Hehe....I kinda forgot to do the other heartbreakers after D.G....soooo fixin that.

Name: Yuanyang Chu Age: 29 Birth Card: Priestess Species: Human Mask: Dragon (Eastern) Likes: Reading, walking, accounting, painting, having tea with her sister Black, beating up training with her boyfriend Baidu, stylish dresses that you can fight in, old kunk fu movies. Dislikes: Dirt or untidiness, ignorance, uncivilized behavior, arrogance, sloppy technique, water, water serpents, most fruit.

Yuanyang is the older and more confident sister of Black-chu. Proud of her heritage and home, Yuan wears it on her non-existing sleeves which comes out in how she behaves and talks. Unlike her sister she has little issue speaking her mind and destroying someone verbally, either to set them straight or to show how superior she is. Either way she only does so when provoked, otherwise it’d be rude and that is something she tries to avoid. Classy, very high maintenance, gal. If you get on her good side you should count yourself lucky...just don’y slouch.

The leader of the “Heartbreakers”, though really they don’t have one she’s just the most serious, she is the one who keeps an eye on their combined funds and doubles as yet another employee at DGs academy, taking on the role of self-defense and various Eastern fighting styles (specializes in muay thai) teacher, as well as the accountant or “chief of treasury”.

Definitely the most sophisticated of the three girls, Yuans behavior doesn’t always hold up. She is very quick to temper, even faster than DG, and even quicker to pulverize someone who is being an outright dick either to her friends, herself, or the towns folk. This can also apply to times where she is spooked by something she particularly likes, like water creatures with long slimy appendages. That being said, she is always thinking which means she’s always planning and strategizing. She could be 10 steps ahead of you before the first kick even lands. She also has a sweet spot for determined people, which is how she met and fell in love with Baidu. He challenged her one day and...utterly wrecked him. Challenged her to a fight with the reward being a date. This "little spar” went on for several days with each day having him getting closer to beating her. Eventually he succeeded...if by succeed you mean landing a hit that would’ve knocked her out but instead just tore open her dress. However, though she won’t openly tell him this, he managed to impress her. This dirty, small man whose determination rivals her cup size was hellbent on getting to know her. While this would normally send her into an hour long lecture, ended up caving, going out with him, and eventually becoming his girlfriend and remains as such as long as he “continues to get stronger, bathes regularly, and acts like he has some semblance of house training” (that’s her just her way of saying “keep getting stronger and giving me a good fight, and I’ll keep loving you.”). If anyone questions her love of him though or mocks him, she’ll most likely kick them into the next county.

As for Mask power, she doesn’t necessarily have a special one. Yuanyang can control a dragon but it is currently unknown if it is a deity or simply just the manifestation of the classical Eastern dragon due to it’s long body and ability to breathe fire.

TEASER : Chapter 8 - Ocean Eyes

-------====CLINT - (out of the frying pan..)

“ That encroaching fire, -is- going to be a problem… “ was annoyed, at the very best. He could see the force behind his motions bringing up a few screens to the side and then; just stopping. He was focused on a corner of the main view. “ Dark screen up. Iggy, enhance LLQ 1. Are those -civilians?- “

The side screen shifted, and sure enough well behind the line of ground troops holed up behind what had once been a fence lined with flower pots in the woods and running, trying to keep ahead of the fire and what was falling in behind them; was a whole pack of people. All sorts; number unconfirmed but the visible was somewhere between a hundred and one-twenty. Loki zoomed and scrolled back, to the tail end where the fire was pulling down trees; just in time to watch an explosion from what was probably distance napalm delivery take a good dozen of the living out of the laggers behind. “ Shit. “ from Quill as he sat up and set his tablet aside, as Clint grit his teeth.

