Danny had no idea what a meta was, but appearently he had something called a meta-gene. One would think a mutation that can cause people to manifest superpowers from lab accidents would explain his disastrous career as a superhero, but they would be wrong. Dannys meta gene was never activated and the whole ghost fiasco was just eldrich shenanigans at its finest.
No, Danny's meta gene activated just two weeks ago on his fifteenth birthday where he was celebrating at Sam's place with Tucker. They had gotten into one of thier usual fights about food and Danny just did not want to deal with it and went into another room.
Sams cat didn't love him per say but it usually didn't hate him either. Today was not his lucky day. The kitty scratched him and wouldn't you know? His meta gene wasn't activated by an interdimentional portal opening up on top of him, it wasn't activated by the numerous energy blasts he had been hit with nor the various electric shocks.
No, it was activated by a freaking cat scratch.
He stared at himself in the mirror, glowing green eyes with slit pupils stared back at him. His kitty ears were folded back to show his shock and displeasure over the situation but it was still rather obvious what they were. The tail wagging slowly behind him was the same snowy white as his hair and ears.
He looked like Phantom. He looked like Phanton as Fenton. Ancients. There was no way he was going to be able to hide this. Transforming brought about no change other than the hazmat suit. He was so screwed. He couldn't go home like this.
Breathing heavily and on the verge of a panic attack he called Jazz once, twice, three times, but she didn't pick up. Danny knew he couldn't stay in the human world, it was too dangerous.
But if he wasn't there to protect the ghosts than it would be too dangerous for them to stay too. He knew for a fact Dani was staying with Dora while she taught her how to read and write so he had pretty much no qualms about destroying the portals and outing Vlad through a pre-made video of him transforming and boasting about his crimes to Phantom, courtesy of Tucker and him filming it all.
He felt bad about ditching his friends one last time, and at his own birthday party no less! But he knew if he tried to say goodbye they would guilt him into staying and it would end horribly so he left a note explaining what happened and bounced.
Destroying the portals hadn't taken much time or effort nor did destroying over 20 years of research between the three. It was exploring the Ghost Zone that was giving him problems. He was always warned by Wulf not to open portals in the Ghost Zone unless you were very experienced cause if you screw up theres no telling when or where you will land. He thought back to Wulfs lessons and tried to conjure the image of lush wildlife and abundant food.
The place he ended up portaling to had neither of those things. In fact if felt like the opposite when he landed in a grimey alleyway in the dark of night.
A spotlight was pointed toward the sky, painting the clouds above in a yellow light holding a stylized image of a bat in the center. Danny wondered what that was about for only a minute before he heard the tell tale whoosh sound of someone landing in the alley behind him.
Dannys new instincts reacted before the logical part of his brain took hold causing him to whirl around with his ears flattened to his head and he hissed so furiously that the man with the red helmet (mask?) back up several paces while cursing furiously. The man also mentioned something about a "Pit" but Danny wasn't paying attention, he was scared out of his mind and bolted down the alleyways and out of sight before phasing into a dilapidated building and hiding under some rubble.
Later, Red Hood told Nightwing about the Lazarus Pit catboy demon and described it as nightmarish as possible before adding that it was kinda twinkish. He also added "for the love of God dickwing, don't let demon brat adopt that thing"
In Damians defence, he found Danny asleep next to Alfred the cat in Batcows barn and just decided he was thier new cat. In other news hes far more concerned with hiding Danny From Catwoman than from father.

Submitted Prompts #98
Danny and Raven are both hybrid supernatural creatures. Which means, they end up meeting during a couple of pagan celebrations.
They get to talking, and realize they get along really well. So, since on Raven's side of things, she still hasn't met the Titans yet, Team Phantom just essentially adopt her. Sam adores her new goth friend. They help her feel normal, and she gives them precious advice on magic and how, sometimes, defeating an enemy comes at the cost of their life, because they might not give you much of a choice...
Soon, Raven meets the Titans, while Danny goes along his usual business of keeping Amity Park safe. They keep meeting up for celebrations, birthdays and random meetings for no reason other than a slightly feral sense of "I missed your presence at my side" they all have with each other.
The Titans are very curious on why she keeps disappearing every year at the exact same time, but all they know is the bare bones "magical meeting of magical entities that practice magic".
