n needs someone to talk to, she could always turn to him.

He gave her the time.

He wrapped his arms tighter around her as she cried harder around him.

“I tried so hard, so hard.” Y/n said exasperatedly. Her eyes were weary and her hands moving violently.

“Y/n.” Ethan called for her name while standing in front of her. While she was breaking down.

Y/n shook her head murmuring, “No, No,” with her hand grabbing the side of her head.

“Y/n.” Ethan called her more sternly and Y/n halted her movement.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she shook her head and let all her guards down, “I can’t.” She whimpered.

Ethan sighed as he wrapped his arms tightly around the girl of his dreams. They stood there silently while Y/n is messing up her makeups and smearing tears on his shirt.

A small hiccups here and there and gentle “It’s okay.” Every now and then and somehow it calmed both of them down.

When Y/n was already calm, Ethan motioned her to his couch. He brought out blankets and wrapped them around her.

He walked in to the kitchen and preared a chamomile tea for the two of them, remembering that Y/n adores the tea.

“Wanna tell me now?” He asked silently and yet there’s a strong determination that is unwavering there. Somehow that made Y/n wanna tell him everything.

Y/n took a deep breath before ranting out all her frustration. All her fears and insecurities.

How she’s always second to her sister.

How she’s never the best in her family.

How she’s always nicknamed sloppy second by her cousins.

How she tried so hard and never once succeeded.

One of the many reasons why it molded Y/n to be the person who she is right now.

As she started spilling out her worries, Ethan somehow understood. Ethan has a twin and when the world is so carelessly comparing the two, he knows the feeling of becoming second.

He understood but he couldn’t put to words and comfort her because he knew, he knows that no words could comfort her mind and heart for being broken for so long.

“Y/n, I know it’s annoying when people say this,” He put the falling hair behind her face fram and smiled softly. Y/n’s puffy eyes looking back at him.

“You’ll always be my first choice, okay?” He whispered.

And goodness knows that Y/n hates cheesy stuff but somehow Ethan’s words stirred up feelings in her chest

Maybe it’s the way his gentle eyes looking back at her with adoration and sincerity. Maybe it’s the way his calloused hands softy tracing random patterns on her back and fingers playing her hair.

Maybe it’s because it’s just Ethan and her heart soars for him. She believed him.

She believes him.

She smiled softly and Ethan’s heart tutted and her sincere smile. He promised himself that day to keep that smile on for the rest of his lives.

Ethan leaned forward and pressed his lips on top of her head. “You’re my priority.” As he leaned back at stared at her, he continued, “Always.”

I've only read parts of World of Ice and Fire, but one of the things I liked about it is that wrong or not Maester Yandel isn't just a strawman skeptic and that does give legit reasons for a lot of the stuff he says along with qualifiers like "Maybe whoever inspired the Children of the Forest legends really did know some lost arts that we don't understand like speaking with ravens, but that doesn't mean they had literal magic powers and could summon tidal waves and warg into beasts"

Yeah… I guess he’s not a strawman, but Yandel’s just so blatantly wrong sometimes it’s embarrassing. Like, for example:

It was the children who carved the weirwoods with faces, perhaps to give eyes to their gods so that they might watch their worshippers at their devotions. Others, with little evidence, claim that the greenseers—the wise men of the children—were able to see through the eyes of the carved weirwoods. The supposed proof is the fact that the First Men themselves believed this; it was their fear of the weirwoods spying upon them that drove them to cut down many of the carved trees and weirwood groves, to deny the children such an advantage. Yet the First Men were less learned than we are now, and credited things that their descendants today do not…

Archmaester Fomas’s Lies of the Ancients—though little regarded these days for its erroneous claims regarding the founding of Valyria and certain lineal claims in the Reach and westerlands—does speculate that the Others of legend were nothing more than a tribe of the First Men, ancestors of the wildlings, that had established itself in the far north. Because of the Long Night, these early wildlings were then pressured to begin a wave of conquests to the south. That they became monstrous in the tales told thereafter, according to Fomas, reflects the desire of the Night’s Watch and the Starks to give themselves a more heroic identity as saviors of mankind, and not merely the beneficiaries of a struggle over dominion.

