After wishing your goodbyes, you both slightly shake off the flour, and you put the dough in the refrigerator. Apparently, you have to let it be firm.

Well, the two off the top of my head are obviously The Mandalorian, which I'm sure I don't need to explain, and another Star Wars media: the animated series The Bad Batch - which the fandom jokingly calls the Dad Batch because it's a show about a group of brothers who are "defected" clones and they find themselves taking under their wing a little girl named Omega who is technically their sister because she's the first and only female clone.

And while Omega has a very special and unique relationship with each one of her brothers, one specifically stands out.

While the others are like brothers/uncles, Hunter is truly a father. They have a special connection from the start, as you can see here in this pic she's his little shadow and loves to mimic him. At this point in the story, he's all about giving her a life she deserves, away from danger and just letting her be a kid. He's a tired dad but he loves being a dad. And everyone can tell by just looking at him.

Another pair I've been recently obsessed with is Stephen Strange and America Chavez. Even if you're not into MCU, go watch Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness because the boost of serotonin the Instant Adoption trope in this movie gives you is everything you hoped for and more.

Like, the protective instinct in Stephen pops up out of nowhere and he's like what the hell?! I can't turn it off! But do I want to turn it off? Nah, not really.

Istg, maybe there's not a lot of content with just one movie but the FICS?! The fics are chef's kiss!

Then there are other more famous pairs like Hopper and El from Stranger Things or Geralt and Ciri from the Witcher. But those I think I don't need to explain because their cases are widely known. So I'm gonna go in a different direction.

Oldie but a goodie. Marcel Gerard and Davina Claire from The Originals. Used to be my whole personality like Dick & Rachel and Joel & Ellie are now. I'm not gonna lie, my heart got broken many times and they are the reason I have trust issues but god they were so good. Like c'mon, the man saves her from literally being sacrificed in some ritual and instantly goes "yup, you're my child now", dials up his protectiveness to 11, creates her a beautiful room in the old church's attic, and even if he fucks up many times, I haven't seen a man love stronger before I met Marcel Gerard.

And of course:

SAVING THE BEST FOR THE LAST HAHAHA. DICK GRAYSON AND RACHEL ROTH, DC TITANS. But if you followed me for a while, here or on Twitter, you know the drill already. My first & spoiler-free thoughts about Honkai Star Rail.

TL;DR: AMAZING!!! The world seems fascinating and the characters are cool as heck!

Also feel free to let me know what you think of the game! Would also love to hear your thoughts.

I'm overall very confused still. But I'd say that is normal. It's an entirely new world with new lore and functions. There are so many new terms I have to understand first (which is also why I'll take my time to understand everything first before I even think about writing the first fic for it sjkdjs).

I went with the male MC because I simply liked his aesthetic more than the female MC. I also picked Lumine in Genshin so... perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

Speaking of aesthetics; the entire space/cyberpunk-ish look of the game has me in a chokehold, oh my gosh. I think I've mentioned it briefly before, but some of you may know that I'm working on an original story with a futuristic cyberpunk setting w/ techwear - so I'm obsessed with that! Right up my alley!

I also find it sort of refreshing that there is no Paimon? I mostly don't mind her in Genshin but sometimes she definitely ruins the mood, haha!

The character's personalities are super engaging and they're all just very likable! Also their designs, as expected from hoyo - superb!

The combat is very fun and feels super fluid. Not hard to get into but probably hard to master - so in that aspect similar to Genshin.

The main character is SNARKY asf! Like holy moly, haha! I love it!

And last but not least... Dan Heng and Welt. That's just it. That's the bullet point. You needn't know more. Look at them.

Also know how I mentioned that Alhaitham has the same personality as my bf? Yeah well... Welt has his looks. Am I projecting? Coping even? Maybe... but istg, if I add a white streak to my bfs hair, boom, carbon copy.

Hellooo~ I think I’m about to ramble a whole bunch so i hope this entertains you despite the heat of the earth right now.

I had been the type of reader who forgets the titles and authors’ names since I liked being a silent fan but have also wanted to avoid attachment to certain fics. This was probably because I personally don’t have a lot of free time but also because I had experienced fics that went on a forever hiatus. (I still loved the authors and totally respect their decisions tho.) That tmi backstory leads me to what I wanted to tell you:

I had loved your wereroomies installments but didn’t know that it was you nor were they part of the same universe. Basically, I loved your stories before knowing you, if that makes sense. BUT, the major force that actually made me want to see your other works was Five-Point Star. I literally wanted to scream at you (in a good way) so I worked up the courage to message but never did SLDJKSJDJE LMAO. (Now wereroomies took me on a chokehold so that’s how I ended up sending an actual message 🥹😭)

SO, the reason that I’m writing now is to tell you that I finally re-read Five-Point Star and 😩😩😩😩 here’s my thoughts about it cuz it still makes me Feel Everything the same way when I first read it.