Until one day, when Raven almost tore Titans Tower apart while desperately trying ANYTHING to contact a friend who seemed to be "gone, and nothing can reach him. What did that idiot do?!?!?!" They are...justifiably concerned...and Robin smuggles the Batplane out of it's hangar so they can help their friend, who's always so composed, actually get to Amity with some backup in case things are going wrong.
Nothing would have prepared them for the SMOKING GODDAMN CRATER in the ground where a town should be. Raven can't reach past the Veil. The way seems to be blocked (since Amity, in the Ghost Zone, has the Ghost Shield up and running) and her powers are going a little wonky and unstable, random rocks lifting and orbiting her and the town limits as the Titans investigate as much as they can.
Until, with roaring thunder, Amity is thrown back into it's proper spot. But something's wrong. Phantom is easy to feel. He's always been a shimmering beacon in Raven's senses, but right now he feels...subdued, and yet swelling with new power...
It's not until Twam Phantom goes to meet her, that raven realizes what's wrong. She knows that Crown, and the Ring her friend is cradling in his hands. Ectoplasm is staining his hands, his suit, and, most noticeable, his teeth.
He looks like he'd rather be anywhere than here, and Sam goes in for a hug, and tells Raven they're calling a "Code Panda" (because pandas have a startlingly high chance of abandoning their Cubs before adulthood, and are generally idiots).
Robin volunteers to destroy the portal when they're ready to go, while the rest of the Titans start closing ranks around the seemingly traumatized teenage hero in case he needs help. The most he reacts is to let Raven float to him and hug him as he whispers a soft "Hey Ray...I had to follow your advice..."
(I imagine that Raven's own experiences would help Danny come to understand that, even if his Rogues can be reasoned with, there will eventually come a time where a new one might not. So they have to be prepared for that eventuality. So Danny treats Pariah's Core like one of those chewing gums with the liquid in the center of it, when he realizes the Old Tyrant King isn't going to go quietly, nor will he listen to reason. And hearing his parents talk about how Phanton would have to be exterminated soon before he "got too powerful" leads Danny and his friends to get out of Amity ASAP. Luckily, they have a friend who's very happy to have them around. Is this an "Everlasting Trio+the DC character they fell for" thing? Not necessarily, but my brain pictures them as starting to date while Raven got busy with the Titans, and when they're all together, they platonically drag Raven to their cuddle pile, where they romantically confess their shared feelings for her. But it's really up to interpretation of whoever reads it.)

Hi! For the made up fic title game: “The Bitter End”
Ooh, I know what I would do with this one.
TW for character death.
-
It's been a couple of years and Danny is the Ghost King, his family knows about him being Phanton and they accept him.
Vlad has finally turned a new leaf! He still wants to be part of his life, but, like this, Danny wants him to be there, the only other halfa besides his clon...
... except, it was all a lie from Vlad. He didn't let go of any of his goals, and has been plotting all these years, and he strikes a coup in an attempt to take the Crown.
The Ghost Zone enters a civil war as the halfas fight for the throne and then-
-Danny makes his hasdest choice as King, and excecutes Vlad, vanishing his soul for good. No afterlife, no cycle of rebirth. That's it.
The war ends, the good guys win, order is restored.
Danny is ả̷̤̮͓̗͚̝̗͔̦̍̿̇̿͗̀̍̿ͅ l̷̥͔̗̗͇̱͚͖̩̞̘͑̎̈́̎̉̈̍̊̈̒̏̎̋̃ ǒ̸̦͈͔͍̱̜̱͖͓͎̠̬̲͊͐͒͆̿͊̎̊̉̏͛̒̍͛̚ n̸̗͚̫̭̯̱̙̯̆̏͑̽̆́͋̓̌̐͒̓ͅ e̸̤͖͚̲͍̯̭͍̱̦̦͑̆̋̐̓͂̔̏̚ͅ.
-
It's word play (not quite pun) with the fact that Vlad's debut was in Bitter Reunions, and this would be The End of him!
Poor pathetic meow meow. Died the way he lived: bested by a dorky boy

May 1973: My first combat mission with the F-4 over Cambodia
Diego Alves By Diego Alves 05/21/23 - 09:00 in History, War Zones
This year is a significant anniversary for me: it was 50 years ago that I flew on my first combat mission. In May 1973, I flew through Thailand and entered Cambodian airspace. At the time, there was a lot of pressure from the Khmer Rouge communists in Cambodia to take control of the country; it was our job to avoid this.
The plan was to allow South Vietnam to achieve stability after the early 1973 ceasefire with the North.