Oh, and there’s this especially fun bit:

Claiming to have consulted with texts said to be preserved at Castle Black, Septon Barth put forth that the children of the forest could speak with ravens and could make them repeat their words. According to Barth, this higher mystery was taught to the First Men by the children so that ravens could spread messages at a great distance. It was passed, in degraded form, down to the maesters today, who no longer know how to speak to the birds. […] Ravens are amongst the cleverest of birds, but they are no wiser than infant children, and considerably less capable of true speech, whatever Septon Barth might have believed.

“It was the singers who taught the First Men to send messages by raven… but in those days, the birds would speak the words. The trees remember, but men forget, and so now they write the messages on parchment and tie them round the feet of birds who have never shared their skin.” –ADWD, Bran II

So, in a world where we know magic exists and the greenseers can see through the eyes of the trees, where we know the Others exist, where we know wargs exist, Yandel just comes off as stupid or deliberately ignorant. I mean, it tells us a lot about the Citadel and how their anti-magic agenda warps even curious and intelligent men into this really obvious blindspot, but it’s… sad. Sadly hilarious sometimes, but still.

And IMO it puts Yandel’s historiography in doubt in general, where how can we really believe that anything he says is true? Sure, often he’s just quoting other sources (like Archmaester Gyldayn’s histories of House Targaryen, and works by other maesters), but how many of those sources are missing magical motivations and magical events because the Citadel censored them or encouraged the writers to dismiss them as nonsense?

Furthermore, it’s not just magical things the maesters censored, but political motivations and events, depending on the whims of who they were writing for. Gyldayn quotes Septon Eustace often re the Dance of the Dragons; but Eustace was on Aegon II’s side, and wrote blatant false propaganda like saying Rhaenyra’s arms and legs were all cut up the first time she sat the Iron Throne… even though she was wearing full armor. How much else of Eustace’s words can we really trust? In addition to this, another source for the history of the Dance was Grand Maester Orwyle, who wrote his account to flatter Rhaenyra to save himself from being executed. Not to mention another major source, Mushroom’s account, which was a deliberately scandalous rag full of debauchery that may not have even been written by Mushroom himself. And to make this even more difficult, sometimes the editing of the history novellas (as published) cut out bits where Gyldayn said he was quoting Eustace or Orwyle or Mushroom, so it’s presented to the reader as straight facts!

And then there’s Yandel himself. According to Elio Garcia, when Robert died, and Ned Stark was arrested and executed for treason and the War of the Five Kings began, Yandel realized his recent history, his accounts of Robert’s Rebellion and the Greyjoy Rebellion, had way too much hero Ned Stark and hero Stannis Baratheon in it. (Robert’s best friend and Robert’s brother, after all.) So he cut them out as much as he could, and rewrote. Paragraphs that originally praised Ned and Stannis for their generalship and their success in battle, were heavily edited to exclude them from the narrative after Joffrey declared them traitors. That leads to a lot of awkwardness in those sections, where some readers may go, “wait, this is missing something”… but unfortunately many readers won’t even realize what Yandel did. TWOIAF is “the untold history of the Game of Thrones”, after all! It’s got be true, right?

Although at least Yandel’s writing to please the king is extremely obvious (and odious) in the section of the Sack of King’s Landing, where he says that Tywin’s men fought “the defenders of King’s Landing” (and doesn’t mention the rape and murder and sacking of the innocent populace), and then goes on to say “it is not known” who murdered Princess Rhaenys and Prince Aegon, and raped and murdered Princess Elia. That Yandel even includes the supposed rumors that Aerys ordered it done, or that Elia murdered her children herself, instead of including any word possibly damning Robert’s father-in-law Tywin… well, that should recognized by all readers, I would hope. (Though considering how much irrational Elia hate there is, I doubt it, alas.)