It took a moment to realize they were adjusting course. And another moment to realize the heat had kicked on; but the temperature inside the Stiletto had dropped, by almost five degrees. “ Lau. “

The consoles under his fingers were showing cold-stress; fog ringed fingerprints that might have only stayed a few seconds for the heat combating it, but it was there. “ Lau. We .. “ a breath when another shot went off. Clint knew very well what he was thinking. “ ..do we have -time- for this? “

“ Are we going into that? Like; -in-, to that? “

“ -I- am. Even if I -could- ignore that. Even if. “ he heard the bite and hiss to those particular two words. No, he couldn’t; ignore that: and Quill was up heading for the table where he’d hooked his holster, checking everything else he had gearwise otherwise. Apparently, they were all on the same page. “ That fire -has- to be stopped. “

And Clint was all in for this. They were already here, and watching that: no, just no. He’d seen them; there were kids out there. “ What’s the plan babe? “

“ Peter isn’t ready to try his hand at the Stiletto yet. Not like this. I am more durable, and the both of us know the equipment we'll be deploying better: so you will take her.. “ he was bringing up extra screens he hadn’t played with yet. They both heard the cha-kunk of panels opening on either side. “ I’m dropping shield beacons behind the barricades. So long as they remain undamaged, that will help keep any more firebombs from being dropped from this side at least and to an extent. Once the back wall is dropped and raised, you’ll need to put out what’s already on that side. Iggy, translation program; drop a small volley of relay drones with the message I’ve prepared. Let the men behind those barricades know we are friendlies here to assist their civilians. They don’t need to know anything else, yet. Make it fast, I want in without excess incoming fire. We’ll pick them up again on our way out if possible. “ Seven round metallics about the size of track and field balls were dispatched almost immediately, as they veered further north-west along the road at a much higher speed: and dropped stealth.

There were a few shots, before the view locked onto various points along the flowerpot-and-sandbag littered barricades those drones had arrived at started to pop up. A grunt as Loki took note of the large clearing furthest nor-west. It was set up clearly as a refuge camp, but well down the first set of cliffs the falls were roaring over. “ That’s Chilsipnisi Park. There are two major drops in the terrain, that the falls drop over; one right on it’s edge. Our main target is in between, near the first drop. I’ll drop and run with them; “ was not exactly a plan he liked, but. “ I’ll take a set of hover lifts and Iroga rings with me. That will get them, and me; down to the next level, and into Chilsipnisi. Clint, get closer, ready to switch. Peter, you said you’ve used propulsion boots. If you reach up above the table, there’s a long black handle tucked into the ceiling. Pull it down. I don’t use them myself, for other reasons; but there should be a set and stabilizers on the left side, underneath. Can you handle taking a few extra drones and putting out the larger incoming weapons fire; and if possible neutralizing some of those single mobile shooters? “

Okay, it was a little nerve wracking, but he did like a couple things about this. Firstly, he didn’t think he had ever experienced this side of Loki, to this extent. Or if he had, he didn't remember it. Clint knew he thought fast; was an amazing tactician when it came to manipulating a situation; but he had never really seen him go at this kind of bigger, military confrontation. Thor had made very brief mention of an instance or two since he had come back and they had started their training and war games at night. But this was an entirely different speed. In a matter of minutes, his trickster had assessed started up and brought a solid plan to deal with .. everything, on the field that was an immediate danger. He had come across four star generals who couldn't be that decisive without more intel.

“ Yeah I think so? “ was given a nod as Loki set things up for him so he could concentrate on flying, and just press buttons and follow prompts. It was almost a turn on how fast he worked; and he said as much even as Pete reached and pulled that handle, bringing the whole ceiling down behind him: the huge rack-like tables locking into place with the one they usually ate at; taking up space between the rail and the shut-in bed. Quill whistle, getting it a glance. And okay, he wished he had known that arsenal had been up there. Armor and other worn equipment on the right, everything else --quite a lot of everything else-- to the left. There was something there that caught his eye, briefly; a bow; some hundred arrows quivered or lined up in packs by type to the far left. He wondered, if those were his; before he refocused.