I knew I would be flying on bombing missions over Cambodia immediately. My leader told me that I could expect to fly on missions of three to four hours every day. There was an effort to get a combat flight before the end of the month, so that I could receive my "payment for dangerous service" plus $65 per month to fly in combat. Not much, even for those days. On May 28, I made my orientation flight to the combat zone, my call code was "South 40", as we flew over Thailand and briefly entered Cambodian airspace.
Tumblr media
In his first month in Cambodia, John E. Norvell flew 18 combat missions.
After the orientation, each combat flight would start like this. First, he checked the flight schedule published the night before the mission to be sure of the time of the "show". Then, the next day, I would take the "bluebird" bus to the squad. So, I found my interception officer and informed our ward about what we would do. Then we went to Intel (the intelligence section) for a quick summary of the threat. At this point, about two hours passed. So we went to the equipment room to wear our costumes.
Dressing up, I made sure I had my Geneva Convention card, which we would carry if we were slaughtered and taken prisoner. So I took my survival equipment and camouflaged helmet; I checked my survival radios. I removed my wedding ring and badge from my flight suit and locked them in my closet. I did this so as not to have information about myself if I was shot down, to help the enemy.
Then I checked and carried a 38 caliber revolver, which I carried in a holster attached to my leg, gunman style. Then we all boarded what we call the "bread truck", along with other crews, to go to the aircraft parked in the buttress. Once in our "designated bird", we did the standard walk before the flight. This pre-flight was exactly as we did in Luke AFB, except that I had to check real bombs and missiles.
Tumblr media
F-4 Phanton Cockpit: The "cargo dumb"
Our standard charge was the 500-pound dumb bomb Mark 82, as shown in my 8 mm film clip on the left. We could charge up to 18 Mark 82s. We also had two Aim-9 Sidewinder infrared-guided missiles and two Aim-7 Sparrow radar-guided missiles.
While checking them, I looked for leaks under the Phantom. I had to be careful, because it was easy to hit my head and take a "ghost'sbite". Also hung below were the RHAW and jammer pods. The RHAW (Radar Homing and Warning) warned us if the enemy had stopped on our aircraft with SAMS (Surface to Air Missiles). Although possible, it was not a significant threat to our missions.
Once in the cockpit, I put on my G-suit and connected a recorder to our intercom that recorded our mission. Later, we would give the tape to the intelligence staff if there were any questions. Then it was the standard triggering of the radar, aligning the INS and checking the RHAW. While I was sitting there, the team leader helped me with the parachute connections and pulled the pins of my ejection seat; now, it was hot and ready to shoot. I activated the frequency for the soil control. We received authorization and taxied. Then we go down to the weaponry area adjacent to the active runway. There, the ammunition team pulled the safety pins from the bombs. Then takeoff.
The rains flooded the area around Udorn most of the year and, as we went up, I could see the storms in the distance. We are now on our way to our meeting with the refueling plane and the mission of the day.
Tumblr media
I wrote for home:
We bombed Cambodia - it's a funny feeling to use real bombs. The mission lasted 3 and a half hours and we had to refuel three times, a big difference from Luke. I'm getting a combat payment now. It's raining a lot; we're at the monsoons station. I had to have three special flight overalls made, two for work - green and light - and one black coverall for the party. I caught a cold at Jungle survival... there are 348 days left.
In my first month, I flew 18 combat missions.
Over time, I became introspective.
On the crew bus early in the morning, I often thought about how many men had boarded the crew bus to never come back that night. I never told anyone that I thought I could die. The mission was more important, and that was all that mattered. Maybe I wasn't alone in my feelings; all the troops that went into combat, no matter when or where, thought they could die. It was a thought that didn't last long.
I am forever connected to the veterans who served. When I flew in combat, fifty years ago, I became part of this combat fraternity. This changed my life forever.

Tick Tock
TikTok, Meta/I.G.,  Google & YouTube all have the same issue of artificial views being counted towards ad-spends when they are fully-aware that these phanton views did NOT get one single second of anyone’s attention towards any product’s conversion goals.
For this singular reason,  Pricing for ads across digital platforms will scale downward in the next quarters into 2024 Q1 and possibly beyond.
YouTube has a bad habit of allowing content to run when it knows no one is watching it.
Instragam’s Discovery area is a hot-zone for these phantom & artificial views. You can see the content moving, but you can’t hear it or know what it is about.
