m'names hero:) (she/her) and my friends usually call me rosie or ro--and i'm an entp/enfj if you're in the mbti stuff
as appearances go I’m 5’1 and I’m Italian, english, and asian. i’m a bit tan, ‘ve got light brown hair with bangs and considerablyy big, brown eyes. now cough I hope m’not coming off as shallow but I’m really proud of my body? work really rather hard on it and I quite like showing it off from time to time— as should everyone, we’re all hot shit ;) i breathe sundresses, usually wear little bows in my hair, and I wear my grandmother’s pearls 25/8 they make me feel like a pRINCESS
I have the tightest core friend group of 3 including myself— they’re my soulmates, really, we met at a museum and everything. In the literal sense I have no problem with conversation in general it’s my favorite thing I could talk about absolutely anything. if I ever meet a cute boy tho.. dear god it’s over me I’m a blushing mess— moreover my love language(s) are physical touch, words of affirmation, and gift giving (I like things that reflect how proper beautiful I am sue me💅)
I write poems and short stories, and i play guitar and sing, i’ve actually won a few awards for that, and uh I’ve probably read a good couple hundred books in my life time— I like to think I have near perfect vision but my friends say I’m damn near blind— and I’ve only really read the classics.
I’m a huge movie buff too, again I’m a classics fiend *but* my current favourites are Juno and Matilda— unfortunately my parents passed their respective individuality complexes onto me it’s been quite the ride

You’re in charge of catching him up on movies he missed while he was busy being a popsicle.
Even though you weren't from the forties, there was something about you that immediately put him at ease. Almost a sense of familiarity in this strange millenium.
The first time he ever hears you sing, his jaw quite literally drops. He goes full goldfish-mode for a few seconds, and it's as endearing as it is funny.
Dates can be anything from going to a museum, getting dinner at some fancy restaurant, or just sitting quietly on the couch together while you both read.
Steve can use the occasional words of affirmation. On a day-to-day basis, he's a pretty confident guy, but during missions he can have a tendency to second-guess himself. It helps having you around because even when he feels like he can't trust his own judgement, he knows he can trust yours.
Newt
Let's say you two met because you were both working in the "gardens". The Glade is only so big, however, so you probably saw each other around before that. But you really started talking in the gardens.
Newt is an easy-going guy, but he does know pretty much everything that's going on in the Glade. He knows how you're always up for conversation, so he tries to take that opportunity.
And then finds it incredibly endearing when you turn into a stuttering mess.
There really isn't much to do for fun around the Glade, but singing happens to be one of them. Well, if Wicked is kind enough to let you remember any songs. In case they do, Newt has definitely asked you to sing for him -and then tried to learn the song himself. He's a horrible singer though.
You can't really go on dates because again: the Glade is pretty small. But Newt will wake you up in the middle of the night to sneak off into the woods, only to reveal he's planned the most romantic moonlit picnic.

Hi!! Can I please have a maze runner and the lord of the rings romantic matchup?? (and forgive me if I make a mistake in the writing, I'm not fluent in english yet♡)
I'm pansexual and genderfluid, that uses all the pronouns.
I'm a brazilian, my house is Slytherin (but I have LOTS of Ravenclaw qualities), my sign is Leo and MBTI is INTJ. I have tan skin, dimples, brown eyes, straight black hair that goes below my waist and bangs. About my body, I think what stands out the most are the really thick thighs and the hands and feet that are really small. I wear glasses (I have astigmatism and myopia, my grade is VERY high); where i live is SO hot but i really like to wear sweats and pants so sometimes it's kind of hard but i think i wear any kind of clothes? I like to experiment with new styles and I really want to dye my hair but I didn't have the opportunity; I'm absolutely addicted to wearing necklaces, bracelets and especially rings, I'm always wearing several.
I have a quiet, observant, sarcastic and motherly personality, although from a distance it seems that I will be rude to you, I will actually be very calm and give you soft smiles. I can get stressed out easily but I don't show anything but glare, and above all I NEVER raise my voice, even in a fight the only thing I'm going to do is keep my voice calm with a firm, authoritative tone. I LOVE protecting and caring for people and listening to them talk about what they like, I always give them my FULLY attention. My love language is 100% touch, I am always touching the people I like and care about. Another thing is that I'm not a submissive person in a relationship, like no.
I'm completely in love with all kinds of art, especially dancing (I'm ALWAYS dancing while listening to music, which is pretty much all day long) and drawing/painting (sometimes I end up doing a whole drawing and not even realize it). I love reading and I always have a book with me, physical or digital. I love animals, I have cats, dogs, parrots, turtles and cockatiels, and I would give my life for them all without a second thought. Mod's Crush Competition Round 1
Hey guys! Based on the poll I sent out, it looks like some of you wanted to see what kind of fictional crushes I've had and of course I'm more than happy to oblige...
These are all crushes I've had through my lifetime so not all of them are current. Some of them I can explain and others make me question my life choices. They're also all male because I'm only attracted to men. (Maybe next time I'll do a tournament with your guys' crushes)
I tried to limit it to 3 characters per franchise but Yugioh ended up with 5 because there are so many series and I have seen all of them (It's been a very important fandom in my life). I also tried my best to not overrun it with anime. I admit my number of fictional crushes spiked when I started watching anime though. They know how to make them pretty.
Anyways, let's take a look at our bracket:
I am already dreading some of these matchups. For the first round, I am going to split the polls between 2 days. The first half will go up on Tuesday, September 26. The second half will go up on Thursday, September 28. All polls will last a week.