“ Take extra armor too, and as many other toys as you’re comfortable with. After fire suppression, Clint; you’ll stabilize a line just past the west bank. Iggy is now picking up anti-aircraft as well as mobile launchers on their way from the south and south-west. He is tagging them through satellites now. I only have four EMP packets on board, but those should stop them outright; if not slow them down… “ and he started to stand, switch was easy enough; they had practiced a few times and Clint was glad for it now. “ Babe, what’s the plan for the stone? “

A nod as he drew his hair back in a messy loop at the back of his head snapped up a few items Clint couldn’t pay attention to at the moment. “ That will depend on whether any of the plan changes, but mostly: the area needs to be secured first. “ The retreat of his voice told him he was already on his way past the steps. “ Once you’ve taken care of those things, and I’ve set up a better perimeter for the civilians at the least; we’ll go after the Stone and leave the rest to them in favor of getting it out of play here. So long as the beacons have power and remain undamaged -- “ the alarm, the rush of air below as eh switched to his headset; and he saw a second one come online on another screen. “ --they should hold. As it is they have a five day charge, at best. I would say three under this kind of fire though. So.. hopefully they will be able to hold out long enough to evacuate, or at least move their civilians somewhere more secure. “

“ And if things go bad? “ from Clint made him pause, as Clint brought up the view of the loading ramp. “ The only thing we can do, of course. “ He watched him pat Quill ahead; and their favorite almost-ginger dove out without hesitation; immediately making an aerial beeline for his targets, and immediately dodging incoming bullets. “ We improvise. “ and the next moment he looked, Loki was gone; the tether to what he had unlocked from cargo yanking after him and rolling out .. well things he didn’t think anyone else among them could even think to drop out of an airborne craft with, moving at this speed. “ Love you babe. Starlord ..watch your butt out there too. “

“ You got it Loxley. “ made Clint smirk a little at the next Robin Hood reference in line as he tracked them both. Loki being the showman he was and probably wanting to spook the ones taking shots at him; didn’t bother with any from of deceleration; which.. Made his stomach lurch a bit, but less so, knowing he’d dropped from much further heights in New York alone. “ Same applies, dude. And speak up, if you need an extra hand. These things are a lot speedier and more responsive than mine. Might be able to finish my end up faster than usual, with the HUD zoom engaged. “

Proved to be pretty true as he flicked his gaze back to the screen tracking Quill while he dropped the first line of fire suppression. “ Sooo been holding out on us, you asshole. I am getting you to my range back home, or into the training gym in New York when we’re done. I wanna know which of us is more accurate. “

“ I suck with a bow. “

“ You ever even shot -one- arrow in your life, Starbutt? “

“ Nope. That’s how I know I suck at it. “

“ We’ll trade back and for-- the FUCK was that ?! “

Middle of the second pass, the shadow fast-dropping for the woods below was big, intimidating, and hard to miss. Iggy was catching up with it still as Quill called it. “ Shit! Lo! Incoming interspatial! “ but it was the next, familiar combination of letters that followed that instantly raised the hairs on the back of his neck and had him loading up the first EMP on an immediate adrenaline spike. “ P.C.C.! ... “

Why is it a good idea to be a multishipper in the Voltron Fandom part 2 - Keith edition

Last time I wrote about various Lance ships and why it is great to ship him with others, to see potental in all ships and exlpore how the characters can interact with each other. Now it’s time for Keith. Again, the order is random, but I start with my favorites: Pidge and Keith.

Kidge/Peith

Two conspiracy theorist together. One moment they’re swapping ideas about Galra lore and in the next they’re discussing Mothman. Keith is very protective of Pidge and he would go to great lengths to help her, no matter the circumstances. Pidge is definitely the brain of the group and can balance Keith’s brash decisions. It’s a great match of two sarcastic outcasts, who are very protective about their families – whether it’s their blood relatives of their friends that they love deeply. Those two could be the best partners and I wish we could see more interactions between them, because from what we have from canon, they really work great together and care for each other deeply. Pidge could also bring out Keith’s softer side, which is always a good thing. And Keith can teach Pidge that being different is okay too – they can learn that together and be each others support.