However,  When a compelling ad does work  These companies can give you all sorts of metrics  And they charge a premium for not knowing exactly what they are giving you, At other times.
For that reason the 20% decline in rates you will see is merited across the board for almost all digital advertisers.
Time is ticking.  Correction in 5,4,3,2...

I see a bunch of confusion over the fight Kara was describingto Zor-El. Here’s my take. It was a combination of bad editing, sloppy writing & a flubbed line. In the opening sequence when Kara’s eyes go white she is looking around and seeing all of her friends/loved ones dead. Normally, we would get an edit here of what she was seeing, but they just skipped over that. She says, “No, no, no, not again!” She is actually looking around as she speaks as if she is seeing bodies because the Phantoms are torturing her & making her see things over & over again. We aren’t being shown what she’s seeing & usually we would.
Zor-El mentions that Kara must be a mirage because the Phantoms have been torturing him to also see things that aren’t there.
Kara says, “This place is nothing like I remember. It’s worse.” That’s because she was safe in her pod the first time. Zor-El comes back with
“Indeed. From the safety of your pod, you never faced the Phantoms.”
Kara reacts by recoiling a bit thinking of the Phantoms. This made some think maybe they did get to her pod, but I do not think that is what the story intended. I think what they are actually trying to convey is that it IS worse because the Phantoms got to her THIS time. Zor-El’s dialogue in response to her reaction is,
“They got to you, didn’t they?” Now, that might make some think the Phantoms got to her in the pod, but clearly that is NOT what is being said because she responds with events that happened far after her pod time. He asks her, “What did you see.”
He is talking about what she saw before he reached her. We have no idea how long she was out there. Remember, it was supposed to be the finale when we left her trapped. A significant amount of time would’ve seemed to have passed if it had been the finale.
Her response goes along with what we saw her doing at the beginning of this episode.
“I was in a cavern, a fortress of one of my enemies. She was dead, but so was everyone I ever loved.”
It’s easy to see why many people thought she was talking about Reign, and she might be, because it is a memory, but a memory that the Phantoms took and expanded and made worse, not the actual memory as it happened in reality which is why she said, “Not again.”
She continues with, “Cut down, while they were trying to save the world, and I just stood there among their bodies...horrified.”
Now it sounds like Crisis. Most likely because the Phantoms combined the Reign memory and the Crisis memories into one terrible nightmare. If they had given use a visual in an edit, we’d have a better grasp, but no.
She continues with, “I couldn’t save them. I couldn’t wake up.” So we are supposed to understand it wasn’t real. She did save them in both instances. She then says, “I wanted to die there with them.” This is what makes me think she saw this more than once before Zor-El reached her. It was replaying. Each time she tried to save them & each time she failed. Part of her knew it wasn’t real, but another part kept buying into it because it was made up of things that have been real for her. Then she says, “But I couldn’t do that either.” Which is incredibly dark because it means she reached a point where she tried, but the Phantoms didn’t let her & instead started the mirage over.
All of this should have been shown. The torture, the hopelessness, the fear, the trauma, but in true CW fashion, we skipped the show for a tell.
Zor-El responds to her with, “A terrible vision.” She comes back with, “Not a vision. A memory. One that I thought had finally stopped haunting me.”
What I think they were trying to convey is that her memories of losing people, Alex in the plane, tank, VR, Lena multiple times, Mon-El in the pod, CRISIS, etc., etc. Those memories of (almost) losing people are still with her. She has mentioned on multiple occasions that losing the people she loves because of who she is, is her greatest fear. She’s dwelled on it. The Phantoms made it all real. And she thought she had moved past those traumatic events when in reality, they haunt her. Every moment. She just pushes them back & ignores them.
She then says, “But it was crystal clear. It felt like it would never end.” So this lets us know it WAS a mirage. It was the Phantoms. Not an event that has actually transpired.
She then mentions Fort Rozz. I saw some posts about this as well. Again, the writing here is a bit confusing, but I think we had a misread line as well. Kara says, “Mother once told me that Fort Rozz is rooted in space above the rocks by an anchor.” Now, I have hearing issues, so I use Closed Captions. The caption read “WAS rooted in space” which makes more sense with what she says after as well as the fact that we all know Fort Rozz broke free and crashed on Earth. Basically, Fort Rozz broke free FROM its anchor. The anchor is still there. Kara goes on to explain, “The guards come and go through a portal at the base. If we can find the anchor—“ Then Zor-El cuts her off. The anchor that was left behind after Fort Rozz broke free is still there as is the processing base and the portal the Kryptonian guards used to bring prisoners back and forth, to & from Fort Rozz.