so as you just read, i’ve been thinking about it and decided to reopen my matchups. i had so much fun doing it last time and just yesterday, i reread some of the matchups i did, and genuinely some of those are the best works i’ve published on here so far. laurie encouraged me to do it as well, and like, obviously then i cant pass up on the opportunity.
this time though, i will do things differently. which means please read the rules before you request!!! also, the list of fandoms for which i’ll do matchups has changed as well. you’ll find that one at the end of this post.
I. please name the pronouns/gender you’d like me to use for your request
II. i do not write nsfw
III. if you don’t (want to) put your sexuality in the request, that’s totally okay! it just means that it’s possible i’ll ship you with any character of any gender. so if you have your preferences, tell me!
IV. i may also match you with more than a single person if i cannot decide, but those occasions will be rare unless you ask for it. you can definitely request a matchup for two people (i.g. of different genders) for a single fandom - i value all of your creative input
V. you can absolutely request for more than one fandom in a single ask though or send another one. do keep your fandoms in just one ask at three or less though, but feel free to come back around whenever

I tend to not talk to people unless either I’m comfortable, I’m with someone who I know, the person seems nice, or I get approached first. Opal's a good match for you because she balances you out but can match your energy easily.
Goes blow for blow with your sarcasm. Anyone around at the time is in awe, they can only stand back and watch because they know that if they step into the sarcasm ring, you'll team up to take the newcomer down. They don't stand a chance.
Will always defend you from people who cross your boundaries. She always stand on the side of the victim in any situation and she'll always have the back of the person she cares about most.
Loves hugs! They're her safe space, especially when they're with someone she loves.
Opal is also fairly strong willed so that could lead to some arguments but she's compassionate and willing to listen to reason, so fights never last long.
She loves your goofy side. Her family was always eccentric but fairly serious so after she got her airbending powers and moved away, she's found herself surrounded by people who are even more eccentric and a whole lot funnier.
If you're a bender, she's love to train with you. It also eases her fears about you getting injured in battle. She knows you can defend yourself.

Everyone's favourite Team Avatar mom! Katara's had plenty of time dealing with the combined sarcasm of Aang, Toph, and Sokka (plus occasionally Zuko) so she can handle pretty much anything you throw her way.
Not an incredibly sarcastic person herself but has no problem snapping back to anyone who sends sass her way.
Another one who will stand up to anyone who crosses your boundaries. She's got some trauma herself and couldn't imagine what it would be like if someone made fun of her for it.
She would also appreciate it if you stand up to people that cross her boundaries. Katara has no issue defending herself, but having someone backing her up gives her an added confidence boost.
Similiarly to Opal, Katara is very strong willed. Some arguments are inevitable, but she, along with the rest of Team Avatar, will make sure you both end up back on good terms.
Another one who feels reassured if you're a bender. But, with Sokka as her brother, she of all people understands that you don't have to be a bender to be able to defend yourself.
She'd prefer if you train with Sokka though. You're abilities are more compatible and Katara thinks you'll learn more from someone with the same abilities.
