somwthing that i wish was explored more both in the show and in fan content is how fucking terrified alejandro must have been of mal while on the island
like.. in wt all his enemies were just other teenagers trying to win a million dollars like him and nothing more, but all stars is a completely different story
the competition takes a backseat to the fact that his worst enemy this time round is actively trying to kill people, him being one of those people
every morning, alejandro had no idea what kind of shit mal would pull that day (either on him or someone else) and that must be fucking terrifying, especially since hes literally trapped on that island until he gets eliminated

Apparently people are getting triggered by how much Taylor is talked about, yet again.
I can't help wondering if the same reaction would happen if she were a 34 y/o male artist with the same amount of albums and trophies.
But aside from that people are dropping terms such as "celebrity worship", defining it as weird and dangerous.
I'm so sorry, but dangerous for who?
I don't define myself a Swiftie per se because I almost feel like it would be disrespectful towards those og stans that have been following her for so long. But I find Taylor to be a genius writer, great singer and showoman (if that's a term lol, forgive me I'm italian), an outstanding businesswoman and an absolute inspiration for every young girl and why not for women all across the globe. Because she's genuine, because she's talented and able to stand up for herself and what's right, because she's successful and doesn't give it for granted, because who else should women look up to if not someone who's been doing nothing else than speaking to them with her art? And I know that not only women listen to her, but I feel like women are the majority of her following and there's a reason why. I could do a whole other post on that subject and how her music reflects so many experiences women go through.
But regardless, what's so dangerous about Taylor Swift and the love she receives? What's so scary to you? Is it just envy? Somehow I don't think it is just that anymore, for the most of haters at least, for the ones that feel the need to comment her posts and even the ones she doesn't post. I've read a comment the other day underneath Vogue's picture of their most recent cover (where Taylor is nowhere to be seen). This person was saying how happy they were Taylor was not featured.
Who's more obsessed if you think of her even when she doesn't appear? Instead of focusing on the other lots of magnificent women featured in the post you go out of your way to point out how glad you are that another one of them isn't in there with them? Why are we so terrified of a woman's success?
That seems more dangerous to me than Taylor could ever be to anyone of you.