I don’t know how they manage to convolute that scene so much, but they did and wow, these are professionals? Anyhoo, I hope I cleared that up for anyone that was confused.

The Phantom Zone existed outside the normal space-time continuum. It was discovered by Jor-El of Krypton. The Krypton Rulers used the Phantom Zone to imprison criminals. The inmates exist in a ghost-like state and cannot interact with the outside universe. A special devise is needed to exit the zone but inmates have escape due to the conclusive force of an atomic bomb.

Old Wounds
Danny’s secret is not a secret anymore.
The lines between Fenton and Phantom have long since blurred. And it’s a common occurrence for news reporters to trip over their tongue when flagging him down, mid-transformation, for a post-fight interview. “Phanton.” “Fentom.” So often that, to most now, he is just Danny.
When Danny wants upgrades to his gear, he comes to his mother. When Danny learns a quirky new element of Ghost Zone lore, he brings it to his father. When the Amity Park Ghost Alarm is raised, he’s first on the scene with the Fenton RV right on his non-corporeal heels.
When he’s injured, Danny comes only to his friends and sister.
Jazz notices the pattern. How it is only her, or only Sam, or only Tucker who receives the late-night knock at the window glass, with her brother on the other side, corny sheepish smile on display and arm or leg or shoulder held up in explanation.
Jazz notices how hushed Danny remains, day or night, when he comes to her for first aid. How he speaks in that same hesitant muted tone as he did when all of this was still a secret. How he quiets himself in the way injured prey animals do.
Jazz doesn’t feel it’s her place to ask. Not yet, at least. Eventually. But not yet.
The window is open. Honeysuckle-sweet gusts of late-spring air swirl through Jazz’s room and tease away the sheen of sweat that has collected on her brow. She cannot wipe it away herself, not with both hands meticulously occupied in tweezering out the singed fabric from her brother’s arm.
Danny winces, and hisses, and Jazz frees another thread from its embedded hold in Danny’s burn wound.
“It’s kind of like… summer vacation when we were kids and we’d get splinters visiting Aunt Alicia’s lake house,” Jazz remarks with another careful tug. “…If we can call it a lake house.”
“Lake shed,” Danny replies, grinning through the sweat shining on his pale face. “And I think every part of that dock was an OSHA violation.” He laughs through another wince.
“Dad was the king of tweezers. I think he got out every splinter that dock ever gave me.” Jazz pauses. “I wonder why that was. Think it’s the needlepoint?”
“It’s definitely the needlepoint,” Danny agrees.
Jazz hesitates on the question lingering behind her tongue. Just a little too long. Just a little too obviously.
“What?” Danny asks.
Jazz’s hand falters. She puts the tweezers down. “Danny, I will always always be happy to help you like this. Same goes for Sam, same goes for Tucker, I know. I’m positive. But I wonder why… not Mom or Dad?” Jazz eyes the tweezers, glinting in the moonlight. “I’m just… I’m thinking how much cleaner this might be if you got Dad to do it. And Mom’s got like, wilderness survival level first aid expertise. I can’t help thinking I’m hurting you more by it being… me, you know?”
Danny looks at her, and looks past her a moment. His grin slips a fraction into discomfort as his eyes leave hers. “Maybe I just like the excuse to invade your room.”
“Danny…” Jazz waits until he looks at her again. “Are you afraid they’ll make you stop if they realize you’re getting injured?”
Danny lets out a puff of air from behind his lips. “No, never. I mean, maybe if I got really really injured they’d say something. But just getting a little roughed up? I think it’s about on par with a kid coming home from football practice with a few scrapes, at least, in their eyes. They get more banged up than me these days. I’m not worried.”
Jazz reaches for the bottle of disinfectant. She unscrews the cap to a biting alcohol smell. “…So will you tell me why?”
“Why what?”
“Why you won’t ever go to them with injuries? Ever?”
Cotton swab, pure silver under the moonlight. Jazz douses it gently, a muted glug-glug from the bottle.
“…I’m that obvious about it, huh?”
“You’re obvious about most things. This’ll be cold.” Jazz applies the swab to the open wound, and Danny hisses in turn.