Sheith/Kiro

Think of Shiro climbing all the walls Keith build around himself. Not destroying them, knowing how important they are to Keith, but getting close to him on Keith’s own terms, Keith letting him. No wonder they care for each other like no other. Their bond and their trust seem endless in a way, where they can always rely on each other. Keith will always look for Shiro if he goes missing and Shiro will do his best to let Keith grow to be a better person. Despite knowing each other like no other, they still have much more to learn, so they can get closer yet. Shiro can learn that Keith has his own secrets and insecurities, while Keith can see that Shiro’s PTSD needs to be addressed, that he needs help. They are the pillars of strength for one another, they see potential of growth in each other and will do anything in their might to offer support. The best friends who just love each other to no end.

Kunk/Heith

Imagine long, draining training sessions, with Keith slightly depressed and exhausted. Enter Hunk: with his wide grins, with his food, with the best hugs and awkward lifting words. Think of Hunk warming his way into Keith’s heart, making the other laugh, taking care of him, showing that he cares about him. And it’s so easy to imagine Keith returning the warm feelings with time: they work good together, they have an easy friendship in making, where Hunk is trusting him and Keith is learning to trust him as well. And they have so much to learn from each other, either about their strong points like engineering (Hunk) or fighting techniques (Keith) to how to open up and be more honest. And when something suspicious happens, both of them can be judgmental and full of sassy sarcasm and not trusting the new aliens they meet. Somehow those two could become the best of friends and who knows? That may evolve into something romantic.

Kallura

A power-couple. A Princess who learns not to judge others and learns to admire and trust and love a half-Galra. Who learns how to listen to others and take their opinions into consideration and not to take them for granted. And a half-Galra who learns that his heritage doesn’t mean he is a bad person. Who is loved and cared about and learns that he can find love and friendship by being himself, without fear of being outcasted, yet again. Allura can show Keith both how to be soft and strong and he can do the same for her, letting her know that her opinions matter and that he treasures her, that she had found a family in him. Keith can be her strength, can be the one who understands her the best – her insecurities and worries. Allura can be his heart, can be the one who listens to his troubles and who will keep his secrets safe. They might seem as two people who try to be stern, cold and hard, while in reality they’re soft and emotional. Together they could become the cutest, affectionate couple.

Klance/Leith

I already covered it in the first part of this series of posts, but I had to include few more thoughts about it (I will do it each time).

When you think about this pairing, you can easily see them forming a great friendship over time. Every rivalry (even one-sided) that gets more friendly is an opportunity to show how clashing characters can grow and learn from each other and how they can benefit from their friendship. And we already can see it in the show, with how Lance is more mature and how he values Keith’s opinions as a leader and Keith does the same, taking into account Lance’s advice. Those two have so much potential to be a power-duo, even if sometimes they would argue or tease each other, but that’s what makes this ship so interesting to explore. Plus they can both bond over their love for the Red Lion.

And again, bonus crack!pairings:

Katt/Meith

Matt had been aware of Keith trying to sacrifice himself. Imagine the confrontation afterward. Think about Matt’s instincts to protect, to shield, to help, concerned about Keith’s tendencies of not valuing his life enough. Think of Keith opening up, because finally someone showed that they care. That someone can listen to his concerns and that he doesn’t have to be a Paladin or a Blade to be important, that being Keith is enough. Think of them both slowly learning about each other, slowly getting to trust each other. If the current Shiro that’s with them is a clone, they will be a force to fear, that will do everything in their might to get him back. They both will do everything to bring this war to end and will not hesitate when their own lives are at stake. But maybe, maybe they can also both learn from each other how precious they are, how they matter to themselves and to others. And because Matt is so similar to Pidge, he could be a great friend to Keith, they could be conspiracy-theory buddies and they could balance each other. I can’t wait to see them interacting in canon.

