For me idk my theory is they go for comatose Eddie and his parents will get to learn Buck is his legal guardian also I was thinking Tommy knows Christopher but like would he be ok with the knowledge Buck literally has a son
Hmm... Comatose Eddie is one of many theories going around and I'm just thinking, would they really pull the same arc two season in a row? Maybe. Not saying I wouldn't like it, but I'm still leaning towards injured Eddie.
But I am in complete agreement that Eddie being put the hospital some way leads to his parents finding out Buck being Christopher's guardian and the drama will be too delicious.
Honestly, one of my head cannon is that Tommy likes kids, but doesn't want them himself. Which will create another crack in the bucktommy foundation...maybe its even the final breaker for them?

Stuck on the couch of it all - much like so many of us but I’ve been thinking about the couch in the camper (still so obsessed with the camper van - so so much to unpack and unpick with that camper and how its Buck, Eddie and Christopher in microcosm!!) and how Eddie was trapped between it and the fridge - but also how he was essentially thrown into the couch and then trapped by the fridge and how that actually ties in very interestingly with both theories - fridge and couch.
Because there is something in how the woman who was a reflection of Buck - taking care of her friends child and keeping the things they shared alive and so the memory alive as well (not to mention the coffee metaphor thrown in there too!)- ended up laid out on the couch before she was rescued and have that shown to us from very similar angles that we see Buck sleeping on the Diaz couch.

Then to have Eddie thrown into that couch and hold out his st Christopher over said couch that he is now pinned to by a fridge which is the same colour as his ovens (the very thing we’ve seen him and Buck using in their respective houses this season when we haven’t before) and kitchen utensils (again the colour of which Buck ad Eddie share). When we have a fridge theory that is an embodiment of of Eddies life - the magnets and their comings and goings representing aspects of Eddies life (the little magnet people being the firefam - his found family, the ghost of Shannon memorialised in photographs and Christopher - always being present in varying amounts through pictures and school calendars etc) and where he is mentally - forcing him and trapping him on a couch when the Diaz couch has visually been shown to be a place of safety, comfort and home for all three of them.
Then to have him hold up the representation of the will over the couch present in the scene - over the place where the woman who was a representation of Buck - well thats pretty telling to me.
Tumblr media
especially when we then saw Buck help Eddie get out of where he was trapped and then have them sit together for a moment (where Eddie shuffled a little bit closer to buck) - they of course got called away to continue rescuing and helping the fire fam, but the fact that we got to see that little moment was a call back to the hardware store and Bobby telling Eddie how ‘Athena sat with him in the moment and things grew from there’
Tumblr media
The universe is pushing Eddie closer to the answer - to figuring out things for himself because if the fridge is a metaphor for Eddies thoughts/feelings - a physical representation of where Eddie is mentally (for the audience) then a fridge (in a microcosm representation of the Buddie story) pushing him closer to the couch and then waving the will over the top of it (the st Christopher) while under a rug is meant to be read as a clear signpost to the audience that while Eddie and Buck are not talking about that will at the moment - while they are still  this is actually where things are going because its a representation of all the threads beginning to come together and create that string of fate!

The Will of it all
Since it seemed like the Diaz family were filming something with Buck, I keep thinking about the will. I keep thinking about it and how crazy it actually is.
I keep thinking that since season 4 it never was once explicitly mentioned despite how humonguous and genuinely crucial it is when it comes to Buddie storytelling, to Christopher and just in general. The will is a lifetime engagment, it's a lifetime commitment for Buck, and it is something that changed the trajectory of his life forever.
Now, if it is brought up by the end of season 7, regardless of the context, I believe it will enligthen and emphasise that. How big and meaningful it is. For Buck but also for Eddie and hopefully for Christopher too. I think we need it, for the story to move forward but also because it never was really explored like it deserved. Buck and Eddie never had a conversation about it, about what it really encompass. We don't know if Chris is aware either (probably not) and I feel like he might be old enough to know now. I feel like he deserves to be in this specific conversation.
I am also curious of what the rest of the 118 might think about it, of Maddie and the Buckley, the timing and why it never came up in all those years...like there is so much to explore.
Besides, I just know, with the Diaz probably learning about it, it's gonna shift everything but in a very harsh way. Nothing will be the same anymore because the will implies too much, it means too much for Helena to be completely ignored or simply accepted.
It has been years, years of no real conversations, of no real aknowledgment of what it means and I just know Helena and Ramon will somehow force them to name it. The will of it all. I think Ramon will be curious and try to understand why but mostly be supporting. I think Helena will mainly blame, maybe judge a little and be SO confused. She is going to be mad, because it's been years, because Eddie prefers someone else for his son and yeah, Eddie will have to acknowledge what it is, what it embodies, explain and I think this would be a great opening for his own story in season 8.

Wait a second we haven’t seen the st Christopher necklace at all in s5 have we?
Hey Nonnie
No we haven't seen the st. Christopher necklace - I very much doubt we'll see it again unless it plays into the will storyline in some way - It is a representation of Christopher and we've only seen the necklace if Chris is the important theme but isn't present - hence why we saw it in the well and also in the will reveal - it was actually a way of connecting the two episodes together and tying 3x15's storyline to the will reveal in 4x14 - the moments when Eddie decided he needed to change his will to make Buck Christophers legal guardian and the moment whenEddie revealed it to Buck.
I personally think if we see that necklace again, it will be when there is another conversation or scene related to the will or Christophers guardianship in some way!

my mum forbade me to say anything to my dad about the top surgery thing, and it's just hit me how funny it would be if i got it done and didn't tell him and just waited for him to notice. i mean, what's he gonna say? "didn't you used to have tits?"

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.