“Yeah. Cold. And stingy. Cold and stingy.” After a few seconds, the tension eases out of Danny’s body. He droops a little, shoulders slumped, and Jazz pulls the cotton swab away.
“Are you ashamed of your injuries?”
“No.”
“Are you worried Mom and Dad’ll make them worse?”
“Nah. You said it yourself, those two are weird, unconventional medical experts.”
“Then why not?”
A beat of silence follows. A moment of trepidation. Awash in moonlight, Danny looks up at her, and the glow in his green eyes has a life of its own. “I don’t want them to see the injuries that have already healed.”
“Why would that be a problem?” Jazz looks again. Danny’s suit covers most everything, save now for the one sleeve that’s been rolled back. She sees what she already knew was there – what isn’t obvious to the eye not searching – threads of white ridges, puckers of skin, a faded rashy texture of what had once been an ectoblast burn. Old injuries. Long healed. Faded and fading further. “Those are all healed now. Just some scars, right…?”
Danny hesitates.
“I don’t want them to figure out how many of those scars they caused.”
A gust of wind steals the antiseptic smell from the room. Jazz sits with the silence. She thinks, and she processes.
“Oh…”
Danny straightens. “They kind of… live in this world where hunting ghosts is all fun and games, you know? Like it’s a sport, like they can just get into go-mode and jump into the fun. I don’t think they’ve figured out yet that they can—could—did …cause damage.”
Danny adjusts himself on Jazz’s bed, one leg pulled up, body angled to face her directly. He doesn’t let his eye contact wander now. “They both apologized. Definitely. Like that definitely happened, back at the start of this. But it was kind of like ‘We must’ve given you so much trouble Danny! How’d you come home every day and not bite our heads off over that?’ Like. Again. Like it’s a game. Like they’d been knocking my chess pieces over for a year and not—”
Danny falters. He raises his uninjured arm and tucks the hair away from his face. “And I don’t… want it to click for them. What I have right now with Mom and Dad is so nice… It’s so much better than I even imagined. I want it to stay like this. Forever, if possible.”
“Danny…”
“And even that actually—maybe I’m actually wrong about that. Completely wrong. About their reaction, I mean. It’s possible maybe they’d see everything and just go,” Danny deepens his voice, “‘Wow! We did a number on you, huh? Man Danny I don’t know how you didn’t just smack us over the breakfast table every morning.’ you know? Like that. Like this was all just always a game. And they—and I-- …I like how relaxed ghost hunting is with them. I actually like that it feels like a game. I don’t ever want to go back to feeling how scared and afraid and unsafe and hurt I was that first year. ...But I’m afraid of how it would feel to know that maybe they’d see that, look at it all, everything they did and the scars like the actual proof and it—if it wouldn't ever be real to them. If they'd never get that it was like that. If they still wouldn’t realize—you know? That they—if they—I don’t uh…” Danny drops his eyes, and he shrinks in on himself. “I don’t know how to explain it…”
“No I—Danny I know what you’re saying. Don’t worry. Danny, I—”
“Either answer. Any answer. I don’t want to know… I don’t actually want to know.” Danny angles himself away again, feet dropped over the side of Jazz’s bed, staring down at the hands in his lap. “If it would horrify them, then I’d be ruining all the good things I have with them right now. And if it wouldn’t horrify them—” Danny falls quiet. The breeze has stilled. The room is colder now. “…then I think I just don’t ever want to know.”
Jazz nods, and nods harder.
“I get it. I get it. That’s a good enough answer for me, Danny, I promise. I’m your first aid person, okay? I won’t ask again. Thanks for… thanks for telling me, Danny.”
"Can always trust you to bring up the difficult conversations huh? Of course that's always been your thing. Talking to you is--well I'd say it's like pulling teeth, but maybe it's more like pulling ecto-demolished hazmat suit fabric out of a burn wound."
Danny offers a sheepish grin - it's an olive branch, a request to lighten the mood. Jazz meets it with her own small grin that does not touch her eyes.
"Yeah yeah, I'm your older sister. It's my job to be a pain. Now sit still, I need to be more of a pain if we're gonna de-hazmat suit your injury."
She picks the tweezers back up. The silence rings with an echo in her head now. Jazz focuses her attention back on her task, and she finds something she was wrong about before:
There is nothing faded about the scars that web up and down her little brother’s arm. They are stark streaks of lightning, glowing silver under the moonlight. And Jazz wonders how many others—how many that flaked away and melded back with healthy skin—how many of those might still be living, lingering, a permanent part of her little brother, buried well beneath the surface…

I have been thinking for years about it and I’m going to share it. I think we talked about it in a way, mentiuoning it in other comments and posts, but I after s6 it’s became clearer.