Keitor/Lotoreith

Two half Galra. Neither seems to know what parental love is, neither seems to trust others and when he does, he might get betrayed. Both are vary of others and suspicious of those who offer their help. Keith is a bit obsessed with Lotor and he wants to stop him at all costs, while in the end, it’s Lotor who stops Keith from doing something horrible: dying. Will Keith be ever grateful for that? Will Lotor gloat about it? Will they ever trust each other? Lotor seems to have a thing for half Galras, so will he take an interest in Keith? It has so much potential: it could get angsty real fast, or actually really sweet: those two have so much in common, they would understand each other pretty quickly and they do have similar goals and ways of operating. Those two might be truly perfect for each other and they could find exactly what they’ve been missing in each other: home, family, a secure spot.

Isn’t it fun to see how great characters can bring the best out of each other? No matter if their relationship is platonic or romantic, there is no limit to ones imagination. Headcanon away, make your own AUs or take advantage from the canon. Just be kind to others who ship differently than you or join them in the fun <3

I don’t about you guys but I really like Klance. Like I was having another one of my daydreaming moments and I started thinking really deeply about Klance again,,,, and “I was like wow...... Keith is really lucky to Lance around and Klance seems like a healthy relationship.” Just think about it.

Keith is a super lonely dude. Like his parents disappeared when he was young, he went off to a school probably far away from the rest of his family, the only person he labeled as a part of his family is Shiro and he then disappeared in the Kerberos mission. He literally has had no one in his life to label as close as normal friends and family should. It’s gotten to these points:

1) He’s been alone for so long that he doesn’t know what normal things people say. (Ex. The Voltron chant w/ him and Lance)

2) (Not fact, but possibly) he believes that he can't get to attached to people or they’ll just disappear.

Imagine how heartbroken Keith must have felt when Shiro disappeared when he was literally in his grasp just moments before. Not once, but twice. That feeling of guilt. Like he could have done something when really it wasn’t in his control.

Which is why I don't think that any of those hugs between Shiro and Keith are ever really supposed to be seen as romantic. (OPINION) Keith knows that might disappear again, since it’s happened multiple times. This is his way of kind of comforting himself, letting himself know that he did his all and he doesn’t need to anything extra to prove that he cares about Shiro. (OPINION)

(Disclaimer: I’m not trying to bash in people that ship Sheith or another ship involving Keith. I’m just pointing out my opinions based on what I’ve seen in the show so far. So please don’t attack me for it.)

Now transitioning onto the original topic. K L A N C E. I was thinking about other ships and there was something I was thinking about. I’ll use both Sheith & Kunk as examples. With Sheith, both Keith and Shiro have known each other since Garrison. Shiro probably knows what ticks off Keith, all his quirks, so on and so forth. Which is a pretty good thing to have in relationships.

But here the problem.

Since Shiro knows everything about Keith, he’s not gonna do anything to help him grow outta his shell (OPINION). Thing about it. Keith needs someone to show him the world in a different light. I think Shiro would just leave Keith be, not wanting to do anything out of his comfort zone out of fear of Keith shutting people out even more. (OPINION)

With Kunk, Hunk barely knows Keith. He might only look at Keith from his grumpy exterior. (OPINION) Because of this, he will also leave Keith to be himself. (OPINION) Not that there is a problem with Keith being by himself. But, I love Keith to bits and I only want him to be happy.

Now this is where Klance comes in to play. As shown multiple times in the Voltron series so far, Lance is not afraid to be himself around Keith. He’s not afraid to make jokes even if no one laughs, not afraid to make random ass sounds, not afraid to dress in robes and put on face masks. Even if him and Keith are “rivals”, he doesn’t change himself to look better that him in anyway.