FIRST OFF, of course you made another Chris to love 🥹. I felt how the MC’s job made her so distant to people and connections so having someone like Chris that could make her feel warm, make her laugh, and crave normality was sooo lovely.

I love how you wrote the whole thing. Like, I did kinda see how it would go but the whole build up and how it actually went was *chef’s kiss*. I really like this kind of trope but I’m also a sucker for that ending 😭. Thanks for breaking me, jk.

LASTLY, my brain worm went haywire with the ending so it started writing it’s own part 2 despite it being a one-shot 🥹. idk what to do with it so imma share it with you and release it from my head. LIKEEE, imagine some time has passed and MC moved to a different location and slowly tried to lessen her load of assassin work. She never really finished her last mission and retracted her contract to kidnap Seungmin. Trying to move on from the biggest heartbreak, she tries out to have a normal life in a different city to forget all of her what if’s. That is, until she gets kidnapped. (The irony.)

She wakes up in a room with a few armed men guarding her, and Seungmin or someone from Five-Point Stars telling her that they want to hire her. They want to get revenge or silence whoever tried to threaten the Kims using her, and the only one who has any information on who wanted Seungmin was her so they tracked her down. Of course, the leader of the whole Five-Point Star squad would be our beloved Chris 🥹. She can’t refuse because they have all of her information and can definitely use her previous assassin history against her. ALSBKAJDJSBDJDND I’ll stop there 😭 my brain worm is doing a funk istg i didn’t mean to ramble this long but oh well.

i'm all here for some Five-Point Star love 😩 i love love love that story. i felt like i was possessed the entire time i was writing it (i suppose many of us felt that way after watching that 5-STAR trailer and seeing Christopher in that outfit 😵).

i've been thinking about that story a lot these days, and i love love love your take on what could've happened after it.

what you're describing is similar to one of the scenarios i had in mind for a part 2.... i actually have so many different ideas for a part 2 sdjhfsjkdf. BUT, i think i have finally decided on the main ones i liked out of all the ones that came to my head, and i can say that i AM working on a part 2 👀 (i'm already over 6k in and it's nowhere near finished....). even though it isn't quite like what you're describing, i hope you'll like it once it's done and published💜

(mind you, FPS is a story that imo can definitely stand on its own without a part 2.... but you know how it is by now, my brain just does whatever it wants, and it wants to have a part 2 because it couldn't handle the ending KJDSHFKSJDF).

What I had in mind was along the theme of the dingy halls of beauty and the beast (yk i od'ed over disney movies this week) but then that backfired and it looked depressing so I decided to go with the light theme ; yk when the castle transforms to white marble and the old and cracked one that the beast was living in disappears? Istg when the prince came; such a disappointment cause I really liked the beast ʕノᴥヾʔ

The artwork i used is of awanqi's; and they're one of my fav artists; my phone's wallpaper was set to that and one of my fav pieces was of eros and pyshce (cupid and psyche) and the colors were just- ah. *speechless*

I might change the theme again though (i was thinking of setting it to haikyuu or csm or something? idk i'll have to see how it pans out)

So over 10 years ago this jpop boy group called KAT-TUN put me in a chokehold & one of the members {who still is part of the group to this day} named Kamenashi Kazuya did one of the most captivating solo performances; the performance of 1582 at Tokyo Dome in 2009 was basically my canon event. Istg it altered my brain chemistry forever

A post from 2011 breaks down everything if you want to understand the song & how it's presented if Japanese isn't your first language or you have never seen the footage before:

I was already aware I probably wasn't straight as young as like 6 years old but by 2009, as I was a freshman in highschool, I watched this performance and went "oh". Then I would spend 2010-2013 realizing what the differences between bisexuality and pansexuality and it's safe to say I lean more pan.

As for being nonbinary, it took a long time to come to terms with simply because being a 7 year old girl with facial hair & being forced to conform my whole life has put me under so much trauma & bs offline. Had the pandemic not happened, had I not interacted with medical professionals who asked if I could be intersex {I'm not btw, had to do ultrasounds and shit}, & not been around other adults who like me for me & allow me to bring it up- I think I would still be grappling with it.

But the day I confirmed I wasn't intersex (after spending a few weeks wondering if I really was nonbinary), I spent a whole 8hrs trying to relocate this video because I couldn't remember the song name and concert; then I rewatched it to see if how I felt at 14/15 years old was still the same. "Why would a cis man make me not straight?" "Why when I tell others about this specific performance they don't get it?" "Did I mis-remember that performance?" had been questions that internally chewed away at me until roughly a year ago. I resonated with the story, the low key drag performance, & honestly would still give anything to be Kame-chan in that moment

So in short, figure out what was the show, character, story, song, person, thing, etc. that gave you the epiphany that you're not straight and think about why you resonated with it- especially if you're unsure if you're trans or nonbinary. What shaped you as a child really does subconsciously guide you as an adult.