Hope and compassion for all - is the main theme of Supergirl, repeated in all seasons, probably like 20 times if not more. Kara is the Paragon of Hope (btw, it always makes me laugh, because ‘paragon’ in Polish means ‘receipt’, so it’s like pray to Kara so your paragon won’t be high, but whatever) and made gazillion erm, inspiring speeches about it and yet, it’s teh shittiest and most hypocritical part of the show.
Because the hope, help and compassion for ALL are for the superfriends or their friends. And well, for the good guys. And Usamericans. The rest can basically, go to hell.
There is not ALL in it. And never was.
Because that all should goes for example, for Lex, Lockwood, Nyxly, Edge, Rhea, Mr Alienphobe President and any other asshole of the series. For example the security guy who was doing his job for not allowing Kara entering the event she was not invented and ended with broken arm and what was cheered becasue girl power.
I get why Lex, as a notorious murderer and threat that can’t change for better, simply deserve to rot in Phanton Zone and that’s simply obvious.
But then we have Lockwood and Lobotomizer.
Lockwood started as a normal guy, the thing that pushed him into becoming the Agent Liberty were circumstances such as losing factory, losing father, losing his house and watching his family being in danger and meeting wrong people. Remember how got hurt by the panicking alien and Deo came and Alex treated him like an alienphobe, assuming he was among the humans who attacked the alien?
The point is, I see a logic in his path of becoming a villain and he deserved what he got in the end aka rotting in hell, that’s justice. His actions were wrong. I can understand why he became like that, still murderer.
But. Not a single character, not Kara, not Alex, not Lena (who ignored his father’s financial probelms and simply treated them as liability, but sure she went for a funeral and was hurt because he told her to fuck off) - no one showed him compassion, tried to understand, tried to help and show him there is hope. No one. I guess because he was a white dude and that’s the perfect storyline for white dudes in Supergirl’s narration?
Just compare his story to Manchester Black. I don’t remember the shit, but I’m pretty sure J’onn tried to understand him and Kara was not so against him.
Because, I guess, he was INVITED FOR CHRISTMAS SO THEY WERE FRIENDS UWU.
And there, we have Lobotomizer. Who violated every human right you can imagine, broke law more times I can count and hurt Kara *copy/paste here every argument against her* and yet, every time she got compassion, help, undersatnding and hope. Multiple times. Before she tortured Kara and after. Her EVERY shitty idea and horrible deed she did was excused and showed in a good light and in the end she didn’t pay consequecnes for her actions. Because you know, hope, help and compassion for all.
All means Superfriends’ friends. Who are also white privileged wealthy bitch, I guess?
And I absolutely get that you have double standards for people you like and are friends with. I get you help your friends and cover their shit, but that’s not for what Supergirl and Co should stand for. Not when they claim it’s for ALL.
And don’t even let me start like seriously Kara is Usamerican and stands for everything what is Usamerican. I get it too. But once again, hope, help and compassion are universal and the show clearly claimed they are not. I get it was Usamerican show,. made for Usamerican audience but for me, agian, being a hero is also universal. And what we got were Usamerican perfect girl and her Usamerican friends (sorry, Usamerican people who read it, but I hope you get my point). It was all too clear in s4 and the horrible crap that was Red Daughter’s storyline.
I just don’t get at all what the showed tried to tell or teach us. They contradicted themsleves in so many things and I don’t see the whole picture.
Hope, help and ocmpassion for people we choose. White privileged bitches who are our friends are ok, even when they do shit. Fuck white males, even if we are the reason their lives went to hell. Sisterhood is amazing even when toxic shit happened and it all is ignored. Girlpower means breaking security dudes arms when  they do their jobs. You can magically heal alcoholism by not talking about it. Breaking law is ok as long as you wanted to do good and feel bad about it. Blinded by feelings is an excuse for tortures and brainwashing. No one needs therapy. True friendship is torturing your friends and hurting them. You can’t keep secrets from your friends.  Scientists don’t need to being keep in check and can do whatever they want. Being an idiot is ok.Doing things you don’t like is ok as long as you are successful. Protecting your beloved people and family while keeping secrets is wrong, just tell the shit to whole world. Taking off your glasses can fix all your problems.