This is why I think Klance is so healthy. I think when it was that “Keith can be just as goofy as the rest of his team”, it will really show the more he is with Lance. Lance shows the goofy side of the world that Keith never saw. He will help Keith pop out of that shell that he’s been in for so long.

It shows in every season. Keith is slowly opening up. He laughs, he teases Lance (Keith:*Scoffs* Are you joking?) , he makes quirky comments (Keith: Leave the math to Pidge.). He is slowly learning that the world isn’t as gloomy as he though and it’s okay to make friends.

Even if Keith does have his moments where he’s wondering who he is or does he belong, I feel like Lance with be able to somehow relate or help Keith. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t mind if Klance doesn’t become canon. I just want to see how they grow helping each other out and not seeing each other as rivals hating each other.

Lance realizes Shiro doesn’t know what Pride is, also Shiro comes out (even though he definitely thought he was already out)

This is pure crack, and self-indulgent Shance (with a little side of Kunk/Heith because I’ve recently developed a need to ship them)

The sudden burst of movement and cold air blasting into their little nest of blankets reluctantly pulled Shiro from a deep and rather pleasant sleep. He had been dreaming of Lance, basking on a sun soaked beach, bursting with happiness and dark skin so warm dream Shiro couldn’t stop running his hands across his chest.

Even though he and Lance had never been together while on Earth, it was an experience he regularly thought about, dreamed about giving his boyfriend. Unfortunately, without his heater of a boyfriend, the overly enthusiastic air conditioning system of the castle was not allowing him to fall back asleep.

Reluctantly, Shiro realized he had no choice but to leave the dream. He blearily opened his eyes, hand reaching out blindly to pull Lance back to his chest in the hopes of at least resting with his eyes closed for a bit. Instead, he was met with more cold air, although the spot was still warm from Lance’s body, meaning he couldn’t have gone far.

Blinking rapidly, Shiro managed to clear most of the sleep from his eyes to spot Lance on the other side of the room, bent over and waist deep in their closet.

“Lance, baby? What are you doing?”

Lance’s head popped up quickly, hair a little erratic, and the shirt he stole from Shiro slipping haphazardly off his shoulder.

“I just realized what day it is.”

Still only half awake, Shiro waited for the rest of that thought to form, because for the life of him, Shiro couldn’t even remember what day of the week it was right now. Living in space had well and truly fucked his internal clock.

“Shiro, baby, sweetie, love of my life. It’s June 1st.”

Shiro quickly racked his brain for any missed birthdays or anniversaries, but came up empty.

“Lance, we started dating in November.”

Finally realizing his sleepy boyfriend was not keeping up, Lance stopped and gave Shiro a quizzical look.

“I know?”

Lance cocked his head to the side a little, looking inquisitive and adorable and incredibly tempting in silky blue panties, and if Shiro had been any less curious about what was happening, he wouldn’t have been able to resist.

“Baby, what is June 1st?”

Lance’s eyes lit up as he bounded back to their bed, wobbling precariously as he jumped up onto the mattress with both feet, only to drop down onto Shiro’s lap with surprising grace.

“It’s the first day of Pride!”

Shiro just gave him a blank look, his hands moving automatically to pull Lance more securely into his lap and up against his body as he shuffled into an upright position against the wall.

“You know, the month back on earth where you celebrate being the hot piece of bisexual ass you are.”

Lance spoke in a sing song voice, rocking teasingly in Shiro’s hold before moving to kiss the high point of his cheekbone with a loud smack. As always, Lance’s happiness was infectious, and Shiro couldn’t help but smile as he stole his own kiss, biting lightly at the underside of his boyfriend’s jaw.

“Sorry, Lance. I haven’t a clue what you’re talking about.”

The smile slipped suddenly from Lance’s lips as his eyes turned thoughtful, and if Shiro guessed right, a little bit homesick. There was nothing worse in Shiro’s mind than a Lance who wasn’t smiling, and there was very little he wouldn’t do to bring that smile back.