Basically, Maester Yandel is a very unreliable narrator, and in some places it’s more obvious than others, more or less noticeable by the readers. I mean, it’s excellent worldbuilding, no doubt about that. It certainly deals with the concepts of history being written by the winners, and the problems of conflicting historical sources, and the nature of academia, and everything. But sometimes it still worries me when fans (especially other meta writers) accept these deliberately written-to-be-biased sources in TWOIAF and the history novellas (and eventually Fire and Blood) as absolute truth.

I love how everyone in the comments had agreed that Naoya had done something. Like the man knew why he did the question to Toji about y/n being his wife. Still even after sleeping with step mom Gojo it's hard to hate him idk why I love the gossip queen Naoya...

Step mom Gojo. I saw that comming. I mean she ruined a family once why wouldn't she do it again? I have 2 theories for her. 1. She wants to give the company to Yuuta cause she loves her son more than her step son. 2. She wants Satoru out of the business so she can freely manipulate Yuuta using the excuse "I'm your mother I'm doing it for your own good"

Idk how Yuuta will react to things like that I mean from previous chapters he looked like he cared a bit about Gojo (like when his father hit him he told him to stop) and he seems like a sweet person so it's hard to predict how he will react/ what he will do once he has to overthrow his brother from the empire and literally leave him with nothing (except if they feed him with lies which is their specialty like cmon)

A PREGNANT SERA. Why am I not surprised? I'm at the dc server and we were all like "She's preggo I just know it". Sera's manipulation is going to go on another level. It's kinda obvious she's blinded from the shiny things he spoils her with but she's missing one point. Once the infidelity is revealed (because how can you hide a child) she doesn't understand that this will hurt not only MC but Hoejo mainly. The baby will be exactly the reason why the merge between MC's company and Gojo's will stop cause I don't expect Gen or her father letting MC stay in a marriage like this and it will help any rivals and in our case Gojo's step mom to overthrow him because "he failed as a businessman". She can keep it but with Satoru overthrow from the company he won't have the same money to spoil her. So she will be stuck with the "revenge baby", a traumatized Satoru who doesn't have MC to vent on or be comforted by, and no money. So she had to realize that this baby will be not only destroy his marriage (which she wants) but will also be Satous downfall and her downfall (she also might get fired so good luck finding another job with a baby in ur arms and a husband who has never been poor in his entire life).

MC... We stan Y/n... I'm actually worried about her. Her heart won't take it when she finds out about the baby (cause I'm sure sera will tell her about it in an effort to destroy her and the marriage).. I can see how she tried to distance herself but she cared about Hoejo even after everything he has done due to her kind and caring nature. If she reacted like that with the condoms before she learnt it was for her imagine what will happen with a BABY. She puts herself in more danger and I'm worried about the next chapters that something will happen and her Heath is gonna deteriorate. My precious MC doesn't deserve this....

Toji... after what happened to naoya I don't trust him. I'm a Toji stan and legit wished that MC and Toji will get together but I'm scared if there is something behind him we don't know.. But my dude has me begging on my knees and I didn't do anything to the MC... Dilf supremacy🛐🛐🛐

As for Hoejo SlutoruGojo. His end is comming soon. He will realize what he have done once he is on the street with sera both without jobs and money. But that's what you get. You can't have everything. He was given the chance to choose many times between his mistress and his wife. He chose the first now let him suffer. He has the audacity to suspect MC for cheating. Like honey that's your job not hers. In the beginning of the character I was feeling a bit of compassion for Gojo but finishing the chapter I went back to wanting him to suffer. If he inflicted so much pain to someone who didn't deserve it he deserves to suffer. But karma is a b1tch:))

Note: I saw in a post when we were simping for Toji and you said that Gojo is still the husband and to give him a chance. Well we gave him many chances he facked them up sooo it's time for him to suffer and MC to shine.