Whatever.

Ghosts that were friendly to Danny Part 1
The Diary king
Tumblr media
First introduced in the episode "Bitter Reunions" The Diary King was one of the first ghosts to actually help Danny instead of hurting him.
When he first appeared, Danny thought The Dairy King was going to attack him like the rest of the ghosts he had fought until now. It turns out that he "just wantrd to rest" and freed the young halfa from his anti-ghost prision.
It's unclear what motivated him to help Danny but is likely he didn't want Vlad to disturb him with his party or he heard everything that Vlad was going to do to Jack and decided to lend Danny a hand with escaping.
He later explained to Danny that "not all ghosts are evil and some just want to be left in peace".
The Dairy King barely made appearences in later episodes. The reason for this was never explained, though, it is possible he left Vlad's castle after it exploded in the episode "A million Dollar Ghost".
Cujo:The ghost dog
Tumblr media
Cujo made his debut in the episode "Shades of Gray". When he first met Danny, he showed to be really friendly with him, he let Danny carry him and he licked him in a playful manner.
Tumblr media
Unlike other ghosts he didn't tried hurting him on purpose. He was protective of Danny and let him trained him for a while.
The difference was that he was searching for a toy that was inside the Axiom Labs, in a room where all the guards dogs were kept in cages.
It's heavily implied in the episode that Cujo was one of the guards dogs that was euthanized since he knew where his toy was as well as having the ability to transform in a very powerful ghost dog when he is threatened.
Tumblr media
He accidentally made Valerie's dad lose his job at the Axiom Labs and ruined Valerie's life while he was playing with Danny and asking to help him.
In his giant ghost form, he is a very dangerous and formidable foe. He is capable of attacking anyone who he considers his enemy and won't stop until he is calmed down by someone he trusts.
Cujo made some cameos in later episodes but he didn't had a major role again.
Wulf
Tumblr media
Wulf's debut was in the episode "Public enemies". He was sent by Walker to capture Danny Phanton in exchange for his freedom.
In the episode he tries to fight Danny a few times, that's until Danny realizes that Wulf is being forced to this job by Skulker's goons. He defends Wulf and helps him with hiding from his enemies temporarily.
Tumblr media
Despite his scary appearance, Wulf is a very friendly ghost and would do everything he can to protect his friends. He showed to be very loyal as he sacrificed his own freedom to assist Danny in battle and sent Walker back to the ghost zone.
Aside from being an ally, there are a few things that make him quite unique:
First: His powers allow him to travel between dimensions. It seems to be an ability that exclusive of him as there aren't many ghosts that are capable of doing this in the show. This was one of the reasons he was so useful for Walker, as he could ask Wulf to open portal and go wherever he pleases.
Second: He's one of few ghosts that talks in another completely different language, that being Esperanto. Tucker, having studied that language himself, helped translating what Wulf said to learn more about Walker's plans.
Wulf second mayor appearance was in "Claw of the wild", in which he escapes from Walker. He helps Danny and Sam with stopping Walker and rescuing the students and teachers of Casper High School.
In comparison to Cujo and the Dairy Kind, Wulf has more screen time and his character is a bit more complex. He isn't guided by his instincts like Cujo. However, he shares a few animalistic traits like growling, licking and sleeping like a dog would.
---
Okay. This the end of Part 1. I may post the Part 2 during the weekend because i don't think all the characters are not fit in one post.

Here we are with this episode and i CANT.
They are really giving Lena witch powers now that the show is ending?? I HATE THIS but at the same time I LOVE THIS. It will be so fun and i am pretty sure she will be the solution to the Nycjfjdknfowefns problem lol. She will save Kara for sure.
I am happy Nia was able to talk with Kara about what she did cause the guilt was really sending her in a bad place. She was risking her life cause she thought it was the only thing to do. SO i am happy she is more at peace cause Kara was right.... they all made mistakes and they worked together to fix things.
I am so proud of Myx. Like... he started as a really selfish being but now is doing something different. And i loved the singing thing at the beginning. It was so funny lol. And Nyxlkncoieròaon story was kinda sad and i understand why she is angry. She is not only angry... she was secluded in the Phanton Zone for lile 300 years where everything she could do was growing her anger toward people who betraied her.
Anyways... I LOVED THE CAT lol... like.. the cat being distracted by the heat vision is my new faw scene XD