“But if you show me how, I would love to celebrate it with you.”

Lance’s eyes shot up from where they had turned to bore a hole in the wall behind Shiro’s head, smile already moving to curl the edges of his lips again.

“Really?”

“Absolutely, I would love to celebrate the ‘hot piece of bisexual ass’ that is my boyfriend.”

Lance beamed, scrambling off Shiro in his haste and nearly kneeing him violently in the crotch, not that Shiro could bring himself to care all that much. Lance looked happy again, swaying his hips, humming as he moved through his clothes.

There was just something about Lance that made you want to do whatever you could for him. Even the castle had a special fondness for him, given the large number and variety of clothing it somehow managed to produce at Lance’s every whim.

“What are you looking for—?”

“Ah! Here it is! Perfect!”

When Lance turned around, he grinned as he tossed a crumpled shirt across the room to land in Shiro’s lap. Shiro took it, surprised by the plainness of it, until he shook it out and laughed at the bold text across the front.

He really would do anything for Lance, but it was always nice when it turned out to be something he enjoyed, too.

Keith grumbled as he poked around at the goo on his plate. Hunk had sworn up and down it would taste like pancakes with syrup, but all Keith could taste was a vaguely avocado flavor, and an unfortunately very slimy avocado texture.

By the time Shiro and Lance had made it into the room, Keith had pretty much lost his appetite and was looking for a distraction to keep Hunk from noticing his less than enthusiastic response to his new creation. Which was probably why Keith was the first to notice the bold and colorful ‘Bisexuals Have More Fun’ written across Shiro’s barely big enough to cover his pecs, shirt.

“What?”

Lance smiled brightly when he saw Keith looking their way and scampered over to his friend’s side.

“Good morning Keith, a happy Pride to you, my dear gay friend.”

He bowed, his voice sounding vaguely British, something Keith normally would have complained about, except his eyes were still trained on Shiro.

“You’re bi?”

The room froze, and the look of happy indulgence Shiro had been casting Lance’s way slipped into a frown.

“Uh, yeah? I thought you knew?”

Keith looked around in bewilderment, first at Lance, who was glaring at him for some unfathomable reason, then thankfully to the Hunk, who looked just as surprised as he felt.

“Knew? I thought you were straight!”

And actually, now that Keith thought about it, he was a little pissed that Shiro hadn’t told him. He had told Shiro he was gay. He thought they were close enough for that shit but apparently—

“Straight? You…you thought Shiro was straight?”

Now it was Lance and Shiro’s turn to look confused as Hunk nodded along in agreement with Keith’s outburst.

Lance turned to Hunk imploringly, but he just kind of shrugged in apology, looking anywhere else but at his fellow teammates.

“Yeah, man, I mean…it isn’t like Shiro does anything that would have given us a hint.”

Jaw nearly to the floor, Lance looked at each of them in turn before turning back to Shiro.

“Does fucking me on the regular mean nothing anymore?”

Shiro’s face burned red, hands automatically moving to cover his face as both Hunk and Keith’s eyes shot to him in unison. He was fighting a very strong impulse to make a tactical retreat, but knew that if he left Lance alone, things would likely only get worse, probably resulting in even more ill-timed revelations about their private lives.

“I’m assuming you guys didn’t realize that we were dating?”

“For eight months we’ve been dating! What kind of friends are you? I knew right away when you two started dating. No one had to tell me! Because I’m a good friend!”

Keith looked like he had temporarily blacked out from shock, Hunk’s hand at the center of his back the only thing keeping him from toppling over. Hunk was speechless because, honestly, Lance kind of had a point, but they really truly hadn’t known.

The outburst seemed to have finally drawn Pidge out from whatever hiding space they had been. Without looking up from the robot in their hands, they pat Shiro on the arm as they moved to take their regular spot at the table.

“Hey Shiro, happy Pride. Nice shirt.”

It honestly didn’t even surprise Hunk that Pidge knew and neither he nor Keith had. Pidge knew everything.

So I love Klance so much and i just reblogged a post talking about all the klance things that could happen in s3 of voltron but like half of the things on that list was done with Hunk and Keith. C’mon guys, that Hance/Kunk episode was beauitful and like I feel like Hunk is the only one that can really tease him about being Galra because he’s just doing it for laughs and not to hurt him. Not that the other members would but just how accepting Hunk was.

Coming to terms that this show I adored a few years ago is just alright.

S7 had a lot of enjoyable moments, but also had a lot to he disappointed with.

They hyped up Adam like he was going to be a character. They should have never confirmed their relationship like they did, without ever addressing it in the show itself. How hard would it have been for someone on the team to ask who Adam was to Shiro and for that to be when Shiro explains that he was his boyfriend/fiance, and he gets to morn for more than a few seconds before it's all cool again. Like. Still shitty that they burried their gay, but at least it would have been confirmed in the show itself instead of just being brownie points for the writers.

I've accepted that Allurance is endgame, but. Wow, that came out of nowhere. They didn't even have a whole lot of moments before that scene. Lance was finally coming to terms with the fact that he actually loved her, but Allura JUST got out of a relationship. A pretty bad one at that. Well no, it was a good relationship, then the writers blindsided us with the altean colony with absolutely no buildup. I was looking forward to to the two of them getting close, truly becoming friends before Allura thinks she might like Lance but. They barely talk this season and suddenly she's in love with him too?

Keith was kind of an ass this season, but he's always kind of been an ass. His character didn't really bother me this season. That scene with Hunk? Beautiful. Klance is dead, all aboard the kunk train.

Speaking of Hunk, he was the best part of this season. He wasn't purely comic relief, he had a clear character arc, he's the loving glue that keeps this team together. The VLD team is lucky that I love Hunk because without him I would have drop kicked this entire show.

Pidge hugging her mom? Good shit. Pidge took a backseat this season, which is good, because she found her family and her arc is over. The scenes she did have were good, and Plance is fucking real.

Shiro. Like. Love him. I just hate that he got JKR Dumbledored. Okay, it's probably not that bad but. He was confirmed queer outside of the show, his fiance was confirmed outside of the show, and the only thing that happened in the show was the death of said fiance. Oh and their one conversation was a fight. So that's nice.

Allura. I don't really have a lot to say, she didn't really stick out to me. That thing she did where she punched through the floor was fuckin cool. Not thrilled how quickly she's being put into a relationship with Lance. They both need time apart to become their own people before they can come together and be in a relationship. Lance has spent too much time pining, and Allura just got out of a relationship.

Coran is the only reason I'm watching this show at this point. He never lets me down.

I forgot the plot device's name from the altean colony. Glad she's actually a character this season.

I guess a lot of my anger comes from behind the scenes issues. And pacing. God this show is terrible with pacing. Eeeeeeeh.

Epsiode 1:

No, Allura, no. That was not a good thing to say to him. That was a shitty thing to say to him, because he doesn’t feel like that, quite the opposite. He wants Shiro to take his place. He doesn’t want his place in Voltron any more. Plus he feels more Galra and a Blade than a Paladin? How can they not get it? HOW CAN SHIRO NOT GET IT???? (also that could have been such a nice Kallura moment…? *sigh*)

I know they will get out of this situation and I know they will somehow save the planet, but hearing all those ‘we can’t die yet’, just gives perspective to the whole show. Yeah they’re mostly fighting robots, yeah there isn’t much death, but this is war and really, it’s a given someone will die. Like Regis. Like Te-osh and Narti. Yet we are supposed to see them as heroes that are invincible and that just hurts to see them so broken. UGH. Feelings for a cartoon.

LANCE I LOVE YOU, YOU ARE THE HEART OF VOLTRON, YOU JUST DON’T KNOW IT OH GOD. Someone please just make this boy appreciated.
